Marijke Bluto I paid $100 for Gel Pedicure and Full set. Also left $10 tip… They were nice enough but there was a woman waiting 1 hour for her appointment. Because of this, my nail tech was rushing and only did one coat of color on my acrylics. It’s completely see through, there are even parts that are unpainted! It shows quite a bit when in the sun or outside. The red tips are crooked and look ugly tbh… if she did the tips correctly the rating would be different. My feet have red nail polish on the skin and we’re done way too quickly! I called and asked them to fix it but they said they couldn’t until 5:00PM I am seeing family for the Holidays which is why I got it done yesterday! Very upset, wish I could get a refund, will not be coming back.

Taffy Dugan Ive been going to Nail Art for 3 years now and have been happy each time. Last month, I visited my family in Maryland and took my sister-in-law to a fancy nail salon for a mani-pedi; the salon botched it all and even cut my toe. They were way too expensive for such a poor job. I then realized that Nail Art spoiled me. Sure, they dont offer wine or espresso like that fancy place, but their work is impeccable - which is much more important. Thank you Nail Art for fixing what that fancy place did. I wont stray again.

Joe Stevenson I made my wife an appointment here due to the 4.7 star rating as well as the example pictures on google. She showed them a simple design she wanted with red tips and 3 gems descending. They didn’t listen to the tips part on the toes and She asked for the gems on the middle finger of the nails. They said “we don’t do gems”. All the while they have a whole wall of available gems. They just rushed her and didn’t want to follow the design. She won’t be returning.

qui aguirre Emma is so good at what she does. Very talented and detailed. She takes her time and checks in with you while she’s doing your nails. She is so sweet and makes you so comfortable! I will be going back. 10/10 work ethic. The shop and all of the employees are so welcoming. Thank you! My nails are worth showing off!

mina viramontes Emma did amazing on my acrylic full set and she is so efficient with her time. Sophia did my pedicure and put a lot of effort into some reconstruction I needed. Some of the best service I have had from a nail shop in a long time. This place is a must try.

Allie Stern Since moving here in July, Ive been going to La Belle and have always had a great experience. The salon is beautiful, and I like the ample parking out front. They also have an ATM inside, which is helpful as you get $5 off if you pay with cash. I usually see Emma (the owner), who always does a great job with my nails. Shes good at nail art, too, and does fun designs on my nails. I highly recommend checking out La Belle!

Mrs Castaneda I just love my nails. They do the best job that I’ve had done in a long time. It’s hard to come across a good nail tech, but they are truly experts. And make you feel just like you’re at home and great customer service :)

Cazandra Aguilar Phenomenal service. Called for a walk-in last minute and was told to come over. Got the $62 pedicure that had the works! It was absolutely worth the money. It was $15 extra for gel polish. Also got a new acrylic set, almond French. I dont know the name of the guy but I appreciated that he continued to check in during the process, asking if there was anything I wanted fixed or changed before moving onto the next step. He understood that I didnt want thick acrylic, thin and natural. Definitely going back!

Maxine Bandner Just WOW! Sue and Alex literally creat perfection. They are extremely detailed, meticulous, and take their time. A lot of salons rush because they’ve got a line up and overbook. Not here, this is the place to go for talent.

Mary Kay Hartley I have been coming to Sunny Nails since it opened. I was initially pleasantly surprised by how clean and uncluttered the new space was. And peaceful. I had had bad experiences with “powder “ nails as the nail underneath was left damaged. Tanya assured me the product she used would not harm the nails. I saw that she was right when I came for next manicure. As I am hard on my hands, rarely using gloves, this is the only way my nails last for 2-3 weeks between manicures! The pedicures I have received here are also top notch. I am so happy to have this very welcome addition to our neighborhood.

Danielle Johnston I love coming to Sunny Nails every few weeks for some me time :) The ladies always take care of me and my nails. I recently switched from gels to acrylics based on their recommendation and I’m surprised I didn’t make the switch sooner! For moms that use their hands a lot, acrylics are the way to go! Costs a little more than gels, but doesn’t chip or break as easily, if at all. After trying a few nail salons in the Rincon Valley area, I highly recommend others try this one. You won’t be disappointed!

S H So happy a friend recommended this place! It’s truly the best place in town for a gel pedicure and one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. My gel looked perfect for 4 weeks, without a single chip. I especially appreciate the strict adherence to sanitization of all the equipment and tools. They are very gentle and responsive to your wishes in nail shape. The leg/foot massage is a huge bonus as well. She prefers appointments but will still honor walk-ins if they have time. This is now my go-to spot and I highly recommend them!

My nails look amazing, and lasted a good three weeks. They have a large selection of colors, and take wonderful care of you. Ellie Guillaume First time going to this Nail Salon for a pedicure. They were ready for me as soon as I came in (had made an appointment a few days prior). My technician was a young man who was very personable and did a good job. Convenient location and ample parking as well.

They also have a lot of options for colors to choose from! The woman who helped me (Emily) was very gentle throughout the entire process. I will definitely come here again!

Demi Pike Had an appointment and was rushed through the entire process and made to feel like an inconvenience. Both techs were rough handed and both pedicure and manicure hurt. They sliced through my cuticles with files and tools. Every nail is a different shape and length. The tech doing my nails was on their phone the entire time and I had to repeat myself. They were argumentative and disorganized. The salon is cluttered and dusty giving a dirty vibe. They shuffled me to one seat then another and then another. Horrible results, service, and experience. DO. OT RECOMMEND - pictures below are AFTER I had to shape my nails myself to try and salvage a $59 manicure

Ms Bourgeois I hate giving nagetive reviews, but... I use reviews myself so... I had an appointment at Pure Bliss, so it is not a "we fit you in" situation. It was on Friday afternoon, after a long week, I was looking forward to some pampering... The pedicure was ok. My toes were winter toes, so... I can see that she didnt have that much to work with. 10$ for a callus treatment (which I didnt really need, but my heels were dry, so I went for it) did not leave my heels as soft as I would have hoped so I cant imagine what it would have done for real calluses. The manicure was done Standing beside my chair during the pedi... very awkward position as the chairs are close together. I could not relax as I had to kind of twist to make my hands available. I have never had a manicure done standing up on the fly like this. Very strange (and unprofessional in my opinion). One lady "cleaned up" my cuticles while talking loudly to her coworkers. Then another lady put on the color (she literally looked like she had never done it before, she was incredibly slow, and I could have done better which is saying a LOT. I pay for a reason). I asked for the same color as my toes, she came up with a bright pink (apparently due to the difference between gel (toes) and regular). Ok. The lady doing my toes applied a different color on top of the shoddy applied bright pink. It was still a bit too bright for my taste, but I was already done with the mani drama. The photos show my manicure. My nails are short as they are regrowth after greatly damaged nails grew out. This is regular polish (Im taking a break between dip nails)... All in all that costed me 85$ for a gel pedi, regular mani and 10$ "callous treatement". I will not go again. The place looks clean, the lady doing my toes seemed to be the only one in there with any clues as to what she is doing. Upsale game is strong in there. It is just not a place I would recommend to friends. Sorry. Giving two stars because the pedicure was ok.

Ameelvi Torres Not enough attention to detail. I got a gel manicure with French tip. She did not clean the nail properly before applying polish and you can see dirt trapped underneath the polish. There is polish all around the nail on my cuticles and since it’s gel I can’t just take it off. Cuticles were not cleaned up properly either. It looks fine from afar but this is a job I could’ve done at home, not something I would pay a professional to do.

Hannah Darrow They were open late when I was in desperate need of an acrylic fill after I bent one of my nails allllll the way backwards. Elsa did a beautiful job with this fancy red set for an incredible price and stayed late which was incredibly kind.

Nina S I scheduled an appointment at this salon for 2 pedicures and 1 manicure, I wanted to treat my mom for her birthday. As soon as we walking in nobody greeted us. We stood there in the entrance for about 5-10 minutes waiting for a worker to say something. We then decided to leave, but as soon as we walked outside a worker ran after us and apologized and said they’ll be ready for us in 5. Feeling bad we decided to stay. As soon as they sat us down in the pedicure chair they left us and forgot about us, so much so that the water over flowed onto the floor. The woman who did my pedicure kept giving me dirty looks and stated that the color I wanted for my nails (white) didn’t look good on my skin color. I asked for a gel pedicure and regular manicure. The woman who did my pedicure kept insisting I do gel on my manicure, after I told her no about 8 times she gave me more dirty looks…. It was just an overall terrible experience with the woman who did my pedicure, the rest of the girls were very nice.

X Vanessa Service on 10/15/2024 Owner was very friendly at the beginning until I forgot to add the tip on my payment. :( I got 3 services from this place. Hot stone pedicure 8/10 on the website is advise that included callus removal. But at the post inside the shop it has been removed. Full set 7/10 bleeding around cuticles:( and no oil at the end so my hands were all dry around cuticles. Eyelashes 10/10 first time doing it. So I’m not sure. But the look amazing. Sorry but I just give a real opinion :( Place was renovated and it feels comfortable

They offer a wide variety of services and recently renovated. Online booking is easy and I love that they take walk-ins as well. I’ve started bringing my daughter and she loves it too. She took the time to explain later by layer the process as well as the differences between the dip and a gel manicure as well as the long term benefits. I had a dip manicure and we’ll as a paraffin gel pedicure. I will be back!

Owner prefers cash and does not say so upfront. Had a mani & pedi for under $100. Next visit I only had a manicure with a light colored gel nail polish and I was charged $120! Scam artists. I will never recommend this nail salon to anyone.

Joan Wanjau I moved back to town 9 months ago, and it took me that long to finally find a nail salon comparable to my longtime tech in Oakland. After doing tons of research and asking around, I found that many people struggle to find a salon that can remove gel/extensions without harming the nails. I tried Santa Rosa Nails and Shiloh Nails in Windsor, but they didn’t meet this standard. But I finally found a place that does! Salon: Pretty Nails Location: 1004 Hopper Ave, Santa Rosa, CA They’re under new management, and their team is amazing! I personally go to Ken, as he came highly recommended, and I wasn’t willing to risk another bad experience in Sonoma County. I may try other techs down the line, but for now, Ken’s my go-to. I’ll post pictures of my gel builder removal and my nails after getting T.A.P. (hard gel) applications. I left completely satisfied and relieved to have found my new nail spot. This was 7 months after my experience at Santa Nail Salon, and my nails now reflect what proper care and experience look like.

Camila Negrete They did an amazing job on my Gel X nails!!! I came in with a gel set from a past salon and they were able to remove them and do the Gel X. Would definitely recommend, especially if you’re looking for a chill atmosphere.

They kept asking us questions about shape and length we kept telling them we wanted them shorter and they said no long as good they kept ignoring our request. We asked her shiny and they said no Matte looks better. Entire time ignoring what we wanted and trying to do what they wanted but we were charged $110 The man who did our design did my friends nails uneven the middle finger nail was way bigger than all the other nails By the time we got to the end to put on the jewels and bows, they had a girl who had never done nails before use a gel to put on our diamonds and bows. She put them on Crooked and kept smearing the glue Then slide the diamond with her finger to make them straight, but they were still crooked and was getting mad at us because she put them on Her to fix them. She got some type of glue all over my fingertips and just left it there when I asked her to take them off. She acted like she didn’t know what I was saying. By the time we got home, all of our bows and diamonds had come off and a couple of our nails without even hitting them on you. We had to have a babysitter, watch our kids and don’t live in town and that was really Our only Availability to have our nails Done it was suppose to be a relaxing girls day instead the worst experience

Anastasia Lester I have been here twice now. Each time I was treated kindly and had a very relaxing experience, leaving with beautiful nails. The salon is clean and the pedicure chairs are very cozy. I am unsure if they autoclave their instruments? Sure hope they do. Today, they were able to squeeze me in just before closing time, and I was so grateful. My nails feel strong and look exactly like I wanted. I will look forward to returning here.

Akagi Ayami Im only giving a two star cuz of how cute my nails are, if they were ugly I wouldve given less. I got a manicure and the guy who did my nails was so rude. Everytime I got so happy he would tell me not to. Also, while getting them sized, since it was my first time I wanted short. The guy tho said "get longer or I wont do your nails." He would also nonstop lecture me and my friend for being a bit late. Like first of all, Im paying, second, it was that late. He seemed very greedy too. While pulling out money, I first pulled out a 50 and was still reaching for a 20 to make it 70, and this guy kept rushing us. Horrible customer service but cute nails, and also way to over priced for something so basic.

Mama Pink These guys have been working so hard throughout Covid and are still standing strong! Last year I had to get my nails done outside, but they made it work! This is my latest creation, yeah, they let me mix different colors than what they have to choose from and we have fun with it. This turned out to be a perfect match to the Romy and Michele dresses!

Victoria I wanted my acrylics taken off and to get a manicure. They didn’t fully remove the acrylic, put too much pressure on the drill and hurt my pinky nail, did not shape my nail, or push back my cuticle. I just finished shaping my nails prior to taking the pictures. Nice lady’s but I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you looking for similar services to mine.

Bernadette E I am new to the area and I found this gem ...(Sonoma Nails)... not far from where I live and located in a convenient little shopping center here in town. My experience with Kim and Duc was an absolute positive one starting with my initial phone call to see if they had time for my full set and pedi. They were able to pencil me in for about an hour and a half later and when I found myself running late they gave me a call to see if I was still coming in, and I was so grateful for the call. Kim was patient with me and very kind and let me know that I could come in whenever and that all would be well. This was yesterday evening. I made it in and sat with Duc who did my full set. The care and attention to my needs and wants that I received at Sonoma Nails was on point and far surpassed my expectations. They have all these cool new colors and different styles available for their clients, and they dont charge extra for the coloring or style you choose. I was impressed with the quality and timely manner of services I received. Duc does a great job paying attention to detail and anticipated my needs fairly accurately. The prices are the best in town and I am returning today for my Pedi. I will definitely be coming here... And! Only here!... on a regular basis for all of my Nail Shop needs. Jennifer I started using Magnolia Salon a year or so ago after a client suggested them. I have been very pleased with the quality of their services, especially with manicurist “Ty”, who is always willing and able to provide special requests and designs for special occasions.

Liana Casciani The pedicure was nice and still Holding up 3 weeks later which is standard. But dip nails I wouldn’t recommend at all. They were streaky and lumpy. At first when I reached out they only offered for me to come in that day for a fix but I was 2 hrs away and couldn’t come see them that day. After reaching out a few more times, they never responded. After 1 week, 2 nails chipped and broke off, I’m almost at 3 weeks post dip manicure and all but two nails have cracked and torn off. I live an active life style which is why I love dip nails, I’ve been getting them monthly for 4 months from different places and never had such a poor experience. Really bummed because I thought a good spot, but alas I will have to continue my search in the Santa Rosa area.

Victoria De La Cruz This place is the best! Ive tried many other salons and this one is perfect IMO. I get what I ask for every time. They always have the color I ask for and their nail art is perfect. I usually go in with a group and they are so hospitable in the way they accommodate us and join in on conversations and laugh along with.

Carrie Efficient, relaxing pedicure today. Able to get in within 15 min when I called ahead. The salon is conveniently located in the Safeway/ CVS plaza next door to the Flamingo hotel. Kim gave an awesome foot massage and did a wonderful job hand painting my toenail tips. Im ready for Christmas! Will definitely return. Thank you, Kim, & Merry Christmas!! ❄️⛄️

Becky Lipe The place was dirty and not well kept. The polish all looked old. The basins for your toes looked old and dingy. Chairs were also old, dingy and uncomfortable. The pedicure was fast, hardly scrubbed for dead skin (like 3 swipes with a pumice). I dont think she used a top coat. My nails look like I did them myself. Not high priced but also not worth the money. I am disappointed bc they had such high ratings. Not sure why

Reverend Ana Susan is an amazing nail tech! She pays great attention to detail, fixes whatever shaping issue you might have before she applies polish (and shes happy to do it), is extremely sanitary, ALWAYS on time and a true joy to spend time with. Also, first timers get a free nail art! How fun is that? A ton! Shes been doing nails for 30+ years and it shows as shes a true proffesional. Oh! And shes very affordable! Her quality is 5 star but her pricing is extremely competitive. Shes located inside of a hair salon next door to Safeway on West College, NOT inside of the nail salon a few doors down, but they wont tell you that so be aware. In the last 3 years Ive been looking for a nail tech exactly like her and was ready to just file my nails down out of frustration from going to other nail techs. Thankfully I found Susan in the nick of time. My nails have never looked better!

Ash This was a bummer, Id gone maybe 4 times to this spot. The first time I was super happy, loved both my manicure and pedicure. The massage part of my pedicure was great. The second time I had a different lady and was happy with my pedicure, but my manicure felt rushed and my nail thickness was inconsistent. The next trip was the same, happy with my pedicure just ok with manicure. This last trip was my last one. The pictures speak for themselves if you know nails. These are thick, bubbly, bumpy, werent cured correctly and frankly embarrassing. They put foil on my nails for the entire length of my pedicure, hurt my toes, then my manicure was a rushed multiple person job resulting in this. I was unhappy with the thumbs but the rest of the nails didnt seem that bad until today. I wouldnt be comfortable giving them the opportunity to fix these.

Chase Francisco PLEASE GO HERE!! They did amazing work. Ive never been this happy and satisfied with my nails. I will literally never go anywhere else from now on. It was $50 not including tip for a refill, manicure, and 1 nail design on each hand. My friend got a full acrylic set with crystals and they are stunning. Thank you so much Fulton Nails!!!

Christina Bailleul I love this place! My group was visiting from out of town. We dropped in as we were waiting to check into our rental. They took us right away and allowed us to use the party room in the back. Great service! Very good manicures and pedicures. Great atmosphere and cute decorations! Lovely people who made us feel special!

laura serrano The worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. First, getting my nails done was very painful. It was clear the man was in a hurry. He was moving fast, and pressing hard on my nails with his equipment. He was moving so fast, he dropped the nail filer several times, and even accidentally hit my skin. He did say sorry, I will give him that. Then I asked if he was going to clean my cuticles, which he told me no and that they charge extra for that. This is NO where mentioned on their site. I even told him that the last time I got my nails done there, the lady cleaned them. And he told me “No they didn’t. I am the owner.” So it was even more shocking that the owner would provide this type of service to his customers.especially since the entire time I started getting my nails done, I felt uncomfortable and was considering talking to someone after he was done, but finding out he was the owner I felt it was pointless. I also asked if he could clean the bottom of my nails because there was so much residue and glue stuck underneath, he almost didn’t and told me that I need to wash my hands after for that. But he did end up filing them down a bit. I still have so much glue stuck on the bottom of my nails , and I can feel it on my skin. Also the bottom of my nails look horrible as you can see in the pics. I am sad because I have been going to this place for years, and I will probably never go back. Ohh, and before I forget. When he was shaping my nails I asked him kindly to smooth out the sides of my nails bc I didn’t want them to be pointy and he got frustrated and instead of just fixing them, he said “you said you wanted square.”which he is not wrong, but I did ask for smooth edges on the sides from the beginning. And this was only after he was done filing the first hand, it wasn’t like he had moved on to the next phase of my manicure.

cristina mckenzie It had been a while since I have been to this salon. I used to go with my mom when she lived on this side of town. I got a full set acrylic. The owners wife did my nails and she is great and does a great job. My 2 stars is because while my nails looked great and were shaped amazing the salon is not clean. The nail dust was all over the place and looked like it had been there for weeks. Its everywhere. I am not a clean neat freak sparkly shine person by any means but this was just too much for me. The place in general wasnt clean. I dont remember it being that way previously. I wish it were different because I loved my nails but not enough to go there again. The price was on par with other salons for the quality.

Hannah Darrow Amy and her daughter Ivy are always such a delight! They both made me feel so spoiled and special when I came in for my mani/pedi today. I got this GORGEOUS acrylic set as a treat from my husband before shoulder surgery next week and I feel like a pink chrome princess. Amy is a true artist with her attention to detail and creative skills and can execute so many different styles and designs. This is absolutely my favorite nail salon and is a precious hidden gem in Santa Rosa.

vivian celest I recently visited this nail shop “Princess Nails” in hopes of treating myself to a birthday gift. However, my experience was marred by the horrible customer service I received. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a cold and unwelcoming attitude from the staff. And then another woman, who’s gaslighting me into service I did not ask for. To make matters worse, the technician who was supposed to complete the job was unprofessional and failed to deliver. I told her the acyrclic nail was cut too short, that it’s literally shorter than my real nails. She then gets mad proceeds you try and yank the glued in acrylic nail and I then tell her “you know what, I’ll just leave.” She gaslights me, pretends to act friendly, but the damage was done. She was rude from the start, just playing up a persona of an actual caring nail tech. No wonder I saw Barley anyone inside! Save yourself the trouble do NOT come to your his mail shop. She will not do what you ask, make snarky remarks and gas light you.

Lucia Gama Just wanted to share an honest review. They were super nice to take a walk in, and they were super nice the whole time. But overall, if I wanted my nails to look like a child painted them, I would’ve done it myself. Doesn’t seem like much care was taken with my cuticles, and the nail polish is super uneven. On some of my nails the polish is up on my cuticles. It being gel polish, i can’t just fix it myself. Had the manicure Saturday, photos are from Sunday. So no nail growth shown.

Keegan Smith I always get the orange peel pedicure here and it’s a great value for the price, at $55 you get hot stones, paraffin wax, a 15 minute massage, and polish as well as the normal pedicure things. I have never got a manicure here, and haven’t heard much about them.

A Gutierrez Today I came into the salon last minute wanting a full set, they took me right away even though they were closing in 45 minutes. Let me say, Tanya is absolutely amazing. I told her the idea I was going for and she gave me so many different recommendations, took the time to show me a basic idea of how it would look on her own nail. She was super sweet, didn’t rush me or doing my nails one bit. She took her time which to me is really important. I totally recommend her and this nail salon, great customer service, and sooooo many different colors to choose from matte & normal.

Christina LeMieux I have been getting mani pedis here for over 2 years so far, with occasional sculpture gels for vacay. The salon is super clean and all the techs are friendly and skilled. Ask for Lisa, she is a total perfectionist!

Harper M Horrible! If catfishing was a nail place this would be it! Overall environment was extremely stressful , lots of yelling and rushing around. They were cleaning an hour before closing while customers were inside. Mopping around our feet as we received the service. Got a gel manicure, in hopes of receiving a design on ONE finger. The solid color of the gel manicure was okay, but the design was horrible and in no way what I wanted. If you cannot do designs just say that! I’ve attached a picture of my nails (grey) and the design I wanted . This was up-charged 15$ as-well, for one finger! They made fun of my request and made countless comments about my nail size . They include a “shoulder massage” at the end ; to which she basically wiped lotion all over my shirt. Horrible experience and in no way with 60$ DON’T GO HERE! A 4.1 as seen here is not accurate, look to yelp! 2.5 is much more appropriate.

Alana Truby Transparently I am not someone whom makes negative reviews and I typically would have moved on but I am doing so to let others know. This salon is very busy, and it seems like it was a mistake but how it was handled is why I am making this review. I called in advance and wanted to make an appointment for a gel manicure and gel pedicure. There seemed to be miscommunication on their end that I just stated a pedicure so when I got there I let them know I was expecting both. They stated from the start no you did not. I said verbatim I mean I believe I did but if not it’s okay like I don’t need to be seen. They said go ahead and have a seat and we will see if we can do your manicure as well. I should’ve known but I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt and that’s on my part. However when I say I was sat and then had a first woman whom was polite start my nails by soaking and starting to remove my dead cuticle. After that she handed me over to another woman named Mary whom was also kind. However after that they just started painting my feet. No scrub, No callesus removed, I think Mary began to notice I was frustrated because I just changed my color to white after I realized I was not getting the full service I was paying for. She was attentive so I wanted to state it’s not on her. But it isn’t right when someone’s paying $50 dollars for a service to have their feet put in just water and then painted. I just stated I would pay for my service and go and thanked her. Then I did bring it to the attention at the woman at the front. She tried stating It was only a 5 minute massage?? I didn’t even receive a massage and honestly didn’t care. I just wanted to atleast have my feet scrubbed for a moment. I explained it was frustrating cause i did make an appointment she said well i misheard you i stated that’s fine mistakes happen but It wasn’t a full service and she said okay we’ll gel is $50 so I just paid it and left. not to also mentioned they offered drinks to every single individual including walk ins next to me and not me once but whatever that’s not even part of it. it just made me feel extremely bad about myself and sad when i was being nothing but quiet and polite. So I wanted to state for others if your looking to go in make sure they actually have time for you and to be attentive to you. I honestly left on the verge of tears because I tried to be so polite and understanding only to leave with loosing money for a full service I didn’t get. I encourage others to hopefully speak up more or just walk out if they arent. They are well aware I left upset and I still said thank you so many many times.

Karen Latiker I’ve been a fan and faithful customer since day one. I am always well cared for and leave feeling pampered. I have ingrown toe nails and most nail technicians at other salons just provide the cosmetic effects of a pedicure but at zen, they know what they are doing and provide great care for my nails and have prevented me from needing intervention from a podiatrist.

Nancy Jones Had a 530 appointment time sounded nice on the phone. What a waste of time..first time ..went to walk in and the lady had 3 big chow dogs in her establishment.. not service dogs! How disgusting so I asked are the dogs leaving. She told me no then I asked if she was the owner she said yes and a asked her to cancel my appointment..Im highly allergic to dogs and cats love them but your breaking state law codes and waisted my time.

Angelica Gonzalez The two women that run the front desk, Helen and Rachel are incredibly RUDE. We booked a party of 10 for a wedding. Two of the girls were running late and both Helen and Rachel came to reprimand our entire party for the tardiness and to tell us the bride had to pay for the services regardless. The bride agreed to pay. Helen was asked to stop yelling and that only escalated the situation and she asked us all to leave in the middle of service. The rest of her employees who were working on our bridal party were very kind and kept apologizing for them. It seems that these two women who run the shop intimidate and scare their own employees. You could hear a pin drop. Ann, who did my pedicure was incredibly sweet and apologized for the experience. It wasn’t her fault and I made sure to tip her cash and made sure that tip went 100% to her. Hope those employees find better people to work for. Helen and Rachel definitely should not be in customer service. They should be embarrassed by how RUDE and HOSTILE they treat their clients.

Natalie Levy LOVE getting my nails done by IVY! I’ve been seeing her for almost 2 years now. She is simply the best. She is a perfectionist and very patient. My nails always look amazing thanks to her! Never a time where I am disappointed with my nails. She is also great at designs, comes out better than the inspiration picture!

Nicole Cuevas Priced well for the quality you get. The nail technician who worked on mine was very precise and thorough with her work. She took her time making sure the shape was consistent, and was very attentive to me and my requests. I was originally going to only get one tone, but then she offered me the option of a glitter ombre, and for 5$ more how can i say no? It was the perfect little touch. I opted for cuticle upwards ombre as supposed to the usual tip downwards. I’d suggest making an appointment, and hopefully tipping them well:) theyre all nice people

Joan Wanjau I got my nails taken off here back in Feb. I was debating whether to write this review, since I usually don’t want to knock small businesses from natural mistakes. However, the amount of pain my nails went through is worth sharing to others about their nail remove service. I went in to get my Gel-X nails taken off, over communicated to the nail tech that a lot of places I called don’t have the resources to do this service. They assured me that they do it all the time. The older lady did this service and was heavy handed with the tool …to the point of pain. I felt heat burning through the layers of my nails and told her that it hurts. She adjusted the speed and it got better until it didn’t. I felt this in all my nails. I had to get somewhere so I couldn’t talk to a manager. I highly recommend to avoid this place until they get better. It’s been 2.5 months since the service and I had to regrow my entire nails and they’re still not ready for a new service yet. Such a bummer. I reached out to my trusted nail tech in Oakland and she guided me on the process of healing my nails and warned me about possible infection. It’s so disheartening to have this impression with a new tech. Please be more gentle and learn more about nail integrity. Last picture is what my nails look like now. **my pinky got the most damaged Edit 1 (09/19/2024): I moved back to town 9 months ago, and it took me that long to finally find a nail salon comparable to my longtime tech in Oakland. After doing tons of research and asking around, I found that many people struggle to find a salon that can remove gel/extensions without harming the nails. I tried Santa Rosa Nails and Shiloh Nails in Windsor, but they didn’t meet this standard. But I finally found a place that does! Salon: Pretty Nails Location: 1004 Hopper Ave, Santa Rosa, CA They’re under new management, and their team is amazing! I personally go to Ken, as he came highly recommended, and I wasn’t willing to risk another bad experience in Sonoma County. I may try other techs down the line, but for now, Ken’s my go-to. I’ll post pictures of my gel builder removal and my nails after getting T.A.P. (hard gel) applications. I left completely satisfied and relieved to have found my new nail spot. This was 7 months after my experience at Santa Nail Salon, and my nails now reflect what proper care and experience look like.

Megan Szewczyk Had a decent gel pedicure. Also had dip nails done which was awful. Ive never had a tech use only one drill bit (the sandpaper one) which chewed up my cuticles bad. They bled awfully and two nails are already badly chipped. I just got them done not even 2 hours ago. Photos attached. NOT worth $90. I need my hands looking 100% professional for work at all times and this will just not work. Edit: Just going about my work day and more nails keep chipping. 4 hours post manicure. Have called the salon to report the issue and requested a refund as I am just visiting the area for work. Manager is supposed to give me a call back. Edit 2: Work circumstances left me here another day. Went back for them to fix my nails. The guy that works there did a great job of removing the old stuff and he was very gentle and precise. Another lady...presuming the owner... took over and finished them up. Overall they look much better. The woman who took over knew about the issue already and who did my nails yesterday... hoping that they provide her with more training so that this doesnt keep happening. Ive noticed several other reviews with cut up fingers. Edit 3: not even three days after getting my nails fixed they are breaking and cracked up again. I get my nails done every two weeks at locations around the country and I havent run into this issue yet.... Edit 4 on 9/16/2024. Owner finally replied to this review this morning asking me to call them. So I did. Rep was confused so I explained the situation. She said she would call me right back. Havent heard anything and owner removed their response. Also attaching a photo of the license to this salon in case anybody needs information from it to file a complaint with the board of cosmetology (as I did 6 months ago).

Thank You Nice interior, very nice people, very good English, great location. Not busy, quite relaxing. Gel manicure, nails were soaked & cuticles clipped, but technician forgot to file my nails, so I had to do afterwards & it chipped the polish (lost 1 star for missing this basic service). Pedicure was good though lost top coat lustre after a few days. Chairs recline & massage back, but foot bath does NOT have bubbles. 2 x large screen TVs play zenful videos. Sterilized equipment used. I will give a second chance & return.

What really stood out was their incredible attention to detail. As someone who is very detail-oriented, I was so impressed with how my nail tech checked in with me at every step to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. I got a Gel X manicure, and it turned out stunning. My nails look so natural and flawless, exactly how I envisioned them. The precision and skill of the nail tech were unmatched. Every cuticle, every nail shape, and every polish stroke was done with such care and expertise. I felt completely taken care of throughout the entire experience. If you’re looking for a salon that combines top-tier skills with phenomenal service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Guapely Absolutely horrible experience and horrible customer service, Helen quoted my partner 65$ for a pedicure and manicure and charged us 90$. She not only misquoted us but also cut my partner. Upon speaking to Helen concerning why she was over charging us she stated they charge 30$ service fee for removing nail polish and will offer a discount next time. I will NEVER bring my partner here or anyone in my family.ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE BE AWARE BEFORE ENTERING

Jacqueline Diaz I recently visited this salon for a manicure and pedicure, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I specifically requested regular polish for my toes and gel for my nails, and despite repeatedly confirming this, the staff kept pushing for gel on my toes. After much insistence, Helen agreed to charge me the same price for regular polish, stating it was a first-time discount. I thought that was fair, so I agreed. However, when it came time to pay, I was quoted $90 for the services. I reminded Helen of what she had said, but she insisted the price would be the same as gel polish. To make matters worse, my sister, who’s been a loyal customer for years, only pays $65 for the same services. To top it all off, I was cut during the process, and my nails turned out absolutely horrendous. Overall, the service was disappointing, and I would not recommend this salon to others. Its hard to feel valued when youre charged inconsistently, given poor service, and leave with a bad result.

Kyra Lefferts Best nail salon in town! I hadn’t had acrylics in years and decided to come here after being recommended by a good friend. These are the strongest and best looking acrylic nails I have ever had! They last 3+ weeks with no chips and the women that work there are the absolute best. They are 5 sisters who are all kind, professional, accommodating, and funny! And of course, they are all fantastic nail technicians. Extra discount if you pay cash, too. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Aubrie Hill I went here with a friend for my birthday. They were terrible. Not a nail “spa”. More like a rushing nail express. We made a reservation, got there on time, and they were not wanting us to sit together at first. I corrected that. Then they literally wouldn’t give us a moment to pick out what color we wanted. Kept demanding us to give them our hand. Then they may have filed our nails but didn’t even make it a nice manicure. Painted our nails and done. It was terrible. Waste of time and money, especially for my birthday. WASTE.

Cecilia Valdovinos I love going here to get my nails done. Ive had a gel pedicure and a full set done and I have been extremely satisfied each time. Ann recently did my acrylic full set and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Shes gentle and pays attention to detail. The salon is family owned, and all the ladies are so nice. They keep the salon clean, and they use disposable covers for the foot spa. They accept Visa, but they give you 10% off if you use cash. Their services are fairly priced. I will continue to come here for my nails!

Janis McCarter I have been coming here for a long time. I get my nails done every two weeks with acrylic and Wendy always does a wonderful job. My husband and I have been coming here for over 20 plus years for at least once a month getting pedicures and always had a great experience. I will always give this place a five star. I will continue to come here for all my needs, and will highly recommend this place to anyone for all there needs.

Victoria Iniguez My little sister went in today and had a very disappointing experience. She brought in an inspiration picture, hoping to get a similar design, but what she received was no where near what she wanted. The nails looked nothing like the photo she showed them. The quality of the work was subpar, and the staff seemed rushed and inattentive to my requests. She left feeling very unhappy with her nails and the overall service. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality and attention to detail. Pictures are included below of what she asked for and what she got. Calico McKelvey The first time I went to Wendy was 20 years ago. I have since moved all over and back many years ago. I have tried many many nail places and 20 years later Wendy is still the best. I always get my nails long and bring her designs and she never disappoints. The price is a great value and she is kind and very talented in her craft. I highly recommend her. She sits in the first chair.

DJ Jones I’ve been all over Santa Rosa and finally found my place. I’ve been coming here for the past several months and my nails are the best they’ve ever been. Tan is amazing and I always walk away feeling so happy.

Abigail Sandberg I asked for a manicure and just wanted natural nails, she proceeded to give me gel nails and didn’t listen when I said I didn’t want that. Then she reassured me she wouldn’t charge me to take the nails off. I come back in to get the nails removed and she tried to charge me for the removal and didn’t even use acetone to remove just tried to pry them off? It hurt and I left before she finished the first nail, pretty disappointed.

Lydia West I had never been here before. I just moved here from San Diego and was looking for a place who can do a pedicure. I found this place! It is clean & sanitary. They comply with all the covid 19 CDC recommendations. The staff is exceptional and friendly. They enjoy their work and make you feel number one. I have since been back and received another pedicure. This is my place from now on.

Sharon Secret I purchased a $40 gift certificate on Valentines Day for my husband to get a pedicure and he went to use it today and since his daughter was in town visiting he decided to take his daughter with him to get her nails done. She didn’t get a manicure of any kind… only got gel polish on her natural nails and he was charged $40! I think that is absolutely insane for just polish… no manicure, no soaking, no buffing, no hand massage… just polish. How do you charge the same amount for polish as you do for a full pedicure This is sad because it is close to our home but we will not be back. I get my nails done every couple weeks and have never been charged such an outrageous price…. For A POLISH JOB! Also the polish job wasn’t even very good… had streaks and bumps. Will be spending our money elsewhere from now on.

M L Please clean your tools and stations. I sat in the back at the table by the back door for a fill. The girls station was disgusting. The tools looked dusty and clearly not sanitized since their last use. The sanding sponges were gross and the ultraviolet light had nail polish all over it. Even the lamp was filthy, I do not want to catch anything so choosing a more hygienic salon from now on. Clean your tools people, there is no excuse! If you are the owner of this salon, go look for yourself at that back station.

Angie Aviles Expensive and horrible. I got Gel manicure in a natural tone. They don’t cover your nails very well so it looks like a week oldish or more bad manicure. I asked for square shape and I’m not sure what shape I got but it isn’t very polished. I asked for just the shape as my nails were not that long, the girl cut them even shorter. Def not worth the price. DON’T COME HERE!!! The picture is after I removed the remaining cuticle the girl didn’t remove. Bad experience. I won’t be coming back here ever!!!!

Jay Ponce First and last time going to Red nails. I set an appointment for 1 and Nancy didn’t start till 1:45. I ask for black French tips and the initial A on my ring finger and she said it would cost $55, okay cool. She took 2 1/2 hours doing my nails and then said she won’t have time for the initial, I said it was fine because I was already in a hurry and customers were waiting for her. I then go to pay and she charges me $65 and ask for a cash tip, my nails hurt, they look bumpy and uneven. I am very disappointed she was rude and constantly on her phone so she wouldn’t listen when I asked her if she could fix my nails. DO NOT COME HERE!

Norman Howard Reasonably priced mani-pedi. Plenty of chairs and technicians. Friendly, non-English speakers with some helpful managers for explanations. Had single toe painted with nail art which came out pretty good.

B T I usually have a pretty good experience here and it’s been my go to for a few years now! They recently got new chairs and up lifted the place a bit! Last time I was there Tee did my gel manicure and they have not chipped at all!

Teresa Branter I have been going to this nail salon on as a drop in for over 10 years. The service that I was given today has made me decide to never go again. They said come back we are busy.. I went away and did come back. The woman who did my pedicure was talking on her phone the whole time to someone else. So she didnt hear me when I asked her to cut my nails shorter. I was just left in the chair for my nails to dry. She went on to help other customers, never came back to help me. There was no trash can available to throw away the paper between my toes. And I was snapped at when I was unable to hear the cashier under her mask. I guess they are to busy to handle anything other than appointments. So dont walk in and expect your money entitles you to kind service.

Sahar Sina I have came here a few times since it’s right next to my work. It’s very convenient for me. Today i had a regular pedicure the last time i came i had a gel color change manicure. They did a great job and spent quality time i appreciate it.

Kelley Bloomquist So, I’ve gone to a lot of places to get a pedicure, I have very sensitive feet and can’t handle a massage. I’ve told many places please don’t and they still do, however this place listens to your needs. I’m very specific about my feet and they listen to what you want. I’m always happy and they are a fair price. I’ve been to other places and have been charged a ton. But this place is very fair, I’ve been happy every time I’ve gone here:)

Holly C This is my go to spot. They usually have space but do get busy at times so its a good idea to call ahead. I bring my daughter sometimes and they are really nice and gentle with her. The two gentlemen that work there give the best pedicures and foot massages. I do wish theyd get rid of the covid era plastic shields since they kind of get in the way.

This is a really busy place and they are always looking for help but the core people are amazing. Yes if I make an appointment sometimes I wait if a walk-in comes in. Yes sometimes I’m being worked on and my beautiful lady stops to help someone else. This is called a business and they’re trying to help as many people as possible. I’m happy to wait as long as possible for Kim to do my nails. She’s amazing. Even when she hurts her back and can barely walk she’s there. She’s the one always answering the phones and still slaying a perfect straight line. Tony is without a doubt one of the most kind people I’ve ever seen and for some reason rude customers like to mess with him and I don’t think it’s OK. He’s super nice to everyone, even when a rude customer is being evil.

I’m new to Santa Rosa and have had terrible luck finding a shop that has great product and lasts like my old shop. So I immediately get sat down by the lady in the very back row far left (station next to the sink) I show her a picture of what I was aiming for AND the shape. When I say I wanted these guys SHARP, I meant lethal sharp, she told me she doesn’t do that but can do similar. I told her as long as they aren’t almond shape point. I trusted her process as it’s a new shop. The design ended up cute but WAY different than what I wanted, no big deal. Well here we are, Wednesday and more than half my nails POPPED off. No rips, no tears, no breakage, just flat out popped off. I go in today (Wednesday) because I’ve been at work yesterday and today was my early day and the same lady tries to tell me “I don’t give money back, I wasted 2 hours on your nails, this isn’t my fault” I’m sorry but I didn’t spend $85+tip and then go home and pop these off. Why would I do that? So then she stomps back to her station bad mouthing me to the shop and the guy at the register says “we can only refund $60 since you came in today and not Monday” no sir, I had WORK. You should refund me the full $85 since I now have to sit in someone else’s chair, have them remove the remaining nails and start a whole new set. End of the story I got my $85 back but to think I really thought they would be apologetic due to THEIR mess up. Buyer beware, if you’re new, don’t go here.!.

Deb I can’t believe I paid money for this—I went for a pedicure and now I have a bloody and bruised toe. Everything was rough and painful. Even when reacting in pain, the technician did not apologize to me or try to be gentler. I won’t be back.

Kimberly Powell I had great hopes for this nail salon for the prime location and the serene decor, however, my experience there has been from average to atrocious. The staff has 1-2 good nail clinicians, the rest being mediocre. When you arrive, no one comes to the desk; usually you arent even acknowledged. There is little to no friendly communications with you during your treatment and of course, like most Vietnamese run nail salons, they rudely speak Vietnamese in your presence. ( Call me crazy, but if you choose to live in America and do business in America, you should be speaking the chosen American language.) Then there is the waste of time making an appointment because they do not honor appointment times. I recently gave a myRide to a senior who had an appointment at 11:00am with a specific clinician. We were on time. We were not received/acknoledged. I routed out her clinician who was otherwise engaged with another client. We were assured she would be completed in 45 minutes. I returned to pick up my ride and found my senior had not even been started (now 1.5 hrs. after her appt time). and another dropin duo had been taken before my senior. I questioned what was going on and her clinician scurried to start her and said my senior would be done in 10 minutes. ( How on earth can a fill be done in 10 minutes? ) I again returned to PU my senior and she informed me that once I had left her last, her appointed clinician had stepped aside and another took over. When she questioned what was going on, this clinician stood up, hands on hips and stormed off. All the while, they are 1) speaking Vietnamese , 2) not explaining what was going on to the client, who was very upset and confused by their rude, effortless, disrespectful treatment, and 3) kept claiming that they didnt know what was going on, that the owner makes the schedule and the owner was not available. No clinicians work is worth this treatment especially if seniors who need our love, respect and support.. The ONLY reason I would recommend this establishment to anyone is for their ( part-time at this location) eyebrow tattoo specialist, Lan, because she is truly amazing at what she does, is very sweet, and has excellent client relations. Choose another place for your nails, especially if you are a senior. acknowledgeackack

jt_Bandit_04 The nail tech was a bit to rough when filling my nails with the file and drill, she made me bleed on three fingers, three of my nails aren’t fully covered and still exposed, and on two of them the nails are off centered. To top it off I wanted my tips gloss and the base matte, I’ve said this to the nail tech twice. Before she applied any of the stuff to my nails and before she applied the mail polish to my nails. Even after those two times she still did it the opposite way than asked if this is how I wanted them to be and to be nice I said yes because it was already to late to say no because it was all cured and everything. The price was reasonable though.

Anishma Prasad I had an unpleasant experience when I visited your salon for a manicure on September 14th. I waited for over an hour before the manicurist began working on my nails. He abruptly stopped midway, stating that he was hungry and needed to eat. Surprisingly, he immediately started attending to another client, leaving me confused and disappointed. Like what the heck??? Another manicurist took over, but she seemed rushed and impatient. Unfortunately, she caused some of my fingers to bleed and left the nail polish unevenly applied, with some edges unpainted. The roughness of my nails was also noticeable. I kindly request that you improve your service, especially considering that we pay the full amount for the services provided. If you are unable to provide adequate attention to all clients, it would be better to cater to a smaller number to ensure quality service. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Jova Rivera The lady who usually asked costumers if they made appointments, the lady who’s always in the entrance/cashier area.. all I can say is that she’s very rude and bossy. The way she treat customers look like they are not paying her/them for their job. I like some of their staffs but this one.. I don’t really like her. She did my nails for the first time and it looks horrible. She said the color I like doesn’t match my skin color so when I agreed and look for another color, she was so pissed and you can tell by how she squeezed my hand. Not just that, she was also in hurry to do my nails.. after a day, I observed my gel nail polish started to peel off. I am not going back there again. Not worth it.

Erika Romero Asked for acrylic on my natural nails, she started cutting my natural nails, then she explained she can make the nails on my desire length. I ended up this bumps on all my nails uneven length, but she charged me $55.00, poor service. I do not recommend Elegant Nails anymore.

First off the lady was super ,I mean super rude and very aggressive with my hands the entire time . She did not do as I wanted her to do or had asked for she did Idk what she wanted. When time to pay she charged $65 and I paid with my card that she ran 3 times then told me its not working so I checked online bank and said its there and I asked what is it saying like decline or what error code she said its just working and at this time I get a alert stating $65 was taken I told her this she said NO , NO RECEIPT Not work . And only wanted cash I paid the cash and asked for the receipt and was told no receipt and given a sticky note and thought I will just call back tomorrow and she could see the transaction went through and pay me $65 cash or credit . Oh no i called the next day and was told no transition and to wait a few days to make sure my bank was at fault . So 3 days later i called and was told No transition and I said yes I have the bank statement stating it was paid I was called a liar and hung up on . So long story short bad business and bad nails .

Carol Tait Lori has always provided the highest level of professionalism. Her clealiness is 2nd to none. I always receive compliments on my nails because Lori does an outstanding job. Ive been a client of hers for 20 plus years.
