Shieny M This nice park has plenty of parking spaces, picnic tables and bbq. The scenery is spectacular, especially on the top of the hill. You can see a glimpse of city buildings and wetlands. Not many trees around so it will be quite hot during summer days. Some area looks new, plenty of new baby trees. It would be nice if there’s a sign along the walking path.

Kerbray An interesting park with an off leash dog area. Huge open space with some interest ornaments and sculptures in the park. Pleasant views of the city skyline in the distance and theres plenty of nature and wildlife around the park. The wetlands area can be seen from the hill too. Definitely worth taking the dogs here for a walk.

Milan V. If you enjoy relaxing walks or biking, it is a wonderful place. Kids can run around safely and freely. Wide open space. Good for wildlife photography. You will need to bring some water as there are no drinking fountains around if you choose to walk from Altona. I had a day off, and I walked from Brunswick to Altona Meadows. It was a long walk but it was very enjoyable.

Andy Le Busque Really interesting place. The salt flats are pretty cool

Tony Rae Lovely place to walk and see a wetland and salt marsh with its wildlife. A 1.5 km walk on a wheelchair accessible gravel track from the Car park takes you to the Observation Tower from which there are panoramic views over the salt flats, the wetlands and the surroundings. Over the bay there is an excellent view of central Melbourne with its sky scrapers. Well worth a visit

Rachel Lim Lovely view from the observation tower especially on a sunny day. Theres a carpark right at the entrance to the path towards the tower but it is quite small. There is also a small beach there that also leads to the carpark. Oddly enough spotted two swans there in the ocean.

Michael Webb FANTASTIC PLACE TO GO FOR AOME QUIET RELAXING TIME OR FOR A NICE COUPLES WALK. If you want to escape the busy everyday hussle and bustle this is a quick hideaway where you can take a moment to relax and unwind before getting back to the daily grind. The best part about it all is that Cheetham Wetlands is not far from the Main Street schools shopping centres so if you need a quick getaway to relax this is my Hot tip
