Gunston Rick Destroyed by the new freeway construction. Thousands of mature old trees that don’t impede on the freeway cut down for no reason. It’s been turned into a wasteland. They call it progress. FYI: Attached photos are not of the freeway construction but the park itself away from the freeway.

David Lin Have always been riding my bike passing this awesome reserve. Apparently a private light plane also made an emergency landing there! Not sure if the pilot would pat himself on the back for a technical landing or thank the City of Boroondara for keeping such a space that saved his butt!

Sebastian Thousands upon thousands of trees, kilometres of grassy parkland, bike trails kids rode on the weekends. All destroyed in the wake of car-centric urban expansion. Weve seen the damage this urban planning style has done to the United States and Canada, so why are we following suit and destroying our country as well?

M L Great park tucked in right next to the Eastern Freeway. Lots of trails with nice wildlife to see. Theres also a playground and even a little beach for dogs to swim in. Its definitely worth visiting and has something for most people.

LXD The landscape has significantly eaten up by the North East link project, facilities starts to age as well. When will the state government pay back?

Keith W Its a peaceful, clean well kept park with a great childrens playground, local tennis club, Scout hall, and football club, next to the Australian rules football field.

Nick Iles A few things to climb on including a rope climbing structure, a slide, monkey bars and a wooden camel. Several swings, some seating for parents and a grassed area for running around on as well. Popular with 10 and 7 y.o. If there is a football game on the nearby oval then car parking can be a little difficult.

Rusty Reviews Excellent park with a great playground. Near the playground you’ll find ample parking, shady trees, park benches, picnic tables, bbq’s, and a water drinking fountain. The playground itself looks well maintained, and there is brand new mulch/tan-bark at the moment. Playground has: - flying fox - two separate sets of swings - mini trampoline - playground equipment for kids of all ages

Peter E Smyth Photography Good reasonably open space with trees next to freeway. Undulating fields not level with bike path on edge. Pretty quiet and out of the way.

Sally Graham One year ago "Large leash free park." However since I wrote this review, council has put up a Dog on leash sign. Park is the same, large with nothing in it but grass and trees.

BJ Turner Nice walking track however you will need to share the path with cyclists that is always a safety issue especially when they think they are riding in the tour de France.
