Clare Niemeyer I was SO excited to come here and DROVE 2 HOURS to my appointment only for no one to show up and they ignored all my messages. I’m extremely upset. Is this place a scam? I booked over instagram and received a text confirmation for the Santa Monica location. When I arrived, the door to the building was locked. As I debated on what to do, someone was exiting the building so I got in, found the “room” and the salon was completely dark?? I am so beyond confused. Attaching photos

Faith Kremhelmer Best nail shop around town. I have been searching around for the perfect nail shop in TO / Westlake village area. Upon many residents suggestions, I scheduled services at Noir Nail Bar. Friendly professional owner and nail techs. Esthetically beautiful place. Clean and organized with new state of the art equipment. Well taken care of and comfortable massagers. Relaxing. Great location. Fair prices for such professional work. Such a convenient spot. For sure check this place out at least once to get the experience. I highly recommend them or as a gift to others. Best nail spa in town. Unlike any other local nail place around to be honest. Happy and grateful to have found them.

Бермет Торобекова I heard about Noor Nail Bar through Instagram and decided to give it a try for a special treat. I usually keep my nails simple, but their edible manicure intrigued me. From the moment I walked in, the friendly atmosphere put me at ease. The manicure turned out beautifully, and I loved the way the scent lingered subtly. I got so many compliments on my nails, and they didn’t chip for almost a month! What was supposed to be a one-time treat has now turned into my regular nail spot. Noor Nail Bar just does everything right!

Debi Hemmeter Tina was my nail technician and she was AMAZING. I left LA during the fires for 2 weeks to San Francisco, so my nails were a mess. It felt so good to be back at a familiar place with such a warm and talented technician.

susan king Oh how I love my visits to Miniluxe. Its my Sunday morning splurge - I travel 74 miles round trip to make my appointment and I select an early appointment time. My very favorite Nail Designer is Karyne - I dont want anyone else. The other ladies are great too but shes my fave. Most times its a pedi only but occasionally I add in a mani. I love the experience - the shop is clean, the welcome at the front desk is always nice and they are always on time. My toes end up PERFECTION and I feel so pretty when I walk out. Thanks Miniluxe for the great treatment and products. Did I mention that I LOVE the cuticle oil? That little roller bottle is a fab find and Ive gifted it many times to family and friends. Couldnt live without it now. See you in time for Christmas and New Years! Until then, Im looking good!

Meagan McCall I feel very safe getting my nails done at MiniLuxe because they require masks by all patrons, all the staff wear masks, and they have plastic shields up for when you’re getting a manicure as extra protection. Amy N does the best pedicures; she is very thorough, especially with my broken big toe nails. She’s also very good at knowing when you do verses don’t want to talk. The water is always the perfect temperature, the seats are comfortable (I only wish they had massage chairs!), and the atmosphere is modern chic. They have a wide variety of nail polish colors to choose from, most of which with fun names and golden balls on top. Their performance polish stays on longer than the regular polish but it won’t destroy your nails like gel. I get it on my fingers for special occasions, and I do their signature line for pedicures.

Dominique Schultz Really unhappy with the experience of this place. Paying $100 for 3D Gel Art Nails only to be told they would not be able to do more than basic gel nails. So i picked a simpler design and sadly the nail technician really struggled. It was so bad to the point they did one hand passable and then the next hand was entirely botched. The other technician next to me even felt sorry for me and confirmed it was done poorly. They had to do it all over again so that it would at least match the other hand. The lines on my gel nails were not clean at all, they only massaged one hand/arm, they did not clean up my cuticles hardly at all. A clearly inexperienced technician who I do not understand why they would let me book an appointment for 3d gel art and they did not even know how to do 3d gel... You really could go anywhere else to pay half the price for basic gel nails and at least the service would be clean and complete. Only come here if you need a simple polish and need something quick. I wish I could get my money back the experience was so bad.

Jill M I really like this place, its clean and the atmosphere is friendly. ...But the tech I had cut me multiple times and did a very poor job at filing consistently and cut the length I wanted. Im not sure I will go back or if I do, I will NOT take the tech who serviced me.

Stephanie Willsey I love this salon. It’s always so clean and peaceful here and the staff is so friendly and talented. The owner, Moon, Is a fantastic business woman who cares deeply about customer service not to mention an incredible nail artist in her own right. I’ve been coming to this place since they opened and I’m always so grateful that I found someplace that takes such good care of my nail health. I get hard gel or gel extensions here and they take such care to protect your nailbeds and even help you grow out your natural nails. I’ve been to a lot of other nail salons in Santa Monica and this is absolutely by far the best if you want long nails with beautiful nail art that doesn’t destroy your natural nail. I would always recommend getting gel over regular polish. I feel like regular polish has had a lot of formula changes in the last decade and it just doesn’t stay no matter where you go. The gel polish I get here lasts beautifully, longer even than the recommended three-four weeks. so glad i found this place!!

Natalie Baron ASK FOR ANGIE! She is incredibly talented, kind, and takes her time. These are the best nails Ive ever had, I was so impressed I couldnt believe my eyes. She did exactly what I asked for from my reference picture and made sure each nail was shaped perfectly. We did builder gel and an airbrush aura design. I will definitely be coming back because Angie slayed!! Thanks girl!

Sydney Marion Obsessed with this place! I used to go to Violet at her last shop and so happy she’s teamed up with some awesome people at this shop now. They have the best pedicure chairs with massagers / jets. Violet and Moon and the team are all amazing and I won’t go anywhere else!

Emily Hsiung I live in Santa Monica and this is my go to nail salon! I’ve gotten a variety of pedicures and manicures and love the attention to detail that Angie has. My nails last for weeks and I come back about once a month for more builder gel/gel x, which helps me grow out my natural nails. Very high quality work!

Cori McGinn Recent discovery for me but super impressed so far. I just tried gelx extensions and both times they have been so sturdy and it’s great knowing the salon has a warranty period. Everything is clean and scheduling is easy. Kevin did an amazing job with my recent nails and all freehand. Will be back many more times!

Sunny Hess This place is definitely my go to! Everyone is always so friendly and Tammy is the best! She is quick yet so efficient. I’m a nurse so I destroy my nails often and need 1-2 nails of acrylic. I get dip and sometimes acrylic yet I’m usually in and out within 30 minutes! And she is the queen of color matching. You show her a picture and boom, she knows exactly which nail color to grab. Def check this spot out if you need a new nail girl!

Emily Roche Such a beautiful experience 10/20 everyone! I love my gals, they always squeeze me in even if it’s super busy. My gel polish lasts longer than anywhere I’ve ever gone! If I ever chip or break a nail they are so helpful and fix so quickly! Cannot recommend this cute little nail spot enough! It’s my go-to, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Also bring cash :)

Kira Drayton I absolutely love this salon. I have been going here for about a year now and they never fail. Everyone is always kind and friendly and welcoming. Tiffany has helped my nails grow so long and healthy. I’ve never maintained my nails before I started coming here. SOOOO grateful for main attraction spa. Update 10/17/24 Tiffany has done it again with my halloween nails!!! My absolute favorite of this year so far. Please if you’ve never been here, add this spa to your routine. I can never go anywhere else.

emily andrews I’ve been in LA for about four years and this is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Hana Kills any French tip. They’re all so nice and make me feel so welcomed, unlike some nail salons. And they do all the needed prep for your nails to make you have a good manicure. They always take their time and they’re all Perfectionists.

Mai Perches I’ve been coming here for years. Tammy is great! She’s who I go to for all things gel, gel x, and have also done dip but everyone there is nice and they are a great spot for drop ins too but I recommend making an appointment in advance if you want to see a specific person.

Brigitte Belov Every time I come here my experience is 10/10. I have been to all the best rated nail salons in the Santa Monica area (including the Russian ones) and Montana Nails is the best by far. Everything is new, clean, and super aesthetic. And all the staff are super friendly and accommodating every time. Linda always does my gel builder manicure and she is truly the best! I am very particular about what I like - I require it to be very natural with a stiletto shape. She’s always consistent and really pays attention to detail to make sure I get exactly what I want. Joe did my gel pedicure and he was also amazing! He really took his time when cleaning out my ingrown nails and it turned out to be the best pedicure I’ve ever had. Getting my nails done used to be a stressful experience whenever I went anywhere else, but I know that when I come to Montana Nails I can really relax and enjoy myself ☺️

Jennifer Stein The experience was amazing and the results were even better! I did not make an appointment and I was taken immediately. Carol was my nail tech and she did such a great job. They have complimentary wine, champagne, and tea. I got a dip manicure with extra length and it was only $65 without tip. Great experience will definitely be back again!

Sally Landau I’ve gone to Montana Nails for years, and I want to commend the owner for his attention to detail and service at their new location (Lincoln/Montana in Santa Monica). The decor is beautiful and the massage chairs we get to enjoy during pedicures are divine. Today I noticed the comfy pillows in those chairs. See the photo below. My name is spelled Sally, but very accepting of this surprising version of tge one awaiting me and thanked the owner for even better service than usual! I managed to snap a photo of some chairs that were momentarily empty. And it was fortuitous, because a few minutes later, customers sat in each awaiting their pedis.

Maria Ochoa $125 - ocean gel mani and pedi. They accept walk ins which is huge for this busy mama! Service was so, so for what you pay. Only feedback is no one offered me anything to drink and host wasn’t very friendly; hence the 4 stars. I really wanted to love it since they are walking distance to home. Update: day after and two nails already chipped at the tip. As you can see, the cuticles also not cut down properly. My experience is definitely way different than most on here. Possibly because I was a walk in?

Valerie Salazar I needed gel X nails done last minute on a Sunday. Ann answered my call and kindly told me to come into the salon. She did excellent, thorough and clean work on my nails. I usually go to MOI nails on Washington but have been experiencing a lack of service. So I wanted to give another salon a shot! Im so happy that I did. Conversation was good, and even got a small hand massage afterwards. I’ll definitely be back and definitely recommend Cute Nails!

Andrea Mihic This place is the absolute best. Anne and all the girls always do such a wonderful job. On this occasion in particular … they squeezed me in late night at my request and then I wanted to use my own color… which ended up having the weirdest chemical reaction and turned black (from red) once dry. This happened after the job was completely finished (Ann had done an amazing job), the salon had been empty for 30 min and they were already supposed to be closed and clearly this was my fault and an issue with my polish color - but Anne as an absolute matter of course just went ahead and took the entire polish off and redid everything with one of their colors (which she had told me I should do to start!). The entire time she was completely apologetic this was happening - when it was completely my fault! The entire time she was so nice about it and just focused on fixing it, not complaining at all that it was super after hours and she was redoing everything. And then in the end she even let me sit as long as I wanted to let it dry - AND then she walked me to my car and opened the door so I wouldn’t smudge the color. I am blown away, best nail service experience ever. And the nails came out so beautiful she did an amazing job (twice!! :)). Thank you Ann - excited to make this my go-to nail place!!

Natalie India Balmain These guys are super lovely! They saw me straight away as a walk-in, took all the old builder gel off my nails and started afresh with new tips. They were super quick, had a beautiful range of colours and my nails look stunning!! Definitely worth a visit!

Masha Kaznachey Best nail place in Santa Monica / WLA and maybe even in all of LA. Anna is the one to see, but there are other experts as well so don’t be shy. Vivian does a great job and has made me feel comfortable getting gel again after having it removed incorrectly somewhere else before, which left my nails damaged. But Vivian is really careful with the prepping and removal process, and makes my natural nails look amazing!

Elise Piatkowski The best mani/pedi in Santa Monica! I tried many different nail salons when I moved here 4 years ago and once I found Tina & Donna at Lily’s nails I never went anywhere else. They pay so much attention to detail and my mani/pedis are always super long lasting. The salon is always very clean and the pedi chairs are comfy. This is a female and family run business that deserves all the praise and support. They work SO incredibly hard and their service is top notch. Tina’s manicures are the best I’ve ever had.

Grace Chan Ng Ugly thick nails and overall sloppy. The nail tech trimmed my nails wayy too short and made them all different lengths after growing them out :( Unfriendly service as well. I spoke to Kyle at the front desk about my chipped index finger, bleeding nail, and glue everywhere, to which he responded was normal, and proceeded to challenge if Id ever gotten dip before. Zero accommodation and very unfriendly service. Seems like they prioritize efficiency and high paying customers with designs. Disappointed

Guisou Akhavan UPDATE: I went with my partner when I got this service, it was at your salon. Do Not try and deflect and say it must have been another place. My nail beds are damaged now because of your services. I’ve been here before for a regular gel mani and was fine with the service but this time I came in for a gel x fill and ended up with very thick and painful nails. The nail tech also filed my nails to the point I felt heat and pain but was told I was being “too stiff”. Additionally it was a bit of a sloppy job and my nails are so thick and he over filed the edges so my natural nail bed is exposed. Furthermore he used the drill bit and I’m pretty sure I now have the ring of fire around the base of my nails. Very disappointing, given that the service left my nails in worse condition than when I came in.

Michael Linda Im a nail biter and decided to get acrylics to help me to quit. I scheduled an appointment and the lady I saw was very gentle with my nails. Theyve lasted me 3 weeks so far. Im definitely coming back.

Caroline When I visited CA 3 years ago, I went to Tips Toes on a whim and Darren gave me beautiful nails! This time around, I got a manicure from another place in my hometown before traveling to CA for my sister’s wedding. Well, I absolutely hated the nails I got!! Super bulky and misshapen. I remembered how beautiful my nails were last time I went to Tips Toes and called Darren hoping that he had last minute availability. He took me in right away and as expected, gave me a fresh set of GORGEOUS nails!! The designs came out exactlyyy like my reference photos. He does amazing work and is very kind and charismatic. I wish I lived in CA so I could go to him every single time! These nails are wedding ready :))

Stephanie Britt I was a loyal client for many years but finally realized they did not value me as a client or my time. I always booked my appointments to secure my time slot. Edmund & Amanda always prioritized walk-ins & would move my appointments or leave me there hanging way past my scheduled time. The work is subpar - I continued going here out of convenience and I wanted to support this business. After being ignored, not valued & recently a badly done pedicure - I’ve decided to never return. My nail polish is already raised & peeling off 2 days after…. Forget trying to tell Edmund if you had a bad experience, he will tell you how he reviewed CCTV footage & use it as a way to blame you. Honestly hysterical & completely creepy. After reading other reviews, all the negative are completely true. Much better service elsewhere in the area.

Mimi Majumdar Been here a handful of times. The place + equipment is spotless and the ambience is relaxing. Pedicures are excellent. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Prices are fair. However, manicures leave something to be desired. Got a French manicure a few weeks ago with uneven lines, flecks of white polish on the pink part of the nail, and rushed application of topcoat which led to chipping the day after. Even though I opted for regular polish over gel, usually I can enjoy a minimal chip manicure for a week or so after! Note: I dont like to use the UV fans but I stuck around for 30-45 minutes to let the manicure dry. I chalked it up to an off day and gave Spa de Rejuvenations French manicure another chance yesterday. Application was beautiful + no issues with chipping this time, but my cuticles were mangled. One of my fingers bled and others have been picked apart. I have never left a manicure in pain before!

Bianca Reindell I chose this business because of it’s great reviews. I took a chance and ended up being very upset. I came in for a soak off and was not very happy with the results. I complained to the front desk person and they worked on my nails again. After soaking my hands in an acetone bath I got another job on my nails. They were still not able to remove all the glue. When I was talking to them wondering why they could finish my nails as they looked like before ( I was used to use a buffer and make them shine) they didn’t care. They were just saying I need to pay for an additional manicure which was according to the person who did my nails around $58. I was almost leaving the store and Ed was standing in front of the door keeping me from going outside. My nails are not shaped or even to be close to natural and they still charged me $20. Never again!!!!

makani nalu This couple is so sweet. Its hard for me to find nail salons open after my work hours. I called and they super kindly offered to stay open very close to their closing hours just for me. They gave me their card and told me to text ahead of time if I want to come after hours -that they live close and will try to accommodate me! I plan to continue supporting this couple & local business

Alexandra Archival Tried a new spot based off reviews but I don’t recommend took an hour and a half for a basic manicure and it came out uneven and splotchy. They were really nice but quality of service wasn’t there.

Katie Dunn I really like this nail salon. I came here for the first time because it was convenient (I get my hair done nearby), and the gel manicure lasted nearly 4 weeks, so I have continued coming back. The service is consistent even though I have had a different tech each time. I have also never had a super thick gel mani here, which is an issue Ive had at many other salons. They have a wide variety of regular gel polish, definitely something for everyone. They also have a lot of options for glitter polish which is my favorite, so bonus points there :-). The space itself is relatively basic, but clean. They have a ton of massaging pedicure chairs which are super comfy. Prices are great- $75 for gel mani and regular pedi before tip. They take Venmo and cash. Parking is metered on the street or theres a Santa Monica paid lot between Main St and Nielsen way that is huge. Note that this space is home to two businesses- a hair salon in front and the nail salon in back. You need to walk through the hair salon to get to the nail salon.

Courtney Nunley I’ve gone twice now to get gel x manicures and I loved my experience both times! The colorful ombre nails were done by Rachel and the orange and gold nails were done by Tammy. Both did such a high quality job! I’ve also gone to Leo who did a great job too. I just got the orange and gold ones, but the colorful ombre nails held up really well for a month. I only got them redone because my nails had grown out quite a bit. The salon is clean and well kept. Everybody there is kind and friendly. I felt very welcomed into the space. I’m happy to have found a great salon in the area and I couldn’t recommend Rachel, Tammy, Leo, and the whole salon more.

chen rosen I had an amazing experience at 12twelve Nail Salon in the Marina! The salon is chic and relaxing, and the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. My gel manicure was flawless, with a fantastic selection of colors to choose from. The salon is impeccably clean and follows all safety protocols, making me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend 12twelve for top-quality nail services. I cant wait to return!

Danielle Ochoa I am so unbelievably frustrated! I used to love this place, and my nails would always look perfect, which is why I kept coming back; I’ve even referred multiple people -about 6 of my friends go there regularly because of my recommendation! However, the last time I got my nails done, they were extremely thick. Despite my frustration, they redid my nails and thinned them out, though they couldnt accommodate me until the following week. I appreciated their effort to rectify the situation and decided not to write a bad review because they had usually done my nails well and handled the issue professionally. However, yesterdays experience has pushed me beyond my limit. Getting my nails done is a luxury, and with my hectic schedule, I dont have much time to spend on myself. Its incredibly frustrating to have to keep going back to get my nails fixed. Today, I noticed the top layer of gel had completely peeled off. I didnt touch or pick at it, yet underneath the gel was wet and sticky, as if it hadnt dried properly. My nails look horrible, and Im extremely upset because I spent almost $100, including tip, for a gel fill and expected quality work. I am deeply disappointed because I loved this place, but I can no longer trust them to do my nails correctly. Ive included videos of both situations. I was willing to overlook the thick nails, but after yesterday, I am beyond frustrated. Needless to say, I wont be coming back here. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this has my blood boiling due to the price and inconvenience. They need to understand that not everyone can afford to get their nails done every week, so when we do, its a treat. Its unacceptable for the gel to bubble up and still be wet underneath the next day. I also want to mention that writing this review brings me no pleasure. In fact, it pains me because, as I said, I love this place, which is why I didnt give it just one star. Ive been coming here for a couple of years because they used to be great, and they’re also extremely kind, polite, and the manager is so nice and likable. The salon is beautiful, clean, and has great parking. But these positives dont make up for the poor quality of work. It also saddens me that I now have to find a new place, which we all know can be difficult. Their great qualities dont justify wasting my money on subpar work. I am also the last person who would write a bad review because it feels shameful for me, and I shouldnt have to feel that way. I understand that everyone is struggling and trying to make a living, which makes it all the more horrible for me to do this because its not in my character. But the service has become just that bad.

Gloria Lee The absolute worst. Do not trust these people. I wouldn’t be surprised if a majority of their 5 star reviews are fake reviews. I spent $228 for a gel mani and pedi at 12Twelve Nail Bar in Marina Del Rey yesterday evening at 6pm. This morning I woke up at 9 am to look at my mani and pedi and realized it was already chipped in less than 24 hours.... I had originally wanted a regular nail polish mani pedi but the two nail techs convinced me to do gel and chrome for longevity. I was tricked. The nail techs made my fingernails on my hands pink but they made my toenails nude. Although I asked for the same color on fingernails and toenails multiple times. Theres glitter on the right side fingernails, less glitter on the left side fingernails and no glitter on the toenails. I didnt ask for any glitter !! Also, as you can see its a sloppy job. They dont know how to do a French manicure... one of the simplest designs. I used to do French manicure for myself when I was a teenager... and there was more effort than this.... When I went back this morning to complain at 10 am, the nail shop owner and manager and workers told me these are good quality nails and they did nothing wrong and that THIS is normal. I was gaslighted. Smh. Also the vibes were negative and very bad overall. Although I don’t speak Vietnamese I can tell when the nail techs are being catty gossiping about me. These are a group of sad people I feel sorry for these people. Have some dignity and own up to your mistakes!

Brittany Alter Handed off between 2 techs for a simply dip nail. The nails are so thick they physically ache, approximately 2.25 millimeters thick. More annoyingly, every single nail had cracked and chipped within TWO DAYS. Seriously!?!?!!?!? I treated myself to this nail service after a terrible massage and facial upstairs. I was hopeful to decompress in good hands. Weeeelp, the guy who did my massage (and hurt my neck doing an unconsented neck adjustment (!!!!!)) was also just sitting in the salon waiting for customers. I wonder if any of these folks are even licensed for a specific skill or just employees floating about. I am from Chicago so I cant go back to fix the issues theyve created. After spending just shy of $500 for the crappiest services of my life, I feel scammed. Definitely do not go here.

louise sevilla Had Mani Pedi with Mei today. It was FANTASTIC, exceeded my expectations. Mei is a master of her craft. I am very sensitive and requested a gentle touch. And that’s exactly what I got from Mei. She kept checking in with me to make sure I was ok. I got a gel mani and a regular pedi. Mei did an excellent job of mixing colors for me. The venue is bright, cheerful and meticulously clean. The chairs were heavenly. I’ll be back as well as gifting friends sessions with Mei.

Trini Dillon Always the absolute best time here! Not only are they always kind and hospitable, but extremely talented as well. Cathy knows exactly what she is doing and is very detail oriented. She makes sure everything is to my liking including shape, length, and design and keeps my nails healthy! Kelly is also an amazing tech as well! I will only ever see them for my appointments and always look forward to it!

Zoe Shanks I have been living part time in LA for the past year and had yet to find a good nail spot/person. I read the reviews for Venice Soleil and Mia’s name continuously came up, and for good reason! I had never tried Gel-X before and was nervous, Mia took her time and asked for my opinion from beginning to end to ensure I was happy with the final result. Mia did an amazing job, her attention to detail and friendliness made the experience all worth while. I will definitely be returning! 5 stars for Mia!!!

Bhumika Khona It pains me to say this because I’ve been going here for 2 years with great results, but I think it’s time to say bye to Tiffany Nails. This is a photo of my nails that I got done on Jan 20 and these are my nails today on Jan 21. I’ve done nothing in the meantime except work at my desk, I use gloves to wash dishes and didn’t really do much of anything else to warrant this level of chipping after 1 day. The first offense was actually 2 months ago when I went in for a gel removal and manicure, the man who works there did my nails and only used the electric filer to remove the gel. I’ve never seen this method, it’s always been a soak and then acetone with foil on top. I asked him why he’s doing that and he mumbled something and kept going, I asked again and he literally ignored me. My nails are completely destroyed, they constantly break and peel away. The photo with green nails is what my natural nail length looks like. Now they won’t grow even 1/10 of this without breaking. I don’t think I’ll be able to go back after these two very disappointing experiences. It pains me because the service has always been excellent.

Kiersten Amelino I can’t recommend this nail salon enough! Tiffany is my go-to technician, and she’s truly the best. I’ve tried gel x, hard gel, and regular gel manicures, and I’ve been thrilled with every single one. She always achieves the perfect shape and pays incredible attention to detail. Plus, she’s gentle, making the experience so relaxing. My natural nails have never been stronger! Today, I also had a pedicure with Kay, and she was wonderful! She created acrylic toenails for me and took her time to ensure they looked perfect. If you’re looking for quality work and a fantastic atmosphere, definitely visit Tiffany and Kay. You won’t be disappointed!

Pinar Kermani I gave this place a second, third and even fourth chance because the location is really convenient for me but never again. I really hope the owner sees this. Dear Owner, Please train your staff about customer service. Please ensure your staff does not have attitude. Please also hire competent staff who know how to do a good job (I’d say much more about this but I don’t want to scare people). Also, do you really believe it’s fair to charge extra to buff nails after a customer buys a full mani? I would not have left a review like this if my experience did not get worse and worse each time. I hope you can take this feedback and make some changes. I really wanted this place to be my go to. Oh well…

Kristina DiAngelo Surprised by how busy they were at 10AM. Got an acrylic fill for $50. Another salon nearby charged me $70 so Tiffany’s is definitely more reasonably priced. Was in and out in 45 minutes with beautiful nails. Big win! Will be back. Went back to Lena for Gel-X ombré for a wedding. $85 for the new set.

The shape of my nails did not match, and after I mentioned it several times I could tell she was frustrated and I felt bad, however it was visibly different. It wasn’t until the end when she asked another nail tech for help. The second nail tech (I think it was Lena), filed one hand which was perfect and handed the other hand for my nail tech to finish based on what Lena had done. I think the level of knowledge should be reflected in the pricing. Clients should not have to pay full price for someone “in training”. After this experience I will unfortunately be looking for a new nail salon that pays more attention to detail.

WildwestHONEY • I never feel the need to write bad reviews but my experience here was undeniably awful. all I wanted was acrylic French tips nothing fancy, but somehow the lines turned out horrendously messy and barely straight at all. not to mention the actual acrylic layed was extremely thick and bumpy. I believe the technician that worked on me was new which is fine and all but I was charged 100 for my nails when what I asked for shouldve been max 50 dollars and what I got wasnt even worth 20, I couldnt even at least get my moneys worth by wearing the nails because 3 of the popped off not even a week after I got them done so I had to soak off the rest. I definitely would not recommend this place

Definitely PRICEY but given the amount of time (about 2ish hours) and precision spent by my wonderful artist (Lena was so kind and talented!), I’m hoping my nails last a couple of weeks and the health of my nails will flourish with the method they practice here. Will be back soon! Update 4 weeks later - my first set of nails held up really well. I’m so pleased! Went back in this week and just adore how my nails turned out! Gwen Phillips I have been to many nail salons for nail care and this is the nail salon I feel very satisfied with. I always like the way the staff here takes care of my nails, very gentle and delicate. I always feel comfortable during the manicure process.

Sierra Matthews I’m so happy to have found this place! Leo is a gem and does Gel X like a pro. Always takes the time to match my inspo photos and they slay each and every time. (For those looking for chrome or unicorn type finishes, they have a handful of options!) They also have a rewards program to rack up points as you visit which is pretty cool! The staff is friendly, place is clean, and the experience is enjoyable.

Talia Halevy Super bummed by this place’s consistency :( I went once for a gel set and it was perfect, lasted 4 weeks with no weirdness! Then I went back some time later and got another set done, within 5 days 4 nails had popped off. They were sweet when I went back to get them fixed but then two days later another two fell off. I’m not rough on my nails and this never happens with other places so I won’t be returning sadly.

Sarah Craft When I got my done 4 months ago, I got a nail infection. It has progressed and I am going to have to continue to spend money to take care of this issue via the doctors. It’s painful and uncomfortable and this is due to their lack of cleanliness and due diligence when push pushing my cuticle back too far. The place is pretty dirty, they rush you and the nail colors are extremely disorganized and they do not give you the time to choose a color.

Jerica Burgette Schedule your mani-pedi here! The people who work here are so fun, kind, friendly, and funny. They work together amazingly, as well. I had two different women working on my pedi and mani at the same time, and then another woman came and gave me a neck/shoulder/back massage (for as long as you desire, $1 per minute)-her spirit was so energetic and fantastic.They were also so gentle (I haven’t had a mani-pedi in forever), and my nails are flawless. The massage chair was definitely a plus, too. What a beautiful atmosphere with people who genuinely love making customers happy. They even stayed late for me (so maybe schedule late in the day, so you can also get this unmatched pampering). I’m just visiting the LA area, but I will definitely always come here when I visit again in the future.

A S I usually go another nail salon but I couldn’t get an appointment in the day I want to. So I tried this salon hence getting multiple recommendations. Arrived on time for gel pedi, a lady pointed the chair has full of cushions and told me to sit there. She immediately turned around and start talking to walk in customer and I was already not feeling comfortable since I don’t want to move all these cushions to other chairs. When other lady came over and start prepping the chair but they didn’t disinfect chair/arm rest and treys on both side, see the photos of try’s covered glitters and powders, disgusting. I had to remove gel, but after they covered my toes with (supposed to be acetone) for 5+minutes, I realized they didn’t use proper acetone because I can tell the gel wasn’t lifted at all. I have cosmetologist license and I KNOW how the gel look like after soak in acetone. They start scraping my nails with cuticle clippers, which I’ve never seen in my life nail tech using clipper blades to remove gels. After cuticle care/file/buff, they start scrubbing my foot without soaking them in warm water, which caused rough and extreme discomfort. I pulled my foot by pain but the lady kept rubbing callus file on my foot, then put my feet in tub. At this point I regret my poor decision that I didn’t make advanced appointment with my regular nail salon. When they applied base coat, the uv lamp stopped working. Next thing I saw was putting lamp on the floor to start charging, went to another one (also on the floor) to pick up and start using it WITHOUT CLEANING or WIPING them off. Yikes, this salon really don’t care about sanitation on their equipment at all. This place is dirty af, never coming back

Taranjit kaur Raina Lily is very detail oriented and helps me with color selection every time. She is always so sweet to ask me about my well being and while doing so I get a quick neck and shoulder massage. She is very fair priced and also quick in their services. They work as a team and help me with quick appointments every time.

Kennadi Davis I’d suggest calling before arriving for a quote! The website isn’t great but the people here are so nice and communicative, with great pricing. There’s some metered street parking available and an ATM inside. They accept tap /Apple pay as well! I only took of a star because the technician was a little touch filling my hard gel.

My friend and i came in for a full set of acrylics, and they took us right away so we were happy, but we soon found out that they take everybody that walks in and tells them "15 minute wait." They even lied about the wait time to people who made appointments and told them to come back later because they kept were overbooked. Rightfully so, those people were mad. I don’t even think they write their reservations down because they seemed confused every time someone said they made an appointment. The front desk lady was simultaneously doing my nails and massaging someones feet. Also, they completely rushed my nails because my nail technician was the only one of two nail techs who could do acrylics and someone had an appointment they did not allocate time for. My own nail tech argued with me about what shape and colors I said when I had a photo of exactly what I wanted up, and was extremely rude to me throughout the whole process. The pictures are my nails directly after getting them done. I’ve gotten my nails done dozens of times and they were rushing the process the whole time. Sloppy lines, left my hands gross at the end, and told me they’d give me a discount next time if i left a 5 star review, but I want to warn anyone who wants to come here, save your time and money.

Chanel J Heidi was very nice and sweet but the owner was a jerk. He misquoted me on the price for my nail length and when I called him out on the misquote he was rude, became prejudice towards me, tried to stereotype me and said I couldn’t afford it. Although I did not get the length he quoted me for before the service, he instead said he was charging me for her time. I told him I was paying for her time and service via her Tip and I shouldn’t have to pay extra for the nail length I never got. He is a liar and bad businessman. I was a first time customer and will NEVER go back here again to support his business.

Ashley Bragg The people working there were nice so I feel bad for posting a bad review but it’s probably one of the worst manicures I’ve had. 7/10 of my fingers are bleeding and in pain. My hands and clothes were covered in the only nail polish I had removed when she said she was done with the manicure. On top of the pain and bad experience the dip polish is too thick and weirdly round. I got a manicure from them before and it was cheaper and better than this time. But really don’t want to go back and have my cuticles bleed again. I’d skip this place if I were you.

Lisa Hong My boyfriend and I went over the holiday weekend after calling to make a last-minute appointment. They were kind enough to squeeze us in before closing and did such a great job! I brought in reference photos of what I wanted done, which included nail art. All of the ladies doing services were very sweet and patient despite my indecisiveness in choosing colors (lol) and Tom (I believe the owner?) gave his recommendations based on his expertise then meticulously drew the art himself while sharing funny stories with us. They are cash only but i think as a result the services were cheaper than most other locations in this area. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

Lindsay Love the ladies at this salon. Very reasonable prices, fast and efficient and allow me to come in for a redo paint touch up for something as little as a chipped nail. I have gone to every place all throughout Santa Monica but this is always the place I found to be the best. They have a new product for gel manicures which is an easy dipping powder versus using electric light. Its way better for your health too. I highly recommend. Great colors and lots of OPI and Essey

Morganzo Bean I had such a great experience here. They are a lovely team, so welcoming, and patient. The place was elegant, clean, and I even got a hot towel at the end of the manicure. I felt so comfortable I almost fell asleep. I love my nails. They’ve lasted two weeks already and they are perfectly shaped and colored.

Angie Lee I have been coming here for years, and I have to admit that I was hesitant to return initially due to a previous negative experience and feeling unwelcome. However, things have changed, and now I only visit for Vivian. She stays current with the latest trends and is incredibly caring and kind. I have eczema on my hands, and unlike many other nail technicians, she is very gentle and attentive. If you’re looking for excellent service, definitely see Vivian and make sure to treat her well!

Nicole Herman This is my regular nail salon for gel manicures and pedicures. Fair price for $80 plus tip. They keep the salon very clean and there’s never an issue getting a chair without an appointment. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 5 minutes to be seated. My only critique is that the caliber of the mani/pedi depends on the day and the technician. Sometimes they last 4 weeks, sometimes only 2. Their selection of gel colors is good, but they do not have many matching colors of regular polishes (if you’re looking to match a gel mani and non-gel pedi).

Hope S Update almost three weeks later and still look so good! Overall positive experience. Will update later. Place seemed pretty clean and service was fast. Small cut happened during the process but at least they were very keen about cleaning the wound and making sure I was ok. I changed colors mid way and they were very nice about it. I got a gel manicure with extensions for $55. Also I liked being able to wash my own hands and the clean towels. Whole thing took over an hour and a half which I didn’t mind. My technician was really careful about shaping my nails which was nice. Place was also full of regulars so I think that’s a good sign. David seems like a nice family man. FYI you can pay and tip with Venmo no need to use an atm. I will say that my nails turned out really pretty.

Claire Banks I visited Lynns for the first time and had an incredibly unfortunate experience. In sum, there was an issue with my nails caused by the technician that the salon was happy to fix. However, another customer was being helped when I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do. I did not ask to interrupt her appointment or even to necessarily use the same technician. The employee at the front desk asked my original tech to fix my nails which naturally resulted in the other customer needing to wait a maximum of 10 minutes to continue her appt. Lone behold, she began yelling at a high volume on the phone to a third party accusing me of stealing her appointment, and repeatedly stating that I should have waited and she would have MADE me wait if it were up to her. She verbally berated me on the phone to the entire salon while staring at me and my friend who accompanied me to the appt. To my surprise, none of the salon employees did or said anything to correct her behavior or even ask her to keep her voice down. Keep in mind this woman was at least twice our age and speaking in a very threatening and aggressive tone while staring us down. We finally finished my nails and I went to pay wherein I quietly asked the front desk employee if he could say something to her because my friend and I were visibly uncomfortable. His response was "I am sorry she is just a particular type of customer," but let the verbal abuse continue. I have never been so uncomfortable at a salon, especially for a customer based industry, and this experience made clear that I will never go back to Lynns. Acrylic nails are dangerously strong (glue) and ripped half of all my nails off till they bled when removing them:-( prices need to come down $7-$10.00 with exact set of nails they do the price covers over three packs of supplies per person serviced

The woman doing my nails did not clean my feet well in general, she gave a very poor “massage”, she made me bleed which took several minutes to stop, and the paint job itself - for lack of better words- looked awful. I do not suggest going here, and I will sadly never be back.

Kelly N New Salon!! Got a gel Mani and a Pedi with callous removal. They took extra care to put white undercoat under fluorescent color and extra coat to make look great! Toes needed extra coat also. I didnt even have to ask! Some places wont do extra coats unless you request. They made it look right! Thank you!!

I love and appreciate when nail salons put the plastic in the tub when getting pedicures and they do this! The nail tech was very thorough and cleaned very well. Yamit Florentin 02/05/2020 I lived a block away and was too lazy to drive to Santa Monica Blvd, so I decided to come here and give them another chance. I was happier with the service this time, but the final result was lacking; my gel manicure chipped off after only five days. A gel manicure is supposed to last for 2-3 weeks. I walked in without an appointment, and they were not busy at all, so I didnt have to wait. I got a pink gel manicure for $30, which is very reasonable. Any other nail salon in the area will charge you between $35 to $45 for a gel manicure. Unfortunately, again I noticed their sanitary conditions. The lady who did my nails didnt wear gloves or wash her hands before taking care of me. The work surface on the manicure table was dirty; I wonder how often they clean it. Changing your nail color without shaping/filling is way cheaper; $8 for hands $10 for feet And just $20 to change your gel color. Again, that does not include shaping and filling your nails.

Technician not interested in answering questions and when I saw the color I had picked and said it did not look the same as the bottle, she was just said it would look different on and did not let me switch. Polish not applied to entire nail (had to ask for this and only got one finger fixed) and applied very rushed (from one coat to the next in 20 or so seconds). When I was told to put my hand by a fan, one of my nails touched it and it took me about 5 minutes to be able to tell her, after which she just stacked a blob of nail polish on top of the semi-dry area.

Jamie Latta Im obsessed with the Dazzle Dry manicure. This polish dries in 5 minutes and usually last about 10 days without damaging my nails like gels. Jazzmyne did a great job. Worth the little bit extra bc it lasts.

Jaimie S Worst manicure of my life! I was so excited to come here after I just got engaged so I could take engagement pics including my hand. I asked my manicurist, Cindy, to just cut a tiny bit or file my nails and keep them the same shape as they were (almond). She cut off all my nails, filed them unevenly- flat square top on some, some rounded, uneven. It was beyond upsetting. They got Tim to fix them and put fake nails on which is crazy I got considering I came in with long nails. When I left, they told me they didn’t charge me for the two fake nails I got. I’d hope you wouldn’t charge me for the nails I would have never needed if it wasn’t for Cindy chopping them off. What’s crazy is- even if I wanted short nails- they weren’t even or remotely ok for that either! So much for my engagement photos and thinking I was going to a high end nail salon.

D Cooper I used to love this place but the last several pedicures I got were not good at all. The polish was chipping off within a day. They also raised their massage prices to $2 per minute and claimed they sent an email out letting people know. I think they should put a sign. I walked out spending $90 for a mediocre pedicure and a 20 minute massage because the management did not inform me of the raise in price. $2 per minute?!!! I found a place down the street for a fraction of the price and my pedicure looks shiny and brand new and its been over a week. Dont waste your money here. The music and Perrier are nice but if you want top work and to not spend a fortune go elsewhere.

Melinda Roberts I was pretty disappointed, and this was probably one of the worst regular mani/pedis Ive received. For reference, I scheduled this ahead of time. I came in with naturally long nails and asked for them to stay long, but they have been shaved down to a quarter inch. The nail polish seems to be a bit uneven as well. I took my four year old with me to get a pedi, and the person working on his was *very* annoyed. My kid is very well behaved, but naturally would flinch when getting his nails filed because it tickled. Im not sure why they would put someone so impatient and who is annoyed with kids on the kids pedicure....:l We will just continue to go to Bonlierre!

Yamit Florentin Bellcaures is on the pricey side; the area has cheaper nail salons. I came here because I needed an appointment for a pedicure on the same day and always wanted to try their services. I live in the area and always drive past the salon. One thing that stood out for me that every nail salon should do is the option to tip your nail tech via Venmo. They had a list of their staff with their Venmo barcode right on the counter where you pay. You can pay with cash or with credit cards and then tip your nail tech via Venmo if you dont have some money on you. The pedicure was excellent. Grace, who did my toes, was very gentle with me. The salon is clean, the chairs are comfy, and the atmosphere is chill and professional. The front desk lady was friendly and helpful.

Magdalena Munao I’ve been coming to this salon for 5+ years and couldn’t recommend it enough! They are always so professional and accommodating. I get dip powder manicures and gel pedicures. They’re perfect every time and last me 3 weeks with no chips. Highly recommend Amiee, Cindy and all of her staff.

Rachel Cohen I got a gel manicure here that got ruined in 3 days. The color was clearly not good quality and they would only take my nail polish off or replace it with the same thin poor quality polish. Spent $50 for junk. Not worth it.

Melanie Maroon I made an appointment for 5pm which they booked happily. Showed up on time and no waited for 45 min in which i at least ten time told them i needed to be gone by 6:20. They reassured me everytime that they would make it. Well my pedicure was done but that’s how my hand were when i had to leave. And with the surprise of making me pay $86 for a gel pedicure and manicure not done. What a service!!! STAY AWAY! THere is way better place around to waste your money and time on people who do not care.

Kelly Meza Came here for an underarm wax and regular mani. It was a 0/5 service. The only positive experience here was a man who works there. He has good people skills. The lady who did my wax did not remove the previous liner and it was used. She did not want me to wash my hands. It was rushed and she turned off the lights and rushed out while I was still in there shirtless. My nails were done by someone else and my nails came out clumpy. Overall bad experience. Would not recommend. .

Kelvin Truong Came in for their soft opening today with my wife for her pedicure and 15 min massage. She felt very pampered and is extremely impressed with their work. I needed cuticle cleaned and Johnny was my nail tech that did a fantastic job. Great service. Prices is fair compared to the more expensive menu prices in other salons around Wilshire Blvd. Me and my wifey will be coming back for sure!!

Eliana Kandel Did not have a good experience here. They left hangnails on my toes which have now become painful. Generally the mani and pedi both look like I did them at home - super messy. The gel quality in particular is terrible. It’s a little hard to tell in the photos I posted but including for additional context. This was done yesterday btw. There were small things too that overall contributed to a bad experience. For my mani they didn’t moisturize or do the included hand massage. Not the end of the world, I know, but the mani felt unfinished, my hands were left dry and yes I missed having the relaxation piece with the arm rub. It’s the part of the experience I actually look forward to. Also, I asked for a color (brown) and when I mentioned the one they used wasn’t right, they tried to convince me that it actually is the one I asked for, just not as old looking (?). As you can see, the color on my hands is not even remotely brown. I don’t have a job right now and I allow myself 1 mani pedi every 2-3 months. I’m so upset I wasted $75 on this.

Joe Aniston They are super misleading, they made me drive and walk a couple miles after I called and asked for basic pedicure prices and they play you into coming to surprise you with different prices. They are very tricky and just looking for the up-sale, hungry lil Chinese nail piranhas. I had to get my pedicure done somewhere else they werent good enough to cut my nail toes properly. Minus 5 stars.

Lusine Muradyan I think some of the employees are wonderful and they have great rapport with customers. Also clean… But I went there to remove my gel and my nails have been completely destroyed for the last two months to where I can’t even get them done. They keep cracking and breaking off.

Bianca Reindell Not a service I would recommend! I went there twice for acrylic nails. First time was okay second time was rushed although it was raining and there were just 3 customers inside. Answering their private phone in between a treatment and talking to their teammates in their mother tongue which might you feel bad as a customer is not professional at all. Also the last job they got done was not more than 3*. I spent $60 on a nail job and obviously got the glue for free according to some nails. Color was not matched with the booklet. I told the person who was in charge but obviously didn’t bother her! Next customer please…

Mrs. Harris Update: I am changing my 5 star to 3 star because of my last experience. Mona is no longer there. The person who did my lashes did a nice job but the lashes did not stay on longer than a week. I am a good client and always leave a generous tip. When I went back I had to pay again and was basically quoted the rules regarding the cost of service based on the week or weeks between service. I am huge on customer service and accountability. It is very unfortunate that the Cha Spa did not take any responsibility. I will not return. Had my lashes done here for the third time now by Mona. She is amazing! She uses quality products and the lashes stay on for almost a month. I love how detailed she is before starting the service. I have had some bad experiences in other places. Mona is definitely the best I have experienced yet. Don’t hesitate to try her and make sure she knows I sent you! #lovemylashes

To make matters worse, they had a blue bin bucket covered with a plastic bag and asked me to soak my feet in it. I walked out within a minute. I’ve never encountered anything worse in my life. The interior is SOO cute and is a real spa with curtained areas and beds for massages, decorated rooms for waxing & lash applications, super nice & elevated mani/pedi chairs, consistent decor throughout & uniforms on all the employees. Their prices are very reasonable (~40 for a classic mani & pedi). If you’re there for lashes I recommend hybrid or more since the classic still looks too thin & completely natural on me honestly and I have thin lashes to begin with. The Groupon is a good deal. I’m coming back here for sure! The photo is of the classic lashes.

R-N B I won’t be going back. To arrange one appointment for eyelash extensions, it took four calls to the salon, and 56 texts (yes, you read that correctly) to the eyelash technician. The salon doesn’t book the appointments, they ask you to call the technician, but she won’t talk so everything has to be done by text. I asked her several times to have a quick two minute conversation to arrange a convenient appointment, however she wouldn’t, saying she was too busy. Somehow sending 56 messages took less time?! Makes no sense! In the end she said perhaps I should go to a different company to get them done! An interesting way of doing business, trying to send your clients elsewhere. I got there 15 minutes late as I had thought the salon was at a different location and she hadn’t confirmed the address, and then I realized and had to change direction to get to where she was. When I arrived she advised that she couldn’t give the whole treatment as I had arrived late. At the end of the treatment she asked how much I would like to tip. Perhaps some service providers miss the fact that service starts with the very first contact you have with the company, and my experience up until that point had been beyond disappointing. I Advised her I wanted to consider it and potentially tip at the next appointment. However, within a week 30% of all of the eyelashes had fallen out, and now, 10 days later, more than 50%. I’ve been getting eyelash extensions for around 10 years, so know how long they should last, and how to treat them in order to make them last. I would have brought this to their attention before now, however I did leave a message for the manager to call me back, and that never happened, so I have no doubt even a complaint direct to the salon would result in absolutely no action. There are too many other companies out there to bother with ones who dont care about their clients. A very good example of exactly how bad service can be.

Valentine Olivier The best! Team has a great attention to detail and the service is wonderful. Tons of gel colors and the team does an amazing job at getting them perfect (pictured below in nude). Their regular polish also lasts forever and doesn’t chip. The oxblood nails (picture attached) are regular polish nails after a Vegas trip - no chips, just grow out!

H L Kirby I broke 3 nails- I had to get to airport… they got me right in, fixed my nails and redid the others in record time. Highly recommend. 2 days ago I had a pedicure with a friend here- which is why I knew to come here. That was excellent too! I added on extra minutes (with small charge) and it was worth every penny. Did not experience any negative as I’ve read in other reviews. I will come back when I’m back in town! Thanks!!

Pamela Cohen I recently went to Nail Spa Lane to have a mani and pedi. I love Dazzle Dry polish because it lasts much longer. I almost always do the callus remover and would do it every time if it weren’t extra. The neck and foot massage is always a bonus and leaves you feeling relaxed. I definitely recommend Nail Spa Lane!

g o Three days after my manicure and I haven’t been doing manual labor, but you can see the polish is chipping and flaking off greatly. So, it’s a little pricey for the results. I guess they didn’t really advertise no chip, so.... My pedicure is holding up no problem, though.

Yamit Florentin The day I walked in to get my pedicure, the lady told me their credit card machine was broken so they take only cash. I asked her if thats their policy, she said not just today. $28 for a regular pedicure, I was happy with the result, but the lady could have been gentler when working on my toes. Dont hesitate to have asked them to be gentle with your nails. They have a wide selection of colors which is nice, also wide selection of dip powder, if youre into it. Loved the pedicure chairs, really comfortable. Clean restrooms in the back and also there is ATM machine inside. I was able to walk-in and get my toes done with an appointment, they werent busy at that time.

Cindy Nieto Ive been coming here for 4 months through the summer I was there today August 9th Tuesday 2022 Usually the girls are nice this one I had was very very disturbing she she used cleanse cleanser soap to scrub by feet with feet with this Soap she uses to clean the tub is down at the bottom next to the sponge so in case she cleans your feet with the same soap which I know looks like they use is a different color because Ive been going there for a long time also they tried using my card and I know they tried to overcharge my until overcharge when I ask for a receipt they said oh car doesnt work so I got from ATM Watch out for that! Also heres a picture that I took waiting for my pedicure to dry and this is what the supply is blue soap its described the tub.

N i was a loyal customer for months now and went each time for normal extension-free gel polish. each time i have always been super happy with my manis and pedis. the last time i went in with super strong, long, natural nails and just wanted a polish change, a new woman kept trying to talk me into builder gel as i declined repeatedly. she then proceeded to over-file my nails paper thin, especially on the apex, and kept going to the point they were immediately bending. now my nails are breaking like crazy despite the exact same routine as usual. in the past i went for convenience because it’s nearby, a nice environment, quality work, and no risk of getting file shavings flapped in my face like at another place i visited. but i will likely never ever return and will warn my friends who care about nail health. it’s been a few weeks, they are still so thin, not growing the same, breaking at the apex, and im actually terrified for the health of my nail beds.

After it was done I told her to her face.How bad that she was.I was quiet enough not to embarrass her.But I wanted her to know and look her in the eyes. Tali I’ve never had such a terrible nail experience until coming to Ispa Lane. My girlfriend and I (both 17) decided to get our nails done and found this nail place on Montana. After being seated and having my nails done I had no complaints (besides how aggressive my nail tech was being on my hands). Right as she was about to do my polish she pauses and starts aggressively asking me for money. She tells me to pay right now and I was shocked because her dimeter changed so fast. I was so confused on why she was asking for money right then but the bigger issue was how condescending and aggressive she was being. I turn to my girlfriend and she tells her that she’s paying for both of us after. She then calms down and continues doing my nails. I was silent for a moment but decided to speak up and ask her if she thought I was gonna walk out. She told me yes but then later said that they ask everyone that. I looked around the room and not once did I hear them ask so aggressively for money upfront. The nail tech doing my girlfriends nails seemed so embarrassed by her co-worker. I couldn’t believe how she was so rude and then went back like nothing happened. I told her that was terrible costumer service and just because of my age does not mean you can talk to me like that. I’ve never gone out of my way to write a review but after that experience I felt the need to. Seriously should invest money in costumer service training. I’ve been to many salons and have never had an experience like that.

Sage I came here expecting a relaxing nail appointment. Instead, I got a masterclass in rudeness, dishonesty, and how to completely ruin a customer’s experience. Jessica operates like she’s being forced at gunpoint to do nails—zero enthusiasm, zero respect, and 100% attitude. You can literally feel her contempt as she rushes through your service like she’s competing in the Nail Olympics (spoiler alert: she loses). But here’s where she really shines: mystery pricing. What starts as one price magically inflates by the end—no explanation, just vibes. When I politely questioned it, she gave me a look so disgusted you’d think I asked her to donate a kidney. Oh, and if you dare to ask her to fix something? Be prepared for a world-class eye roll and a sigh so deep it might alter weather patterns. Jessica, if you hate doing nails so much, just say that. Or better yet—find another job where customer service isn’t required. Final advice? If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this place like a contagious disease. There are plenty of salons nearby that actually know how to treat people like human beings.

Liz AM I have been coming to BE & J since their last location and I can say it’s a place that will leave you with beautiful nails in a short amount of time. The women are kind and skillful. Jessica is the best at her art and very attentive. Expect them to be busy! I appreciate their hard work and happy this place is around.

Angela Gabaldon I do not normally leave reviews but had to with these two manicures. Last two times I went to the owner. For Gel X manicure Had to come back because the nail polish chipped in less than 24hrs. When I came back the first time she did the nails topcoats on a couple of the nails. Then again 24hrs later nails start lifting and chipping. I told her it was frustrating to have have back twice for the same manicure for plus she made my cuticles raw. She refused to do it over and just gave me my money back and said not her problem. Never coming back. Don’t waste your time or money.

I have had two bad experiences (out of 4 visits) that I would like to share. 1- The first time I stoped by their shop I was 6 months pregnant with my twins, after I waited few minutes i found a spot to sit. After they finish my pedicure they told me that they only accept cash! While I only carry cards, I waited 30 min on my foot in their shop for my husband to bring me some cash so they can let me go. When my husband arrived the manager said okay this time you can pay with card! I wanted to scream! They kept me on my foot for long time, while I was pregnant and heavy and asking me for cash while they could do cards too?!!! 2- Please see the attached pictures. Terrible gel pedicure by:Linda I paid $40 for this pedicure.(Tip included) When she was done I told her that I don’t like it. Please fix it. She laughed and took her stuff and left! She didn’t even care or listen to what I told her! Due to the bad service I give them one star. They do not value their customers and their work very sloppy.

Rahul Vohra I am a dentist and got the manicure done for myself. Very nice lady with soft and gentle touch did my work. Would definitely recommend to all men to come and get their nails manicure done here.

Jessica Lee The worst service Ive ever received at a nail salon. I brought two friends with me and mistakenly went here without checking the reviews. The only reason I went here is because my eyebrow place is next door. HUGE mistake. I shouldve known when I asked if we could walk in on a Sunday afternoon, but whatever. Friend #1 - had acrylics on and wanted them off. She then wanted to get gel. They did not listen and instead of taking off the actual acrylic, she just filed it down and cut it really short (the literal opposite of what she asked for) then when the second lady stepped in she was completely rude about it. Friend #2 - got a pedicure and met with so much attitude. Then when she asked if the nail tech to help put her slippers on so she wouldnt smudge the nail polish, (the nail tech) she threw a fit about it and said she "doesnt do that stuff". Welp, every nail salon has always offered to put slippers on to preserve their work, clearly they dont care here. Me - she forgot base coat, did an ok job but was rude to me when I politely declined the extra services. Then when I went to go tip her she huffed at me. WTF? She really didnt deserve that 20% tip and then to be so rude when I gave it to her? Insane! STAY AWAY!!!

Eunice Cho UNSANITARY - My friend visited from the UK and swung by this place and got an infection. On top of that, one of her other nails chipped. Poor quality and absolutely disgusting.

Barbara Moran I was a walk in and asked if they did powder. They said they did. It took an hour and 45 mins and was horrible! I had it done 2 days ago and have 3 broken nails already. I would not recommend.

daeraeceo Impromptu surprise for my wife, while in the area celebrating our anniversary! They took GREAT care of her, and laid these AMAZING cat eyes on her nails! When back in the area, we will definitely come back!

Lily C. Huber Pleasant service provided by Kathylynn for a gel manicure. The ambiance isnt as relaxing, but if you dont mind there may be availability to just walk-in for a last minute service if you are in the neighborhood. Im rating for the service provided and nail product, not the salon ambiance.

Ann Epifanio While the lady helping me did help remove soft gel on my hands, the final product was not good. Gel polish on one nail came off within 3 hours of leaving the salon (and another one fell off this morning and can feel two others peeling already). The drying machine was terrible and did not work. I sat there for 3 rounds of drying (it was an old/cheap "Thermal Nail" drying machine, Ive never seen a machine like this before) and ultimately had to leave for a meeting. ALSO, one of the other women who works there was using an electronic file/nail drill to get rid of her own dry skin on her feet/calluses throughout the duration of my appointment...DISGUSTING! Major cringe/very unprofessional. Will not be going back.

Jill Meryl I loved the Russian manicure..however I didnt get the design I wanted...and the tech seemed rushed near the end..the gel started coming off one nail...I paid $200 for a mani & regular pedi to b disappointed..I. glad I tried the russian manicure..however I will b going back to my regular manicurist

M N They did an amazing job and we’re very accommodating when I had a book an earlier spot through ClassPass, but couldn’t make it until an hour later. Very sweet and clean facilities as well!
