Ainsley Amazing experience!! All staff members were kind and friendly. The whole experience felt very classy. The inside was beautiful and clean, and they offered me a beverage during my service. Karl did my nails and he was fantastic. This was my first time getting any kind of nail extension and he explained everything beautifully and was very patient with me. My nails look perfect and I will absolutely be back.

Chandler Hodges I’ve been here twice. The first time was just okay but three of my nails broke within 2 days. I went again yesterday. I had Kendall. She was really rough and actually “skinned” my fingers on multiple nails with the drill machine. I bled once and she said nothing about it. My nails are WAY shorter than I asked for and the polish has already started chipping on the tips because she only did one layer of color. Mind you, I paid $110 for this because she said it was “medium” nail art. The brushes were dirty and utensils not sanitized on her cart. I wish I would have stopped the service but I was in a hurry. I would reccomend finding a different spot. Also looks like one of my fingers is getting infected

tiange zhang Yesterday I was real disappointed by the service. I walk to the shop, decide to do Medicare and a pedicure at the same time. There is a girl and a man who served me, they really catching the time the gel is not even, and they hurt my finger. It was bleeding because they’re doing too harsh. I feel painful, and that was absolutely bad experience. I feel fine at the beginning. I saw just like a cut. They tried to gave me the cream to stop bleeding. And I think that was OK and they tried to give me discount. I was not really happy after I go home. I find out that my fingers and the other toe fingers are broken too. I’m so angry. I tried to call the front desk to ask for a refund, but they refuse to give me a refund, and they talk about it really busy at the store so they have to text me and explain to me.:I only can get 10% off next time I come to the store, but do you think I really gonna come back because your service and discount????? I was really disappointed because I saw it supposed to be professional, and I don’t think you should visit, even though they reopen a new one at the block. I won’t think to come here again and I even tipped them. That was hilarious. One star for sure.

Katrina Kroetch This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, let me start by saying that I was 30 minutes late due to traffic and I felt really bad… I tried to reschedule when I knew I was going to be late but they waited for me and we’re very kind and gracious about it. When I arrived Chloe was smiling and nice and she didn’t rush the manicure at all or in anyway even though I was late which is excellent customer service and very kind. It was my first time having nail art done so I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted and I wasn’t very organized in my request and she was patient and helping me pick what to choose and on which finger to put it on. She gave me options of drawing it on for a little more money or using stickers for a little bit less and there was different options and she help me design it from the photos I brought in. At the end of the day I think her designs looked almost to the photos and she did a really good job. I was really impressed with how kind they were to me even though Iwas in the wrong and late. If they are this kind of people that are late I can’t even imagine how nice they are when people are on time. The designs look amazing and she even massage my hands with lotion and put cuticle oil and did all of the things that made it feel fancy and luxurious and the art looks absolutely amazing. The woman next to me getting her nails done at the time said she comes all the time and it’s her favorite place. I can tell that I’m going to be back too. It was $135 for the nails and total was $200 cause I tipped for her being so kind when I was late and doing such great detail work.

Got acrylics for the first time in years — I was nervous as fake nails can easily look so messy and tacky but I’m thrilled with the result. The nail tech was so intentional with each step, making sure everything was well done before moving on to the next. Shelby W Update: contacted them, spoke to the nail tech, and let them know what happened. I was told it must have been my fault (which is very untrue!) and then he told me he’d refund. I haven’t received it but I’ll count this as a sunk cost and just avoid this place. Sucks because Flower and this one lady who did my nails once were so professional and did my eyebrows and nails flawlessly! 10/16/2023: Absolutely horrendous. The guy who has done my nails twice (not the guy with the mustache, the other one) has no consideration for guests: he’s rough, pushy, and does not make it like a comforting nail appointment. My recent appointment I got gel x and as he put the nails on my fingers, the glue/gel x was clearly burning under the light and despite me telling him, he did nothing. He picked the wrong nail sizes and forced them on my nail beds. He did my gel x nails while I was on the foot massage chair. I don’t know but I would think that is a bad place to be doing acrylics! Now part of my finger is bleeding and cracked because he didn’t do his job correctly.I did call and they offered to fix it BUT WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO FIX? I will not be back again and he seriously needs classes on how to be professional and less rough at a nail salon. I am on my way to an urgent care to check this out. If you go her, go to Flower or just anyone else.

Esme Sanchez I live a block from this place and I would always drive to my usual spot in West Covina. My boyfriend found this place for me and I gave it a shot. Now this is my go to spot. Especially my nail tech Peter. I went in for coffin but He recommended tapered square Instead because I have small mail beds and I am in love. Britany Golden Sima Nail Lounge is an absolute vibe. Called to see if they could fit me in for a gel manicure and to touch up my pedicure. Sima stayed late just to accommodate me and then took care of me like I was a regular even though it was my first time. Prices are more than reasonable and I even got chrome. Definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for a nail spot. Not only is the service incredible, the space is gorgeous!

Astrid Santos First time being here and recommended from 2 of my colleagues that always go there. My service was great but I went in last Sunday to get my nails done for a wedding. My friend got her nails done for HER wedding as a bride and they turned out amazing from Ellen but my nails as a maid of honor were done by someone else. My nails looked incredible! But the following Saturday which was only 6 DAYS after of having my nails done they started to pop off. I have absolute no nail damage to my real nail, the nails I had done just popped off less than a week. I was really disappointed because they were not glued on Properly. It was embarrassing to hide my nails from the photographer. 3 of my nails came off the day of the wedding. They seemed like if they were press on nails. Absolutely not satisfied with the outcome. I paid over 125 dollars for them only to come off in 6 days. I also tipped her 30 dollars just for my hands. My pedicure was done extremely By someone else. I will not be coming back.

Esther Best nail tech I have gone to so far. I’ve been getting my nails done for several years and tried out many nail salons but Leah is by far the most talented and detail oriented tech I have met. She never says no to your design requests and has always delivered, if not, exceeded expectations. My nails are naturally oily(?) so they lift pretty easily but Leah spends a long time on nail care which helps to last longer. I have had nails last 8 weeks!! Look at that growth. grace loves gaia Nail Place is very clean and the technicians are very skilled and FAST. Having said that, for paying $135 I did not get any leg or hand massage and wasn’t able to use the massage chair because they were doing my hands and feet at the same time. I was disappointed as those are a favourite part of mine. My nails are also a different shape than the photo I showed the technician. But, the work looks nice and everybody was kind.

Juanita Hong Never been here before and wanted to try a local spot. It was easy to make an appointment through their site the night before, the place was busy when I first walked in, very clean, and loved their attention to detail. I don’t do this often and wanted to treat myself, so it was nice to sit, relax, and even check out the mountain views right from your seat. No gel and just did basic manicure and pedicure.

The nails came out absolutely amazing. I got my nails done on Friday. Sadly, Monday the hard gel came off on one of the nails. It’s Wednesday and already another nails is breaking and I see a third nail where the nail polish is separating from the nail. It’s a big bummer because it hasn’t been a week since I got them done. The price was not bad, mine came out a little more expensive because I had to remove the material from another nail place. I’m still leaving them 3 stars because they had such nice staff and everything was clean and orderly. My pedicure still looks great, I just personally didn’t have much luck with regards to the nails and them lasting.

I love, love, love this place. I’ve been coming here for the last three or four months, and am a dedicated fan. Mama Mai and her amazing staff are always so sweet, friendly, funny, and sassy, especially the really nice and funny Aunties/nail techs that’s been doing my nails and toes the last couple of times. Their work is flawless; and they’ve been more than kind enough to patiently work with me because my nails have gone from being long, to the longest they can possibly make them. My last time here, they were even kind enough to keep the shop open late for me. They always treat me like one of their kids, make me feel so welcomed, and pampered everytime. A long overdue review because it took a few months of denial before acknowledging that I was severely overcharged. Joanne was nice during my appointment and took me in last-minute after doing her daughters nails, but I have never paid this much for any nail design, even those with extensions. I went in asking for a gel-X manicure but at the beginning of the appointment Joanne specifically and adamantly told me to keep my natural nails since they were so short (not sure what the logic in that was) and that she "wanted to make it cheaper" for me. Its my fault for not standing up for myself and asking for a price breakdown at the end - not to mention theres an automatic 20% gratuity and she doesnt believe in giving price estimates... Very disappointed and feeling ripped off.

Alison I have been a repeat client at this nail tech for over a year and I have to say no one takes the time and care like Joanne does. The quality of the materials and the designs are consistently higher in comparison to other nail salons in ktown. Joanne is devoted to her craft like no other. I have always felt welcome and respected here, as a person of color, I find that one review claiming Joanne mistreated them hard to believe. Joanne is very professional and respectful. This is the only place where I feel like the focus is 100% on me every time I go, which isn’t the case in most cheaper nail salons. I am happy to pay her rates because of the attention to detail, quality of design, dedication and time spent focused on me only. The new salon is beautiful, comfortable, and pleasant. And there is parking available in the building.

It was definitely a trial & error process to find a good nail lady, but I think I finally found one worth coming back for! I now understand when people say I only let ____ touch my hair / nails, because thats how I feel about Joanne - small but mighty, this is your go-to for the butter & bread of nails in LA. I found her on Yelp after seeing glowing reviews back in May, and Ive been going to get my nails done ever since. Ive gotten my nails done in different cities across NYC, Boston, Philly, Maryland, and here, and I can say for certain that I have yet to meet someone as detail-oriented and clean as Joanne. She is very meticulous with cuticle treatment/clean-up and uses really good products. I can tell because sometimes, her gel polish will easily last me > 3 weeks. She also always offers her personal touch which, for someone who is indecisive with designs, is always appreciated. Above all else, she goes above and beyond for her clients and makes you feel valued/welcome, and I rarely find that 1:1 connection in this industry. I highly recommend you visit Joanne and see for yourself what Im talking about!!

C Shimizu Wow Im so happy I discovered this place - a hidden gem in Korean town. Ive been to many nail salons in Tokyo and NYC, and Im very satisfied with my experience at Joa Nail Salon. Highly recommended (I dont really write reviews and this is a rare occasion). They were very welcoming even though it was a last minute reservation. So many colors and designs to choose from, and Joanne, the owner/nail artist, is able to accommodate to basically any request you would have. Based on my ideas Joanne gave me advice on which colors and patterns to go for, which Im really happy with. If you are looking for a long-lasting, professionally done gel manicure, or a design that suits your style, you should definitely try this salon!!!

She gives each client the VIP treatment, carefully prepping my cuticles by hand (no machines!), which makes every appointment feel extra special. Yuri’s attention to detail is next-level—she applies three or four coats perfectly for full coverage, and my nails always look flawless. Her design skills are incredible too; I often bring photos, and she recreates them perfectly every time. Even the stones are so secure that they never catch on my hair! If you want nails that look stunning and last, Yuri is the one to see. Thank you, Yuri!

Erika Urena Do not come to this salon. They do not know what a gel refill is. They removed 3/5 nails and then offered to repaint them without refilling them after I asked to not be charged for the removal for the false advertisement in order to still be able to get my nails done.

Crystal Okoc This girls are amazing here. They’re supper professional and everything is on time. I booked a pedicure appointment and when I got here they take me in right away. They have nice and clean spa chairs and they also use disposable liners. All the items they use like files buffer and pumice stone are disposable. It was so relaxing and they use organic sugar scrub for every pedicure. I know most place charge extra for it but it’s included here. They finish your massage with essential oil hot towel and it’s so good. If you’re not coming here for a pedicure you’re missing out on amazing quality.

Hashaa Tumur I’ve been coming to this salon over few months now and every time when I get my nails done it lasts more than 4 weeks without any problems. I get hard gel/ builder gel overlay and my nails never been naturally this long before. They don’t overbook themselves or try to get every walk ins. I highly recommend to book an appointment in advance. You won’t spend your half day at nail salon anymore. They take you by appointment on time and finish your service about over an hour.

Hayley Gulizia For years I was religious with my last nail salon until they convinced me to do hard gel and it was chipping within the week. After two weeks going back to the salon to fix one nail, I decided to find somewhere closer to home and came across nailington. The first time I came I think I had Jenny and I was going to Argentina for a month. I got back home and couldn’t come in for another week or two and they were still great (although way too grown out). Every single time my nails look amazing and never chip or come off. The girls spend way more time here than most Salons. Also hard gel has saved my nails too, I’ve never been able to grow my natural nails so long that I’m asking them please cut them way shorter! I highly recommend. This time I had Ana and Zaya and they both were soo thorough and amazing. Helping me pick a neutral color for a vacation, and fixing the shape a little bit from what I’ve learned I like as time has gone on. I’ll definitely ask for them both again. Thank you!

The Popescus didnt really care for this nail salon. Reasons: 1) The chairs are uncomfortable (see photo). There is a ledge that your feet rest on and I just didnt like this setup compared to traditional spa chair 2) They dont use disposable liners- important for hygiene between customers 3) The staff just werent that friendly My actual manicure and pedicure were okay. They did an excellent job with our feet and my hands. I gotta tell you, my feet were pretty dang bad from having athletes foot when I was 12. I haven’t felt and seen my feet so soft since then. I feel confident in sandals again. The prices are cheap and reasonable. Definitely would come here again the next time I’m in LA.

I went to blush la I seen all over my social media I fell In love with how they do their nails on Instagram ... my partner was so kind enough to make me an appointment . ( we live In Fresno) ... I got there showed the lady what I wanted she said she can do it so she got to Working on my nails right away she filed my nails but was really rough she made me bleed on my thumb and ring finger. she started putting fake nails on and put so much glue it was all over my fingers, the fake nail it’s self was literally glued on my skin, then she got to doing the acrylic she did not know how to dip the brush into the acrylic.. the acrylic was dripping off the nails . she just kept trying to make it work ... the acrylic ended up drying she didn’t file them down enough she didn’t file the side or bottom where there was so much dried acrylic... she left it as it is and started putting nail polish over and she said she was done with my nails… they was so lumpy, and was not shaped .. I showed the boss my nails, I pointed to where they were bumpy. She said “I don’t see anything?! ….I told her she can just look at them. She wanted to give me a discount but then she said she was gonna talk to the lady... they said my nails where short and can cause the acrylic to do that lmao excuse me I get my nails done all the time and she put fake nails on me she didn’t put acrylic on my real nails.. But I didn’t pay thank god! I was so heart broken I sat there for 3 hours! Me and my partner had plans and we couldn’t do nothing cause everything was close by the time I was out and not to mention we drove 3 hours ! Lucky Walmart was open I bought some stuff to take the nails off! there was so much glue that the acetone couldn’t melt all of the glue off my fingers ... I was in such pain the glue literally ripped my skin off my fingers ....I hope no one ever go threw that’s type of experience!

Blush LA was probably the tenth place that we tried in LA County, and it was finally the perfect place for me and my wife! Krista is my new favorite nail tech, as shes not only talented but kind, reasonable and honest. I went to her first for my bachelorette gel mani-pedi (lemon design posted below), and then went back for my gel wedding nails (Frozen-inspired french tips). Both were a huge hit, and I will definitely be back to Blush for all of my future mani-pedis!

Margaret Dauer I never review but I just came here by recommendation and got gel removal and gel manicure. I’ve been getting gels at other salons regularly for the past 6 years and never had an issue like this. The manicurist had to soak my gels 3x in acetone before she could fully remove the gel and ended up filing it off anyway with a regular nail file, also filing down my nails like this. She over-filed down my nail beds, and cut me to the point of bleeding on 4 different fingers while trimming my cuticles. She did not soak cuticles at all, only wiped them with alcohol and some cuticle dissolver before trimming. While painting my nails, she did not cover the entire nail bed and left many edges uncovered and uneven, while other sides had gel coat painted over my skin. One of my nails even had something stuck in it when I left. I was so shocked that I paid and left but called the shop later and told them. They did offer to redo my nails for free. within an hour of being done getting my nails done, a gel completely peeled off one of my fingers.

Christina Pereira Ive been coming to Sweetly Nails for over a year and a half. I even moved to the Valley during this time and continue to go back. The salon is located in the shopping plaza with Trejos Donuts so there are parking spots. It can get crowded at times, but I always try to go on the week days. They do all types of nails, (regular, gel, dip powder, cat-eye, and designs). But what Ive gathered as a repeat customer is only certain technicians do the dip powder, so if this is service youre interested in Id suggest calling to make an appointment. Amy has been my go to person since my first day there. Shes easy to work with and my nails always look great. I have witnessed on two separate occasions women come in and get well over $150 worth of work done on their hands and feet then make up an excuse to "get money from the car" and then not come back in to pay. All the women in this shop work hard, especially when customers ask for special designs or other time consuming extras. They deserve to be paid for their services, treat them with respect and pay them for the service they provide.

Y T I called them to make an appointment, and it was easy. However, it took a while to reach their receptionist since they were constantly busy on the line. The business should have a better way to make an appointment to make it less hassle for both parties, clients, and the business. I showed up early, and there was meter parking in the front. The nail salon was well-decorated and spacious. I came and waited for 5 mins also recommended choosing the color for my nail polish. I enjoyed the time here with great conversations and friendly ladies who worked here. They also helped me to put more coins in the front and paid for my meters. That was unexpected and beyond excellent service. The price was decent, and I definitely will return!

Not only did they accommodate me on a busy night as a walk in client, they went above and beyond to take care of me and my 7 month old baby who was in tow. They did my wedding nails and they look beautiful! While I was getting my nails done, my daughter wanted to play so the owner was gracious enough to carry her around and entertain her while I got my nails done. Zara It took 40 min for me to get my service, even though I did an appointment by the phone. Nails was good I really liked it, but this happens after like a WEEK… Gel nail polish is not a good quality, gets dark, dirty and kinda looks very cheap and ugly. Doesn’t worth 112$. But the service and people who work there are very nice.

Pauline Steward I had a good experience at this nail location. First, parking is not horrible if you use the metered or small parking lots south of Wilshire. It was a busy location with a lot of people in the location but they spaced people out well. They had a good selection of polishes. I chose a white chrome which ended up beautiful thanks to my detail oriented nail technician Kai. It was a bit expensive for chrome of course but I was treating myself. I really felt like it was a great location. I would return.

B Ng I’ve been coming to Apple Nails for a couple years now and thanks to Vanis and Patricia, I have been able to grow my nails out with hard gel builders. They take care of my hands and my nails - and try to fit me in as soon as I can if I have a break and I call or text them about it. They also have an online portal that is super easy to make appointments, too. I’ve seen many people come in as walk-ins and be accommodated, and I also see that if someone’s appointment is delayed, they do their best to communicate and make sure the clients are compensated for their time appropriately, too. I have also seen many customers walk in and throw a fit if they cannot be immediately accommodated. I come here regularly for both hard gel mani and regular or gel pedi. Really appreciate the time and care they take on my pedicures, too. For regular pedicures with callous removal it will be $40. Cost of my pedicures have been anywhere from $60 to $120 depending on the designs (seen in the photos) I request. If I am doing both pedicure and manicure, they’ll do the manicure at the massage chairs, and if the pedicure wraps up and there is a manicure table available, they ask me if I’d be more comfortable sitting at the manicure table to finish up. They accommodate and give options how to proceed. They accept cash, Venmo, and with a credit card fee they’ll also do credit cards for payment. Please continue to support this small business.

genesis villatoro The only way I will ever go back to this place is if I get a refund. So i’ve been to this place about 4×. For hands and toes. The first time I had a good experience on my toes but a bad experience on my hands, the lady which I do not know her name who did my hands made them very, very thin with the machine my nails normally lasts over one month, especially because I get HARD GEL! But when I come to this place, they only last one week and a half and they start breaking and it’s because the lady uses the machine too long on my nails to remove the nail polish. She does not remove the nail polish like normal nail salons does!! She uses the machine instead it makes my nails very thin . keep in mind i’ve been getting my nails done since I was 15 years old meaning I’ve gone to 20 plus places I have never ever had a bad experience ever in my life until I came to this place. I don’t normally leave bad reviews unless I really dislike the service. But I really have to complain . So the first time I said whatever’s maybe it was my nails but boy was I wrong the second time another lady did my nails so no complaints . But the third time. I saw the girl again and she did my hands and I told her my situation and she still did them very very thin AGAIN and they broke within a week. that is when I decided to go to the nail place and I spoke to the owner. The owner said they could give me a discount I don’t know how much because I never went back. I never went back for the refill . I went somewhere else and finally decided to come back again after 4 months . I went back again November 22 Friday around 10 AM. That’s when they open. Keep in mind I NEVER ASKED FOR THE DISCOUNT I ignored it because I just felt very bad and I do not like complaining like this. Anyways What a coincidence the same girl that keeps messing up my nails is there. Reason I’m stating the time and date is so the owner checks the cameras and sees the girl who did my nails. She was the only one there at the time until her coworkers started walking in 20 minutes later I was the first customer that day And of course now my toes and my hands are falling apart. They are broken. Even after getting HARD GEL. Within a week and a half. How is that possible?? I have never experienced this in my life. and it’s only been one week and a half. I still tipped her because I’m not an ass but I will never ever go back again. Only way I will is if I get a free nail set, I am a loyal customer But with this situation I won’t ever go back. Very very disappointed. Waist of my money and time .!!! My hands 4 of my nail fingers are breaking already. And my toe as well!! They bend so easily and break.

Lynn Ivory Update: Previously, I had left Elle Nail Spa a nice review but after my treatment today I will not be returning. I left my old review so you can see that Ive been a regular customer (manicures ONLY). Im posting this as a warning to anyone looking for a nail salon in the area. This is not the place to go to for nail extension work. Their work is clunky and sloppy. You can look at the pictures attached. Look at how chunky and uneven the work is. Probably the worse nails Ive ever seen. When I politely mentioned that I wasnt satisfied (me thinking this is a spot Ive been to before it wont be a problem to fix) I was rudely told they just didnt have time to fix the work. I believe this was the owner which is the worst. Then she yelled that I could just come pick up my refund. Wow. I was stunned. The work is really bad and to react so unprofessionally. There are much better places in the area like Honeybee which is all non-toxic for a great manicure. And try Cloverdale Nail and Spa for nail extensions. Nojan Haddad This is my favorite Nail Salon is Los Angeles. They are the best, most clean, nicest, and most hospitable. The designs they do on my girlfriend’s nails are insanely detailed and fair price. I always get the diamond package for my nails. Both mani and pedi and it feels like you are walking on clouds after they finish.

Suzanne Campbell Elle Nail Spa has been my neighborhood, go-to salon for acrylics, pedicures and waxing since 2015. Michele and her staff are friendly, professional and talented. Since the pandemic, they have remodeled and they keep the salon very clean. They do take walk-ins, but I always call first, they can get very busy... especially on weekends.

Sarah Lynn Marion First time at Lanicure Nail Bar, and I’m very happy! I got a Gel X fill. They were quite busy which I always take as a good sign. Only reason it’s 4/5 stars was for the wait time. I arrived 5 mins early for my 3:30pm appointment (Sunday Afternoon) and had to wait a total of 25 minutes for an available nail artist. I have to get my nails done a specific way for work, and I’m very happy with my result. The nail bar has a huge range of colors and Gel X shapes and lengths. It seemed that everyone in the salon was very experienced, and I felt very comfortable there. They do a 5% discount if you pay cash. Would happily return.

indah n I Got a dip powder manicure on a natural nails for $65 plus $60 with chrome design , then added a 20% tip. It’s definitely pricier than other LA salons I’ve been to, but I appreciate the nail artist’s attention to detail and I love how my nails turned out. If you can swing the higher cost, I’d recommend it. Otherwise, you might find cheaper options around town.

Destiny L I really wanted to like this salon and make it my go-to for nails, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. My builder gel French manicure started chipping by day two, and my cuticles were cut in multiple places, leaving them sore for several days. While the salon has a nice atmosphere, the quality of the work didn’t meet my expectations. When I reached out to address the issues, the salon initially agreed to fix my nails. However, after I responded with my availability, they delayed their response for several hours. I eventually called at 4:27 PM and was told I could come in and wait, but there was no guarantee anyone could help me since they stop doing nails at a certain time. Later, they texted to ask if I could come the following day, but I couldn’t as I was leaving for vacation. I informed them of this, but they never followed up. As a result, I went on vacation with chipped nails and painful cuticles. I’m disappointed with the lack of lasting quality and poor customer service. Sadly, I don’t recommend this salon and won’t be returning.

Yael Egnal Love this place! The hard gel has allowed me to grow my natural nails while keeping them so strong. I’d say the price point is medium but for the quality and durability it’s worth it - my hard gel usually lasts around 5 weeks.

Gabriely Souza I went to this place and I regret sooooo bad! They charged more to remove my old gel polish for pedi and for mani. I did a gel refil and is totally not proportional the nail sizes, I complained before she finish, also about the shape and she didn’t wanted to fix it saying that was the size of my nail, but she let way to short then was and I just hated, all my cuticles are there, really bad job! $160 for all this is crazy! Also they don’t do services together, so I literally spend almost 3 hours for nails, this is insane. Don’t recommend at all.

Josie M. I was recommended the salon by incredibly sweet individual. I’m in the sales industry and have to look top-tier at all times. I drove from Ontario down to Echo Park with one particular individual in mind. I had already called and made an appointment and unfortunately, I was going to be late. I called twice, and actually spoke to the owner. The owner then commented to me in a disapproving tone that her shop was not answering the phone so the calls were being directed to her cell phone. I requested for her to let her nail tech know that I would be late and if it was still OK to go in. Please remember I’m driving into LA from Ontario . After driving almost 2 hours to get my nails done i go into the salon, all the individuals there turned to look at me, but none address me. I asked for June. It literally took June 2 minutes to direct her attention to me. No one was sitting at her chair and she then addressed me letting me know that she would not be able to attend to me because I was late. I let her know that I had called in to make sure that it was still OK to go in. She simply said sorry I have two customers coming up. I politely said thank you and walked out of the salon. Every business has a right to refuse service, but this salon was one of the most unprofessional places that I’ve ever attended. I proceeded to call the owner after I left to let her know I was severely disappointed, and I felt completely disregarded after I made sure that they understood that I Lived an hour and a half away. If I drove that far, it was because I thought they were worth it. Unfortunately, they felt that their client was not worth it. They did offer to send me down with a different nail tech but by this time, I was no longer enticed to sit in someone’s chair at someone’s salon where I knew they were not going to care or appreciate me or my business. I would not recommend this salon simply because Of their disregard towards their clients. I may be a picky client but that means I’m a loyal client and that means that I will always appreciate the work and the time that is instilled in me. Your work does not go unnoticed or disregarded and I will always tip.

Sunny Trac I have been coming to Twin Nails and Lovely Lashes for a decade. Tanya is the boss and she always accommodates me when I want eyelash extensions and/or waxing. She is fast and literally does the best job. The whole staff there has been servicing me and my girls and family/friends for years with manicures and pedicures. They are all attentive and make every experience feel fun and also relaxing. I am happy to support small, woman-owned, person of color businesses and I would highly recommend Twin Nails and Lovely Lashes.

Ayu Tanaka FYI I don’t normally write reviews unless I think it is necessary… Went in for a pedicure for a vacation—was immediately sat and worked on a few minutes later. I was upsold to a gel pedi but didn’t realize it was an additional $17 to the service, I thought that it was included in the service I selected ($58). Having the pedicure itself was fine, and the person who did my nails was nice and checked multiple times if I was ok. During the service there were a few ants crawling around the seat which I flicked off. Was fairly fine with the service, though it ended up costing $84 without tip which I felt was steep given the atmosphere + bugs + the quality of items used (like the exfoliant, lotion, etc). Didn’t hit until a day later when my toe started aching. Then another one. And when I got on my flight it was hurting so bad and when I took off my sock my two of my toes were swollen, achey, and pus was coming out of it. Sadly at that point I was stuck on this flight for 14+ hours and going on trip where I will be walking a lot. My toes are getting worse and I had to go to a pharmacy in a different country I don’t know the language and get medicine for this paronychia RIP

Lynette Dixon Edited to address the comment: 1) I called to inquire about getting my nails fixed before the two week period and was told you all could not accommodate me until after the window due to being closed for renovations. 2) Please show me where Ive gotten discounts at your business besides using my loyalty points after spending $300. At my recent appointment, I tried to use my points after surpassing $300 in spending and was told they no longer took points. I do not ask for freebies but demand I get the service I pay for. If I wanted $40 service, Id go to the $40 spot. If it makes sense to you for your customers to have to come in multiple times within two weeks to fix an fill acrylic and gel polish, that shows the quality of your services and products. 3) The only honest thing you said is that youre too cheap to run your business earnestly. Waste your money at your own risk! I got an acrylic fill about two weeks ago and my polish started chipping after three days and my nails started lifting less than two weeks later. The prices are too exorbitant for such poor quality. I have been a loyal customer of the business for three years now and have not minded the prices because the quality and service matched. After spending about $125 for a design and fill, I have to get a fresh set which is ridiculous. When I called to complain and see how they would remedy the problem, the manager refused to address the problem and hung up on me. I was shocked by the rudeness and unprofessionalism. There was a recent change in management and the quality and ethics of the salon has suffered. Before this change, the owners and managers stood behind their work. On the rare occasion I had an issue, they would fix it without question. Clearly, this is no longer the case.

Leandra Dorta Ive been going to Polished for over 4 years now (first and only place Ive gone to since moving to LA) and I have no complaints! no matter what design you want, they will take care of you and the results are always spot on. Ive barely ever had issues with availability, whether it is walking in or scheduling an appointment, and the staff is so friendly and kind. they always make me feel like all my needs will be taken care of and that they value me as a customer. plus, im constantly getting compliments on my nails because of how beautiful they always turn out. couldnt recommend it enough. here are some sets ive gotten just this year.

Honey Blakeman Without a doubt the best nail salon I have ever been to and I’ve easily been to hundreds, from Bombay to Barstow. Everyone there was so attentive and communicative, they helped you get exactly what you wanted, from color to length to shape. My nail technician even put up with my utter inability to relax my hands and angle my fingers correctly. The pedicurist was such a darling and took extra time detailing my toe nails and complimenting the color. You can tell they take extra care and pride in their work and want you to look and feel your best. While being efficient and quick too. Really can’t say enough amazing things about this salon and if you’re looking for a really great salon that’s also reasonably priced, look no further. Update: came back all the from Texas and got my nails done here again and they were twice as incredible!! So much attention to detail. Would give 11/5 stars if I could my

Bree Jones This is probably my 5 or 6th time coming here and everytime it’s something. They’re just very sloppy but there so close to me so I’ve ignored the little mistakes for quite awhile but I can no longer give this business anymore money. I received a full set that resulted in my having a splinter like object in the skin of my Index finger. I really think it can get infected so I know have to go to an urgent care to get it checked out. It’s so painful and my finger is now bloodshot red. I just received the full set yesterday and woke up to my finger like this. The place really isn’t sanitary or ever cleaned, I just don’t recommend

Lindsay Benay I have been getting my nails done for the better half of 15 years and I hate to write a review like this, but after having 2 terrible experiences I think its important to let this place know where they are falling short....unfortunately both experiences were with the same nail tech, so I feel bad as this may reflect badly on the business as a whole or the other techs who may be great. First off the last time I was here was a few months ago...I had just moved to the area and was looking for a convenient place to get my nails done on my off days. The service started off by me asking for a fill-before I could stop her she was already cutting my nails off with the nail clippers, so I was of course getting charged for a full set even though I had asked for a fill. Second, the tech starts filing my nails with the drill and pressing so hard it is burning my nails, she also nicked me 3 times and made me bleed each time. I considered leaving multiple times because honestly it was the most painful manicure I have ever gotten in my life. In addition to that I had told the nail tech exactly what I wanted, but she kept trying to upsell me. By the 3rd time I just repeated exactly what I wanted to try to get the point across. At this point I cant wait to get out of this place. Her demeanor was anything but friendly welcoming or hospitable, and the service was anything but enjoyable. After such a bad experience I decided I would not go back to that place. I considered writing a review then, but thought maybe that lady was just having a bad day....Today, the place I have been going was closed for some reason. I was in a hurry and I figured I would give this place another shot. There are many techs in house, so I though the odds of me getting the same lady again were slim, but I was wrong. I didnt remember what the girl looked like from last time, but as soon as she started chopping my nails off after I had clearly asked for a fill I realized It was the same lady. She started with her upselling again and even though I had mentioned my nails were very sensitive in hopes that she would be more careful , she went on with the aggressive filing with the drill. After getting nicked yet again I told her I was going to need to go somewhere else to get my nails done. This has been my worst nail salon experience twice now. I had a 30 minute electrolysis session done today, a nail service should in no way be anywhere close to as painful as that. So disappointing as I would have been a regular customer here with convenience of the location.

Nicole Vargo I’ve been with Katie for 3 years. She recently moved to this location and I’d follow her anywhere. This new location is brand new, with comfortable chairs and an extensive list of services. I’ve had great pedicures here, with excellent service but Katie is simply the best. She is so creative, she can do anything you can think of. I love to ask her for ideas and come up with something unique. Her nail art is spectacular. This should be your next nail salon.

Carolyn Li If you expect your gel manicure to last more than 3 days, don’t come here. I got a gel manicure here and it chipped 3 days after I got it done while I was traveling. I went back 6 days later after I returned from my trip to see if they could fix the nail and they refused and wanted to charge me. Terrible quality for a $60 gel manicure. I’ve been coming here regularly for the last few years but their quality has gotten so much worse and the customer service is non existent.

Natalia VENEGAS SANCHEZ I’ve been coming to this nail salon for a while because the nail artists are talented, but unfortunately, the front desk staff ruins the experience. The woman at the front desk is incredibly rude, and the pricing here is inconsistent and unclear. Prices seem to change without any apparent reason, and they often charge more at the end than what was initially quoted. Today was the final straw. I asked for a price adjustment because I was quoted one amount at the beginning of my service, but at the end, they decided to charge me more. The woman at the desk even acknowledged the different price but refused to honor it. Instead, she preferred to waste time and materials removing my nails rather than make a simple adjustment. I was ultimately forced to pay the higher price she decided on. There’s zero respect for customers here, and the work ethic is questionable. While the nail artists do a great job, the poor management and lack of transparency make this place impossible to recommend.

J. S. Id like to first emphasize the really lovely job the individual manicurist did, applying polish -- the only service I came in for. I was happy with the care with which she painted my nails with my own polish I BROUGHT IN (which were unpainted when I arrived and I didnt have time for a manicure). That said, customer service goes a long way. I felt compelled to share my experience, as the disappointment lingers a bit, and perhaps the owner may rethink her inflexibility regarding accommodating requests. I originally walked in and was told I could only pay cash, and not use a credit or debit card to pay for any services below $50. I would need to get cash from an ATM (they have one on-site, which charges $2; with my banks $3.95 additional fee from an out-of-network ATM service, it seemed a waste of money). I just wanted to have my nails painted (that service is $20 here; a full manicure is $30). I left to find my banks approved ATM service, and returned 30 minutes later with cash in hand, and pre-paid, adding a 25% tip for the nail tech herself, and handed this to the owner. Upon leaving, I asked if I could please have a receipt (as I will be reimbursed by a print production I booked a job with, which last minute requested a certain manicure look they wouldnt have someone on hand to provide at the next mornings shoot). The owner handed me a little printout that indicated I paid $20 for a service there. I asked if she could please include the $5 I added for the stylist, as I was submitting this to be reimbursed, and thats indeed what the visit cost me. She said "no, I cannot do that." So, not only on one hand did she accept a cash payment from me with no record of it in the form of a credit or debit card transaction, but yet wouldnt afford me the courtesy of documenting for my OWN purposes the actual amount spent at her nail salon, after it was time-inefficient for me to leave to get cash and come back (which I did). Is it in the scheme of whats happening all over the world a catastrophe? Of course not. But times on a lesser scale are challenging for a lot of people, and when a customer is making the effort to aid YOUR business in being of service, it would be lovely to practice MUTUAL consideration, from my perspective. That was my first experience at this salon.

Tiffany Moran I keep coming back to get my nails done by Sarah. During the many years I have been coming I have always been satisfied with her work. I feel safe coming here even during covid times as she makes sure each client has their temperature taken and wash their hands. My nails always look elegant and classy. The gel manicure lasts for 4-6 weeks and so do the crystals. Sarah is really good with nail art/designs and if you love bling this is the place for you.

Tammy Towns After going to Yelp and finding excellent reviews here, I called at 0950 on Saturday and got an appointment for 10am for a gel mani/pedi. First of all, there is plenty of FREE parking in an underground garage. Relief!!! I walked in and was greeted warmly and immediately seated. Helen did my pedicure and manicure. I felt pampered for the next two hours. She took her time, we had excellent friendly conversation and I left there feeling so spoiled! My toes and fingers thank you!!! I have found my new go to place for mani/pedis!!!!

Samoan I’ve been sitting in the parking lot since 850AM. The door says they open at 9AM. It’s 9:33 AM and no one is here. I called and they said they open at 1030 and only do appointments in the morning but it says walk in are welcomed big as day on the door. In addition, he asks me to come back at 10am but you just said you open at 1030? The reviews were right! What type of business operates like this? This is my first time coming also and I don’t know of ANY established business with a storefront that does not open at the hours on the door or on your listing on google. This is wild! But- I am going to sit here to see… I’m kinda scared to get any services from them and maybe I should follow my 1st mind! And it’s my birthday today

Kelsey Rodriguez I’ve come here several times and about every other time, I have one great gel manicure that lasts weeks and then one that starts chipping immediately. I came in a couple months ago after probably 7 of my 10 nails had chipped within a week. They charged me $25 to redo the polish, which I was hoping could just be touched up for free or a discount since it fell apart so fast. The redo looked great and lasted solid for weeks with no issues. Then last week I went in for a mani/pedi and loved the results on both, but the gel mani has already chipped on 3 nails just 2 days later. I don’t really want to go in again so soon to pay another $25 to have them touch up the nails, so I’ll probably just leave it. It should definitely last longer than a couple days without flaking off though; they even told me last time that it should last for 2 weeks and then still charged full price to repaint. I’m not sure what the difference is, but I think the salon is nice, quality is good, people are friendly, prices are fair, and I’ve always been able to walk in without an appointment. I just wish the mani would be more consistent in how long I can go without it breaking off.

Laura Del Mar I went on Friday to get my nails done, hard gel, they charge me 15 extra for “French design” which no other places charged me for a basic French so I paid 65 total plus tip. That Sunday, 2 days after I got my nails, they were completely damaged, one of them broke (even if they used hard gel), they did the manicure again on Monday with no fee, at that point it was 80 from the first manicure plus tip for the new manicure so it was almost a 100. And now, one week later I have 4 nails completely damage. The girls there are so nice, but I’m not sure if is the product that they use or what but I feel so bad that I paid 100 for a FRENCH NAILS that lasts less than a week. So disappointed.

Fariha Malik I had one great experience here and one absolutely terrible experience. The first time I went I got my nails does by Sue and she did just an amazing job on my nails. I chose a design and she did it so seamlessly. I don’t always go here because you have to book an apt far in advance. I decided to make an apt because one of my nails broke and conveniently they had an open spot that week. I got a design and I would appreciate if the nail tech could communicate that she could not draw the design for one of the fingers then I would have chosen another design. My nails started turning dark after the 2nd or 3rd day of getting my nails done. I got a base coat with white design and my nails were dark. I didn’t want to cause problems but I paid close to $100 for just my acrylics refill that I can get elsewhere for a better job for half the price. Not to mention I was in there for like 2 hours. After about a week I decided to reach out because my nails were disgusting and I had to get them re done. They did try to accommodate which I appreciate and told me to come in and get a new polish with the same nail tech but the part that bothered me was they claim that’s the appropriate price for their work. I highly recommend Sue but after my second experience there I won’t be returning.

She did a fantastic job!!!! I ended up getting French tips and a gel pedicure. 10/10 recommend them. The place is also very clean and adorable.

Kayla Coe My friend and I are visiting LA this week, and we were looking for places to get our nails done at. Most of them were completely booked, however Tina’s Nails came in clutch! The lady at the first desk(marble) paid close attention to the detail of my nails and made sure to go back and re-check for any mishaps. My friend is in the military and has some restrictions, but the lady at the last desk was able to help her and picked out this nice pink nude for her! Her nails look amazing and I’m so happy with the results!

Kaitlin Chin I never write a review. The women who did my nails was so rude. I called prior before coming and I asked how much the pedicure was. She said 30$ for regular pedicure, I came right after and then she started to roughly do my toes. Didn’t scrub my whole feet, only bottom. Then I saw her pulling out the light for gel and then I said I wanted regular. Then she said it was an extra 5$ for removal of my gel. Then I asked her if she had a sign for it, she pointed to the sign but the charge is not even on the sign. She says it’s 5$ removal everywhere which is not true! She starts yelling at me and keeps yelling at me. She said I am not yelling at you, I am raising my voice. I told her she didn’t have to yell at me and we can speak to each other respectfully. Honestly worst nail experience I’ve ever had. Hope no one comes here! She thought I had a issue about the 5$ but it wasn’t even that! More so, she was very rude worst customer service…. Just read the response. First off, I never had an appointment. Second I called asking how much was for a regular pedicure, you said 30$. Third, you told me you were gonna give me a ticket of charge during the process of the pedicure. You told me after I saw you pulling out the gel light. Another thing I was not complaining. I asked what the ticket of charge was for. Then I asked if you had a sign on your service menu. Then you pointed to the menu and the 5$ dollars service is not on there. Why point to the menu saying it’s on there when it’s not. You pointed to the 15$ acrylic removal. So get your facts straight. Don’t tell lies! Be truthful and be a good human being. It’s not appropriate for you to be yelling at a customer when I was respectfully talking to you. Shame on you for lying! But it’s okay because the universe knows the truth. It’s okay to admit to being wrong.

Shacy Villatoro The owner pushed me into trying the gel x instead of the full set acrylics, that I asked for, for a higher price. So I figured I’ll try it out to be polite. This was done Friday and today is Monday. Literally 3 days ago and 3 of my nails have already fallen off. This place is a waste of money and time. Poor quality products.

Lindsay Riipinen Pedicure states it includes sugar scrub, lotion, hot towel for the option I chose. They told me they don’t actually include that anymore and it should have been crossed out. So I paid $45 for a gel pedicure that literally was clipping my toes and painting. Extremely high price for not much being done after the menu said all of that was included.

Michelle Pages I have been coming here for months since its only a 2 min walk for me. I have had almost every nail tech do my hands and/or feet and out of all the places I have been to I can tell you that it was quality and solid work all around. I wear sneakers for work and can work anywhere from 3 hours to 12 hour shifts depending on the day. Lord knows how thankful I am for this place they always go above and beyond on my poor feet. lol

Alyson Hendrix I went for the first time today. I live super close by, but had been a little deterred by reviews about the owner/front desk man. I want to first say that he was very nice and I had no issues with him. I called when they opened and asked if they had any availability for a manicure and pedicure. I was told to come in at noon, arrived at 11:50, and told to come back about 30 minutes later. This was not a problem since I was not in a hurry. My pedicure was fantastic, i believe the womans name is Julie. She was thorough and meticulous. I 100% would go back to her. My manicurist I believe was new, maybe named Sabrina (i apologize, Im awful with names). She didnt soak my nails at all. She used the cuticle solvent and got to work, but it would have been much better had they soaked in water first. Overall, she was nice, but I had to remind her to file my nails as she was about to start polishing them with zero filing. I literally just cut them quickly using a nailclipper the night before, so although theyre suuuper duper short (think 5-year-olds hands) they were desperately in need of a quick filing. Ive attached pictures to show the quality of her work. Oh. She also got polish on my pants, which she did point out at the end and apologized. Not a big deal, but only cause i dont care about these sweatpants. If i only got a manicure, i would give this place 1 star, but the pedicure was excellent, so I averaged it to 3 stars. Hopefully Sabrina just needs more practice. I will go back and see Julie(?) for a pedi and hopefully mani too in the future.

Rose Valerie four days ago I went to go get Gel X on my nails and got charged $140 only for My nails to fall off four days later. I went back and asked of the girls too fix one of my nails fell off and as soon as I went back home, another nail fell off two hours later. I am truly disappointed because I had to pay so much money for a basic french tip And even tipped them on top of that And they didn’t even last a week. They told me that my nails would last three or four weeks. If you are looking to get Gel X This is not the place to come. They won’t last and they overcharge.

I came here on the 17th. paid 155 plus tip for regular polish pedicure and regular polish w/ tips. already expensive and the nail technician nickel and dimed me for everything and insisted I tip her more which was ready bad vibes and tacky. today is the 29th I came back because since it’s been less than 2 weeks they should at least offer to fix them. they did not! she said it’s been 2 weeks which is wrong it was only 10 days and the first night I had them they popped off. do not go here! overpriced chop shop nail salon, not even luxurious and they nails dont even last.

Loren Dixon Vicky did my nails. Vicky is amazing. She cared about the health of my nails and did an excellent service. I got a gel polish change and my real nails were cracking at the sides and she fixed them and they’re growing beautifully. Thank you Vicky!

Marie Wingate I arrived at 730. The store hours says it closed at 830. I came for two nail fix and they refused to service me claiming to be busy when one of the techs were finishing with a client. They are lazy!

foxx brown I paid $80 for a refill. They are over priced and they change their prices every time you go. Good job on the nails but inconsistent pricing. My nail broke the day after getting them done and when I went back to get it fixed they tried to turn me around.

I always show them a photo of what I want and I get an even better set of nails!

Mia s It’s really not worth it for the service you get. I’ve been going here for years since before they switched locations. It’s always been on the cheaper side (definitely not a luxury experience) but they got the job done and you knew what you’re paying for. That being said, I always let go/overlooked the imperfections with my manicures and pedicures (I’ve been cut multiple times) because the price was so good. If I wanted something better I knew where to go. The last time I went here though will unfortunately be the last. They raised their prices and the service is the same if not slightly worse. You definitely have to know what nail techs to go to and who not to go to which you shouldn’t have to do. They should all be good and have amazing attention to detail. I’ve attached images of my last manicure with them. Funny enough my pedicure turned out beautiful and that’s because I had two different people working on me. So you can really see the difference between techs. It’s unfortunate I won’t be back but there’s a lot of salons in LA

The Amber Smoke I came in 2 weeks before I was set to get a manicure because I saw the shop being built. I told the lady I wear my real nails and they look like fake nails but theyre real and I need someone who can do my nails with care. She told Annie or Kevin would be the best choice for those types of nails. I felt she was a little cold after. When it was time to get my nails done I called and made my appointment. I asked for Annie or Kevin and they booked the appointment with someone different when I arrived. I told the woman that these were my real nails. She gave my a smart and cold reply, almost like "so". It took me 6 months to grow my nails out after someone filed them too low. Once she started everything was moving along normally until she flipped my hand over to "clean" the nails and filed my real nails on the inside. I started pouting because I realized that she had thinned out the nails and no other technician has ever done that on my real nails. The woman who did my feet was coughing and then took her mask off and gloves and started massaging my feet with her bare hands. Now after 6 months of no issues, 4 of my nails have broken. Not the warmest place and not good for nail health.

Brielle Montalvo I’ve been a loyal customer at this nail salon for years, and while I’ve had my share of ups and downs, I feel it’s important to share my recent experience. Over the years, I’ve encountered some staff members who have not been particularly friendly or attentive. There have been instances where I felt they were trying to take advantage of me by overcharging me. However, during my latest visit, I had the pleasure of being attended to by a wonderful lady who completely changed my perspective. She was incredibly sweet and understanding throughout the entire process. Even though she accidentally cut me and made me bleed a little, her genuine apology showed that she truly cared about my comfort and satisfaction. Despite the minor mishap, the outcome was fantastic! My nails turned out beautifully, Because of this positive experience, I will definitely be asking for her specifically on my next visit!

Melly Ramos I dont think I need to explain what the problem is in the picture... all my nails are not filled correctly they are deformed some are thicker than others. The lines of the nail polish arent even straight at all as you can see in the picture. They have paint missing on them as well this is not worth 65 dollars at all... I dont understand how you can let the customer leave like that. Im way to nice to tell someone they arent doing a good job but come on now why? My nails are an absolute mess Im so sad and disappointed. The ladys who do eyebrows are very good which is why Im sad about this rating.... but I hope I can fix them and at least be satisfied. A man did my nails FYI.....

jazmin anaya Horrible! Me and 2 other friends came here. I got a full set and they got pedicures. Our experience was the worst ever!! If I could give no stars I would. Their pedicures was bad. They werent given any time to choose a color of their liking and the women that did their nails left their nails crooked and blamed their toes. (They have straight toes btw) they also left cuts on them . Didnt clean it right. Then after they were done. My friends were pressured to give tips for bad service!! My experience was the worst. They guy left me cuts all over my fingers. Didnt give a choice between gel or regular nail polish. I had to get gel. They are crooked, didnt give me the color I wanted. Then once we were close to be done I went to wash my hands came back and there was someone in my seat and my phone and purse were on The floor!!! Then they over charged me. For short nails. Then the person who charges people was yelling at me because their credit card machine wasnt working and blaming my card! I told him do it again and it went through. The whole time I heard him yelling at other customers too because they were being charged for things they didnt even get. They also yelled at my friends because they were paying cash and looking for the amount to pay them.Overall bad customer service, bad job, messy stations, lack of communication, just bad horrible never again going!!! (Went into detail for you guys to know the experience yall more than likely are going to get.)

Jae Well never be going back. Came in with my partner, they took us both in and got started on his feet right away. Left me soaking in water for 20 minutes while I had to watch my partner get serviced.

S R I had went there a couple of times and my only complaint was that they were expensive but this will be the last visit here since I now have a acrylic nail injury due to carelessness. I should have known something was going to go wrong because the lady that did my nails had done it too quickly. Also she did not speak good English or if she did speak English she was ignoring me. The place is good but just make sure they speak good English and if they are not responding to whatever you are talking about please get a different person or go to a different store.

B I could never recommend this place to someone. The service isn’t good and when nails are done bad they act like they don’t see it. There might be one or two workers that actually try and satisfy customers but the rest are careless and do mediocre work for the price. I have been here multiple times thinking if I tried someone different I would have a better experience but I left very unsatisfied and will not be back.

The customer next to me was complaining about the fact that they gave her the wrong color and the employees had been talking about her in their language in front of all the customers. I waited patiently for about 45 minutes to be seated. As I’m getting my nails done the woman cuts my skin about 4 times. I brought this concern to the main employer who said they were not responsible for cuts or bleeding and would not discount. He gave me two options: stop where we were at or continue without discount. So I left halfway done with my nails. Worst customer service. Photos for evidence. Will not return and do not recommend to others. If I can give less than one star I would. Rude and unprofessional, overpriced.

Hazel Imogen I hate leaving negative reviews, especially because the staff is really friendly but I wish id have read this review before going. I ended up walking in for removal, builder gel, and tiny heart designs. I’ve had this same service multiple times at another salon in DTLA for $60 (max $70 with design) unfortunately this salon was closed today and as I was heading out of town tomorrow I had to quick pop in somewhere else. My nails look adorable but cost $115 (not including tip). If I knew that beforehand I would have called around a few places. It was genuinely a bit shocked after they told me at the end. If you don’t mind spending that much, they do a good job- I just know there are better prices downtown for this same service (including removal, hard gel and designs) who do just as good for a much more reasonable price.

Merli Echevarria Staff were friendly but the work is not good at all. I brought my mom in so she could relax but the gelx nails they applied burned her nail too much. She was flinching and even left scared to get her nails done again. Not only that, my nails only lasted 1 week. I have 5 missing now and we came in September 13. very disappointed. Will not be coming back.

Mikelle M Y’all the first time I came here.. it was cool, I got a manicure & a pedicure. When I came in today and only asked for a manicure, they were visibly upset and proceeded to rush through my manicure! Then as she started, I was clear that I wanted a basic manicure, no gel, no polish, only a quick buff at the end! She says $40. I said mam, can I see your price list.. she showed the list, and it was clearly only $20. When I pointed it out.. she proceeds to laugh & say.. $20 etc.. it was weird! My nails have honestly only been clipped. That’s it.. & uneven at that. Encourage folks not to come here.. I think it was just this particular person.. but still.. place is weird.

Angel Rodriguez Learned a lot today. When the color palettes are too filthy to get a good reference of what color they are, that should probably be the first sign to not continue. When there are only obviously used orange files in the containers labeled “new” is another sign this place is not a good one. When they neglect to clean and dispose of used tissues at the station they seat you in, is definitely another sign. I went back home to reshape my nails as well. Don’t go here. So many great places to go to to properly treat yourself. As a cosmetologist who works in the beauty industry, this is unacceptable. There is no excuse for them to not clean.

A C Just got a gel pedi & mani and had a great, amazing experience! I haven’t gone to the nail shop in over a year and felt like I was shedding OFF 2020! LOL! I recommend everyone to do the same. Kathy did my feet and exfoliated & massaged them so well!!! I’ll for sure request her again. Also, they do NAIL ART if your looking for that type of service. I didn’t get it done this time, but will get it done next time. You do need to make an appointment, yet I’m sure if they’re not busy maybe you can walk in. Call ahead to make sure. Vivian did my hands and also did an amazing job! They have massage chairs. They use fresh tools opened up in front of you and the tubs are layer in plastic which I believe is super important! I felt very comfortable being in there. Make sure to bring cash. They have an ATM there if needed. I live in downtown, so I’m able to walk there. However, there’s parking across the street for those who need to drive. I will definitely return and enjoy their services again. I feel amazing and appreciate the customer service and quality of service I received. Thank you!

Jennifer Murcio Calling State-board ASAP! As someone who is in the same industry this is a very unsanitary nail salon to do your waxing and nails! For the waxing: Double dipped at it’s finest she said every one gets one stick the minute I said no by state-board it’s a new stick each dip! I stopped and didn’t continue with my lips getting waxed! The wax had hairs!!! And the bottles did too! Plus she is using the same razor for brows!! Guy upfront is rude no customer service. I can only imagine the pedicure implements DONT disinfected if u care about your health don’t come here stateboard needs to close this facility down or they need to get their business straight! I SHOULD OF LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS BEFORE ENTERING

Magdalena Vazquez My daughter got her nails done at this nail salon and when she got home I was upset with how they cut her fingers and cuticles. She was excited to try a new place but she came back super dissatisfied. Not only were her fingers bleeding but she didn’t get the service she asked for. The nail tech at station #7 proceeded to add glue to one of the cuts on her finger to what I assume was to stop the bleeding. My daughter said the lady was being rough while handling her nails and seemed in a rush. I usually don’t write reviews but when I called the salon the man at the front disregarded us and showed no interest on this issue. I wouldn’t recommend this place, that being said, the only nail tech that actually seemed to care and does a good job at acrylics is Michael. Nunca pensé que un lugar podría hacer esto. Lastimaron muy feo a mi hija. Le cortaron sus dedos y le pusieron pegamento en sima de una de las cortadas. Por favor tengan cuidado con quien vayan y a los lugares que vayan. Ojalá que no se le infecten las cortadas. No vayan a este lugar.

Joselin Ordoñez This place is ok. Their prices are not as high as other nail places. However, you get what you pay for. I’ve been coming here since they opened, and up until today I would’ve given it 4 stars. Whenever I show them pictures, they say “okay I can do it,” but it almost never comes out right. Then when you ask for shorter nails, they say that your nails are already short enough and refuse to cut them “too much.” I’m 16 and I need to do work with my hands, so I can’t have nails that are too long. My nails are naturally long, but the size they do it is still too much for me. My mom’s nails are the same. I convinced her to get acrylics today, and the technician hurt her finger and didn’t do it how my mom wanted it. For my nails, they also left gaps where you can see my natural nail on the sides. Their manicures with regular and gel polish are okay, and their pedicures are too, but their acrylics are not that great. If you do go, there are some really good people. Ask for Helen or Tina.

Yesenia Lugo It’s horrible I waited for an 1hour and a half to get a dip powder. I went in and your a pedicure and manicure they seated me for my nails but to do acrylics what they wanted I said no and they had me wait a long time. Then as I asked how much was it just for my pedicure because I didn’t wanna wait more having 4 more workers not doing anything. The guy was I will just do but a messy he left power everywhere and as well doesn’t look like a dip powder manicure job he did definitely won’t be coming back…

Rosys Lashes They just don’t do what you want. You tell them one thing and they do something else. Manager of the establishment is very inappropriate with his customers thinking it’s OK to touch their butts or talk to them a certain way. They do have a long time being at that location but truthfully I do feel like the STATE BOARD needs to check up on how they maintain their cleanliness! They have their nail technicians with minor allergic reactions to their monomers and still working on customers. I wanted a GEL manicure and had my other nails removed They did acrylic and no manicure just went straight to cutting my cuticles dry !
