Barty Prakash Jody, the older lady with glasses and makeup did my pedicure. I am so disappointed with the service. She was extremely SLOPPY with her work and didn’t let me relax. She was very rough and sped through the service. I asked to keep my nail square and she cut a lot from the sides of my big toe and it looks weird. She kept twisting my big toe and giving me discomfort at many times. While brushing my feet in the tub she was so sloppy the water splashed over my pants. Also, she kept putting the UV light on my right leg to cure the polish & it sat on my skin. Now I feel the skin burning. My first and last time here.

Adriana Berndt I LOVE THIS PLACE! MY FOREVER NAIL SALON NOW! I used to go to lavender nails in lakecrest village and was a patron for years. During my pregnancy (6 years ago) and ever since I loved doing my nails as my only self care thing. Lavender just never gave me good service..I always had to wait long and had ppl get served before me as Im already sat. Or my 5 year old wants her nails done and I explain we want to sit next to each other and go same time..this was the kicker. They sat my daughter so far away and served and sat ppl for 20 mins before ever touching her hands and feet. I know shes a child but shes a paying customer who wants a little experience you know!? A little pamper. Shes a sweet patient kid too it just sealed the deal I need new service. Hollywood nails got us right in! No wait! Mai was amazing to me and my kiddo just such a sweet lady. We sat next to each other and she got her mani while mama did and some chit chat. She loved it! The prices are better too! I recommend making an appointment they always have availability and its just more streamlined with an appt. I have been going back religiously every 2 weeks and Mai is the best we well as the gal with long hair who sits next to her. She always chats with my kiddo and makes her feel special. Laura Buzzard I called here and asked if they could do my dipped nails and a pedicure.. they said yes and made an appointment for later the same day. When I arrived I waited and when they called me to start they said I could only get pedicure only cause they didnt have time to do my nails! What is the point of calling and making an appointment if you are not going to serviced with what your appointment was for to begin with.. The girls working there just laughed when I rejected to only get a pedicure .. I wont be back .. so unprofessional and lacking in customer service.just to be clear this is not my first time coming here . They were real nice the other times but the work is sub par

Looked up reviews of salons near me and Hollywood nails had pretty good reviews so I gave them a try. I walked in and they were able to see me with just a couple minutes wait. I got the VIP pedicure and it was worth every penny. The salon was very clean and neat and the staff was very welcoming and friendly Will definitely return.

Vicki Feliz-Smith Comfortable and clean. Very efficient and neat. Nice selection of laquer colors, and the sugar scrub on my legs felt really good. The massage chair was a bit distracting, and the pedicurists seemed a little brusque and impatient. This was my first pedicure. I would go there again.

Camile Dorsey I went there on Nov 24th to get my old full set removed and get a brand new one. My experience was wonderful. The environment is full of positive energy. Everyone is laughing and they look happy to work there. Hannah did my nails. She was so patient with me deciding on a color and was very gentle when it came to filing my nails. I’ve had nail artists CUT my cuticles and I always leave with scratches and my cuticles hurting or sometimes bleeding. But THIS place is the best, I will most definitely be coming back!!

Crystal montanez This is the best nail salon in the neighborhood. They have great customer service and a nice atmosphere. They have a unique pedicure spa experience with actual fruits they used along with exfoliant. Its very relaxing. If you need a new nail salon try this one out!

Terry Ann One of the BEST pedicures I have had!! Cindy was so good… I came in with cracked nails and had a gel manicure that I had cracked badly with a stubbed toe. She was able to carefully remove my gel polish, and preserve my nail underneath which I thought was cracked too, and did a better pedicure than I had had previously! She used hot stones and the polish job was PERFECT!! Signature Nails on Folsom was also less expensive than the surrounding studios and was very clean and inviting, even though it is in a strip center that is not upscale. I was very impressed and will be back next time I visit my parents!!

Sheela Caraway Went in for a pedicure today, everything was going great until I asked to have a flower painted. The girl I had switched places with Hannah. She was doing good too but she was wearing gloves and started to get paint all over my feet and ankles. She didnt seem to notice or care until the very end, at which point she proceeded to use a nail file on my skin to remove the paint instead of nail polish remover. Never had someone do that to me before, and so I didnt think much of it at the time but when I got home, I noticed all these red marks on my feet, which kinda ruins it for me. Just a bit disappointing.

Ari I live nearby and decided to check out Passion Nails, and I’m so glad I did! My first visit was with my mom for pedicures, and the service was fantastic—everyone was welcoming and friendly. On my second visit, I brought a coworker; I got a full set while she opted for a manicure. Once again, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed. The salon has a cozy vibe and a great selection of nail colors. The team is not only skilled but also incredibly patient and attentive, creating a wonderful experience every time. He took a lot of care in doing the cleanest possible job and he was very friendly and welcoming. Even offered me water, made sure i was comfortable, and helped me brainstorm my design. Pricey? Sure. Worth it? Yes!

Jaspreet Kaur I loved coming to Blush because not only is it very nice/clean and the staff is exceptional, but the quality was unmatched! And I don’t mind the extra fees, deposit, and overall higher prices because the quality was unmatched. It didn’t feel like I was going to a “chop shop,” like a lot spas are like around Sacramento. I don’t know what changed but there has been a change in quality. I thought you know sometimes nails just want to come out nice but it’s been 3 times that the quality has been lacking. I pay extra for gel and thats not a problem. When I have gotten gel recently, for some reason it’s always lumpy. I thought it was my finger but it’s a different finger every time. It was the worst the last time. From far away it looks fine, but up close you can see the lumps and bubbles. I had gel on my nails previously, and there were bits and pieces from the previous manicure. Blush put the foil to soak one finger at a time and almost instantly, they started to take it off. It had not been long, but I thought she probably knows what shes doing. If they had just taken a little bit of extra time, I am pretty sure it wouldn’t feel and look lumpy. I also understand charging for extra like designs and matte top coat I guess. I sent a reference picture to make sure they could do it or schedule me with someone that was able to but thats not what happened. I got swaying lines. Some lines are too thick or kind of bled around or faded with bubbles. And then Blush charges extra for matte top coat which is fine but at least the quality of the polish, if charging extra, is good. Next day it started peeling off. I cook and I can’t imagine that those specks got ingested somewhere. I have gotten matte before and never have I experienced that or heard of that happening. I admit when Blush does regular plain polish regardless gel or regular, they do a spectacular job but if you add anything else they seem like they are doing for the first time. But the thing is french tips is a normal style to get done but some of the staff can’t do that either. I ask for thin lines and I get the thickest block of white. But the thing is it has only been happening recently. What bothers me is that having good customer service and staff doesn’t cover up the lack of quality. I have never made a review except when asked to and am upset that my first one had to be something so negative. My photos aren’t great and you can’t really see the lumps because of how thick it is in general but you can see the matte peeling off, not so distinctly on other fingers but you can see it on the thumb for sure. I wish I took pictures of the previous ones too.

Lita C I called, no one picked up, instead I received a text message telling me in order to be serviced I had to put $20 down, there was a $5 "supply and demand fee," a guest of mine is not allowed, and all these other demands. It turned me off, and I reminded them that although they serve alcohol in their establishment, there is too much competition in the city for this nonsense. I have 94K views from my GoogleMaps reviews, so Im sure someone will find this one helpful.

J Shah We were visiting the area for a sports tournament that concluded early- we called the salon based on the reviews and the pictures of the salon. The phone call went unanswered BUT a text came in immediately with follow up. We got an appointment for 2 for a few hours later. To confirm the appointment, you have to Venmo $20/ service (all of this is explained in the text) I was having trouble with the phone service and managed to send half the amount after some time. They were gracious enough to text back and waive the required deposit since it was so close to the appointment time. When we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and taken care of immediately. The menu of services is clear cut and add-ons are plenty to suit your needs. I loved that you can pick the scent for your soak! We opted for a basic pedicure for 2 and a basic manicure and one gel manicure. The ladies who took care of us were pleasant, did their work well and we were done in little under an hour and a half. The ladies up front were nice and if we are passing by again, we’d definitely be back! Oh - and they serve you a choice of drinks when you start service- champagne, wine, tea, coffee, soft drinks or juice!

juju berry. Not worth my money. I very specifically asked if she was capable of doing the inspo photo and she said yes! I had to ask multiple times for her to correct the tips because they were crooked. An acrylic set costs $45 . I was charged an additional $5 for tips and $5 for gel polish (which I did not ask for) I was unaware that either cost extra. FOUR days later and my nails are popping off !!!!! There’s no reason three of my nails have popped off already. I had to file the gel and polish off my nails and reshape them. The lady was very nice and sweet but I will be taking my money elsewhere next time!!! By the time my nails were done I chose to go without the diamonds and gems .

Alyssa Millen Price was good. $30 + tip for gel nail. Quality was not great. The color of the polish did not match the swatch. The swatch was a very natural color that blended in with my skin tone but what I got is a bright ballerina pink. I can also still see some of my previous nail polish underneath because it was not fully removed. And one chipped before I even got home because the top coat isnt covering the sides of the nail. Might be worth a shot if the price is right for you but I will not be back.

They do a fantastic job: very clean and they use liners for the foot bath, comfortable massage chairs, great polish selection and offerings, great prices for what you’re getting. It doesn’t matter who I get they’re always great. They also work to make improvements and investments over time- they recently upgraded their manicure chairs! sadaf habib It’s been long time I go to Lavender nail spa for my nails they have been very good I normally do my nails with Andy he works great! But whenever he is not in the salon others are more of in a hurry to just get done with one customer to work with the other customer, no matter how busy they are they try to accept more customers but they don’t care about the quality of their work which is getting worse. Today I called them for an appointment at 12 and told them that I need the appointment to be at 12 so that I would be done in 30 to 40 minutes they said yes, but when I went there I waited till 12:20 but they were busy and they were still accepting walk-in customers so I had to leave because I just had less time and I already let them know but no one cared! I am really disappointed

Cali Wies Today was my first time coming to this salon and I will just say WOW. Kim did both my pedicure and manicure and she was fantastic. She took her time with everything, from shaping and buffing everything out, to the massage, to the actual painting of my nails, not once did I feel rushed. She was extremely gentle when using any tools and very thorough with her work. I dont think she speaks much English but told me frequently how pretty my nails were and made me feel very welcome and at ease. I walked out feeling super pampered. Im not sure how long my nails will last, but I have high hopes. The prices here are great especially for the service you are getting. I will definitely be coming back. The environment is very relaxing (I nearly fell asleep) and clean, and decorated beautifully. The staff are all very kind as well. Lastly, they had a great selection of colors to choose from - a huge plus! This is one of the best salons I have ever gone to, not just in Sacramento/California but of all time. Also, the discount they advertised isnt honored. Update after response to management: The nail tech asked 2 other employees about other brands options because I didnt want DND. I was told that my only option was to leave because thats the ONLY brand yall use. Dont get on these internets to lie and gaslight me about my experience and what I was told. I got my nails done over the weekend, I called the next day and told Diane that I was not happy with my nails and asked if she could please fix them. She gave me an appointment 4 days after!!! She told me to be there at 1030am, I got there and she gave me an attitude and told me she was busy. That my appointment was at 10am, it wasnt. I walked out and will not be going there again. I should have said something that day but I was there for a pedi and already had been on the chair for a long time. I don’t like complaining but what happened today was not ok. My nails look horrible. I’m so disappointed. I had to go to another salon and thankfully they were able to fix them.

Ashley Cantrell The nail tech was nice and did a pretty good job on my nails, but she was really rough with my hands, and my skin was a little raw and painful because she scratched my skin a lot as she was buffing my nails. My friend came with me and agreed they were rough with her hands too and made her bleed a little. Price and quality was good but I would rather try other nail salons before coming back.

Vikki Dela Cruz Got regular manicure and pedicure. Staff are nice and they weren’t pressuring me to get add ons or gel like other nail salons. Pedicure is nice and clean, so would continue to come back for pedis. I wouldn’t come back for my manicures though. They are not meticulous enough when it comes to cuticle cleaning and nail shape consistency. Also, really poor nail polish application even after I asked for them to fix it.

Maria Benavides This has been my go-to place for a year and a half and I have recommended it to multiple people when they’ve asked me where I get my nails done. All of the ladies here are lovely and make you feel welcomed, but I go in to see Zaina specifically. She is always patient with me and how indecisive I am with colors and designs. They are very accommodating with appointments and make it really convenient to schedule. I am usually in here at least twice a month for manicures.

Melissa Roberson My gel manicure was ruined after two days when the polish pealed off. To begin with my nails were not symmetrical. I called many times to let them know and make an appointment to comr back but they never answered the phone. When I showed up in person they refused to fit me in and told me to make an appointment for another day. Avoid this place at all cost.

Evelyn Lopez Mattias I was getting my wedding nails done, before we started I asked if she could do a design. I told her which flowers I wanted and the colors.. She said she could do it. When we got to the designs, she could only do the childish looking flowers that I did not want.. so I had to scrap my entire nail design idea. She also never asked me what shape nails I wanted, she just assumed and started cutting oval.. I wanted square with rounded edges but it was too late because she had already cut my 3 of my nails. Did not leave happy.

Lorence Ramazzini My girlfriend and I have been coming to this salon for over 6 months now. However, recently our experience at this nail salon has been inexcusable and their behavior will be reported to the BBB. My girlfriend is Latina and I am Asian. When I come with her to the salon, which I usually do, the price is always much cheaper than when she goes alone. The price I pay for both a gel mani and pedi is $90 or $45 just for pedicure. Tip is always cash as this is store policy. My girlfriend has also gotten dip manicures and the price is usually $10 more. The screenshot attached only accounts for the times I didn’t pay in cash. Earlier today she went in and they wanted $110 for a dip manicure and pedicure. When she brought up the price difference they made it seem like she was in the wrong and shamed her for being cheap. They then said that different nail techs can charge different amounts based on how they feel they did. They scrambled to come up with an excuse for this outrageous behavior. They also charge to remove the old gel that THEY APPLIED, but only sometimes. Several times they have done rushed jobs and have skipped steps that are normally included in the manicure ie. massage, cuticle trim, cuticle oil, basic things one would expect for the price. Their business practices are shady at best and extremely racist at best. Avoid at all costs. Needless to say they lost our loyal patronage.

Ever since I moved out here 6 years ago I always drove by it and saw that they had over 1000 nail polishes I was like I have to go there and haven’t been anywhere else ever since. I always get compliments wherever I go. It looks like a bad area because of the wash house next door and the check cashing place but once your inside it’s clean, calm and you always leave happy

Mel I came here because of all the great reviews, but I had a horrible experience. I asked for blue and yellow Ombre nails and this is what I got. The nail tech was nice, but she did a terrible job. Each nail is a different shape and the colors are uneven. It wasnt Ombre, she just dipped my entire nail in blue, then immediately dipped it in yellow, resulting in a green color. It took her over an hour and a half to do this. I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. Shealso asked me to pay her through her venmo instead of with my card, so definitely something shady going on there. I will never go back to this place.

Chloe Williams Will not return. The ladies were nice, but the whole service took 3 hours and my nails were not good. Manicurist seemed new, cut my cuticles so bad that she made 3 of my fingers bleed. Then put alcohol on them a couple times where it was just stinging terribly. The nail polish seemed old and clunky. Where it was applied so uneven and having bumps on every nail and didn’t dry even after hours, where it keeps smudging. I am very disappointed especially for how much time and money I spent there.

Cons -I had to ask Ann to change the damp towel she JUST used on the client before me. - The French manicure I asked for was blotchy with uneven lines. She told me "shes not that good at French Manis. Acrylics are more her speciality. Her workers do a better job".... idk how thats a thing when its literally a straight line across the tip of the Nail. She sent me to be serviced by another worker. I sooner realized its because she scheduled with another client to do acrylics. -paint started chipping 2 days after. Not worth $27 for the Mani. Pros -my pedicure was better, cleaner -the "worker" took her time on the pedicure -they we were pleasant and patient The picture below is from this morning. (07/08) My appointment was 07/06. Chipping aside, this is what it looked like when the "worker" did it after I asked Ann to do over the work that she did. Will not be going back

Shafine Houghton Go to the guy. He will have you right. (You might get barked at by “fat mama” their mascot(dog) but she no harm.) Sit bck and watch him do his magic. You will be satisfied. Orange set 1 1/2 months old. Update.. Lee did my last set. When I went back his attitude was completely different. For the last few days he will run in the back of the shop refusing to do my nails. Today, he tells me he don’t do nails anymore while doing a white women’s nail. Black costumers peep how they treat you. I refuse to spend my money at any racist location. They take our money speaking English then turn around and talk about us in their language. He prolly Upset because I was honest about the woman not knowing how to do nails because she don’t it’s my opinion I gave him his props. He does good work, but the racist attitude towards Black customers is not OK. A few of my Sorority sisters also stated when they walked into the shop, they was not greeted and They act like they didn’t want to even touch them, or do their nails. There are any black owned nail shops Sacramento area. Let me know.

Rene Simmons I am LOVING how my nails have been coming out so far. Ive been there twice and this is how my nails came out each time. I am currently wearing the blue coffin nails with gold flakes and Im living for it. I really recommend going there and their prices are so affordable! I am very satisfied.

Lani did an amazing job on my set and made sure they were even and clean! I had times where they didn’t care if I had nail polish or even cut my nails but she did it all ! Allison Lim Place is super affordable ($25 for a regular non gel mani) but my mani chipped on the 2nd day. My nails were completely chipped by a week in so I removed it all and repainted myself. On one hand it was quick so I was in and out in 30 min but on the other hand there’s no ambiance or relaxation, it’s literally get in and get out. I thought they did okay with shaping but painting wise I could do about the same at home.

mendoza madalynn (maddie) Came into TJ Nail and Spa for a pedicure and I was left pretty disappointed. The shop opens at 9:30am but they didn’t open until about 10am. I could tell the person giving the pedicure was in a bad mood and was just on the phone calling somebody the whole time. I waited for her to ask me if I wanted gel but the question never came although she did ask what color I wanted. I told her dark red but she gave me light red… the pedicure was also quick and there were parts that hurt a lot. $25 for a pedicure is cheap, but there’s a reason why it’s $25.

Ruby has a great personality and is very friendly. I got a pedicure and she took her time and it felt great. There are 3 different package. I opted for the middle one and it was super nice. I’ll be back soon. The prices are great and atmosphere is nice.

Kept getting frustrated, and did not do the white part right at all. But my daughters nails came out great. Ty Mo My first time. Generally nice and friendly. But uh check the pictures. One is shiny the other looks matte!! The technician forgot the clear coat on one of my feet. I got a color change bc I didn’t have time for a pedicure and now I have to make extra time tomorrow to get my clear coat. In which I hope there’s no issues with getting the clear coat on. Plus I hate when they polish and cure and then file your nail. You’re filing the polish off !!! I know no one is perfect but when getting a service there IS an expectation.

Dani Alexander I actually was a returning customer. I usually go in and see Leo for my feet, he does an amazing job usually. But just recently I haven’t been able to come back in a month because my big toe is so sore. It’s been a month am now I’m needing to look into if this is more serious than I’m hoping. I’m hoping this shop sees this and starts taking better care of their customers. I didn’t mind being a regular and I tipped pretty well if I do say myself. Plus my pedicures were never cheap. It’s just saddens me that Sacramento is becoming so money hungry, customers safety and satisfaction is thrown out the window.

They were they were super busy, too, (we arrived on a Saturday around 2pm) and it was only a short wait for both our chair openings! Very friendly, they did designs on my nieces nails and the prices were better than most shops, even after tip. Highly recommend. A++ service, felt very comfortable for my first ever visit.

Claudia Rodriguez I have doing my nails here for 2 years but always is the same, they don’t do what you want or they don’t have the color you want! I’ve always comeback because I don’t like to be picky but now I’m tired as you see in the picture I just have 3 days with them and the gel is coming out and also the stones. They use cheap products and do your nails as faster they can ! 1 hr for manicure I think is not enough time ! That’s why the nail came out to easily!

Emily Gavrilenko I have been to the salon 2 times now. The first time, (sept 5) I was taken very good care of. Honestly the best salon manicure Ive ever had. Got the perfect shape gel manicure, perfect polished. Not rushed or skimped. Lasted me 4.5 weeks before I came to get them redone just for the sake of a change. 10/5 stars for that visit. Second time I came in, (Sept 23) I was expecting the same standard of care and quality. The technician did a great job removing my gel, prepping and shaping my nails. But then another client came in who had a appointment with my nail technician. They were early for their appointments. 35 minutes early. After this, my nail technician began laying on the gel very quickly. Leaving gaps on the sides of my nails. She did the three coats as I wanted and I hope that it would flatten itself out, but it did not. I am never one to right bad reviews if it has not really affected me. But I have been growing my nails out and got them done for my baptism and engagement photoshoot this weekend. One of my nails is broken from the weak spot where there was a lack of gel polish. The spots with a gap of Polish were right on the smile line of my nail, where the nail turns White, and where the nail breaks the easiest and most common. Currently, the dents and holes are noticeable, and even if I get them redone before this weekend, one of my nails is broken now. I dont think that this entire nail salon has bad practices. As I said, I had an amazing experience the first time. I would definitely give this nail salon a try, but once you find a nail technician who works to your standard, make appointments with them I guess.

Betsey Love this beautiful and elegant large nail shop with plenty of parking. Best of all no harsh chemical smell. Open 7 days a week. Check open and closing schedule. Free tea, water, or even wine; soothing music; and big screen relaxing videos; massage pedicure chairs. The nail-finish last longer and the price is just right for the amount of work and product these nail workers put in. They even treated my ingrown fungal toe nail which instantly relieved the pain and released the pressure. The nail shop carries many products to help exfoliate the skin and/or keep the nails healthy like the antifungal product. Come check it out. I highly recommend it.

Delilah Ann The experience was mostly positive. There were 4 of us including my niece who is 3. They were very kind to take us without an appointment. We were there just for fun, my mom and niece were our priority. The issue came at the end when I left a tip for my technician. I also provided a little extra for doing my nieces nails, who I assumed was cheaper. The same technician processed the payment with my sister, while I took my mom to the car. When my sister provided tips for the technicians that serviced her and my mom, the employee asked “what about me?”. My sister told her that she already received a tip, and she said it was only $5, which it wasn’t. My sister stunned by the interaction gave her the cash she had, which was like paying for another service. The pressure to tip, I feel was disrespectful and rude, especially as I’m trying to find a nail salon that can accommodate my mom. I thought I found it, but we won’t be returning. In addition, they don’t have kids prices. Just FYI.

She received a warm welcome from the owner (who operates the shop single handed) and her nails were done to perfection without the use of harsh chemicals. Highly recommended!

Trena Turner Loved the customer service and location. I wanted to love the end product (pedicure) but my feet were not as smooth as Im accustomed to and I believe the polish is old. My nail polish started flaking off in one week when my regular polish typically last 3 weeks and more.

Angela Nuno I have been to every single nail salon in midtown and had the great luck to finally find Lily about 3 years ago. I haven’t stepped foot in another nail salon since! Lily’s work is absolutely amazing. I always have her do a pink and white overlay on my (naturally hard) nails and I am always thrilled. She doesn’t apply the acrylic in a big thick ugly mess - nice and thin, her edge is never left and the nails never fall off - ever. And her fills - they are always perfectly blended with no ugly fill line. On top of her wonderful work, she is ALWAYS more than accommodating for appointment times and dates, PLEASE keep in mind you do need an appointment. She’s very busy, but definitely worth any wait you might have and I won’t go anywhere else, ever. She’s also priced more reasonably than anywhere else that I have found in Midtown for the quality of work that she does- She is simply the best. THANK YOU LILY!!!

NK Curchin I recently had a gel acrylic full set done, and I’m extremely disappointed with the experience. This was, without a doubt, the worst set I’ve had at any salon. While the manicurist was friendly, she made several mistakes during the process. She cut my cuticles so badly that they bled, and they’re still burning hours later. The paint job is uneven, with noticeable bumps, and the nails are misshapen. I politely asked her to fix a few things, but the issues were never fully addressed. What’s even more concerning is that I observed her using the same tools on a client before me without sanitizing them. Given that she was cutting my live skin and causing me to bleed, I’m worried that if the tools aren’t properly sanitized, germs could easily be transferred to others. While I’m fortunate I don’t have any blood-borne illnesses, it’s essential for any salon to maintain proper cleanliness to protect clients’ health. In hindsight, I wish I had been more assertive and requested another nail tech to take over, but I tend to be shy and didn’t want to cause a scene. Unfortunately, now I’m left with the need to have my nails redone for a special event, which will cost me an additional $45 plus tip. I’m truly disappointed by the entire experience. Edit to reply to the owner: I am sure I am reviewing the right salon: 2326 Fair Oaks Blvd suite g, Arden-Arcade, CA 95825 I know the two KB Nails are not affiliated. My total came to $90 because I also had a basic pedicure, but the pedicure was fine. I added my receipt to the photos for the owners review. I would appreciate a redo of my nails once my cuticles have healed.

Smart Jinan (Ji-Ji) I expected better based on the rating. I will say that they got to me fairly quick as a walk in but it took time to explain what I wanted and I still had to settle for something I didnt exactly want. The design I wanted, I showed them before even being assigned a tech, so I assumed Id be given to someone who could do it. I was not. She tried, but its like no real pride was taken in the execution and even cut me with the file. My hands are not wonky, theyre very easy to create an even design on. Unfortunately, my nails came out looking like gumby. Theyre uneven, the polish is sub par, and there is dust in the polish. Its not smooth, and theres a bubble in the polish on my thumb. Worst of all, it hasnt even been a week and theyre already lifting and snagging my clothes and hair. I would go back and ask them to fix it, but I feel like itd be a waste. Im already mad I tipped, but I am the type to show appreciation for the effort people put in. I just wish I wouldve spoken up more despite fear of being talked about in a language I dont understand. Not saying that occurred, but I wouldnt know.

Amandeep Kaur My first time going in, with an appointment, the nail lady was a bit rude. But thats nothing new in the nail salon business lol. I love the way my nails turned out, it was my first time getting dip. The final finish wasnt all great. See pics. She didnt clean up the skin and left a lot of gel behind which I will need to peel off now. She also left small fibers on my nails. And, at the end I didnt even get a simple lotion massage! She left my hands feeling so dry! When it was time to pay, she said 40$, when I gave her exactly two 20$s, she said I owe you back 2$......so cheap....she had already counted her 2$ tip!!!!! Besides her crappy service that I received, I still would have tipped her decent! So cheap on her behalf! Not sure if Id recommend them. Thats why I am giving them 3 stars.

18320522 Gel removal = rip off gel from nails. Did not soak them at all. Used several tools to rip them off. Did not feel great. Damaged my nails. Gel nails: Afterwards, she did not trim or shape my nails evenly. Didn’t even bother to compare the hands to one another to see if perhaps they match. Four nails are notably longer on the left hand. Something positive: she cut the cuticles well. I payed 43$ for this. Will not be coming back here again. Absolutely do not recommend for gel nail removal.

L.T. Chosen Came here 3 weeks ago for a manicure which Cindy did a great job at..charged $35. Today, manicure with mermaid polish which should have been $5 extra..they charged $45 and I will never return! Some of the nails have more polish then the others. I paid to keep my peace but wont be back.

I didnt get any names but I walked in asked if they had time for a pedicure they said yes and had a gentleman do my pedicure, I informed him that since my toes turn up a little bit that I usually point them down during the painting process so it doesnt become lumpy not only did he not listen to me but he proceeded to not even scrub my feet or clean the cuticle areas up good but his painting started to become uneven and lumpy I then asked his he could redo my big toes because I wasnt satisfied with them thats when he calls a lady over to come and help. Mind you he already put two layers of color on and it was still on my toes when the lady came and proceeded to just add more layers of paint onto "hide" the imperfections. When she started my nails all of the sudden there were 3 people standing there to watching her do them as they proceeded to speak in their language in front of me (which I found really rude and disrespectful considering I was not happy with the work and they knew that) At this point my nails looked even more lumpy and thick so I kindly asked if she could redo them again because I was not liking how they looked. She then took all the paint off and started again when I noticed they were lumpy again because she wouldnt take the same advice I had given the gentleman who originally did them. I started to point it out to her so she could fix it before she cured the paint to which she responded with telling me I could go to a different place since I didnt like them. Mind you she hadnt even finished them yet. I just found the whole experience to be the worst I ever had and I felt really disrespected. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Kaitlyn Uchishiba Ouch. While clipping my cuticles, the nail tech went really deep and took a chunk out of my ring finger. She put mystery green goop to stop it, but It’s been four hours and it’s still bleeding. The painting is another story. Uneven coat and it already looks like my nails are grown out/the tips aren’t painted. I tried to ask them if they could fix while I was there and they got very defensive saying it was not something they could fix. I also asked for my fingernail polish to be the same as my toe polish and this is what they gave me. That one is also on me for not noticing while she was painting, but definitely not the color I asked for. Hoping my finger doesn’t get infected!

james mckinnon Very poor customer service. You call set an appt and when you arrive they never have you down as if they didn’t take your appt this happened to me twice very inconvenient. Very small location so it’s like you’re almost sitting on top of people. I use to go there but I will never be back. I can take my money else where and get better service. The daughter Amy has a very bad attitude & she don’t like for you tell her what you want. Then if she don’t do what you want or asked for and your not satisfied she gets a nasty attitude. One or two times she did what I wanted / liked the other time very ugly job she’s never consistent with her work. I inform anyone who ask me about Pamper Nails go else where if you want a better Job & Service.

Hunter Sowards Days later and my fingers are still bleeding. I’m so sad to write a review- but I just tried calling and giving feedback about my experience so I wouldn’t have to and they hung up on me. I said multiple times during my appointment that I was being hurt/cut. By the end of the appointment I was bleeding from nearly every finger and three days later am still bleeding. It’s so sad they wouldn’t allow me to give this feedback on the phone because I never want to trash a business before giving them a chance to self-correct. It’s the second time this has happened with different nail techs. Hopefully this review will save someone from having a similar experience.

Leah I walked in without calling ahead, and was still seen immediately. My nail tech was super careful and detail-oriented with my nails. I changed my mind about how I wanted them done after we started, and she was very patient and nice about it. Everyone was very friendly. I always run cold, and my nail tech turned a little space heater on for me, which was so sweet. This place is very clean, despite what some of the reviews are saying. It is a bit cluttered from how many people and products are in such a small space, but that has nothing to do with cleanliness. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for California.

Lullabye House Honestly best experience in a long time , I’m always nervous with conversation but when words where exchanged it felt smooth and genuine with some laughter splashed in there, I had a wonderful full set experience along with pedicure , definitely well needed and I will for sure be coming back !

Stacy Huizar I went here for the first time had a hard time finding a nail salon & a good tech out here especially when I hurt my finger & nail 2 years ago & have not done my nails in 2 years. I got my acrylic nails off, decided dip powered nails is a way to go for my natural nails & did a Valentine’s Day theme nails. They came out really beautiful. i think it was Nick who did them i am so in love them & will be back again next month. The only problem is when my pinky nail was filed on the side to shape them square, I think its over filed or something because where the nail bed & nail is it kinda hurts had to put ointment on it when I got home other then that loved it here

Devin Saechao My girl is new to the Sac area as shes going for college. Needless to say this is her first time getting nails done here, for upcoming Valentine’s Day. I am out here visiting her and she wants her nails done for me, I offered to send her out and pay for it while I get a gift and we were gonna go get her Chili’s craving taken care of after she was done. I get to the Chili’s after I spent about 35 mins shopping because I figured I would get the table and order her Hot Mozz sticks what she was craving most, so about 55 mins after she went inside the salon, 20 mins at the Chilis for me I order the appetizer. A mistake that made it even worse for my girl… I get a text that shes done 2 hours after she went in there for a relatively simple design (first pic) and we meet up, shes starving and boarder-line crying trying to tell me sorry that it took so long and that she didn’t even want to get them fixed because she just wanted to leave at that point and she feels like she wasted money, time, and our day together before I leave back up-state. Design very far off of request, sense of urgency was absent, skill of craft was absent, lack of judgment was absolutely absent as the nail tech believed she pulled it off and seemed proud, lack of customer service and care was absent as these nails cost $70 and for the skewered time frame and botched design job she was offered a $5 discount. If we had the time I would’ve gone in person to demand a refund or a different nail tech or at least some sort of compensation but writing this review is already taking more from our time than I would like, so it is not worth trying to fight over less than $100. Girl came to me starving with tears in her eyes because she felt like she wronged me because of y’all and all I had waiting for her at the Chili’s were cold mozzarella sticks, shame

Staff are friendly and didn’t rush me to choose a color, but I’m reluctant to return when they take advantage like this. I would have made a different gel color choice.

Jessica I’ve been going here FOR YEARS a bad experience yesterday. I made an appointment to get my nails after getting engaged!!!! My manicure is EMBARRASSINGLY bad Jessica even told me to come back later but I wanted them fixed then! After paying 111 dollars for a manicure and pedicure! They can’t fix their terrible work??? They didn’t even trim my cuticles or put lotion on my hands!!!! They didn’t even wash my hands after doing dip! They are chipped already, uneven and they left nail polish all over my fingers. Don’t go here.

Sarah Craft Went for an acrylic set. Took about 2 hours for an okay set. The nails were uneven in thickness and some were lumpy. It’s been one week and some are already starting to lift. Overall the set is not great. The salon itself was clean and well maintained, and service was nice. I enjoyed that they give you a drink too

I often fall asleep when I get a pedicure. The recent remodel looks great too! Conveniently located in Mid-town, parking is always easy to find.

Quinlin Fischer I don’t get my nails done often, and when I do, I’m never really happy with the quality. I wanted to get some new nails for spring, and I am so excited about them. I ended up sitting with Holly, and her work was very clean and detailed. She drilled underneath the nail, making them look very clean, which I haven’t seen many salons do. If I decide to get more, I will go back to her!

Crystal montanez Capital Nails has become my go to nail salon! Since Holly took over it has become such a serene and friendly environment. I am really particular about my nail designs and I always come up with new things I want done and Holly is always ready to help with my nail dreams. Even for pedicures the staff are always so nice and sweet. I loved coming here and bringing friends with. I dont hesitate to recommend everyone come in.

Neena FIND ANOTHER PLACE!!! Called and requested for Angel since she was recommended by my eyebrow lady at the same place. I asked Angel to clean my cuticles while also getting a full set. Highly disappointed when she filed my nails all crooked and when I pointed them out Angel proceeded to tell me “yo eye just crooked the nail fine.” Mind you she made my nails all while wearing HUGE SUPER DARK SUNGLASSES INSIDE THE BUILDING!!! Not only would she stop midway but she decided it was more important to check her Facebook, text others, AND check pictures of other people on her phone during my nail appointment. If you want to have crooked nails, be charged to the tee, be told your eyes are messed up when you point out the flaw then please go to her otherwise find someone else or go to a different nail salon all together. Definitely won’t be going to her EVER!!!

Apalonia Joson Honestly, I had a great experience at this place. It was pretty packed when I went, which I know is out of the salon’s control, but they were able to accept new customers within minutes. I spent around an hour getting my nails done, but that’s only because the lady doing my nails was super busy with accepting calls and managing the front desk as well. Even then, she managed to do my nails exactly how I asked her to. The ladies here are very nice and ask a lot of questions on how you’d like your nails to look. I asked for a simple design since I was still skeptical of just how good this place was, and the french tip part was a little rushed and not completely perfect, but it’s satisfying enough and I love how they turned out! I ended up tipping her $20 and I highly recommend this place.

Shawntell Green This is my second visit here, first time I just did a pedicure which has been okay. This time I did manicure and pedicure. I started not to get both, it’s hard to find someone that provides great service with nails these days. However , it’s my birthday. The lady was very nice, sitting in chair 2 right at the entrance. the over lay on my nails I am not to pleased with, she cut me twice. I don’t bother to complain anymore because it just comes off as being difficult. I just leave a review on my experience and try a different shop, or person within the shop. Still in search to find someone I LOVE and can stick with otherwise, I usually leave feeling like I over paid for a service I am not completely satisfied with. Or just get a pedicure only.

Briella Paris I got a full set done with French tips and hibiscus flowers. They were able to take me in at 5:45 and finished before 6:45. I am very happy with the outcome of my nails and I plan on going back again! I recommend this place

London Glover Would give zero stars. Nail tech Kristen told me should couldn’t help me AT ALL trying to fix one nail. She said multiple times that she cannot help me today and aggressively. Then she came back around and said she possibly can help at 4:30. I came in at 9:30 when opening at 9. Next customer comes in saying they need a manicure and pedicure, seated immediately, they’ll get pedicure services first. NEXT person comes in says she was worked on last by Kristen need her hands fixed, she was told to please be seated. Yall. I had one nail needing to be protected. And immediately got told no.

Jada Marie They still let me get my toes done after 6:30pm and I really do appreciate that because I know how It is having to refresh ! Didn’t get her name but she did a wonderful job on my toes ! Very friendly and I love my expirence still even tho it was closing time . Will be back

W Ii Terrible customer service from some employees. Im not sure if shes the manager but the lady who answers the phone is so rude and horrible at nails. She will take phone calls during appointments then rush through finishing nails. I knew she did a horrible job when I went back 2 weeks later for a color change and a different technician made a disgusted face and asked me where I got my nails done. Another time, I stopped in so someone could fix a nail that broke. The tech did it for free since I had only gotten my set the day before. As soon as he told me no charge, the "manager" began reprimanding him in a different language right in front of me and other customers. So classless!

Jewel Tilman I opted for an SNS dipping powder manicure at this salon, and Im thoroughly impressed. The nail technician was highly skilled and ensured my nails looked impeccable. The SNS nails are not only beautiful but also incredibly durable. The services quality was unmatched, and the price was very reasonable for the long-lasting results. Im a happy and loyal customer now!

Heather Perea I have been coming here for years. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Clean and beautifully decorated. Sydney is my go to, she is amazing, I refer all my friends and family to her and she always does an amazing job! I don’t do anything fancy, just a pink and white but it’s beautiful every tim (although she can do anything) . Mimi and Nancy do my pedicures and they do an awesome job every time. My feet feel and look like a million bucks afterwards. I’m really grateful to have found a nail shop that I can always count on to do a fabulous job! Highly recommended!!!

Evelyn The only place I go to get my pedicure done. They do such an amazing job ensuring that I feel relaxed and pampered. No matter the time of day that I stop in they are very open to making time for me. They also do a great job with my kids giving them feet massages, pedicures, manicures and making sure they have a fun time. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Julie Zeto I have gone to Kace 9-10 times since they opened and I’ve had good an bad experiences. Today is the first time I thought, wow not going back there. I got a Dip manicure and at the end when she said ok your done I had dry hands with pink powder still on my fingers. I asked why they didn’t do the manicure and she said it’s extra. Then she proceeded to charge me $5 more than I’ve paid previous times. I am so dissatisfied with their service. I live down the street so this is no way to treat regulars. I won’t be recommended if this place to friends anymore.

vanessa vazquez I been getting my nails done for 20+ years, I even showed her a picture of how I get my nails done and length and she kept filling my nails and are so much shorter then I get. Ended up just asking for help polish as I knew I had made a mistake and should have waited the extra 12 days for my nail tech to return from vacation. Gel polish is thick, nails look like they are 3weeks old, I dont have that new nail crispy sharp texture..... will never go there again!!!

Vicki Moua I went this past Saturday on the 19, service was going well until she saw her client walk in and rushed the whole thing. Look at my toe nails already lifting on the sides after one day of doing them. Was service by Kayla. Not too many places Ive had gone too dont like doing acrylic overlay on toes. They will always try to convince me into getting gel polish instead. My first time doing an overlay on my toes. Feels amazing and light weight but the application is soo bad. Next time when you have an appointment with a client, please dont take it especially if you are going to rush it at the end.

Renece Galloway I just got my nails done from sunny and I HATE THEM! I haven’t been in years. But decided to go there once I was back in town and I regret going I got my nails done on the 23 of dec! One popped off the very next day but overall nails is a 3 out of 10! Alanna Ive went here the past year I never had any problems thank God I took these off early . They do not prep your nails before applying acrylics I felt pain in my finger and had them removed I found fungus under my nail and they were perfectly fine before this! Im literally disgusted I took most out before the photo but then the side of my finger got infected and started to fill with pus then I extracted it and took this picture. What a horrible experience I dont even think I ever want to get nails again so disgusting how unhygienic can it get seriously I might need a emergency visit Im not hating on them I genuinely enjoy here but never again.

She hurt my cuticles and I to pull away when she burnt me with the electric nail drill. I will never come back.

Nichole Young Being fast is not always a good thing. I went in to get a Manicure and pedicure And both were done before an hour was up. My feet still feel rough and my nail polish is already chipping the very next morning. Save your money as they are priced about the same as everywhere else. And just go somewhere else.
