Pauline Clifford Great spot hidden away near Thomastown. Lots of history of the German settlement in Victoria. Worth the visit.

Lynne Pryor Fascinating time capsule of early Melbournes mid-19th century German immigrant history and stories. Ziebell Farm and heritage garden is full of charm. Onsite information includes videos, books and display boards as well as rooms containing original furniture and artefacts. Includes beautiful watercolours by Jihn Borrack, a descendant of the Ziebell family. The 1850 bluestone Lutheran church and the old cemetary add extra interest, as do nearby old farm houses on the heritage walk. Well worth a visit.

Glenn Eckardt Fascinating look into the history of our local area. It is wonderful to see how the original Ziebells Farmhouse has been restored and the cemetery was also worth a visit.

Melanie Guenther My partner and I visit the German heritage last weekend. The volunteers have been very accommodating and knowledgeable about the farmhouse. Great to see some German history in the area. Also so beautiful to see how well the garden is maintained. Reminds me back on my home country in Germany. We really enjoyed this little excursion.

Darryl Cowen What an interesting place, right in the heart of Thomastown. Who would have thought. Very interesting place. Certainly a lot of history here. Our guide was very informative and thorough. Parking can be a bit problematic though. Make sure to book in advance for a guided tour.
