Clare Ryan I love going to The Sunroom! It’s my go to spot for gifts for myself and for loved ones. They always have amazing treasures for self care, and their plant selection is stellar. The massages I’ve had from Leah and Ronja were both great, and I even got a treatment with a visiting therapist once. Leah and her team are caring and kind. It’s a worthwhile stop for tourists if you’re visiting, and a regular spot for locals who know what’s good ❤️

Barbara Boyle Ive been going to The Sunroom for about 5 years now, buying beautiful plants and pottery, and getting wonderful massages from Leiya. I just heard that Leiya will be stepping back from doing so much massage, which made me really sad! But, earlier this week I tried a massage with River, and it was exactly what I needed. My body cant handle super deep tissue trigger point type massage anymore, but I also generally dont want a super light touch. River is very strong, and gave an amazing massage that relaxed all of my muscles without me ever having to hold my breath from pain. I got so relaxed that I fell asleep a few times, which doesnt often happen, and Im feeling great today - the effects are lasting. Despite still being sad that I wont get to see Leiya as much, I am very glad to have found River at The Sunroom!

Allison ReauVeau I just moved to the area from Phoenix and I have had two massages in two weeks. This was the second attempt at finding a massage therapist. The Sunroom decor is amazing. I loved all the local products and all the healing options. Its warm and inviting and I was so eager to experience the massage. The massage was fair priced but the therapist was aloof. This could just be her demeanor but I didnt feel any connection. The service felt transactional and that was sad. In my opinion, its because shes an employee, no personal investment in the business. This is not the owners fault, its just how our society has decided to be as an employees. Its really heartbreaking and why we moved to be in community. This wasnt a fit only because I seek a soul-sourced entrepreneur who is invested in their service. Be that owner or employee. I just expect more and because I too run a healing service, I feel I can be candid about it for the owners sake. So much is done right and the store is so unique I will shop there for healing remedies made by locals. Thats my vibe for sure. Be well, Ali

Shasta Shardae Ive had countless massages at The Sunroom and feel embarrassed that I just now thought to share my gratitude! The environment is so calm and soothing. Leiya and all the practitioners have listened to my intentions and provided a safe environment for not only getting an incredible massage but feeling lighter in spirit afterward. Plus, the space is GORGEOUS and everything they sell is thoughtfully curated. 11/10 get yourself to The Sunroom.

Chris Reeve If you want the BEST MASSAGE in Nevada City, in a downtown location with great service, head over to Body Essence Day Spa. You cant beat the location, prices or the service. I have had my hair cut there, massages (top notch!), and used the sauna and each time is better than I ever had in San Francisco when I lived there. I recommend this place to anyone!

Alexa Hands down BEST pedicure OF MY LIFE!! Breneé gave so much love and care, down to every detail. All natural, non-toxic, gorgeous nailpolish that lasted longer than any pedi before (my toes still look amazing after a month!), and foot scrubs and lotions that are made with top quality food-grade ingredients. The ionic detoxifying foot bath was def the cherry on top (I highly recommend it!), I left feeling truly restored and beautified from the inside out!!

diane fornasier Brennee gives the best foot and leg massages. My friend and I spent a lovely afternoon being pampered at Wholistic Beauty. Wonderful nontoxic products. Be sure to get the detox foot bath. It highly recommended this experience.

Rachel Salerno I just had as super beautiful pedicure experience with Brenée and I will be back for more! The ionic foot bath was enlightening, and I love that Brenée uses natural products. Id stayed away from pedicures for years after hearing pedicure horror stories, so I really appreciate all of the sterilization measures Brenée uses to keep her tools and space clean. My feet look and feel amazing, better than they have in many years ❤️

Priscilla Stephan Best pedicure experience ever! Imagine a full spa days worth of pampering condensed in a delicious hour of pure relaxation and magic. This is the pedicure pampering experience youd hoped for but didnt even know to ask for. Frankly, while the pedicure was amazing, it was the whole experience that made it so memorable and wonderful. Brenee has you sitting on a Biomat to help balance your energetic frequencies as you relax in this gorgeously comfy chair all by yourself. You then get a wonderful foot detox bath so you remove all the junk from your system. Thats followed by a gentle foot exfoliation and massage and then, the beautiful pedicure. Brenee has all toxic free nail polishes and uses homemade organic oils during your foot and leg massage. Its just pure magic. It was THE perfect birthday gift to myself and I cannot wait to come back for the goodness. Then go treat yourself to a delicious chocolate drink or truffle at the next door chocolate shop! Youll be so glad you gifted yourself this incredible experience. Plus Brenee has amazing energy that will uplift you too.

Alexxa Damianna Best pedicures of my life!! Brenè uses homemade products for scrub and massage and she gives the best foot massage. Plus her polishes are non tix and stay on much longer than normal Polish. She is truly amazing, can’t recommend enough.
