Adam G The Bank Street Memorial Fountain, also referred to as the South Melbourne Boer War Memorial Fountain, was erected in 1905 to commemorate the Jubilee of the City of South Melbourne (then named town of Emerald Hill), and in honour of the 140 South Melbourne soldiers who fought in the South African Boer war and the 8 who died. The fountain is set on a basalt podium with a combination of grey and pink granite. The fountain set within four granite columns that support a freely designed classical canopy and the fountain itself made out of brass. The memorial is surrounded by a fence of wrought iron posts with chains strung between them. The memorial fountain is listed in the Victorian Heritage Register.

Paris My partner and I did Kellars Magic Emporium, and it certainly left us talking about it for the rest of the night! We loved the attention to detail and the different challenges in each section of the room. Chris was also an excellent game master and made our experience exciting and memorable. We would love to experience the other rooms when were next in Melbourne!

M M We did the Fractured Room as a group of 2 but would be great for a bigger group. Worst thing about this room is that we cant do it again! We have completed about 20 escape rooms collectively in Melbourne and surrounds so can definitively say this room is the absolute best!! The puzzels were clever, unique and fun. The design and way puzzles fit together was genius. Everything in the room worked and our game master was very clever in the use of hints. Everything you need to know in terms of caution in choosing this room is in the published description in terms of it being an "Inside Out" like experience inside the mind of someone on life support so sensitivity around this would be the only caution without spoiling anything. My best advice if youre not sure it to call ERM staff and ask. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you!

Ivy Cai I came and played the room fractured and it was a terrible experience. The music box was not working, and the whole puzzle was not well designed as we have never heard of the first song so there was no way we could’ve solved it even if it was working. The room was also extremely cold. Upon expression of this, there was no acknowledgment or apology given. The music box error was not fixed until we had already finished the room and instead of letting us know why the air con could not be turned off, I was just told to "move around more" to warm up. Having a puzzle not work is extremely frustrating to an escape room experience and getting zero apology is not acceptable. We were able to finish due to hints given but I felt like we were treated like we were dumb instead of actually acknowledging the prop not working. E.g. when we radioed to try to say the air con was too cold the staff member immediately assumed we needed help and gave us hints we already figured out. All we got for mentioning the problem was a "thanks for letting me know so I can fix it for the next group". Afterwards, the staff member - Chris, could not find the pieces of a puzzle and called us up to tell him where it was and told us to check our pockets. I told him we definitely did not take the pieces, but again he was not listening and insisted that it’s an easy mistake to make. This was not possible as I didn’t even have pockets. Eventually he found it in the room. Never have I had such a terrible experience with an escape room and the attitude of the staff member makes a huge difference. Im not sure if the staff member who attended to us during the game was also Chris, but I assume it was very likely him as well. It’s very sad because I really liked the staff at the Flemington escape room who was very friendly. Will not be coming back again.

Peter Lim We did Keller’s Magic Emporium and it did not disappoint. There were four of us and it was neither too many nor too little people. The puzzles were a great level for us. I think it would best suit those ages 12 years old and over since there were parts that might be scary for those aged 11 and under. Definitely recommend! Would come back and try the other rooms.

Northmen Cricket Club Mine Escape was our first escape room experience and it met all our expectations. Cannot give a five star as it is my first one :)! One feedback would be to add a bit more sound elements towards the end of the journey to enhance the urgency of the final few steps of the escape

Janessa Smit Hosted our little ones 1st birthday here and was great, it’s gated so kids can run relatively free, bbq area, shade and tables. Toilet and water available. Grass needs a little bit of love but other than that a good little spot.

William This park is like a Qantas flight – comfortable, reliable, but not quite first class. The fence is like a seatbelt keeping the kids safely in their seats, while the BBQ is your in-flight meal option, perfect for a quick snack. There’s plenty of shade, like that nice window view when you’re not staring at the back of the seat in front of you. It’s peaceful, so much so you might think they’ve upgraded to business class, but the real treat is the variety of play equipment – enough to keep the little ones entertained, like a decent inflight entertainment system. The trees are so established, they’ve probably been around since the first Qantas flight. Oh, and the dogs? They’re on a leash, A solid choice for a laid-back afternoon – you won’t be flying first class, but you’ll still enjoy the journey.

Dave Mamo Awesome place, kids friendly environment, so close to the city. Great meeting spot for the locals, and relax and have some fish and chips while the kids run around

ROO We went to see one in particular, Abercrombie Cottage as this was originally in North Melbourne where my husband & his family lived over the generations. We went through all of them and was really very interesting to learn about and to see with the help of the guide. S6.00 adults, $4.00 for pensioners.
