Bill Dickerson My child went there to get her hair dyed and they used very cheap dye that continually comes out, gets all over her skin, neck, and shoulders, also it has ruined some of her clothes. And when she went to pay for it they cheated her out of $20 worth of change.

Cinco Seis Not going to give a bad review before having a bad experience. Just that when I came to get a haircut, it was past 6 pm whereas the business hours sign specifically said open til 7pm. Got there at about 6:5pm. In addition, the listed phone number seems to be of a personal cell phone.

demoree I called on a Sunday afternoon and they were able to schedule me 30 minutes later. I had cut my own bangs and my hair looked horrible..honestly it was so dry and splitting.. they were able to make my hair look brand new. I will go to them again definitely!! They also blow dried and straightened it. Left with my hair feeling soft and looking great.

Brenda Vela This is my first review ever but had to! So unprofessional! Worst place I have ever been to! Connie who did my hair was on the phone the whole time, was so rough, asked for a trim and she cut off like 6 inches just straight across, then asked if I wanted layers ugh no girl if now you do layers it will be even shorter, and she hurt me many times.. Tamie who did my daughters hair whom I think was the owner, did a horrible job. So unhappy after $190. Feel bad for my 14 year old daughter who is starting high school on Wednesday. Will never go back!! It was all so rushed and terrible experience.

Evelyn Juarez Teresa is such a professional worker, one of the most respectful, and trustworthy woman. I have been knowing her for many years and she has been the ONLY person I trust with my hair. Ever since she has been cutting my hair, my hair has been so bright, and it has a very strong texture. Visit her and I promise you will never go back to any other hair stylist. Isabel Ramos Ive been here twice- once to get a haircut and another time for a partial balayage with money pieces. My stylist, Cassie (a.k.a Cat) did such a great job!! Its really easy to make conversations with her and it makes time go by faster, you can tell she really loves what she does. If you need someone to do a trendy haircut or vivid colors- shes your girl !! Also, to book her just DM her on her instagram and she responds hella quick (: (Ig: hairbycassiecat).

Jasmine James Dont try to go here if you are a new client because they will not treat you well. They have poor communication skills. My first attempt to make an appointment didnt get answered back until a week later. Then after constant rescheduling, which i will admit one time was my fault, i finally had an appointment. The day of my appointment, i went only to discover that they had scheduled sooner than I thought. Now again, that was my fault, i didnt change the time for my appointment, but also after constant rescheduling, can you blame me for getting confused? Also, she never confirmed my appointment, which you think she would since i was a new client, its your time and money youre wasting if someone doesnt show up! And she never even tried to reach out to me to see if i had forgotten our appointment! And then she proceeds to try to reschedule again only to ghost me completely! I will never try to go here again!

Stephanie I love this place and the stylist!!! Stephanie H is amazing with color - for me I like subtle natural looking highlights along with color that blends from the root into the length of the hair and she does it masterfully and effortlessly. She is also honest about what is achievable in a kind way - you can tell she wants what’s best for the you and the health of your hair. I trust her completely with any decisions as it pertains to my color!!!

Shannon Campbell I love it here. Emily is an incredible stylist. The salon is always clean and is up to date. The parking kind of sucks due to all the timed parking but there is a free parking structure about a block away. Still- I recommend.

Zoey Hope I adore Cassie. Getting haircuts or my hair dyed from her is something I always look forward to. Shes so kind and amazing.

Lacey Walls My preteen and I have become regulars here for razor cuts and have always had really positive experiences. Our last cut was with Raven and not only was she kind, but she was so patient with my daughter and trying to get the right look she wanted. We have yet to be disappointed with our cuts and get exactly what we ask for. The salon itself has become a real safe space too. Each time Ive been, all guests and workers end up in joyful conversation together. It’s just a really fun environment.

Andrea Serna My sister and I were so excited for our haircut appointments. We both took the day off of work and drove 3 hours to get our hair done by Raven. Half an hour before we got there she messaged us saying her 1st appointment took longer than expected and that she couldnt take us today. Since we were so close, we stopped by the salon to see if she could at least do one haircut or if there was another stylist that could take us. We were even considering rescheduling since we love her work so much. Once we got there she came out for 5 seconds just to say that she didnt have any time. The lady in the front gave us our deposit back, and that was it. We drove another 3 hours home disappointed. Appointments here are a joke.

Candice Spring **UPDATE** I would still like to clearly state that I had a bad experience here with Reygun doing my hair. Them as a person, they were nice and it was a fine interaction. As for my hair, I didnt get what I asked for and bluntly stated, they did a pretty bad job on my hair and overcharged me. After leaving a poor review Raven ( the owner who I have had my hair done by before) reached out to me and fixed my hair for free. They did an amazing job. I absolutely love my hair and feel the way I should have the first time around. It was not fun having to go through having my hair not being what I wanted it, and it was awkward for me having to complain about it, but I will say that Raven has a lot of integrity and professionalism and corrected the mistakes that were made. They are a very talented stylist with amazing haircutting skills. They can layer and shape thick hair like no one Ive ever been to! (And Ive been to a lot of stylists in my years.) There are a lot of talented hair artists at this salon. I would just be careful with who you go to especially if you have a lot of hair. Hopefully this was a learning experience and good can come out of it. Im bumping up my stars to 5 because again Raven came through with an absolute stunning cut and color correction that will be looking good for a while. I appreciate it A TON.

Rosa Palella I am glad we now have a dry bar in Bakersfield. I had an appointment and was greeted when I entered. I was offered a book with different styles to choose from. Beverage was offered and I had green tea. I chose to add a 10 minute scalp message to my blow out and it was amazing! I did sign up for a monthly blow out service and am looking forward to my next one.

Meryem B DryBar is hands down the best spot in town for a solid blowout. I was so lucky to get Erica as my stylist again today. she is always so thorough and makes sure to smooth out my hair completely during the blowout phase before going over it with the flat iron from the roots down, while giving my hair body with a smooth curl on my ends. Erica is very experienced and knows exactly how to handle coarse and textured hair. Everything from the hair wash to the treatments was pristine. I truly couldn’t have been happier with the final look. Additionally, the staff is friendly and warm. If I could rate this place 100 stars I would :) Thank you Drybar Bakersfield.

candice lee Hello, I asked for a wavy/mai tai look for my senior formal hair. I instead got thick ringlet curls. It was flabbergasting and I did not even want to look at it. She took at most 10 minutes to do my hair and when I showed my dissatisfaction she said she had to clock out soon. She tried looking for someone to cover me and she referred to me as “picky” to her coworkers. In the end I am glad she took her time to try and fixing it but it was still horrible. She said my hair is hard to work with because it is thick and gets poofy. I had high hopes for my look and I am very disappointed. Definitely do not recommend if you have asian hair wanting waves or maybe even decent curls. You will end up looking like Eliza and Peggy from Hamilton.

Adrienne Guirguis I love this place. They are friendly and always do a great job. I look forward to my appointments. My hair looks fantastic after a visit here. Being a barfly just makes it so easy and convenient.

Lisa Wolff Kimberly is AMAZING with curls. I had moved from Colorado where I loved my stylist and I was terrified to try another, but Im so happy I found Kimberly. She took my nerves into account and cut what I was comfortable with, explaining what and more importantly, WHY she was doing what she was doing. I was THRILLED with my cut. When I went back the second time, 3 months later, I let her loose and told her to cut it how she wanted - it was Fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend Headquarters! - Im editing to add that after leaving CA and having two other stylist cut my curls with disappointing results, I sincerely wish I could fly back to have Kim cut my hair.

Carrie Kumpel I’ve been seeing Kim at this salon for many years for my very curly hair. She takes her time, is full of great advice on styling, and puts a lot of thought into strategies to color or cut my hair in a way that will be the best for me. She always tells you what she is doing and why she is doing it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

Qxpiid I have been with Kim for many years, I have strayed and learned my lesson. I have super curly coarse hair and i am NEVER disappointed with my cut, consultation or service. She is very knowledgeable about curly hair and hair in general. Fantastic product inventory and always the newest products from Aveda.

Kaeden E Took my daughter here to get her hair cut. Was recommended by a friend due to the fact the specialize in curly hair! My daughter is biracial and when we walked in the woman who was standing chatting with a lady gave the nastiest look. We felt very uncomfortable and being a new customer you would think they would approach you in a nice matter! I felt this may be do to my daughter being African American! We walked out! I would not recommend you take your dog here to get their hair cut! Customer service is horrible!!! I would have given "0" stars if able!

Kimberly Hernandez PORFAVOR NO VISTEN ESTÉ SALÓN!!! SE REPENTINA! Went in for a haircut and brought a picture in for reference. I gave that man clear instructions and he somehow still messed it up. He cut it shorter than what he promised, he reduced my hair volume by 50%, and he cut my layers uneven and choppy. He then tried to blame me and gaslight me to believe it was my fault and that’s how I asked for it. Then he tried to charge me $50 for styling. Also I’d like to mention that when you get there, everybody starts fighting to see who will cut your hair and they make you feel so uncomfortable right off the bat. Please don’t go here. They’re not properly trained, are rude and unprofessional, and way too expense for the type of awful services they provide.

hi this place is so unprofessional and the lady who did my hair was going to leave my hair all patchy if it wasn’t for my mom who came and saw the back of my head when i couldn’t see but when my mom told her that it doesn’t look good the lady got mad and said it was what i asked for which it wasn’t. After my mom said no and that if it was even what i asked it shouldn’t look that bad then the lady started calling her ridiculous and a ridiculous old lady (mind you my mom looks way younger than her) charged $205 so we told her to redye my hair and fix it so she did but then left me with wet hair so overall horrible experience and so unprofessional never come here

MJ Jimenez Went because I needed a new cut for college asked for my hair to be cut right below the shoulder and the man cut it into a horrendous bob, and blamed it on my hair falling out when he was brushing it (he was using the wrong brush meant for black hair). Didn’t bother the fix the choppiness of it and had to do it myself at home and they STILL charged me $30 do NOT BRING ANYONE HERE. My hair was around 17 inches long and now it’s 10-11. Never coming back. Pretty sure they also violated MANY cosmetic procedures and codes

josie reza I went in for a hair cut today. And omg the guy who cut my hair cut half real real short and the other side long. I hate my hair cut. I do t know why they let that guy cut hair. I paid $41 for what my kid could have done. I will not go back. Even the lady be hide me was looking at him like what the hell is he doing. Cutting my hair with a blade not scissors.
