Kit Kat Went here as a new client, and OMG micheal did my hair and he was AMAZING. Im pretty shy and quiet but he made me feel so welcomed, he helped me walked through what I wanted and was gentle with my scalp. I love my hair so much, he was also fast aswell. Definitely recommended

SHERI IS AMAZING!!! First visit with her was her attempting to fix an absolute nightmare of a haircut and perm by another. Reyna Pando Lena did a phenomenal job on my hair! I had two different hairstyles in mind for my wedding. Lena was able to make it happen and both made me feel like a queen that day. I am tender headed and my curls dont usually last on my straight hair. Lena was able to work with both, providing me with long-lasting curls! I absolutely loved her customer service and highly recommend her for a wedding. Thank you for helping make my day special! I now see her for haircuts; she does wonders with long layers! Wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair!

Mandy Lynn Absolutely ruined my husband’s hair. Once he gave the worst haircut ever he admitted he had never done a zero fade before. I work as an independent contractor for personal services and would never take on something I have never tried without informing a client. I can’t believe how horrible this stylist did. Do not go here.

Ms Wood Very fancy on the inside with a bistro/bar. Plenty of seating, friendly and helpful stylists. I was helped immediately for two kids haircuts on a walk in. I was seated right by my kids and brought water promptly by the bistro attendant who also offered me many other delightful drinks. Best part is that my kids were grumpy and tired from a long flight but left happy and excited for the new cuts. But certainly not before they got to walk down the catwalk! Yes, thats right, there is a catwalk!

Katherine Zyla I have been a customer for almost 2 years. Sylvia is my star and cant imagine my life without her! Joking aside, I would recommend this salon wholeheartedly for quality of service and atmosphere, although the waiting time upon arrival can be a tad longer then desired at times.

Linda Pedigo I’ve been going to Alchemy for years but never thought to review…it is the best salon in Fresno, I’m always happy when I have with my hair done there. I cannot say enough good about Sylvia, she owns the salon and takes a lot of pride in her clients and hair dressers.

First time Sylvia cut my hair, she knew exactly what I wanted and my haircut turned out fantastic and she hasnt stopped delivering quality haircuts and color since. The salon is always clean and the service excellent.

Madelyn Massengill I never even made it into the salon. I was on my way since my appointment was in 20 MINUTES, when I get a call from them and they tell me that they would have to push back my appointment 3 hours since the stylist got caught up doing a last minute wedding. I understand things happen, but to wait 20 MINUTES before my appointment to call and tell me(I was already on my way) is very unprofessional.

nat kovacevich BEWARE! Extremely disappointed in Sylvia the owner. After spending a great deal of money with her she turned my daughters hair Orange and would not return any of my calls or email when I called to let her know that my daughters beautiful brown hair went from Brown to an Orange color. I would of been more than happy to allow her to fix it, had she given me the respect of a return call, it has been several weeks, and still NO return call. This is NOT how you treat customers. I paid $200.00 to have my daughters hair dyed Orange. She obviously does not care! Very sad, as she is the owner!

Raquel Avendano I’m always nervous to try new people out when it comes to my hair but Chela was great! I came in as a walk in for a basic cut and color and I loved my results and her prices were very reasonable. The environment of her salon is very comfortable and welcoming and she was very sweet. She offered me some hair care tips for my very fine, dry hair as well as selling me a bottle of a leave in conditioner she recommended at a very good price. You can tell she loves to provide good service to all her clientele and it’s obvious her clients love her! I’ve never had a more pleasant experience at a hair salon before. I will definitely keep coming back to her and would recommend her to anyone!

Edith Pereira Chela is the owner an exceptional stylist a professional with over 30 years of experience in color style and cuts she is amazing you can walk out feeling wonderful when she takes care of your hair. There is no one like this beautiful woman with such expertise when it comes to hair. You will love it I have been her client for more than 25 years and Im still amazed at how good she is and she gets better each year.

Sandy Redding I have been going to Chelas approximately 10 years+. She trims, colors, highlights and styles my hair. I am always impressed with Chela using her God given talent. I walk out of the salon feeling beautiful! I have never been to any other beautician. Feel free to visit Chela. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are available also. Even help me out on short notice. They are my #1 and only salon. Tina is super sweet and uncle Ben too with a great sense of humor. Very knowledgeable

Kayla Leal Rina does amazing with my thin hair!!! She cuts so it looks fuller ive been seeing her for about 4 years!! Theres another Hispanic lady whom cuts hair sorry I dont know her name but she cuts my grandbaby hair an fixed a mistake on my co-workers hair shes great as well!!

Wayne Hamilton My wife came in for a haircut (she rarely does so). The stylist didnt listen to her request as to how she wanted it done. The stylist also claimed that my wifes hair was too greasy (my wife dry hair, NOT oily). As a result, my wife came out with a botched cut and is highly upset- rightfully so! She must now wait for the hair to regrow out before daring to try again. Apparently, the stylist doesnt understand English very well. If you want to cater to different markets of clientele, it would help for your employees to understand at least two languages. Would NOT recommend at this point.

Esperanza Martinez It’s a Friday evening, I called to ask if they would take last minute walk in for a hair trim. The sweet lady that answered my call said “yes, come on in”. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted with beautiful smiles. A gentleman (wish I would have got his name) sat me down and asked what hair style I wanted. My goodness, he was quick and delivered quality work!! He even styled my freshly cut layers. I came out feeling super cute❤️ I’m so happy!! He did a fantastic job and will definitely be coming back.

Bao Yang Since I moved to Fresno in 2022, I’ve been to this hair salon 4 times. Twice to cut my hair and twice to color my hair. All of the times, the hair stylists was able to achieve what I wanted but I don’t set high expectations. I don’t think it’s fair to expect the hair stylists to be magicians. They work with what they have and for me, they do an awesome job. I’m always able to book an appointment for the next day. It’s costly but so is everything else so I’m happy with the price and how they accommodated what I wanted. I’ve had different stylist every time but all of them was amazing. I would recommend if you’re okay with the price. I will totally be back!

George Sanchez JUDITH IS AWFUL. She is a rude & self-centered lady. I did not feel welcomed and and she was rushed me during the whole appointment. Shes all about the money. I wanted my hair dyed minding you I never dyed my hair in my life. I was asking several questions Judith was getting annoyed. I had an appointment with this other lady but she was asking Judith questions for help. I didn’t feel comfortable with asking Judith anything else after how she was responding. So started talking over to other the lady I had scheduled an appointment with. You know this lady aka “Judith” literally got in my face . My body was faced to the mirror. She The chair is 360. So she spinned me over so I could face her & told me this “I’m the professional don’t look over there and don’t talk to her” just from that comment I could tell Judith was probably higher than all the staff or maybe their boss. The lady doing my hair I could tell she felt uncomfortable but she couldn’t say anything. I didnt wanna state how I felt because I didnt want her purposefully messing up my hair for standing up for myself.I couldn’t just feel the tension. She probably gives that lady hell. I wanted a test strand on my hair I didn’t want my whole hair dyed because it was my first time and I didn’t know how it would turn out. Judith rolled her eyes at me huffed & puffed and walked away and told me I was waisting her time. Then she was like now you gotta pay an extra $30 for waisting my time and her time. She call herself checking me. Then after the test strand was done. I asked Judith another question she was like “ look you are still waisting my time I just answered this you can go to another stylist if u don’t like our services.” Remember I’m still confused about hair dye and toner. All I can say is don’t go to Revolver hair studio. She rude with a stank attitude and very controlling. I am the nicest person and didn’t deserve this.

Lorta Teeana (Tia) I came in with hopes of looking “different” I understand u can’t go from black to blonde in a day but I had reasonable expectations. After they first tried sending me home with a murky brown, silver, and some blond(ish) highlights I did voice my concern & another stylist had to come over and assist my stylist which further made me doubt her ability. They fixed my hair adding some highlights but ultimately I left with the same color and maybe a root touch up. After letting them know I felt the 220$ price didn’t feel fair - they basically said pay the full Malik to or were calling the cops. Normally I’d stay, but being as upset as I was, and now behind schedule for work I chose to give them the amount and leave. I’m hoping somehow someway this could be fixed. This is what they called blonde & sent me home with. Photos were taken second time around in the bathroom before once again letting them know. Willing to continue sending in photos if need be. Update ; they never fixed or offered to fix the issue

Michelle White Katrina did my hair. Ive previously been with my hairstylist for 7 years before she moved out of state and was recommended to come here by a friend and I was not disappointed! She was great, friendly and made me comfortable.

Sulema Armenta When I booked my appointment I asked if the stylist was experienced and knowledgeable … was told by the owner Judith that the person she wanted to book me with charges $45 for a hair cut… well know that I have no way if gauging what that means thus I make the appointment… when her (Brianna) every action and decision was questioned (concerning) by the stylist to the owner Judith… of whom told the stylist step by step mixes and toners to use… when it came to the actual hair cut I have to say was given a blunt back of my hair cut! So much product was put in my hair I had to go home and wash the stickiness out … I tried to curl my CLEAN hair only to find that the back of my hair was cut bluntly (sticking out) with no curl using my curling iron because my hair did not layer right due to the novice hair dresser I was not told what her experience was but what the cost equated too… shame on you owner Judith for your using a dollar amount instead of your staffs actual status of freakin Junior hair stylist of which I was exposed to of which a senior hair stylist in your company makes $75 an hour? As I indicated during our initial phone conversation I was looking for an EXPERIENCED hair stylist… questioning your honest best practices! Before the appointment my hair was uneven but healthy after this session is dry and straw like the grey color I requested turned blond highlights DO NOT BOOK here your hair will be ruined !!! Note while I was in the chair during my appointment there were 3! Customers that came in for a FIX !!! My bad for not going with these bad signals! Don’t be fooled … Judith (owner) does and says whatever to get you in and pay!!!
