Brandon Pae Following my transition out of the Army, I returned home to Irvine from New York in search of stability in my routines. A trusted stylist became essential. My family introduced me to Chloe at K-TOP Hair Salon, whose professionalism, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail quickly distinguished her.
Her approach reflects a mastery of precision. Each appointment begins with a thoughtful consultation, ensuring a tailored result. Every haircut showcases refined technique - clean lines, seamless blending, and an intuitive understanding of structure. Subtle refinements elevate the style, allowing it to maintain its integrity as it grows out.
Down perm treatments have significantly improved the manageability of my hair. Chloe applies them with measured precision, ensuring controlled volume without rigidity. The effect remains natural, enhancing both texture and ease of style. Each treatment yields consistent, lasting results.
Chloes reliability is also noteworthy. She maintains consistent biweekly availability for me, ensuring seamless scheduling. This level of commitment fosters trust, reinforcing the professionalism that defines her work. Clients benefit from both her expertise and her steadfast dedication.
Beyond technical skill, Chloe cultivates a refined and welcoming atmosphere. Her demeanor is both warm and composed, creating an environment where clients feel at ease. Conversation flows effortlessly or, when preferred, a quiet moment of relaxation is equally accommodated. Each appointment is not only a service but an experience that leaves one feeling assured and polished, reminding me much of the adherence to standards and attention-to-detail soldiers were expected to bear while still in the Army.
For those in search of a stylist of the highest caliber, Chloe exemplifies excellence. Her technical proficiency, reliability, and client-focused approach set a standard that is rare to find in both Los Angeles and Orange County. I offer my strongest recommendation to those who seek consistency, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Mike The worst hair cut and she charged me $75. I am Korean and thought I give this place a try and was expecting a Korean hair stylist since it is a Korean hair salon and I even spoke Korean when I scheduled appointment, but got a cut from a Vietnamese lady and she DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO layer hairs. I had to goto another hair salon to get it corrected. Do not goto this place. I gave her 10% tip because I felt sorry for her. And I told her I wanted layers on the top so that it gives me more volume, instead, she made my hair flat. And the layers were very choppy.

D C I’ve been coming here for the past seven years, and so have seen the hairstylists come and go. Even with all the changes and the consistent lack of customer service, different stylists were able to provide a decent quality of haircuts, which is the main reason I kept coming back. And I do not have high standards or demands. However, I’m inclined to leave this honest review after getting a haircut today. And can say I will never be returning here. I specifically asked for the bang length to be slightly above the chin. I had my glasses off, so I couldn’t see a thing in the mirror, but I soon realized she had chopped my front bangs to eye length. To make it worse, the stylist didn’t apologize outright and was busy defending herself saying oh haha I must’ve been focusing too much on the conversation. The fact that they lack basic listening skills is unbelievably frustrating. What she should’ve said is that she apologizes for not heeding to my specific request because her attention was dispersed trying to take care of more than one customer at a time. They ended up giving me $15 off, but that’s not going to make my hair grow back. In addition, it takes about 5 different phone calls to even get an appointment here. And then when you walk in, they stare at you as if they saw a ghost. There hasn’t been a single time I’ve been welcomed kindly or with basic customer service. If you’re looking for an authentic Korean haircut, I would not recommend this place. I heard them speaking Chinese and don’t think that they can provide you with the same quality that other Korean salons do unfortunately.
