Mariella Lodi Fiona is AMAZING !! I first met her during our initial consultation. I had never colored my hair before and was nervous about how it would turn out. I also didn’t have a regular salon or stylist and I was worried about a stylist I had never worked with before doing my hair. Within 2 minutes of meeting her, Fiona put me at ease and squashed any lingering apprehension. What stood out to me was that not only was she immensely knowledgeable, but she was also incredibly kind and welcoming. I booked an appointment with her on the spot. And I am so glad I did!! Fiona’s salon is full of so much amazing energy and is a beautiful space, perfect to feel comfortable and relaxed in. We spent the entire appointment chatting and laughing. She also took the time to explain each step in detail to me, which made me feel completely calm and engaged with the process. This was huge for me because I had never let any color touch my hair before and was super nervous. I was also worried about my hair feeling dry or coarse as a result of the lightener, but because Fiona went out of her way to apply a smoothing hair treatment, my hair had never felt healthier. Fiona is quite literally a hair whisperer and I left totally in love with my new hair !! I’m really thankful to have found her and am super excited for many more visits!

Ildiko Hamar Went to Fiona couple of weeks ago. She was great at trying to understand how my hair was handled before so she could provide me the best service. She was really amazing and explained everything in detail, she even added extra highlights to make sure I was happy with the outcome. Her salon is also very stylish. Jasmin Turner Fiona is amazing!! The first time I went to see her was when I decided to go short earlier this year, and now shes the only person Ill go to! She always listens to what I want and and explains what shes doing throughout the process which puts me at ease. She takes her time and pays attention to every tiny detail which I love about her. This time we added color. There is no-one else I would trust more than Fiona when it comes to color. I wanted to stay close to my natural color, but redder... she gave me exactly that! Aside from being a very talented hair stylist, Fiona has a wonderful personality. She has great energy and always puts me in a good mood. You can tell she loves her job and really cares about her clients. Going to her salon feels like a mini spa break. Its private, peaceful, and she makes you feel special. I wish I could go more often!

Kristin Avila Christina is an absolutely STELLAR stylist. She brought me back to a gorgeous red after 2 years of not coloring my very dark hair. Ariel Castañeda One of my friends recommended I make an appointment with Christina at Evolutions Salon, and Im so happy I did! The drive from Orange County to Pasadena was 100% worth it! Ive been trying to get my bangs to a pretty teal color for over a year, and Christina made that happen our first session. She took time to learn about my hair history and what my goals were. I showed her a reference photo and she nailed it! She was also such a delight to talk to and made sure I was comfortable the entire appointment. Im definitely coming back!

Edesa Perez This place is unprofessional and only good for basic haircuts; if youre looking for highlights, balayage, or root touch-ups, avoid coming here as they dont know how to color hair. On February 25, 2024, I went in to have blonde highlights put in my hair. However, as you can see from the pictures, Lucia did a terrible job; she left my base looking brown, black, and orange, and the highlights stopped short of the root. She and the owner tried to correct it, but the outcome was appalling and nothing like what I had asked for. I made the mistake of returning, They have not only ruined my hair, but also the hair of friends and relatives. The only reason I went back was because they tried to correct it, but the outcome was never nearly what I had asked for.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly nice and friendly, making me feel welcome and at ease. I had previously struggled to find a salon that could transform my bleach blonde hair into a nice medium brown in just one appointment, but Perfect Hair Salon delivered fantastic results that exceeded my expectations. Their skill and expertise truly set them apart from other salons that had refused to take on the challenge. Its a shame that I no longer live in LA, but I will definitely make a point to return for my hair services the next time I’m in town. angela liberis I recently visited Hair Perfect and had a fantastic experience! The staff is amiable and kind, and the prices are very reasonable. The salon has been renovated under the new owner, Nina, and its now spotless and modern. I’ve been coming here for years, and while I had some issues with the previous owner, Nina is a breath of fresh air. She’s friendly, respectful, and always willing to help her team. I especially want to highlight the salons accessibility for those in wheelchairs. They’ve installed new washing chairs that are the perfect height—making it easy to stand up or stay seated if youre in a wheelchair. The staff, particularly Taline and Luz, are fantastic, and I completely trust them with my hair. Melvin Cañas Have been going there for a few years now and Ive been pretty happy with my service, basic haircut. I always ask for Mario. He seems to be on demand often. Very friendly and accommodating guy. Hes good at what he does. Have not tried the other stylists but they all appear nice and attentive also. I would recommend the place, especially for the prices also compared to the commerciallized, franchised salons.

Olinda Bran The hairdresser charged me extra and didn’t tell me shampoo was not included in the haircut. I wanted a bob and I got a mom cut. I don’t like it at all but what could you expect for 40 bucks

I had a scheduled appointment, but upon arrival, I was informed that it had been canceled. This was especially upsetting as I had rearranged my schedule and made significant efforts to attend. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve encountered such an issue. It’s frustrating to feel that there’s a lack of communication and accountability in these situations, which reflects poorly on the level of service. It’s not just the inconvenience—it’s the sense that my time and loyalty as a customer are not being valued. I also want to highlight an imbalance in how cancellations and delays are handled. If I cancel, I am charged a $25 fee, and if I am late, my appointment is canceled. Yet when your team cancels or is running late, I am expected to accommodate delays of 30 minutes to an hour without consideration for my schedule. I truly hope this feedback encourages your team to make improvements to the scheduling and communication process. I’ve always appreciated your services, but consistency and respect for clients’ time are just as important as the quality of your work. Very careless towards the customer.

SUZANNA KATALANA I went to this location 5-6 times and each time they were at least 20 minutes behind at some point I had to wait 35 minutes and guess what , I didn’t complain ones, I saw they were pretty busy. A day ago I had to cancel my appointment and just saw they charged me a cancelation fee with the card they didn’t have on file , so they just added my card on file without even asking my permission to do so. When it comes to hair dressers there it’s 50/50 chance you get a stylist that does her job well , and other times it’s just not worth the pay. This whole experience left a very bad aftertaste . Chloe Chais I went here to get my hair done for my engagement because my blowdryer broke. Receptionist was rude for no reason. My hair was slightly damp because I had washed it and the hairstylist got an attitude and said Id have to pay double the price because she had to blow dry it (at a blow-dry bar? lol) so I said no thanks and left. By the time I got home 10 min later my hair was dry enough to flat iron. I wasnt going to leave a review but I noticed they charged me a $25 cancellation fee and that feels wrong to me. They didnt mention anything about it when I was leaving. Weird vibes and greedy business.

Kari and Larry Gutierrez Siu I read the reviews before booking and I should have avoided the place. I asked for a scalp massage but they failed to provide one. The wash lasted no more than 2 minutes. I was in and out of there in 30mins with an extremely simple style that feels like it’s already going flat (10mins after walking out). I will not be returning to this establishment.

Angela Babcock I’m giving two stars because the staff are so nice and pleasant. But, the blow outs are not good. I went a couple of years ago asking for the Hollywood style. The stylist used a flat iron that she pressed so tightly together that hairs were being yanked out as she went down each section. I said something to her, that I could hear them breaking and she said she couldn’t hear it and it was fine. The style was not at all the glam waves from the look book. I ended up redoing my hair when I got home before going to a wedding. My second style was a few years later, for another wedding. The stylist was so fun to talk with but my hair fell flat. I wanted the southern hairdo that is supposed to be big. He didn’t use product and my hair was just sad on my head. Again, I had to fix it at home. I really want to have a great blow dry place but this isn’t it.
