Keene Mitchell A very nice place to have a straight bike ride along St Georges Road. It is not too hilly as well, but it has some hills, with downhill, which makes it a place that you can go very fast on the bike.

Martin Duong Wouldve given it 5 stars but the bench at the top didnt pull its weight. The bench was slightly slanted and couldve done with a better view. Kinda dont wanna be staring into peoples bedrooms...

Bimalka Edirisinghe Beautiful park that showcases so much nature. Dog friendly, great walking paths and a brilliant look out. Truly calming and relaxing. Great facilities.

Maddock James Brilliant park. Nice lookout over the suburbs from the top of the rock hill. Adjacent Northcote Plaza shopping centre makes it easy to bring snacks or a picnic to the park. Two lovely playgrounds at the eastern and southern sides with shade and a sand pit. Dog off-lead area on the eastern side is popular and has dog fountains. The skate park, basketball courts, wetland area, and plentiful shade trees make this a really well-rounded, well-maintained park. Small, local community-created art installations dotted around the nooks of the park give it an ultimately cosy community feel. I feel very grateful to live only one block away.

J R A fair bit of glass bottles, cans, and booze boxes in the native vegetation section behind the Anzac memorial. Otherwise the park has a nice layout, multiple activities in different zones. Good for off lead dog walking and meeting other owners. Childrens playground, barbecue area, multiple water fountains (although the one at the childrens playground doesnt work atm), skate park, permanent exercise equipment, woodlands, pond, and a Lookout. Park backs onto a shopping centre, and apart from a random eye-sore tower block it is a nice setting.

Emily Chandler A seriously underrated spot, All Nations Park should be on your list for your next picnic in the inner north. The park has ample shade for hot days, and plenty of soft grassy spots for a picnic blanket. The lookout boasts some pretty nice views of the city skyline; and the parklands are big enough for a satisfying afternoon stroll. Being right next to Northcote Plaza, and high street, means you’re a stones throw from ample facilities, parking, and picnic supplies. Don’t forget to check the leafy walkways near the basketball courts if you’re after a picnic spot, either!

Barbara Wood Great baseball facility Pleasant clubroom and canteen. Safe area for children to play

Joliz Clarke Beautiful winters day walk. Very picturesque.

C Neam Play mixed netball at the school on Wednesday nights which is so incompetently run by Social Sport. No lights and they continue the games in the dark, only one umpire that they pay $25 a game, a venue manager who hides behind the bus shelter of a bench. Cheap and nasty and I guess you get what you pay for. Will not be back after this season.

Marina Clarke A perfect place for a picnic and catch up. Wonderful natural playground for the children to explore. There is a water bubbler just next to the playground so great on those hot days, however, there is no nearby toilet which can make it tricky for children. There are multiple tables to choose from, and lots of shady spots. Overall a great open space which is very family and dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Anthony Brown Great little park for the kids to play at the half court basketball/netball ring or on the play equipment. There are picnic tables/chairs (but no BBQ). Toilets are also available in the nearby footy oval.
5 /5
D M C Lovely except the grass was a little long which made it a little less appealing I suppose. Other than that; all good . A peaceful setting enjoyed by many of our 4 legged friends and their nates

R F Lovely gardens to walk around, sit for a picnic. Start of a great walking path to other nearby parks.

Shaun Davis It looks really old and a little creepy but at the same time it’s so peaceful and quiet

Genevieve Read Perfect for dogs of all sizes though a couple of owners of the bigger ones need to stay off their mobiles and supervise! Otherwise, most people seem to be careful and considerate- and very friendly.

Anony Mous Is this a dog park? Or two sports ovals surrounded by some park like area? Because it gets pretty tiring seeing all the dog poo where kids are spose to be playing sports as well as the dogs off leash running up to people and other dogs who are on leash. No its not a dog park & no signage to say otherwise. Its a shame some people ruin it for everyone else

Robin Irvine Set in the quaint backstreets of Fairfield, this is a traditional cricket oval of standard size, with a few native trees dotted around the boundary. There are toilets and I assume some basic changing facilities. There are also some cricket nets some 100m south west of the pitch itself. The wicket is concrete and the outfield is somewhat overgrown, but still absolutely suitable for playing, relaxing, jogging etc. The oval is currently undergoing some works and is due for reopening with upgrades in May 2022 - see photo, inset.

Andrew Watkins Our girls won a cricket match against Dennis Stage 2. Lovely bunch of people but the surface of this oval - even Steve Smith doing a cover drive wouldnt hit the boundary. This is not a grass oval. It is tufts of grass on top of an old opal mine waste area. How kids are expected to play sport and come away without injury ... clearly only designed for people to throw balls at dogs.

Gareth Malpeli I love this place, but the main oval has turned into swampy, muddy mess since it was returfed and had its drainage "improved". Both goal squares are now muddy messes - used to be just the carpark end - and there are muddy holes all over it. So not great to run laps around in winter if you want relatively dry feet, and good luck to any junior footballers who dont want to roll their ankles. The smaller oval hasnt been returfed, and its fine.

J & D Went to watch fireworks of city for NYE. Quite busy. Assembled at highest point of elevated road where viewing area of city was supposed to be best. Lots of peopke assembled but not much of a view of the city or the fireworks so we left shortly after they started.

Tone Not Required Just an elevated road some 30 feet above surrounding area. Try Mount Cooper at 137 metres which is Melbournes highest point for a full 360° panoramic view. Ps ZERO parking.
