Renee Curry The people working there have no idea what they are doing. I been calling almost every other day to try to solve a problem that I was put in. What ever training they got is honestly dog shit. Most of them had attitude and just trying to get this over with. I couldnt get their names. But thanks for being useless. Im so disappointed that the government could hire just anyone. We need people that would be willing to help the customers. If you dont like answering calls you are in the wrong place of business. Tulare CO health and human services you really need to do better.

zach nelsen i dont understand how they are this incompetent. My child has had to miss 3 rounds of immunization because they cant seem to keep anything straight, input wrong numbers, wrong addresses, wrong incomes, then make you wait on hold for who knows how long, this is day 4 hour 3 for me currently as i type this. place should be bombed. i have the taxes paper trail, YOURE the ones who are wrong. will they fix it this time, highly doubt, as their combined intellectual level is no further than hot chip, beat off, paycheck.

Jose Magadan I give them 3 ✨ s,cause I was helped lot faster than Tulare California, and at least workers treat you with lot more respect, Tulare California should be ashamed have workers talk to you bad,otherwise you trying explaining you well get kicked out program. Worthless and useless.

Love of Animals inc. Visalia CA It sounds like Im lucky since I havent yet had any experience with any of them. I think it is a very bad situation, when a DSS office is creating this many negative responses. I was just going to comment, that I can never get anyone on the phone. Just for general questions. Ive been calling every working day for a week and never get to talk to anyone. Are they that understaffed?

Macias Mercado Jessica (_mydearest_) I will be using a false name of Elliot for the sake of this comment. Mental health services were called to Elliots home, where Melinda arrived after Elliot had taken a handful of pills. I called in regard to this call and Melinda promised to call back after the crisis call she claimed to be on (ending our call at approximately 3pm). Hours later, Elliot was roaming the streets with cut up knuckles and Melinda arrived after police were on scene. Melinda refused to 5150 Elliot, even after Elliot admitted to their suicide attempt. Officers claimed Melinda had the final call for a 5150. Melinda refused to listen when Elliots entire family advocated for their need for mental health help and was rude to multiple family members when they attempted to advocate for Elliot. I am greatly disappointed in Melindas inadequacy and disregard for the law.

Julie Gonzalez I had my appointment for my nerve conduction test, the Dr was real nice & he was joking along with me as I was going through the test. I felt comfortable as can be considering there was discomfort for obvious reasons. The office was quiet & the receptionist was very nice.

Rita ceja I was so nervous after reading the reviews on Google. I had a very good experience. From the time I arrived the receptionist was very polite and helpful. Doctor Boota called me and let me know what he was going do. He reassured me I was going to have some discomfort. It was fast and easy. I did have some time discomfort but it didnt hurt at all. It is not at all what the reviews said. The test was fast. I was out and on my way. Thank you Dr. Boots and his staff.

Sora I had to call my clinic just to learn that I was referred here. The receptionists at this place are incompetent and slow. I waited 2, almost 3 whole months just to learn I was approved. Call the clinic, Altura something, and youre on hold for about 30-40 minutes, JUST to be transferred to a receptionist at the referral department who does not answer, ALL DAY and NOT return phone calls. Ridiculous. Im not going to even bother being seen here. Ill just go to somewhere else. Dont waste your time if you are referred here. The reviews are real.

Scott Barrett Worst medical experience ever. Took a month to review my referral, then another month to get an appointment. Showed up the the appointment early and the doctor didnt in walk into the office untill 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Finally get seen an hour after my appointment time. Get seen quickly with a incomplete exam and told I was going to need a test and they would call to schedule it with me. For 2 months they never called and when I called to schedule during that time, could never get thru or was told "were wait for the doctor to request the test". There is a reason this doctor has such low ratings. He has earned his terrible score. Save yourself the hassle and go to another doctor who believes in patient care.

Marlyn If I could give a 0 star review I would. This "neurologist" should NOT be a doctor. He is unqualified to treat patients. We waited months! months to see this Doctor for a severe nerve condition. When we were finally able to see him, he said "what do you want me to do, theres nothing I can do" Not an ounce of compassion or care for his patients. His staff, especially the girl named Stephanie is also inept and will not work with you at all to help. They are rude and inconsiderate. Do Not Go Here! Change networks if you have to or if he is your only option.

Lisa Diane Very good doctor very aggressive with the workmen comp insurance company that don’t want to help he will refer you out to specialist and keep following through until you can get some medical & prescription. ! Workmen’s comp is the worse!

Robert Carter Worst place for a drug screen I’ve ever been to. As a class a driver I have to test all the time I’ve been here over an hour and the waiting room has cleared out twice and I still haven’t been called in. If it were busy I would understand but not when it’s empty. Stay away from here

Diana Valencia This place is by far the most unprofessional place ever…they make u wait an hour after your appointment time all while they make u wait in another room only to bring u into a room so that the provider can go in order…this is the worst place ever the girls in the front ignore u while ur asking a question but have no issue jumping on their cell phone to send a text message

Sylvia Ayala this place is terrible. I urge anyone that gets an injury not to go there. I was treated so bad not by all, but this assistant that was there was mean rude and judgmental. We go in there for help because we need answers about our injuries and she looked at me like if I was a liar or I was stupid no compassion no empathy for the patients.

Haley Talley If I could put zero stars I would. Honestly the constant rescheduling was extremely frustrating. I get things change and we need to be accommodating, however I received multiple calls in one day to confirm an appointment, only for it to be cancelled by the provider. In addition, I specifically stated when making an appointment what needed to be done for my daughter, and the appointment was still made. I came in, showed the paperwork that she needed a specific kind of blood test and was still told I was incorrect. I took off work, and wasted my time. Will not go back.

Antonio Aceves Horrible experience here. Came here for my wifes first OBGYN and we had to wait 2 hours to be attended by Dr. Overturn. She spent a total of maybe 4 minutes with us and refused to look at paperwork she needed to sign for my paternity leave. Then I come in on Monday Morning and get a male Doctor and when I asked if he could sign my do umentation for paternity leave he said "I cant sign this, because you want a vacation". Like dude this is my first child, childcare after birth is not a vacation. How a family doctor even says that is beyond me. We then went to the clinic in Visalia and literally in a matter of 2 minutes after talking to a health educator there, she filled out the form and responded that she understands this form needs to be filled out so I dont get fired from my job for taking a leave to be with my wife and newborn. How a health educator is more well educated than someone who went to medical school is beyond me. I wouldnt come to this clinic if my life was ending. Hard pass.

ReadingInRed Imagine a doctor laughing at a patient regarding their medical concerns. This place is an absolute joke. Dr. Overton, you are the most unprofessional, uncaring doctor I have ever heard of. Just because you have a medical license doesnt mean you know whats going on in someones body. Next time instead of laughing at your patient and making assumptions, perhaps try doing your job, listen to your patient, and provide care instead of making your patients cry.

Matthew (MattOTMHS) If I could give zero stars I would. Receptionists are unprofessional and stupid. Requiring unneeded authorization’s to see a doctor for my child. Not to mention earlier this year when they actively ignored an important doctors note for my child’s health. Don’t come here if you can avoid it. Craptacular service negative 5 stars.

Yesenia Avianeda I sat in with the Dr for less than 2 min. She was very judgmental and I didn’t feel comfortable talking to her because of that. I would ask questions and she would make me feel dumb for asking them. When she used medical terminology I asked what she meant by that, she seemed frustrated when I asked but still didn’t answer my question. I understand she has a lot of patients she has to see but I honestly felt like she rushed my appointment. Won’t be going again.

Debbie Goodman The experience that I’ve had with this place is through a friend of mine, who has a son that is mentally ill. Her 40-something-year-old son destroyed the inside of their house, breaking everything, including pulling the washing machine and the dryer away from the wall and turning them on their side. He wrecked their television set. He tore their bedroom door off of the hinges, and threatened to kill my friend’s husband. He even killed their kitten by cutting its head off with a knife. My friend had to spend thousands of dollars on an attorney, getting her son evicted. The police finally came and took him away and he was placed in this mental hospital. After a month, the hospital told my friend if she didn’t take him back into her home, he would be released into the streets. I spoke with a friend of mine last night, who is a nurse in Sacramento, and she said it is the hospital’s responsibility to keep a patient such as this until they can find a place for them. Why did this hospital Fail my friend?!

celeste martinez Horrible, nurses talk about other patients in front of other patients arnt you there to help us? All they do is drug u up and want u to participate in groups wich is coloring or word searches most of the time in order for u to get out u dont get therapy dont get actual help at all.

New Nebula Nurses were fine, but dear god are the doctors miserable to deal with. Theres also no therapy if hospitalized, so dont expect recovery. Their job is to stop you from killing yourself, not make you *not* want to kill yourself.

Morgan Rose This facility has failed my mother as well as refused her quality mental health care. We have been met with nothing but negligence and a lack of exhibiting proactive mental health care. Instead this mental health hospital is just medicating and ignoring their duty to interact with patients. However, a combination of therapy, support, and at times medication, is needed for patients to have a chance at improving. From the facilities website, “ Patients receive care of mental conditions from experienced psychiatrists.” This is untrue, and the psychiatric staff does not see or value these patients as humans. My mom is so sick, and she desperately wants help. We desperately want help getting my mother the care she deserves. The quality care that every individual who is admitted deserves. The staff does not understand that they are not meeting their legal and ethical duties. Dr. Daneshavar (license number A116728) in particular is not complying with the ethical codes of his profession and releasing false information about a very common drug used for bipolar patients. In order to treat people suffering from mental illness, competence is critical. He is certified by the ABPN (ID: 178119) and their professionalism requirements are, “Professionalism forms the basis of medicine’s contract with society. The ABPN is concerned with those aspects of professionalism that are demonstrated through a physician’s clinical competence, commitment to lifelong learning and professional improvement, interpersonal skills, and ethical understanding and behavior.” He has demonstrated that he does not meet the listed criteria. Behaviors and actions of his make it clear he has no bedside manner or compassion for his patients. He lacks morality and will not listen to our concerns due to his distorted view of his own professional “success”, and a high opinion of his own capabilities. While his arrogance cannot be reported as an ethical violation on any board, it shows his character and intentions. As someone who is educated in the field of psychology and psychiatric care, it was alarming to find out just how harmful and dangerous his behavior and lack of competence are. Giving patients false information about a medication and reactions is also an ethical violation. He is a professional and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our community, yet he is dismissive, rude, pompous, blames the patients, and gives completely untrue information that even someone who didn’t know much about this field could easily access a medical journal to show how harmful his misinformation is. There are many more staff members who have shown negligence and lack of competence. The amount of employees this facility has that are in this profession for the right reasons are few and far between, but they are appreciated by families like ours. I will not stop fighting, reporting negligence to each specialty board, and demanding answers for how a whole facility is able to fail so many. It is time to question why their readmission rates are so unbelievably high. Why is the focus not on rehabilitation? Our community and patients suffering from mental illnesses deserve better.

Nora Rivera My mother went to see Lisa Higgins for the first time after multiple phone calls arguing with the staff if they took her insurance or not she finally got a appointment, when my mom went for her first visit the receptionist was extremely rude to her she asked my mom if she filled out the new patient paperwork that was sent to her and my mom stated she never received the paperwork instead of giving the option to my mom about filling the paperwork out the receptionist wanted to cancel her appointment when clearly my mom told her she never received the paperwork, she felt so un welcomed by the staff their, she felt like no one cared and the only reason she waited was because she had been waiting a long time to see the NP, I work at a private walk in clinic and I would never treat my patients that way, they are the ones who keep our doors open, they need to do something drastic to the staff in that office because clearly they dont care about there jobs nor the patients, its sad when the providers are amazing and the staff just ruin everything. I just hope they do a change before its to late.

Harper Ferro As a diabetic, being able to reach your endocrinologist is EXTREMELY important; the kind of thing that can have you hospitalized if your calls are never returned. I have attempted to reach this office quite literally hundreds of times since becoming a patient here. They have answered the phone two times. Most of the time, all calls go directly to voice mail. When it doesnt go directly to voice mail, it rings until it does. Messages left on their answering machine are never responded to.

Angelina Amaya Gutierrez I absolutely love the staff at the hospital. They took good care of me. Thankyou. When I needed something they got it when I asked questions they gave me as much information as they could. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Melody Lysgaard Basically no service in the ER. Waiting room is filled with patients who could be served in the urgent care center here; this not an emergency care facility, it is serving as an outpatient clinic while patients who do need and deserve more rapid attention go unserved. If there is a triage system here it is not being utilized. I have worked in EDs of every description over the last 60 years (and still working!) including this hospital. Shame on this facility.
