Gary Shaw THIS WAS AMAZING! God, I loved it SO MUCH!!! The leaves were so intricate and beautiful, the trunk so strong and the locals so kind! Be careful not to disturb the neighbours though, although this is a very busy tourist spot, the neighbours have left a few signs to be quite. This is the most amazing thing ever. 10/10

V Ly Great little area to walk the dog off lead, lots of bush land and a river so the dog can have a good sniffari as well as a dip in the water to cool off. Lots of pathways and areas for bike riding too. Will be bringing my dog back here, for sure!

Sarah Grundy Look, Im not writing this scathing review cos I dont like dogs okay? I love dogs. Some of my best friends are dogs. I used to have a dog. Im a 35yr old white woman, I remember when we used to call them floofers and Boop them- we are in a better time now. So if we are in a better time, then riddle me this. How is it that in 2025, we can send Katy Perry to the moon but I cant go for a walk on my beloved Merri without wheeling my pram through poo? I dont know how it happens but every walk I go on I return with more poo than I left with, and thats saying something cos I have a baby and I have a coffee and a green smoothie for breakfast. Look, I get it, I used to be one of you people. Your dog does a shit and you side eye around, no ones looking and its just a few pebbles. Youve had a long day at work, so you treat yourself and leave the poo. Its natural right? If the bugs and ants can shit everywhere why not your dog right? So continue your walk with your empty bag and empty conscience. I get it, life is hard. Weve got Trump over there running amok and Bridget Jones is having hot sex with 29 year olds. Sex and the city has returned with no Samantha. Yes life is tough. But all I ask is this. Next time youre staring at your dogs most recent pile of steaming brown treasure, ask yourself if your next move will benefit all of man and woman kind. Because dont we all deserve a better world? Lovely reserve. IG @saravingreviews

Jay Birchy Absolutely amazing tour, not only from a historical perspective, but an informative one also. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories from prisoners past and having the ability to walk around and take your time looking at the place. Glad they have retained many of the original fittings and fixtures and havent modernised the entirety of the old girl. Well worth your time. If you get the opportunity to come back and walk around at night, make sure you do so. The Adina Apartments which are on the old grounds of Pentridge is well worth your stay. You wont be disappointed.

Katy T Damian and George did our tour. Damian gave an excellent sensitive presentation and I felt like he really honoured the memory of those who we were unfortunate enough to have experienced Pentridge. I also respected his historical knowledge and enjoyed the way he brought meaning to the environment with stories and facts. I was totally engaged for the full 90mins - thank you for the passion you have for your job Damian - it really made our evening special !

Tara Gray Highly recommend this experience! Damian and Austin led the tour with passion, knowledge and ease. A glimpse into our state’s history, The Night Watch tour was the perfect combination of poignant and insightful. The stories will stay with you!

Brandon Wong It was an awesome historical place to learn about how gruesome prisoners were treated at Melbourne H prison. Love the interactive technology, sound and projected real prisoners talk about their experiences not too long ago.

Naranjeen T It was interesting to visit this notorious prison, we visited H division and the guide was great in explaining the history and an insight to how prisoners were treated. But I felt the audio tour of the division itself was not very interesting.

(382) Reviews Harmony Park:

James Cassar Chasing Balloons and Finding Gold This morning, I woke up to the sight of hot air balloons floating across the sky like it was no big deal. Naturally, I grabbed a coffee, ignored everything I was supposed to do, and followed them like a detective in a true-crime show (except with way less purpose and way more trackies). The chase led me to Harmony Park in Coburg—a park so good I’m wondering why I hadn’t stumbled across it earlier. This place has everything. A playground that makes you wish you were 10 again, a skate park for the kids who can actually ride (and the ones just loitering with their mates), and loads of room to chuck down a picnic rug. It’s just the right size—not so massive you need Google Maps, but not so tiny you feel like you’re in someone’s backyard. The real plot twist, though? Those balloons didn’t just float by—they actually landed in the park. Yep, Harmony Park doubles as a balloon landing strip. One minute you’re thinking, “This is a nice place for a picnic,” and the next you’re watching giant flying baskets touch down like it’s the most casual thing in the world. Honestly, I was waiting for someone to hop out and offer me champagne. So, if you’re after a park with playgrounds, picnic spots, skate vibes, and occasional balloon touchdowns, Harmony Park is where it’s at. Who knew following floating objects could lead to such a solid morning?

Amelia Cerra Great space and play area with a basketball court, however toilets are disgusting and need further maintenance. The picnic benches under the eaves are spacious however extremely dusty because of the gravel, would have been better if they simply concreted the area, there’s always a wind tunnel under there.

Rodriguez Juan (JD) Awesome park, it has everything for everyone. Big playground with 4 slides and plenty of gym stuff. 5 swings, huge sandpit with some in-build games, logs for equilibrium, web ropes for climbing and a small slide for the younger ones. It also have a decent BBQ area that’s covered and a public bathroom nearby. Wait… there’s more, it is next to the skate park and there is plenty green space for a footy/soccer match. So it has everything, 5 ⭐️ definitely.

Mel Cullen A big park that has a tunnel slide, two slides side by side, a medium slide, a small slide, rope bridge, wheels you can spin, tunnel, a boat, birds nest swing, hammock, sand pit, seasaw, line up 4, digger, swings, climbing frame, musical chimes you can bang and musical trampoline, gym equipment, skate park basketball court, undercover tables and bench seats, drinking tap, BBQ and tolite lots of grass area to play on for the kids and dogs and rubbish bins
5 /5
Kawther Z Good playground where kids can experience various skills such as making sounds, building with sand, jumping and climbing. There is also skating area within the park. I saw sings of no BBQ is allowed and it could be new because earlier reviews claimed there is BBQ spots.
