rollie nelson A bad place to go if you want genuine medical care. This facility is more concerned with giving appointments to drain your insurance than it is concerned about your health, wellness or quality of life. I and others have suffered as a direct result of actions taken by the staff of this facility. Management refuses to address the issues. There is little to no oversight on medical care providers that operate low this. I advise patients with chronic pain or chronic illnesses to avoid all stallant medical clinics.

Doreen Kaylor Stallant Health is by far the best customer service and physicians that I have ever had. They are friendly, efficient and greet me by name when I come in. I have been in the waiting room no longer than 15 minutes at the most

Doreen Kaylor The people at Stallant Health are always friendly and greet me by name when I come in. The doctors are efficient and see you in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone and am working on the rest of my family to transfer to this clinic. The dental dept. Is also dependable and friendly.

Michele DeVoe We were cycling through and I had a very bad case of poison oak. Tina at registration was very efficient. The doctor saw me quickly and I was out in about 45 minutes with oral steroids and a prescription for meds. ERs are unpredictable and can take hours.So glad this did not.

Jennifer Hall I would like to send a shout out to Wendy in the ER at the front desk. She was wonderful. My grandmother was just released and I wasnt prepared at all. Didnt know what and how to get her home as it is hard in my trucks. I dont know many people in this area and what programs there is arounf here. She knew just how to keep me calm and get me as much info she could. I just wanted to say i appreated all you dod for me . Thank you

Gina S Doctor Foott was acting strange. Accused me of recording him (I wasnt), and handled my injured hands roughly. Seemed annoyed I was even there. I was concerned and went back for a second check on my wounds, and the other professionals were equally dismissive.

Michael Austin I will never ever ever recommend this hospital to anyone Not even a exspecially a pregnant woman Please doctors have no knowledgeThey shouldnt even have their licenses to practice My wife went in for a thyroid issue And were told by the doctor that its completely okay As that she said they do not treat for thyroid problems out of the emergency room Even her OB at the same HospitalI said to her in office that he doesnt feel comfortable Treating her thyroid issue Apparently its okay for a pregnant woman to go through a thyroid issue even though it says directly if a pregnant woman thyroid is high it can cause health problems for her an baby Only go to this hospital if you have a plan for your death i dont even understand how this hospital even has a 3.4 raising it should be a 1 star rating because of the doctors having no knowledge or just not caring for women that are pregnant

Lori Davis The Phlebotomy Technician I think her name was May she was outstanding I can’t say enough positive things about how skilled she was! Like I’m so impressed and appreciate her soo much! My son was so nervous and he started panicking. But she handled him with such skill. He was in shock that it didn’t hurt. She even counted down for him. But the way she did it she gave him what he asked for, then did it so quickly he didn’t have time to think to much and freak out. So it was one and done thanks for your skill you really did a rockstar job!

Jay Herbert Twice now they did not refill my prescriptions to my Pharmacy and I am on beta blockers blood pressure medication and they dont seem to understand the dangers of cutting people off of their meds thankfully my Pharmacy gave me a few pills to last me a few days!!

Daniel Pace Being caller #1,listening to continuous ringing for an hour and 20 minutes..I was still unable to make an appointment! Not to mention I go without my BP medication half the month because they are incompetent of getting my prescription right. I have only been taking it for 25 years. I have now stopped taking it because I they never answer to make an appointment.

Shannon Pace Dustin Jacot is the best ever! BUT,only/when if they ever answer the damn phone to make an appointment!! Im not sure they deserve 2 stars. I have been listening to this flipping phone ring for almost 30 minutes!!!! Let me add that I was caller 1! Nobody answering to ask me to continue to hold or anything..continuous ringing!!!! As for my fiance on disability paying $200.00 a month for medical has "NOT ONVE)received decent care. They can never refill his blood pressure medicine on time,always a Hassel and him going "AT LEAST" 3 weeks without it because they are incompetent!! I will leave it at that (44 minutes of ringing now)

Dylan Lee-Reidel I have lived here my entire life and the health care in del norte county has always been up and down, but with recent health issues my care provider has been giving me the care I need, he is doing his job, and you can tell he is trying. Best care Ive had, so Im quite satisfied.

Kim Cisneros Labor and Delivery was wonderful. I am so grateful to Dr. Putnam and the entire nursing staff for their thoroughly knowledgeable care. They worked with my birth plan as much as possible, even through some pretty serious complications. I had a beautiful birth and felt so taken care of postpartum. I would have another child here!

Adam Goldstein My wife and I had a wonderful experience with our child being born here. We typically live in the Bay Area but decided to come to Sutter Coast for our birth and to spend our first few months after in the beauty of Del Norte County. Unexpectedly, my wife had several late-term and post-birth complications; the care here was excellent for all of them. I want to particularly thank Dr. Claire Putnam for her thoughtful and creative work helping my wife deliver without at C-section! The nurses were caring, knowledgeable, and helpful for help with things like breastfeeding and swaddling, and the birth rooms were spacious and comfortable. I know its a rural hospital, but the care was excellent, and I plan to be back.

Bob Lawrence I have had two recent experiences with Sutter Coast here and have been impressed with both visits. In November I had an out patient procedure that went very well. The entire staff was professional and friendly. Yesterday I had to go to the ER. Once again I was treated professionally and with kindness. Thank you Sutter Coast for being there for me.

Alicia Fender The nurses are always so rude to people, they have the worst attitudes ever! Don’t even try to speak to the “ House Supervisor “ cause she just talks down to you like you’re stupid. This hospital kept saying I was searching for pills when I went in multiple times a week for 3 weeks due to severe abdominal pain. They wouldn’t run any test or draw my blood to see what was going on. They asked me to explain my symptoms and sent me on my way saying I’m fine. Went to Medford hospital and I was 3 weeks constipated and they don’t understand how Sutter could just dismiss me. DO BETTER!

Denise Larson Tweed I’m on vacation with my family and my toddler needed to be seen rather urgently. Sutter Coast Walk-In Clinic was my only same day option for care. The whole experience was 5 stars. The front desk staff was helpful, kind, and attentive. We were seen within the hour of arriving and the nurse and PA were great with my toddler. They completed preliminary labs on-site and followed up with the pharmacy to make sure the order was bring worked on before we left the clinic. Now we can all enjoy our vacation!

Patty Hinger Excellent service. I was on vacation passing through and needed sutures removed from my face. I did not have an appointment but was helped in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe 15 minutes. The PA. Shannon was excellent, very kind and very caring. She removed all the sutures and prescribed and ointment. She was not hurried or rushed even though I had no appointment. I would definitely recommend this place.

Russ Causley I had a solid experience here and got good service when I went in with a ruptured ear drum. Waited for 1.5 hours, but I was still just thankful they could see me at all on short notice and being from out of town. With regards to the bad reviews: It is not an ER so don’t go with a life-threatening condition; is it not an Urgent Care either so anticipate a wait, bring something to do, and treat the staff nicely when they finally see you. Be glad you can get service of any kind without an appointment and you’ll probably have a good experience too. If you get grumpy because you have to wait (which should be expected at a walk-in clinic) and aren’t nice to the staff, chances are they won’t be nice to you either. You get when you give.

Devinne Bryant I came here Friday feeling warm and had a horrible earache. So I came to the walk in to get checked and the nurse took my temp and if ran 100.2 and then she said strep is going around so she tested me for that and it came back positive. She was nice but the doctor has terrible bedside manner and was asking me if I had a lazy eye and saying I had a rash in my ears. I told her that it was psorasis and already being treated and then she prescribed me an antibiotic and said I had fluid and swelling in my ear. She didnt give me anything for the pain just an antibiotic. Then wrote me a note for work saying I cant return until March 7th. When I thought strep was only contagious for 24 hrs while on antibiotics. I asked if I felt better, with no fever could I return to work and she said she wouldnt recommend it. I just found out I dont have the time to cover being out that long so I went back in today saying I was feeling better and needed a new dr note for work and the lady at the front desk looked me up and told me that Dr wont be back until Thursday so she cant sign off on it until then. The medical professionals here are horrific. Crescent city really needs better medical care. No help at all!!

Shawna Hyatt Zero stars would be more accurate. I went in for an infection and was told nothing was wrong with me. The Dr. took a culture, refused to prescribe an antibiotic because she "did not practice bad medicine" and sent me out the door. I had to go to Redwood Urgent Care right after where I was treated and given an antibiotic. 2 weeks later with no phone call on results (I left 2 VM) I finally got a call from Sutter Urgent Care saying I did have an infection. This would have turned into a life threatening emergency because I was misdiagnosed and denied treatment. I am having a very hard time not feeling angry about this.

Russell Cox Cant get in to see your primary care provider. Takes 6 weeks or longer to get an appointment. My prescription expired by 3 days and had 2 refills left on it and Dr would not call in to renew for just 30 days to get me thru to the appointment that was 6 weeks out. Dr does not the care of the patient as primary. Some people like me travel the entire state for work and it us very difficult to maintain a primary care physician and to be in a specific place on a given date to renew prescriptions. This Dr will no work with you in any way to provide the care she signed up to does a doctor.

Bobby K Came as an international patient (Canada) for my 4 year old son. Staff was friendly and quickly got us in. Nurse and doctor quickly diagnosed him and gave us a prescription. They were both very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

Kim Hood Ive been trying to make an appointment for my dad. Ive called 10 times. The clinic says the dr hasnt sent something. So each time Ive also had to call his Dr. Who say theyve sent it 3 times. Now the woman at the clinic has decided she cannot talk to me until my sick father who NEEDS surgery, travels the halfhour each way to sign a form. I am Shocked at the utter incompetence but since they are the only surgeons we are trapped.

Beee Mee Im 59 yr old woman in april i saw Dr reed. I was treated rude, called a liar. I have blown discs in my back,right leg goes dead and numb and i have pulmonary issues.. She has all the facts and has done nothing. I fall due to my right leg i have great pain at night so i dont sleep much at all. I struggle to breathe at night due to her refusing to give proper asthma meds. Im failing to thrive! Family history heart problems, cancer, diabetes and life span that does not reach 60 yrs of age. My daily life has become full of pain.. dr reed is dangerous arrogant.. If u cant sleep, cant eat right, cant function right thats failure to thrive! As i said facts are there yet no help, no remedy, no compassion , no care at all!! Neglect is doing harm yet she took oath to cure, to heal.... This is just some of what i go through this isnt even the whole story... With holding treatment, neglect and pure laziness! You know she sure is taking payment from my insurance! Fraud in my opinion!!! Again health care in crescent city is dangerous, leave run move far away!!!! Docs here will kill you! Almost has killed me! This last year had 5 people go in for care. Three were treated like gold and two were given substandard care. Same insurance but 3 had 35.00 copay those were the ones treated well given better docs and care. They documented and sent results to sacramento. To all who been given bad care,ignored care and threats from mrs roland file complaint with partnership and medical. Join in class actin against, dr.reed,dr.lee and group as a whole corrupt,racist, and unfair practices. If we do not stand together nothing changes and more will suffer,die and become much worse.... Thank you plz join in sacramento... The 5 people who are involved in exposing negligence,malpractice and refusal do thier job, these were county employees working in various departments.. Found sutter health to be appalling!

Gina Harris Prior to attending the Sutter Coast Community Clinic today, my husband called in advance and confirmed the walk in clinic was accepting patients until 4:30 pm. I’m an essential worker who lives 25 miles away. As soon as I was able to leave work, I raced against the clock and walked in the clinics door at 4:29 pm. The front office staff spent 5 minutes determining what paperwork I would need to complete and whether I would be seen. I was finally told that I couldnt be seen "today," because I arrived after 4:30 pm. It was 4:35 pm. I corrected the staff person (I walked in the door prior to 4:30 pm) and was then told I couldnt be seen because my paperwork work couldnt be completed before 4:45 pm, and the person I would be seeing had to leave by 5:00 pm — ah, the truth comes out. I was then told I would need to come back Monday. I bit my tongue and left. Fast forward 9 hours to 1:40 am. My sinus health was rapidly declining, so I went to Curry Medical ER. I was treated rapidly with compassion, competency, and incredible professionalism… for frontal sinusitis. Oh did I fail to mention, the folks at Sutter’s ENT clinic tried to convince me that my symptoms “probably aren’t a sinus” problem, since they couldnt be bothered to treat me? Save your time, money, energy, and sanity by avoiding the Sutter Community Clinic and go to Curry Medical, Coos Bay, or Medford. If youre reading this review, youve probably read other reviews regarding poor service at this clinic. Things were sub par prior to the pandemic. They certainly havent improved. BTW Sutter Coast Community Clinic, it only took 10 minutes at Curry ER to do the job you should have done — you would have been done by 5:00 pm and you would have made additional $ for Sutter Health.

Cathy McGrew I was told they accept Medicare and that it is a very small chance that I would have any problem with a bill. I saw the LCSW 3 times and Psychiatrist twice via telemed. Eight months later I received a $2,000 bill! They lied to me and I needed help.

Emily Mulheran They have NO IDEA how to triage patients. People with severe, recurrent mental illness, including me, who come for life-saving care get pushed to the curb because of “COVID anxiety” walk-ins to crisis. I had just moved here and had to use the service until I got real psychiatric care. I thought they could help. They said I could see a nurse practitioner for med refills and receive a tele-health visit with a psychiatrist. They did 2 different assessments, apparently because my original caseworker was not available because of crisis walk/ins. They admitted it was a lot of folks who couldn’t deal with covid anxiety. They promised BOTH times to follow up and get me stopgap services until I could get an appointment with my new psychiatrist. Oh wow…I never even got any follow up, despite my decades long, necessary treatment for schizoaffective disorder. Thank God I found a REAL psychiatrist before my former psychiatrist in Chico could no longer prescribe my meds because i could not go there for an appointment and they weren’t yet doing virtual appointments. I hate to think of what could happen to those like me who have no access or means to visit a real psychiatrist. Total waste of time, and then they tried to bill me an exorbitant amount of money. HA good luck with that. I have written to every county and state representative on behalf of all people living with serious, ongoing mental illness about this ABYSMAL “service,” their utter failure at triaging people with severe mental illness vs those who walk into crisis with something easily treatable with individual or group therapy, and the possible lives lost because of their ineptitude.

Dari Shoat I just moved to the Area and Decided to go to the Sutter Hospital thinking they would be able to help me manage my symptoms. Not once did they ask me about my medical history or ask my for my symptoms. The doctor asked me about Three of my symptoms and I got told I had constipation and a Meth diagnosis when I dont have an issue with illegal drugs I never have. I have been unable to breathe and Im extremely pail and have been bleeding for almost a month from my vaginal area. I have not felt the strings to my iud I can only feel the iud along with my partner he can only feel the iud along with other issues.

Tom Anthony Horrible experience. My son had food poisoning and was in agony. Since we were not from the area we were directed by our hotel to go here. The receptionist couldnt had been more rude and condesending. She didnt seem to want to help us...Im not sure why. At first she questioned our insurance and when she learned that we had excellent insurance she said they were too busy. Again us not being from the area we were off again with a crying child Is this how medical professionals are supposed to act?
