Leo N Dr. Poon Charles and the attending nurse Hayk. Thank you both for your professional, attentive, compassionate, bedside manners and taking care of my father at the ER. The initial check-in was effortless and fast. The girls at the front did an awesome job on that as well. The staff were amazing, friendly and wonderful people. There was a second nurse he was very nice also (i forgot his name.) Overall, A+ which is hard to come by now a days in CA hospitals. Once again thank you staff for such an amazing job! Id highly recommend anyone to go with a piece of mind if in need of an emergency service knowing youll be treated as priority and be in good hands.

Posit1ve E First time I brought my mom to emergency room she had very high blood pressure and was about to lose consciousness, they said you ok go home and prescribed some blood pressure pills after we got home in like 20 min she lost consciousness we went back there they put her in a room and connected to IV after like a hour I noticed that liquid in IV the does not decrease( nobody would even come inside to check up on her whole hour ) I went to call a nurse turned out they connected it wrong and then liquid stopped again after like 30 min and I went to ask help again , they literally don’t dive a damn about what’s going on in a room and never came to check up. Second time I brought my father after he left his hand under the car hood , they did 6 stitches and prescribed antibiotics and painkillers and said to come back in 2 days for re bandaging , after we visited therapist in 4 days turned out that they prescribed wrong antibiotics and painkillers , they did bad stitches all 6 of them were torn after 4 days , on the follow up day doctor did wrong bandaging and my father now has infection in his finger. I don’t know what to say I want to cry and destroy everything at the same time

Johnny Blues Been here so long waiting almost 2 hours now. Barely anyone here and they keep skipping me. Havent even called me for the check in exam. The place is dirty tonight and smells bad. Its really hot in here. The bathrooms are disgusting and the vending machine is broken and took my money. Ill never come back here.

pshoan Wife had severe abdomen pain. Called 911. Guys showed up in 7 minutes. Took her here in 10 minutes. Sat with her until she got a bed in ER (30 minutes) All the doctors and nurses in ER were attentive, very polite and professional. Never refused to answer my stupid questions and discuss my amateur theories. Ran a bunch of tests: blood, ultrasound, MRI Discovered appendicitis after 7 hours of testing Surgery in 1 hour after the diagnosis Done My wife is alive and well all thanks to these incredible people P.S. on top of that the hospital is very clean and modern

Bea Catapang I’m so grateful for my experience at this emergency department. From the security team to the medical staff who helped me exit, everyone on Nov 5, 2024 night shift was incredible. Their calm, efficient and friendly approach put me at ease during a stressful time. The place was also organized and clean. They were friendly and accommodating and my friend who waited with me also felt comfortable. Even though it was a busy night, the team managed everything quickly. I was done within two hours. The x-ray staff was as kind and even took the time to ask how to pronounce my name correctly and also explained the entire process politely to me. I’m truly thankful for what you all do and appreciate each of you. Keep it up. Thank you!

Mary Cheung EMERGENCY ROOM is Very disappointing so far. I had tested myself for covid. Went to urgent care and was told I could only go to emergency room or my physician. Reason being that at the ER hospitals they will have an Isolation room so that I dont inffect everyone else. I though they would take covid pretty seriously. Only to find they have checked us in, with no seemingly urgency to the fact that I have covid. There is no room in which to Isolation me. So I am just sitting in general population and am sitting 6 ft away from anyone else... thats it. It seemed like their staff was pretty efficient and quick. But I had to keep telling them the same info over and over again. And over an hr and a half later am still sitting in waiting area with everyone. My daughter came to get tested to make sure she Doesnt have it. And in alllllll this time... they have yet to give her a covid test yet. Honesty if I knew it was so hard to get that done...I would of grabbed a home test kit and had her tested by now. We were told, had to jump through all these hoops in order to get the Covid treatment by all the web site info I have searched. Only to find Every thing is not as what you read or.. As easy and simple as it should be with covid. So! It seems... you should have the decency to catch covid during hrs where you can go to your regular physician, or...... have all the time in the world to sit in ER with everyone else while you have a high chance of infecting everyone. The restrooms didnt even have the foot door pulls. So you know, everyone else is touching the handles.... Ok. This is ridiculous.... we have talked to 4 different people at different stages... and NOBODY knows anything that the person b4 them asked. Even though. People are writing stuff down and taking notes..... and they keep asking the Same... questions. Again... why arent they reading the chart and the notes??? Soo unefficent! We finally get into the "inner" room and they asked why are we here and what do we hope to happen while here? Ahh I dont know.. youre only the 6th person weve told that I have Covid! and would like to be treated for it... as well test my daughter to see if she is safe or not. There has GOT to be a better system. This one isnt working. There are so many problems I see that need fixing with our medical system. And you would think that , at least this.. Emergency room can do better to serve the public and... their employees better. I am very very disappointed indeed with this place. Had I know this was how it ran...I would of waited till tomorrow morning then go to my regular physician. 1. See physician 2. Test for covid 3. Get treatment Thats it!! Thats how it should be!!! Approaching 2 hr mark here in the ER...... Oh... and there signage directions are HORRIBLE I keep going around and around.. never quite finding the entrance to the ER or parking entrance for the ER. Really they need to fix that... UPDATE 3 hrs later, we finally talk to the nurse who saw us. And I have to say, I appreciated the Wisdom of her decision for the choice that she made for why she didnt give us the Covid treatment. And if I wasnt so irrated, stressed & annoyed at how the entire evening went, I would of been more appreciative. So heres the conclusion: 1. Sent home with printed instructions for what to do. Didnt need any covid treatment because we were healthy and strong enough to just deal with it as per printed instructions. But had to ask them, wait... what do I do? Because Ive never had covid. 2. Was never isolated while in waiting room with everyone else.... once identified as to what I have the minute I stepped in to the ER, shouldnt they of put us somewhere separate as to not infect the other people . 3. There needs to be better communicate btw nurses As well with patients as to what the"steps & procedures" are, so youre not just sitting around waiting not knowing why, just getting more pissed. Knowing & understanding what their game plan for you is, goes along way too being a better & less angry patient.

Mikey Harmon If someone is experiencing symptoms of appendicitis, you don’t make them wait. You get them on a gurney and order a CT scan. That’s exactly what they did. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely thoughtful across all departments I had to go through. ER, OR, Oncology, and Radiation. Really can’t thank them enough. USC had me waiting on the floor of the ER for hours before we just left. Wish I had come here first and should I need to in the future, I will. Avoid USC Verdugo at all costs.

Narmer Preciado I wish I could give this place negative stars. Terrible experience. The office is small and located on a the campus of Thomas Edison school. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I waited over an hour. Dr. Garduno was unprofessional, combative, and even said, I don’t care. This doctor is definitely in need of retirement—a 90-year-old, cranky man! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Arielle Padilla It’s upsetting with healthcare already being a mess. Finding good care is also becoming a problem. But this office just needs a revamp and more help I imagine. The main doctor for this office is also getting to retirement age to say nicely. Only 1 woman was fair and I argued with her. I told my grandma we would find her different primary care. Hopefully they can get it together here.

KG Development The absolute worst experience Ive ever had with a doctor. He kept me waiting for over an hour because "he was on a call". As I told him about my experience he berated me and asked me multiple time to explain my issue despite my giving him the same answer every time. It was traumatic enough to feel like I was having arthritis in my hands but to have a doctor yell at me as I was trying to explain my issue was horrifying. He should not be allowed to practice medicine. His reviews across the board are terrible.

April Rosen Kept me waiting for nearly 90 minutes past my appointment time only to babble incoherently at me and question why I was even there for an appointment because he "didnt see anything wrong with me" after looking for 10 seconds. I dont wanna say hes lazy but I struggle to think of anything else to explain the way I was treated.

Melissa Justice 4 years later and I am still with Dr. Leonardo Garduno. Why? Because like anyone you have to get to know the person and them getting to know you. Dr. Garduno is always late but he is always nice. Yes, you have to tell him your concerns fast, but believe it or not he is listening and its kinda of nice for a change to have him ask you about your life. Other things in your life have an impact on how you feel. Now, I have heard him get upset at patients who start complaining about how long they have been in the waiting room and he will just tell you you dont like it leave. As for his nurse Sarah, she is no nonsense and firm but once you get to know her she is a very gracious.

Julia Negom My doctor was great. This review is about the facility, not the doctor. Prepare to pay much more than the estimated cost they provide you with each visit. Their billing department will add hospital bed charge to each visit, which will increase your copayment dramatically, about four times of estimated. Not sure why they even provide and make you sign the estimated cost, if it is so inaccurate. Their phone billing support is outside of country, and not able to resolve any issues. They are billing for a hospital bed, even you are not hospitalized, just because their facility is located next to the hospital.
