Bruce Lodge The operations and policies of this clinic are poor at best. Dr. Lo however is really good. Ive listed her as my Primary Care Physician since 2013. When she left her previous practice in 2015 (+/-) I followed Dr. Lo to this provider clinic. None of this history matters to those running this program.
Today I was told that I was now considered a "new patient", that Dr. Lo was not accepting any "new patients" and I would therefore be scheduled to see their new PA. It was explained to me that I had not seen Dr Lo since 2016, therefore I had lost my "current patient" status. It was never explained to me prior that in order to maintain active status I would need to see her at least once a year.
The reason I have not seen Dr Lo is because Ive been healthy enough over the years to not need her care for any significant or chronic health conditions. My only needs for a doctor have been relatively minor emergent conditions that warranted immedite care. When Ive called for an appointment (at least 6 times over the last 3 years) Ive been told every time that it would be 7 - 10 days before they could take me. Which, in the case of one-off illnesses, minor sports or work injuries etc does me no good. So I would go to the local Adventist system prompt care and be seen within an hour or two.
So... in order to maintain ones "current patient" status you need to see their doctor at least a couple times a year, but they will make it next to impossible to get you an appointment within a time frame that will actually benefit the condition you need to see a doctor for. If you are chronically unhealthy and need to been seen regularly, your good. If you are really healthy and rarely need to see a doctor, they may toss you at their first opportunity.
It appears they are trying to build the patient load of thier new Assistant or PA or whatever he his. If youre cool with something less than a real Doctor, go for it. Otherwise, good luck seeing a real Dr. through this provider.

T C My primary NP is Deborah G., so this is not my first time receiving treatment at this location. I was experiencing vertigo with an elevated blood pressure. I went to urgent care and the ER without finding out the problem. On Monday, May 23, 2022 I went to Me Wuk in Tuolumne. I saw NP Deborah, she checked my ears, somfething they did not do at the ER visit. She recommended high blood pressure medication, and having other area checked out. Last was my prescription for my ear infection. As of Tuesday still charting my chart. I didnt get my prescription called in until Wednesday, 2 days later for an ear infection. I was not pleased with how long this took.

kathy spires I have been a patient at both the Tuol.and Greenley clinic. They both are very good. The biggest issue is that the two wonderful, patient friendly and efficient doctors have left. It is sad that the turnover is so quick.
