Sandra Graciano I am here @ San Ysidro Chula Vista Office for a Doctors Appointment and waiting to Check In and Patricia and Debbie not sure if thats there name there are sitting at 12:59pm on this date 05 22 24 are very Rude and Unprofessional have an Bad Attitude they should have more Class in there profession. The man with Goldilocks is ok. The minute I came in had an attitude from Patricia then I waiting for Debbie and all Rude she said wait for a minute.. Hopefully they get better Staff and more Professional.

Marcela Fonseca If you are pregnant & high risk avoid Dr.Short and this clinic at all costs. There are other employees who are great people but my experience outweighs the whole clinic for the neglect they showed me. I gave birth April 10th and Dr. short canceled my postpartum visit twice. Now the clinic can’t see me because I’m past 8 week post partum so I guess I’ll never receive clearance from a doctor. On top of that I was forced to see Dr.short throughout my pregnancy even after I mentioned he made me feel uncomfortable. He made I necessary comments about my body as a women. When I expressed this over the phone the receptionist said tell your “health case worker” I was ignored. Then at. My appt I requested to make a change in person and the nurse said “well I see him, & he’s never made me uncomfortable”. completely invalidated my feelings. I’m just very upset that certain staff and Dr.short have treated me like another number and not an actual person.

M S This is the best Urgen Care in San Diego and Chula Vista. The Service is very good, the doctors are Awesome, they really care about the patients health. I have came a lot of times and they always have took care of my Health very good. Dr. Nicholas Whtley is amazing, Dr. Maggy and all the personal is very friendly.

Aris Lukins They get 1 star because the only time you can actually get service from them is in office. It’s been well over 2 months and I haven’t been contacted by them for a surgery like they said. I call everyday and am told to leave a voicemail but have yet to receive a call back. If it’s a quick visit they’re kind in office. But if your needs extend past 1 office visit, skip past this place.

Ashley Hernandez The Service here in the Southbay OBGYN 5th Fl department sucks! Only 1 lady here seems like she loves what she does and the others are so miserable and unhappy and it shows!

Y Cas Terrible service from the office manager. She is absolutely rude and pretty much tells you in her words that you can file a complaint against her and they won’t do anything to her. It’s evident she doesn’t care about the health and well being of the patients. Filed a claim and rather than be apologetic they tried to justify everything. Do not recommend. Had to request another on to discuss results because I’ve not been able to schedule an appointment for several weeks now. They don’t answer call and when they do they hand up. You go to the office and the treatment is terrible.

Rockwell Sanders On 5/26/24 my husband woke up in excruciating pain in his ankle. It was so bad he couldnt put any weight on it at all. We got to ER @ noon and we were out by 2:pm. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr Mishky and the entire staff. Dr Mishky diagnosed my husband with acute gout, called in a prescription to our pharmacy and we were done. Excellent experience. Thank you.

craig wester Went there because my wife crashed on her bike. They were very friendly from check-in to check out. Professional and quick to get us in and out. From the nurses to the x-ray techs and the doctor did a great job explaining everything and getting us on our way. We cant recommend them enough. Thank you.

miyaka1123 At the Emergency Room, Chris at the front desk and Mark who gave me a warm blanket when I was super cold when I was in pain with my kidney stones. You both are the best! I hope more workers will be so kind. Thank you so much for your help. Even the nurse didnt give me a blanket when I ask for it.

Charli Carmichael I waited a month and a half for my appointment after waiting another 2 weeks for them to get my referral. My apt was on Halloween so I had tons of prep to do at work for a huge party and had to be to work at 9am. When we finally scheduled both procedures at 7:00 I was overjoyed but the scheduler was completely aware and worked around my availability When I got there at 6:48am and was there prepped with their special fasting/ drinking 32oz water instructions, I was informed that someone moved my hour long appointment to 8:30am and I had no choice but to cancel it once I arrived since I had to be to work. I literally have 4 doctors appointments in November waiting on results from this appointment. The lady at the counter was not helpful or accommodating simply stating "I cant tell you why the appointment was moved." She didnt care. I know it was moved because the scheduler specifically choose Halloween against my preference because it had a 7am appt available which would allow me time for both procedures and to get to work by 9. I have it in my calendar. Never got any confirmations and this place is impossible to get ahold of someone who knows how to even schedule an appointment. What a waste of time...Choose a different place. Had I looked at the reviews at the beginning I might not be in this situation. Its sad that this healthcare place makes you choose between making a living and taking care of your health.

Chelsea Rushed here after work to get here before 5pm just for them to tell me they stop accepting patients at 3:30pm and that the technician had already left. Constantly have to jump through hoops to get medical care in this country.

Dee the Nurse The wait time for an X-ray was 4 hours. Completely unacceptable. They only have one technician. I arrived at 7:25 to beat the crowd. They do not take appointments for X-rays and even the people who had appointments are experiencing long wait times. I wish there was another place in the south bay to get an X-ray. Poor management

Corinne Hollings I needed an xray. On arrival I was told there was only one tech so it could take 1.5 hr. After that time I went up to ask how much longer. I was then told there were still 6 people ahead of me. Clearly you think your companys time is more important than mine. Wrong! Its time you should take appointments rather than waste my time.

Leisha Reed The customer service and staff here is atrocious. I had an appointment scheduled for 5 months. I received a call 24 hours before saying they are having staffing issues and need to reschedule. I wait on hold a for 20 minutes, the representative that answered was immediately rude, condescending and just mean. I started the call not upset but after talking to her and being told if I don’t like being scheduled again 5 months out I can go else where. To work in a field where patients may receive some of the worst news of their lives and have zero compassion is unacceptable. I know it’s just a job to them but we go to hospitals and doctors for help; not feel like we’re the burden. I requested to speak with a manger and she told me I was just mad because I had to reschedule. And then cut me off and transferred me to a voicemail. This is just discouraging and disheartening.

Marcos C Our experience here may differ based on what youre looking for. We do not recommend this doctor/office as a primary care physician. The receptionists do not pick-up the phone, when you leave a voicemail message (and they say theyll call back within 30 minutes), they never call you back. We had to drive to the office to speak to them in person to get what we needed. While in the office and we verbally said we had to drive there because they dont pick up the phone, other patients waiting there nodded there head in agreement and told us it is always a pain to get in touch with them and for them to follow up. The doctor himself seems to be an acceptable doctor, not horrible, not great. This doctor/offices specialty seems to be immigration medical exams.

J Rico Doctor Herida and Carolina were super fast with my immigration documents. The place looks really nice and clean. The staff is amazing I got all my documents ready in less than 5 days. Thank you Carolina and Doctor Heredia for your services recommended 100%!!!

Collins Mensah If you are looking to get immigration physical performed, PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE, stay away from this doctor. If I could give zero star, I would so here goes 1 star. Please stay away, save money and time and go to another Doctor. DR. Jose Ramiro Lopez, is a great alternative. I was happy that they have a same day walk in, however, that is an absolute waste of time since I have to start the process all over again with another doctor. Dr. Heredia and his office refused to issue a prescription for required immigration vaccinations needed to get them free at a government facility. They rather recommended that I go to a pharmacy and pay over $600 in vaccinations that are given free at a government facility with a prescription from a doctor. I am very bitter, at least they refunded my $200 because I never got to talk to the doctor. Also, the office left out some vital lab work required and I have to go pay another money for another lab work. Such unprofessional behavior of a licensed doctor who is supposed to be specialized in immigration physical. Please stay away, save money and time and go to another Doctor. DR. Jose Ramiro Lopez, is a great alternative.

Pinar Kale Very disorganized. I called them early morning for a medical exam and was told to walk in anytime before lunch time which is 12pm . I got there at 11 am and was told that the nurse is on her break and doctor changed her lunch time today. Soo I was told to come back at 1 pm . I left and googled and found another doctor(Jose Maria Partida MD) within 5 minutes and they were amazing and did the job in 5 minutes...

Jocelyne Mendias I never really write bad reviews or any reviews really, but I just wanted to write about this place so that I can feel calmer in my own head about it. This place was awful, but thats not to say all staff were awful. I came into this place during a rough patch in my life and maybe I was meant to come here. For whatever reason I got brought here, I hope I made a change in the way they ran things. I had evidence that this place was lying to their patients about dates/times and probably other things I could not comprehend at the time. I hope the good staff stayed to make it better and to the staff that was rude to me and other patients...I hope you quit and left...and if youre reading this review and still decide to give this place a chance...keep an eye out!

Jess Reyes The staff is highly unprofessional. They like to chit chat about all kinds of inappropriate and personal things across the room to one another, loudly and obnoxiously right infront of patients who are looking for quiet and solace. Its horrible. The RN I got mustve been 20 years old... she was so young I didnt feel I was in good hands.

Maria Hamedi This place showed my husband so much empathy and compassion. The whole staff was so helpful and friendly. They got my husband the help he needed right away and they all took the time to hear him out and make him feel like a human and not just a number. They offered us tissues when we cried and some water while we calmed down. Great and compassionate staff.

Ryan Muxlow These negative reviews are honestly so confusing to me. I agree with everyone saying respect is huge at this facility and with their staff. If you cooperate they go the extra mile. If you’re patient, you’ll see results. Hang in there! I was here for approximately 3 weeks total a couple years ago when I went through major depression and had an attempt. They made me feel safe and accommodated, they were very supportive, they took into account my preferences on how my treatment would look. They even accomadated preferred diet. I did witness some questionable things but no blame on the staff. It was the other patients. The doctor I had there really took into account what I was going through and listened to me when I said I preferred non habit forming meds. This facility puts an emphasis on cooperation and getting you to a more stable state than you were in when you arrived. If I had a choice to go there I probably wouldn’t just cause I know there are WAY better facilities out there in this city. I do have to mention that this place has a religious bias. Some of the nursing staff can be bigoted af. Probably not a comfortable place for lgbt (which i am but it worked out anyway). Not saying they were homophobic) they may bring their faiths into care they provide, and that may be triggering for people with religious trauma 100%. Other than that, I felt safe, seen and heard here. I got the urgent help I needed and I’m grateful.

Jennifer Mendez I brought my brother here about a month ago and I have to say one of the most horrific places to bring a family/friend. This place is like those old scary movies you watch that are haunted the place is in terrible condition and I mean terrible The place smells so bad and they don’t have much to give to the patient in here I get it it’s not easy dealing with someone with mental health because we are dealing with it but they are people and they need to feel supportive You’re definitely not getting it here. The staff as well when my brother had an episode they all laughed and that made me sick that’s my brother you guys are making fun of you guys should be ashamed of yourselves! I had already made a complaint with nursing department and who manages the place I’m also writing here because I don’t want people to bring their family/friends to a place they are going to treat your loved ones as they are some kind of disturbance and annoyance! We need to do better people! That’s why they are so many people ending there live because they aren’t being helped or heard it’s not easy but please don’t give up and through them to a place they going to be treated horribly.

Gabrielle Felix Please do yourself a favor and do not see Dr. Polak. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:30pm, but I got a call from the office saying they would be able to take me in earlier. I arrived there at 12:15pm, I was not seen until 2:30pm, then I had to wait for a referral and prescription… I did not leave the office until 3:30pm. So unless you have a few hours blocked off in your day, don’t expect this to be a quick visit. Beware of what her diagnosis is as well. I went in for an ear infection and came out diagnosed with an ear infection, thrush??, and a mass on my breast.?? I was terrified and do not wish that anxiety on anyone. I’ve have obviously changed doctors.

Rzecore Pua This clinic is the WORST!!!! All of the people working there are doing nothing, from the people working on the front desk and the doctors. I know the wait time of your scheduled appointment takes forever but not only that, i’ve been calling them since last week for one of my mom’s diabetes medicine. And weekend have past, 1 week have past, nothing! I called my mom’s insurance to check the status of the delay and insurance was really nice to do a 3 way call of me, insurance and the clinic to make sure the pre-authorization form for the medicine will be signed by the doctor but until now nothing. FYI, i was rushing the clinic because my parents are going out of the country for about 3 months. And tomorrow they will be leaving San Diego so i guess my mom will not bring any diabetes medicine with her on her vacation. People here are no brainer to distinguish the urgent matters and not. I hope they see this but im sure nothing’s gonna change... I’ve been reading some reviews and all same comments, and until now they are still slow… slow on paperworks and slow on seeing their patients.

Brandi hill Brought my 72 year old mom here twice and both times we were here for 4 plus hours... both times with appointments... zero sense of urgency... zero actual care for the patient... I mean 4 hours is how long you wait at the emergency room... it shouldnt be how long you wait with an appointment. If you cant meet with patients in a reasonable amount of time you should probably book less appointments at those times. On top of that the Dr pulled her mask down several times while talking to my super high risk mother... if anyone should know better I would think it would be her Dr. Just insane. If you can go somewhere else I would recommend it.

Yasser Abdel-Aziz If you value your time, dont go there. If you take an appointment at 3, and go half an hour early to be sure, you will be seen by 8 at best! Thats what happened to me. When calling them in the phone. They will keep you waiting for very very long. Dr. Polka is nice. But there are so many other doctors out there who are nice and wont make you wait for 5 hours after your set appointment time. Its simply ridiculous. This didnt just happen once. But every single time. I did speak to her about it, she simply told me next time schedule your appointment with one of her junior doctors. So I decided to look for a new doctor all together. By giving them 1 star, Im doing them a service. Maybe that will reduce the number of patients and they wont have to wait for so long!

Stephen Rieder Had an 11AM appointment with Dr. Polak, I arrived and signed in at precisely 10:25AM and filled out the new patient paperwork. A full hour later at 11:35 AM I was taken to the examination room and had my vitals ( weight, BP and 02 etc.) checked. Then I waited and waited and waited some more. The office did not seem overly busy to begin with and after a full 2 and half hour wait in that exam room they had actually run out all of the time I had to get through the appointment and go and get my prescriptions refilled. When I realized I had to leave without receiving ANY care whatsoever I was pretty depressed as I am having a physical ailment that I need a doctor to help me with. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with an appointment at a physicians office ( I have had slammed ER and Urgent Care visits that took less time)! My advice is to avoid this practice as they apparently either overbook appointments habitually or perhaps maybe even just dont care at all about their patients.

Kristopher Vega I had an appointment today and I got told to leave because I did not have a face mask. If it is dire, for us to aquire face masks, wouldnt your office or any department have face masks in case of a situation like mine? I feel very discriminated for the fact that I didnt have a face mask. I would understand if I didnt want to wear one but I didnt have any and I asked around the entire building and not one person was able to provide me with one. I will never let my friends or family come here. Wasted a day out of my job.

estrellapacifico dancerforever I went to the emergency room yesterday blood pressure 202 not sure of bottom number, back and neck pain also anxiety was and is really high?. The Dr on staff was really rude! He told me and at the end of my visit that I had come there for nothing, (was It because I am African American)? He said I didn’t look like a person who come to the emergency room a lot! And he was thinking that I looked like I shouldn’t be there! The nurse was in the room with theDr. and I! What did that have to do with me being there with my blood pressure numbers at 202/ not sure of the bottom number! I ask him what should my numbers be to go to hospital, he said 235(top numbers) he did give me a bottom number! Online it said to call ambulance if numbers or 180/120! Wow!!!! So to me that was an indirect way of saying to be almost dead before going! They ran test on my heart my heart was fine. So because my heart looked fine, I wasn’t treated for any of my issues no pain or anxiety meds. When I left my BP had fallen to 77/101 he said I was fine. Wow so I woke this morning (thanks to God) with really bad back pain, anxiety still bad and blood pressure still high and a very high bill coming. Wow! Really! To bad I can’t just change the color of my skin to get proper care and without judgement before even getting to the counter! To get the care that I am paying for! I’m in bad pain, anxiety and high blood pressure and upset about not getting the treated and respect from that morning shift Dr. he will still get paid for not giving proper care because of him judging me before I even got to the counter! WOW! I respect people regardless of the color of there skin or walk of life! I thought doctors had too do the same they took an oath to care for people probably without judgement!? WOW!!!!!!!!

justin rivera As a parent I want to be with my spouse for support during her doctor exams. OBGYN Dr. Levine’s office discriminates against fathers by not allowing them to come inside during the visit even though we are either fully vaccinated or taking precautions against Covid (temp check, face mask, etc). Fathers/partners should be allowed into doctor visitation if the mother is also ok with it. Fathers have rights also and this office is discriminating against us.

Shae (A mile in my shoes) I waited in the er for 4 hours to get xrays. The wait time is long and horrible. Updated 10 july 2022 I have since went to them for another visit. I thought I had covid and at the time there wasnt an easy way to get tested. It took me 2hrs for a covid test with symptoms to just be seen. Sharp is undermanned as most places. It is really bad when you have to choose between to horrible companies of scripps or sharp.

Janina Diez Complaining about discharge instructions in every Sharp hospitals i have been. I can download better and more precise instructions of how to take care of whatever is done. And it is basically what sharp does everytime only that they chose the worst. They do not specify and I am really lost on how to take care of the insicion made.
