Barry M I have to admit that they did treat my mother OK when she stayed there in 2021, however, the staff was always arguing with each other and the turnover rate was unbelievable! Just as soon as you got to know a nurse, they were gone. During my mothers 2 month stay there, they had not 1, but two management changes and almost a complete staff turnover. The big trouble started after I checked my mother out and put her in a home health care facility under hospice care. I went in to pay off my mothers final balance and requested that they check again with their home office of the final balance. They called me a day later and told me the final balance, which I went in and paid off for my mother. My mother passed away a few months later and then after about 8 months, I get a bill saying my mother owed more money. I went in and showed my mothers death certificate and told them I was not responsible because the receipt I received said paid in full, and we are not liable for my mothers s debt. My mother only had a small pension to pay her bills and my brothers and I helped her pay for her medical needs, but we are not responsible for these so called new charges. I talked to an ombudsman, who also said we were not responsible for these new charges since my mother had passed, had no money, and that our receipt said paid in full. Its 3 years later and after explaining this situation to at least 2 new finance people, I thought we had it finally resolved, but today I get a phone message from yet another new finance person saying I need to take care of my mothers bill.
Unbelievable, Unprofessional, and unorganized!
Oh, and when I try to call back the finance persons voicemail is always full and no one answers!

Shawna Reyes Windsor Country Drive Care Facility in Fremont is a dump AND the employees suck, have no experience, no empathy, no compassion, no people skills. Actually there might be 5 employees there that actually give a damn & try their best but the other 50 employees are complete trash.
Its the only place kaiser will cover for my mom to stay in Fremont, otherwise I would never let her go here again.

Navpreet Singh Horribly managed facilities… my mother has been here for a week. Her call button was not working for 4 days straight. Most of people don’t really care. If you ask for anything you will be lucky if it’s don’t in hours after multiple follow up. They just do the bare minimum that they’re supposed to. The facility is very rundown and bare bones, Very poor,communication and service. Don’t even get me started on the food. Every nurse has 26 patients to take care of in one shift so you can only imagine what kind of chaos that creates. They do neglect their patients.
I would not recommend this facility to anybody!

V P Compared to the other nursing homes we visited close to the hospital, this one looked best well kept. First day or two were an adjustment but staff were responsive to our concerns, Even the lady in the kitchen. Nothing bad to say. We came and went home.. thank God for people who take care of the sick

Faroza Nabizada My grandmother was on hospice and we had no idea where to even begin to ensure she is as comfortable as possible. Our close family friend had shared their experience with Windsor country drive care center and that really sold us on bringing her here. From the very beginning, the staff were detail oriented and were very caring and empathetic. They had all shown the same level of care and support we would show our grandmother. At Windsor Country Drive Care Center, they make you feel like family and cared for even through the toughest times. My family and I can’t thank them enough for all that they have done for us!
