Roy Robinson Doctor Sepah has been amazing. I had all but given up on the chance to feel better. All other doctors had taken an apathetic approach to my treatment. Not doctor Sepah, she genuinely cares. Her comprehensive approach to treatment has left me like a new person, one who can genuinely appreciate and enjoy life. I highly recommend her and will continue to do so!

Qaumaniq Suuqiina Dr Torie Sepah is amazing and has improved my life in so many ways. She is so Knowledgeable on the brain and how it works with other systems of the body and knew how to improve my depression, my mood, my energy and quality of life. She takes the time to deeply connect with her patients. I feel honored, heard and understood. Her staff is very competent and also kind and compassionate. I wish there were more doctors that cared as deeply for her patients as she does and took the time for each individual that she does. She is not your average doctor, medicine is her calling and her passion for what she does proves that.

Cathy Keegan I came in to see Dr. Sepah for depression. I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Within the first 10 minutes she made me feel calm like I was visiting with a good friend. She is a wonderful person and speaks to you like a friend. She spends a lot of time with you. I take a lot of prescribed drugs. I have epilepsy and she did a genetic blood test and was able to see all drugs I’ve taken and how they affect me! It was amazing! She took me off some med because they weren’t good for me and put me on drugs that will help me! She is a miracle worker!I make her sound like God but she is so good and comforting. I feel SO much better, it’s amazing! The time spent with Dr Sepah is wonderful ! I look forward to my appointment every time I go! Her staff is amazing and talks to you like a friend. They show their personalities. Everyone makes you feel comfortable. I so highly recommend her. She’s the very Best!! I love the way she visits with you!! See her! You’ll never look back! She is just a tiny thing but her brain is huge, full of information ! Ideas and medical knowledge abounds. Really works with you. Never ever against you. I’m feeling so much better! It’s amazing!!!

Danny Delgadillo I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Ron Shatzmiller, and it was an excellent experience. He took the time to thoroughly understand my medical history and concerns. His attentive approach and clear communication have given me confidence in our plan to tackle my migraines together. The Medical Assistant Gabriela also stands out for her exceptional service! She is prompt in responses, ensures that I am well in-formed, and always maintains a great attitude. Her dedication enhances the overall patient experience.

Val Wright Shriners Children’s is incredible. One daughter broke her toe A few months ago. Another daughter broke her finger recently. The simplicity of scheduling, the brilliant doctors, the friendly expert cast makers, the receptionists, the organizer of the waiting room, the security guards…I’ve never been to a medical facility where it’s simply a joy to go to where everyone you meet seems to genuinely care about you and your child.
5 /5
Michael Davenport I had webbed fingers when I was a child. My first 2 hand surgeries were a nightmare. The skin graphs didnt take and the doctor left my cast on longer than it should have been on. I remember it like yesterday after my first surgery at Shriners and "healed" my parents said ok Michael are you ready to see your new hand.. cast came off and my hand looked like raw hamburger. Another surgery and the same thing... "Dr. Johnson" whom did both surgeries wanted to cut off my two fingers, take the bone out and sew the two in closer together. My parents said no and he turned and said I wasnt asking you I was asking Michael! I was just a young child. I went through school getting made fun of and not having friends bc I had a weird hand. I then went to Loma Linda to have 2 more surgeries to correct it so I could use my hand. Childhood was rough bc of the neglect choices of Dr. Johnson. It did a lot of things to me mentally but I guess it is what it is. I am writing this to help free these terrible memories that seem like yesterday. I am also writing this to warn parents to really do their research on the doctor doing the procedure so your child doesnt go through anything remotely close to what I went through bc kids are mean and it can really hurt a child emotionally. Whenever I see the Shriners commercials, of pure happiness, it makes me want to puke. I had no pure happiness I had pure hell, the whole experience could have been prevented but negligence got in the way of that.

Gongqin Shen Shriners is absolutely the worst childrens hospital that I have visited. Its impossible to get a doctors appointment after 2PM which means kids need to skip hours of school to see a doctor. I understand that doctors want to spend more time with their loved ones, but working till 5PM is reasonable IMHO. One of Shriners core values is "Compassion" and I found it ironic that the team doesnt give a damn about kids and parents school and work schedules conflicts at all. Not only doctors, Shrinerss staff seem to have a culture of not working after 3PM. I was told 5 months ago after my sons first appointment that the authorization team would schedule for my sons hand ultrasound scan for us. However, I never heard from them about the schedule and had to take things into my own hands. I can never find the authorization personnel after 3PM and the calls always went to voicemail. I had to make many calls until I could finally speak to him over the phone and get the issue resolved. Overall, I find the actual attitude and work ethics completely different from the core values Shriners boasted on its website. What a shame.

Yesenia Salinas Took my son for his surgery and the surgical team did an amazing job including the prep nurses. From reading a story to my son to giving him a bear buddy that would keep him company throughout his process and he was able to bring it home. They were very caring. They provided a good amount of supplies to help clean & heal my son’s wounded area properly. Follow up doctors provide good service. I will definitely recommend.

Kevin L. I had an incredibly positive experience at City of Hope Cancer Research Hospital in South Pasadena during my moms battle with breast cancer at the age of 75. The staff at this specific facility, especially Dr. Schultz-Costello and Dr. Yeon, demonstrated exceptional thoroughness in reviewing the results, ensuring that every detail was explained comprehensively. City of Hope provided a language virtual interpreting service, enabling detailed explanations in Korean for my mom, who did not speak English. Their compassion towards my mom and our family was evident, taking the necessary time without rushing or making us feel hurried. The overall experience was not only professional but also surprisingly pleasant. We are grateful for the care and attention we received. Communication, both directly by doctors and through assistants, nurses, and receptionists, was exceptional. I highly commend them and recommend City of Hope South Pasadena, especially for those who may have had negative experiences elsewhere or felt ignored by doctors. City of Hope isnt just focused on curing cancer; it also emphasizes empathy and sympathy towards both patients and their families, navigating this challenging time together as a team. They demonstrated flexibility in scheduling chemotherapy and radiation for my mom. During her mastectomy, our surgeon collaborated with a plastic surgeon to achieve the best possible result. This collaborative approach proved critical, as my aunt recently underwent mastectomy in a poorly rated Los Angeles hospital. Comparatively, my moms surgery result was phenomenal, with significantly fewer scarring and cosmetic issues. Kudos to City of Hope South Pasadena.

Martha Campoy Wonderful place. Had a horrible experience elsewhere. But here the doctors, nurses and staff treat you like a human being not just a case. Pavithra K Balasubramanian I went in there for my shoulder and neck pain. Awful staffs. Doesn’t matter how early you show up for your appointment, you will be called after minimum 30 to 40 mins after your appointment time. Once I had to wait 1:15 hrs and then talked about in reception. After that they took me to a room and closed my door and made me wait 30 mins in the room. If you want to somewhere after the appointment, forget it. You should spend half day for this hospital. I’m writing this review on my third visit and this delay is consistent.

Lorena Harlan Dr. Cepkinian has been my orthopedic surgeon for several years now. He is kind and gentle. He has supported me through a total knee replacement and countless injections. I owe a great deal to this surgeon who turned my bowed leg back to its normal composition. I simply would not go to anyone else and I highly recommend him if you’re in need of orthopedic hip or knee surgery.

Chiemi Kaneko My wait time at this office was fine. The receptionists are not kind nor rude so they are ok. Yes, they took my picture, I thought it was very strange and felt awkward. Dr. Yung treated me well, she is probably a nice doctor but my issue was the book. She handed a book "Age Healthier Live Happier" and told me to read it so I did. The author wrote about bioidentical hormones, specifically Hormone Pellet Therapy. It sounded nice, in fact it sounded too nice so I did some research then found out hormone pellets are not FDA approved. So Im a bit confused by Dr. Young. Is she trying to suggest non-FDA approved hormone therapy to me? Why?? I suppose to have a Teledoc appointment with Dr. Yung to go over my test results and such, I took a work from home option today because of this appointment. I waited 20 minutes but no one called me or emailed me, so I emailed her assistant then she told me "Unfortunately, Dr. Yung cant see you today". Well, I read the book, prepared my questions, waited 20 minutes then they postponed my appointment. I have a full time job, I cant do this again. She might be a good doctor, might work well with other patients but me. at this point, I feel a bit uncomfortable going back to her office, so I decided to look for a new doctor.

JUDY KLINE Dr. Yung and her team are outstanding! The team does a great job of welcoming patients, making them comfortable, showing a sense of humor, and being informative. Dr. Yung is a very caring, thorough, resourceful, and bright physician. She keeps her knowledge very current. She spends quality time with her patients; and has never rushed me. She carefully reviews her patients files and listens to her patients. I really cant say enough great things about Dr. Yung and her team. I appreciate them very much. I know Im in the best hands and receiving the best advice and care.

Lin Chen I have been a patient of Dr. Yung for over 10 years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly patient, professional, and always takes the time to listen to my concerns. Throughout my time with her, she has consistently provided excellent care and has made me feel comfortable and well-informed at every visit. Her dedication and expertise are truly appreciated, and I feel fortunate to have her as my OBG doctor.

Tina Aznavour Dr. Yung is extremely thorough & patient. She takes her time in explaining the process of a procedure, her findings/assessment, and offers solutions/options. She also goes above & beyond to ensure that her patient is taking care of non-gynecological necessary tests that they should do for their overall health.

Lorna C. Domingo As a patient of Dr. Yung, I am a beneficiary of her diligence, and for that I am truly grateful. Because of Dr. Yungs attention to detail, diligence and concern for my health, she insisted that I follow up on my annual mammogram, which was unfortunately delayed due to the pandemic. The mammogram procedure revealed a suspicious finding, and further tests revealed cancer. Fortunately, the disease was at its early stage, and was treated successfully. If it were not for Dr. Yungs persistent vigilance, and most importantly, her concern and compassion about my well-being, my health would be under different circumstances. I consider myself very lucky, and grateful to be in Dr. Yungs capable care.

Ive never been disappointed coming here. Also, the place is very clean, well lit, waiting room is available, restrooms are also very clean. Cafeteria, ATM and a praying chaple are available inside the main hospital. Patient parking is available inside the hospital gated area but you do have to pay. Katie Cardona A special thank you as I am very much pleased with the care I received here at Adventist Hospital. A great team of Doctors who worked in respecting my wishes and were open to practical alternatives if at all needed for my procedure. Thankfully the surgery was a success and a good part of it was due to the well prepared, skilled doctors, Dr. Wu and Dr. Gold. I appreciated doctor Gold as she was so kind, assuring me that I would be in good hands and made me feel at ease as she held my hand minutes before the anesthesia would take effect. The anesthesiologist and all of the nurses I met were very helpful and supportive, making the process run smoothly as well. I am currently in the process of recovering. This Hospital comes highly recommended in my book.

Brizeida Rodriguez ZERO!! Worst doctor ever. Please beware. My sister just had her first appt with Dr. Barba and 5 min later she comes out in tears, dizzy and heart rate over 160 bpm. My sister suffers from auto-immune disorder that even the ER visit 3 days ago had recorded and this doc would not even let her lie down and explain her symptoms as she started to feel bad. My sister came prepared with her typed list of symptoms and evaluations from her specialists, her neurologist reports of brain lesions, and severe migraines and this "doctor" would not even read them, questioning the validity of them. BUT, she said what my sister needed was a therapist! She was rude, aggressive and completely unprofessional. Ive never even heard of a medical professional behaving this way. It was just an unbelievably traumatic experience. I dont wish this on anyone.

Niloufar A The staff here is absolutely the worst! Their rude attitude, persistent errors, and complete lack of attention are beyond frustrating. Ive found myself compelled to make a minimum of five calls per referral and prescription just to ensure theyre handling their responsibilities! It took them three months to deliver the correct referrals. And to top it all off, they sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy! These errors have cost me great deal of time. Definitely changing my primary doctor!

Luisa Fanzani Dr. Jasper has been my doctor for quite a few years. I go there every summer for my physical exam. This year I was very disappointed and definitely won’t come back. Dr jasper barely took the time to talk to me. She did not listen to my lungs or do the breast exam like she used to. Basically she didn’t visit me at all which was disappointing. She and her staff made me feel like they couldn’t care less about me. On top of that I had a problem with a toe nail. I was given a container to provide a sample of the nail for testing, which I did. After more than 2 weeks no one followed up with me. At that point I called the office and the receptionist didn’t know anything about it. She said she was gonna ask and call me back. As I’m sure you can already imagine , she never did. This place is not what it used to be anymore. I highly recommend you look somewhere else because they don ‘t care about you here. Why would you give money to someone like that?
1 /5
Joanne Jordan Dr. Jasper and her staff are very professional. They schedule the patients in a manner where you are seen within 10-15 minutes of walking in the door. They return phone calls and are responsive to requests for prescriptions via mail order. I have always had a positive experience with this office.
5 /5
Katina Childs Patty Gallegos the finance bookkeeper from Dr. Jasper’s office rudely called me at home and accused me of owing money for two visits. One pymt. on December 2022 and one in February 2023. I called my FSA and they confirmed that I already paid for both doctor visits and over the amount due. My FSA also said that the dates Patty had given were also incorrect. Patty was relentless and continued to harass me for the payment despite the FSA representatives confirmation of payment. This is the first time I questioned the validity in her saying that I owed money. I was extremely frustrated with Patty because she never ever questioned whether her books were wrong even after I told her I paid. She asked if the FSA could send proof, they said they would fax it. I told Patty you owe me an apology, she told me you know I always help you, I helped you on my vacation day. Then she brought up a year ago that my son was sick and she helped me. I was furious! When she brought up my son it was irrelevant and had nothing to do with being charged twice for two visits. I told her you helped me because this is your job! Your responsibility! I had an appointment scheduled for the following week for a review of blood work. I was sent a letter in the mail that Dr. Jasper was terminating me as of July 18th as her patient and that she would treat me for 30 days until I found a new doctor. The doctor then cancelled my already booked office appointment on August 4th to go over blood work. Instead she sent my test results by email which I couldn’t read. I called to ask if should would explain the results. She emailed me I was deficient in Vitamin D amongst other things. Normally Irina would send a prescription for vitamin D to my pharmacy this time she medically neglected my needs by not sending me a prescription for the vitamin D. I called to see if the doctor would speak to me and the front desk receptionist were rude and nasty and told me that she would call me back. I waited all day and right before their office closed, I called and asked when would the doctor call. They said Dr. Jasper went home for the day. She had no intentions of calling me back. Dr. Jasper is biased towards Patty and never was neutral in all of this. I still have not heard from Irina. She never asked me what happen, she just took what Patty said and terminated me as a patient. Of course this was soon after I questioned why I was being double charged. Patty is unqualified to keep records, the entire staff is unprofessional, rude and extremely disrespectful. I know with our a shadow of a doubt that Patty orchestrated all of this. The front receptionist also played a role in running defense and rudeness to make sure they followed suit in the doctors orders which was to be very short with me. This has been extremely stressful and disappointing to know that after all these years she would treat me like she didn’t even know me all because I questioned Patty. Dr. Jasper your oath is something that I thought you stood by. The more I read even the reviews, the disciplinary actions issues, I’m not alone in how I feel. This entire situation made me wonder how many other times I was over charged. After being neglected medically I have endured more stress from this situation. I was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis which can also occur because of vitamin D deficiency. I requested my medical records and was given about 300 plus pages instead of a CD. I was given dirty looks when I went to pick up my files by the staff. Things happen for a reason and I’m so glad that you all terminated our dr./patient relationship. This has indeed been a blessing in disguise. Again, Patty I know you have orchestrated everything that has happened here to cover up your mistakes, but I see you for what you are. You are not qualified to keep financial records of any sort, you are rude, discombobulated and disrespectful. The more information I have gathered about this entire group emphasizes how important it is for me and my family to get away from you all asap.

I’m always apprehensive about going to the hospital that I have never been to before and not knowing what to expect. They are very comforting, competent and capable. They actually listen to their patients. They actually communicate. They don’t just give you five minutes and walk out the door I’m disabled and the treatment that disabled people get in this country can sometimes be dehumanizing. They make u register complete entire steps. Be aware its long process. call your name to go in then have u go back to lobby wait again waste of time. The process stupid. First time people come early atleast help them first show more respect and support. First come and first serve. This how you loose patients. They dont communicate or tell you the time when your being seen worse thing have you keep waiting. Management probably screw up by looking at it. big hospital so get really busy. I get that your busy or maybe shortage of doctors or worker.

Barbara Banez I would have loved to give the highest marks to this hospital and they do deserve it for the first part of my mother’s stay (still here). However, her second stay in the Critical Care Unit seem not to ideal combo her stay at the West Tower. In particular today (6/18/2024) her day nurse, Tamara made it seem that each CCU Room should not be equipped with the Armchair that turns into a bed. She claims they provide that only for patients who have family staying overnight. If so, then why were there two armchairs provided in the room of a Caucasian person also in ICU. Photo is the nurse who doesn’t have a bedside manner!

Leonardo Santos Huntington Hospital provides poor care based on my experience. During one visit, I saw eight patients leave because staff were inattentive and lacked communication. The staff often sit around socializing instead of focusing on patient care. This hospital needs a major overhaul, hiring people who are committed to delivering high-quality care and services. If you’re from a diverse background, it feels like they don’t care. But if you’re white, you seem to get privileged treatment and better services.

JRav 59 Wow, is the office staff rude. Hang ups, transfers to nowhere and not being treated with the slightest bit of compassion. Things being lost, ignored requests or referrals/ completely forgotten. Earliest appointments scheduled 3 months out. What is the point of having a primary care phsyician? We all go to urgent care. Been waiting 6 months to get a referral to a dermatologist.

Evan King The best care possible from excellent physicians. Any negative reviews were by trolls, chronic complainers and unethical physicians. I am a retired healthcare provider and I know how good my care has been at Huntington Health Physicians.

king tom “DJ Google” My daughter had her babies here and we couldnt have been any happier with the facilities, staff and amenities. The Nurses and health care staff were awesome. The facilities were immaculate and well maintaned. And the cafeteria, valet parking and volunteers all made for a great experience.

Jay Worst experience EVER. Lots of nurses/doctors/employees just chatting and having fun. Waited for 3 hours for a basic x ray scan and there wasn’t even a lot of people here.

Debra Bratz A patients comfort is the last thing they will ever care about. You have to beg for a pillow and most of the nurses are too lazY and stupid al they know how ro do is put 3M tape on patients and then tear it off right away to cause you more pain you discomfort. Typical LAME HOSPITAL

Donna Robinson Approximately a year ago I had twins at a different hospital. My son was transferred to the NICU here because the delivering hospital was remodeling their unit. The NICU nurses proceeded to make my life a complete NIGHTMARE. My sons twin had never been a patient at Huntington, yet these nurses had the audacity to shame me for following her pediatricians orders (because they didnt like them). They even talked amongst each other (within earshot) about needing a safety check because we were doing what the pediatrician said to do. Let me remind you that my daughter had never been seen by these nurses & had never been in this hospital. They had no idea what her care entailed. All they accomplished was to make my life even harder than it already was. Now that some time has passed, I can see how truly horrible these people were to us. We are very fortunate that we could afford a house in Pasadena so that my son could receive what was (supposedly) better care than what we had closer to home. Instead we were treated like horrible people who would intentionally put our childs health in jeopardy. If this is what they treated us like, I cant even imagine how they would treat someone who doesnt have unlimited funds & time.
