Carlos Humberto It was a pleasant experience to have been attended to in this place, since I arrived I was approached and accompanied to receive instructions in the corresponding place, the receptionists immediately take the services instructions and advise you with the documents to fill out, clearing up any doubts already requested, they pass it to you for digital data registration and they take turns waiting to receive medical attention. Excellent, they gave me the 3rd dose of the Covid 19 vaccine with all the hygienic measures and protocols for this pandemic, congratulations and thank you for your professionalism and they still gave you a kit of preventive items.

JoMari Marquez Aguilar Just left Calexico office today 9/17 and wish I had gotten the girls names at the front desk but none of them had name tags on. I’ve been going to Dr. Vo’s office for 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience till today. I was basically denied usage of my primary insurance BCBS (that’s active and been the same since) for my appointment because of some discrepancy of a secondary insurance that I used to have. As I explained to the girl who spoke to me like I was dumb and rolled her eyes at me that I’ve never had issues before with them billing my primary only and me just paying my copay. Feeling embarrassed from her loud tone I asked for the manager who was very helpful and understood. Once again wish I had gotten his name. As someone who works in the medical field and with health insurance on the daily my advise to those girls at the front desk is if you don’t like helping people with kindness you shouldn’t be in the medical field and please don’t lie about billing either. Unfortunately, I can’t see my favorite physician Joanna Falcon in Brawley anymore but will continue teledocs with her because she’s amazing and I won’t ever step foot in Calexico facility again. Do better Calexico front desk.

Maria Rizo Terrible service. They made me wait 4 months for a medication that they make in their laboratory. After 5 months they arrive at my door with the 2nd dose when I didnt even receive the first. My nails were damaged for that reason. What a shame and what abuse.

Elisa Sanchez The worse Dr. if you want Primary care doctor that cares about your loved one. This isn’t the doctor you want. If you need him to help you with your loved one he refuses to get involved. Or just simply follow up to see how the patient is doing while hospitalize. In my 25 years in the Medical Field I never had a doctor say “ I can’t help “. As the primary care doctor it’s his job. But to him your just a number unfortunately. Stay away from this doctor because when you really need him to help you find out how your loved one is doing. Especially Right now with the COVID crisis and the hospitals not allowing any visitors this doctor will shut you down. Heartless doctor! But someday Karma will come And I hope it’s soon. A P So UNPROFESSIONAL! My grandma is in hospice so she gets a nurse visit every so often. It’s normal for a nurse to come but this visit was a little different not only did she come but another nurse and Mario Robles came too! This is a 98-year-old woman that we’re talking about we are keeping her in quarantine no one is allowed in (not even family) so, keeping that in mind not only was he RUDE to my mother about being there he decided to hurry up of the nurses (literally shouted at her Hurry up girl!) he left without even saying a thing. You call that a doctor? You call that someone that has principles with their patients and their staff?! I am beyond mortified by his actions specially being a supposed doctor.

Luis Gomez Alert!!!!!! Alert!!!!! I’m not 100% sure who stole my wallet, but the night of 11/23/21 someone working for this hospital did it. Next morning I reported to the administrative staff they didn’t care and get upset when I insisted to look at the hallway cameras , at any moment felt they were really trying to help me and find out who stole my money ,credit cards, passport card, driver’s license, INE card (Mexican Id), american and mexican debit cards. Stay away from this place if it’s possible. I want to be clear that I’m not complaining about the medical services they provided for my wife that’s a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ my bad review is for their honesty, and careless actitud .

Miss Duckie I want to start off by saying Dr. Cesar Elenes Hernandez is a very good doctor. This is about the nurses that take care of you post op and receptionist. The nurses are extremely rough and careless when it comes to wound care. They would pull the gauze and tape with such force that it cut my skin open and gave me a chemical burn. I also ended up with an infection on an incision within 2 days after surgery. They refuse to give you more than one pillow and if someone is staying with you, they are not allowed even a single sheet or blanket. They dont help you to take a shower even at 1 day post op. And whats worse, if your IV clogs they will FORCEFULLY push the clotted blood back into your veins as you scream from the pain. On top of that, they charge you for every single medication received post op. It is NOT included in your surgical payment. So if youre planning to have surgery there, be aware youre basically on your own until you leave. Reception is rude, especially the Carmen lady. I dont understand how she can be there. Shes got a horrible attitude and talks to you like a stray dog. Only pleasant person that works directly at this hospital is Alberto the security guard. Hes an awesome person and if the person staying with you needs food, his wifes sells some and its awesome according to my husband. So please... Be conscious of your decision before making it. I added two images of how my skin was left by the horrible nurses within two days. They then had the audacity to say it was my fault for having tender skin after ripping it off every 8 hours.

Stephanie Palomares Dr. Bui or however you spell it is a horrible Cardiologist. Blamed my mom for her heart problem when she couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her. Was saying “you have cancer” as if that was part of her job. Going back & forth with her about the same diagnosis saying she wants to know what the problem was & why she keeps having the same complications. There has been many other patients complaining for the same reason. I have an audio on her & how she says that she won’t care about her patient if her patient doesn’t care about themselves when my mom does everything possible to take care of herself

But if you already picked up the phone, why is it hard for you to book me and set an appointment for my son? very poor service to their patients, they take advantage of the fact that there are few pediatricians in the area

It is now Monday (January 30, 2023 at 8:30am and NO ONE is answering the phones! Did her office close down? What’s going on with this office?? If they decided to open later.. why isn’t there an answering service? I pressed every button to see if I can talk to anyone and it just keeps ringing. Extremely disappointed.

Ada Quevedo Update: my mother also took the test there. This place is her pcp and it was covered by the insurance. They had her waiting outside in her car for over 30 minutes. Then, administered the test and told her to wait in the car for the doctor. We waited for another 30 minutes only for the doctor to come out and tell her that she had to go home and wait two days. We were under the impression that we would get results then and there. They hire a bunch of unqualified, unprofessional, and rude employees. The receptionists are incredibly rude and lazy. Janira and Diana don’t answer the phone even when there are no patients inside. When asked about coverage they said it wasn’t their job and that I should call me insurance to see if they cover the service requested or not. “My supervisor said that if you are not a patient from this clinic that your insurance provider might cover it but if it doesn’t then you have to pay $180 cash today.” Then she refused to figure out if it was covered or not. I asked her how I would know if I had to pay cash today or not (I was already at the health center ready to get services) and she said I had to call. That’s as if I went to a store to ask if I have to pay nor or later and they tell you to call their corporate to ask and find out. Idiotic. Additionally, they took my details “for my chart”. Hopefully they do not try and bill my insurance with false claims that they administered services. Note: i did end up calling my insurance and they asked me if there was a receptionist or nurse there because these were questions they call and ask for.

Kris Purdy This clinic is a complete joke. Don’t go here unless you just want a Covid test and want to wait. The secretary’s decide whether the clinic will see you or not. 9/10 times they just call 911 for you even though it’s not an emergency because they don’t want to deal with it. So if you need someone to call 911 for you drive down there they are really good at that.

Twisted E. I cant even get a hold of anything when I call! No number or button will get me to anyone, the menu keeps repeating like 3 times and then hangs up! I promise I can give video proof. Help!! I just want to to someone at this clinic!!!!

Miss Rivera While I really love my provider Joe Gonzales I am rating this facility as 2 stars due to excessive wait times and unprofessional support staff. The national average wait time for a general office visit is between 15-20 minutes. The wait times at this facility are in excess of 1 hour before being seen despite arriving on or before your designated appointment time. Most telemedicine visit wait times to be seen by a PCP is typically 10-15 minutes, however, I was scheduled for a telemedicine visit today and despite confirming that I was standing by for my appointment I am still waiting to be seen and its been an hour and 10 minutes since my original appointment time. Additionally, support staff in the front of house are very curt, and even abrasive at times with patients. Support staff is dismissive or patient questions and concerns, and fail to respond to inquiries in a timely manner. My insurance provider faxed documentation several times and recieved no response. I also submitted faxes which were never responded to despite receiving fax transmission confirmations. I was then provided and email address as support staff advised they never recieve any of the numerous faxes, but that email was also never responded to.

Veronica Galicia I was very pleased to find this urgent care centet IS open 7 days a week. It is affiliated with Pioneers Memorial Hospital. Great to know there is another option other than the ER in the area. The hours are Mon-Fri 7a-12a Sat-Sun 10a-10pm. My service was pretty fast and everyone was very nice!

My truck had died and I was pushing it myself then I was surprised when they all came out to help, even offered me water. They let me use their phone that means a lot and I truly appreciate it because nowadays nobody really wants to help anyone out and you girls were willing to help me out willingly without me even asking you... Gilberto Moreno This place is a headache, even if you have an appointment you ended up waiting 1-2 hours more just to have a first contact with practitioner. If you call by phone, you are always put on hold regardless if they are free to answer, you stay there for 15 minutes if you are lucky. Not recommended at all

The wait when you actually get to go see the dr is ridiculous, 2-3 hours of waiting for a 10 minute appointment. The ladies in the front are always so rude and want to rush you off the phone, how any of them are employed is beyond me. They give Dr.Tristan a bad name because she’s awesome! They all need to be retrained on how to deal with parents and kids!

Michael Kelemen My eight year old daughter has been with this Doctor for years. It is always hit and miss with this office. Today (September 13th)I called in the morning to schedule an appointment to see the doctor. My daughter since Saturday has been having a sore throat. So I call… and call… and call. After 15 minutes of dialing I get a person on the phone who asks me to hold which I do for another additional 25 plus minutes. Then they tell me that they cannot see my Daughter. I tell them I’m available to wait for the whole day to “FIT” me in. Still they won’t take her. I ask for the supervisor. This person still says no. Reminder: My daughter has been with them for years. I ask about obtaining my Daughter’s medical records so that I can seek another Doctor. So easily this supervisor tells me: “ oh you can request thru her new doctor once she gets one.” Just like that they wrote us off. So… I call Dr Vo’s office here in Calexico. Went to them in less than an hour. They tested my Daughter for COVID. Negative. She sees the doctor and it’s a throat infection and he prescribes an antibiotic. Done. Quick. It’s that easy. Look. My daughter has been with Tristan for years and for quite a long time they have been barely accommodating at the least. A lot of people talk about how great this doctor office is and the doctors. Really? So beware…Tired of “Dumbing Down” for this. Time to move on. Oh… don’t believe the hype about this place…it’s not True!

Sara Hernandez the doctors are excellent, but the administrative service is fatal, they are supposed to open at 8:00, it is 8:50 and they have not been able to answer the phones and when they arrive they answer without a 20-minute wait. It is a pity that for the care of parents and children one has to change places.

Abby Castillo I been a patient for many years I made an appointment with my primary Dr Vandiver it took months, I suffered from migraines I was not able to drive so I took few minutes I got there 15 min late and they didn’t want to see me it’s their policy I explained them why I was there late they didn’t care so I drove back home. They wanted me to reschedule but I won’t be a patient anymore. They made us wait for who knows how long and we ok because we understand but they have policies.

Nina Oaks I have been trying to reschedule an appointment for several days now over the phone. No responde from a person by the name of Javier. I decided to stop by and I have been waiting for 45 minutes and still waiting. They do not provide information and just keep you waiting. No wonder why they have terrible reviews. Go somewhere else if you can.

Em J do not go here for prenatal care unless you want to be treated like you’re serving life in prison. Staff is completely unprofessional, they act as if you’re a bother to them. Management should check up on this office and suggest them a different career path. It’s a shame Calexico has the reputation it has!

Ricardo Fernandez If I could I wouldn’t even give 1 star. Office looks like you stepped back into 1950s. The medical table looked like they just had lunch on it while taking my vitals. After 3 hours of waiting and getting charged my deductible… I had to walk out. Those mismatched uncomfortable chairs that someone donated it felt like, were horrible. Would not stop by here ever. They can keep the deductible as a donation for a new chair.
