JANE RODGERS QUITLONG This is what I coughed up during my ER visit at Paradise Valley ER. They wouldn’t listen to me about having an infection. My eyes were also dripping with pus and they couldn’t come up with what it was. A child would know that it’s an infection. I had my first born here in August 1995. Please get the staff to be like it was back in the day. Caring, attentive, and genuinely concerned.

Ryu Lion I was there twice already, honestly, I didnt want to write a review because at the end I came out alive. To the owner: You need to improve your overall patient care. I saw how much you earn, I suggest you invest with improvements like nurses that know how to withdrawl blood and additional Drs..

Teresa Overstreet The procedure I had done yesterday at Paradise Valley Hospital. It went smooth. The hospital was comfortable clean. The doctors and the nurses were great. I was never left alone after my procedure. They constantly checked on me until I was released hours later.

Arturo Acuna Jr Very friendly staff. Only one doctor available but he was quite knowledgeable and professional. Ws treated for a knee sprain that occurred at work. Beautiful nurses was a huge plus. Good overall experience.

Brianna Espindola Never have I been to more unprofessional unproductive hospital in my life. Staff were unhelpful. The overall experience was horrible. The bathrooms were disturbingly dirty. After being in a car accident and experiencing horrible pain, the ambulance brought me in and I was still waiting in the waiting room for 4 hours. When I was finally seen they took me to a cold room. I asked for a warm blanket and 40 minutes later someone came with a cold blanket. Dr Ross came in to give me a ibuprofen and then sent me home. I was told X-rays would be a waste of money. I arrived around 9pm and got sent home around 3am ! Only to be given pain killers I could’ve got at a liquor store …. Never coming back to this ghetto hospital.

Roxanne O Rebecca Triebold works here and she’s amazing! She genuinely cares and always listens patiently to my concerns. I really appreciate her kind and empathetic treatment. The front desk is also very nice despite the high volume of patients (and their occasional rude comments). A big thank you to the whole team!

Leticia Munoz I’ve been under care of Dr. Cepin for 13 years and my experience has been outstanding. I was diagnosed with terminal sickness and she was accurate on every diagnosis. Dr. Cepin acted very fast and efficiently to get the right specialists and right treatments on time. She’s always received and welcomed me with and without insurance. She has gone above and beyond to help me as a friend and a doctor. It’s been an honor to be her patient, thank you to her and her team for treating me with such mobility, respect, and kindness.

Sheian I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional care Dr. Monica Cepin has provided to my three children since they were little. Now that they’ve grown up, I can say with certainty that she’s the best doctor weve had. Her dedication, kindness, and expertise shaped their health and well-being. We are truly fortunate. Thank you, Dr. Cepin

Doris hammar My visit was very good ,staff was great, Doctors Cepin the best, like always listening all my concerns. ;)

Maria Hood Dr Cepin really took the time to listen to the medical concern of my elderly parents. We waited a bit to be seen but my parents have a lot to be familiarized with, and I appreciate that her office doesn’t rush you. They are all very attentive from the front desk to the assistants. Dr Cepin really asked thorough questions to help identify the needs of my parent’s medical plan going forward. Highly recommend. (Only downside is you must allow sufficient time to find parking because that building is very busy and parking is tight in that parking garage).

A.J. Perez My family member went to her appointment with this doctor and she was treated unprofessionally, rudely. He acts like hes in a bad mood and speaks down to his patients. The office staff staff also is unprofessional. They ignore the patients because theyre busy talking amongst themselves. Its like the doctor and his staff are bothered by their patients. Another patient was there getting her records and changing doctors because of the horrible service and bedside manner. He needs to be talked to by a grievance officer and my family member intends to start the process.

Mariela Monserrath Lopez Gonzalez Dr. Valderrama has been my primary care physician for six years, and I couldnt be happier with the care Ive received, he is an exceptional internal medicine physician. Dr. Valderrama is not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate and caring. He takes the time to listen to my concerns and explain treatment options clearly. I feel confident in his care and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.
5 /5
Melody Moreno A very considerate, compassionate doctor who has impressed these qualities on his office staff. Dr. Valderrama and Jessie actually listen to their patients complaints and or symptoms prior to beginning an evaluation process. Very thorough and will take the time to explain procedures and "why" he is requesting this test. Ive been with this doctor for years now and never been happier. Dr. Valderrama & Jessie are true humanitarians. This is a rare and seldom quality found in doctors today. My doctor and his entire office staff are terribly considerate people. You would be doing yourself a great opportunity to have this office and the doctors help you out health wise. And theyre bi- lingual as well. Ten stars. I dont know why his office doesnt have a five star rating yet? He deserves 10 stars.

Melody Moreno This Doctors office sent me to a specialist who excised cancerous tissue that saved my life. Dr. Valderrama is a considerate, compassionate doctor that listens to his patients. He explains everything if you dont understand the procedure or tests given. He will then make his diagnosis and explain in detail to you all that encompasses your specific case. His entire staff has been taught his mode of treatment and they all utilize it. He is just a great Doctor that listens well and cares about all who enter his office. Youll be happy with my Doctor or his assistant Jessie as both are equally educated and great Doctors.

paloma hidalgo Terrible clinic, They found on my dad a spot that could be cancer in August, we are in December and still cannot make the appointment for the biopsy to know if it is cancer. The reason: they dont do their job well, they dont send the papers on time, they sent him for blood tests, he did them after 3 days, but it took the doctors assistants more than a week to send the results to the place where they had to do the biopsy and they did not accept them because they had to have been sent in less than a week from it was performed. And worst of all is that they blame my dad who is 67 years old according to them, he took a month to go and get tested. And there were many things that already made us to look for another doctor because they in 4 months could never confirm whether my father has cancer or not. The truth I would NEVER recommend this clinic. Im giving one star just because the page doesnt let me post less tan none stars.

Isabel Marquez Ramirez Doctors are great. Very professional. Most of the time staff is good. But today I didn’t appreciate the lack of professionalism from the receptionist. I believe her name is Arianna or Ari something like that. First of all, I checked the website and I called to make sure they opened at 8:00am. The first worker arrived at 7:57am. My son and I were waiting outside. We were let in at about 8:10 or so. The worker was polite. When the receptionist got there which her name was Arianna or Ari she asked me who let us in or if I just came in because they didn’t open until 8:45am. I said that the other worker let us in. Then she said that I had to wait because they didn’t open until 8:45. Then, once she called me to ask me why I was there she said she would verify my insurance. She called me again and said that my son couldn’t be seen there that he was assigned to Sharp. I said no, i have always brought him here for almost 18 years now. She rudely and almost talking over me said that that was what the computer was showing. I then said “maybe you’re confusing him with my husband since they have the same name.” I was trying to show my son’s insurance card, but she wouldn’t even look up. She went back to check and of course she was able to verify that he could be seen there. Never did she apologize. I mean i know it must be unpleasant to work on a Saturday morning, but she is supposed to have great customer service. Very dissatisfied with her lack of manners and professionalism. Other than that, the nurse assistant and doctor were great.

Marlene Silva My OBGYN referred us to Dr Jacobs at CPCMGM when our daughter was born. Dr Jacob’s has been nothing but wonderful, patient, caring and very informative in every single appointment we’ve been to. It is very easy to make an appointment over the phone. My baby had some spit up coming out of her nose one day which was alarming and getting medical advice over the phone was super easy and they were very nice. They ended up making an appointment to be seen the very next day. As first time parents, having a medical professional that is easily accessible and that is attentive and patient with us but most importantly good to our baby is the most important thing to us. My baby LOVES Dr Jacobs, she is always smiley and happy to see her. The people at the desk aren’t always nice. Sometimes their treatment to the patients is a little cold but I have never felt disrespected personally. I don’t mind it as long as the nurses medical assistants and the doctor treat my baby good. Usually they are pretty good with their schedule, sometimes we have to wait a few minutes past our appointment time to be seen but it’s always like that with doctors anyway. There was only one time that we waited for a little over an hour and the doctor apologized as they were behind schedule. While waiting to be seen, my baby was getting very unsettled as she was hungry and I needed to nurse her so I approached the front desk and asked if there was a space where I could nurse my daughter and they let us in to wait at an office where I was able feed my baby. I truly feel comfortable taking my baby here and it’s always so nice to see Dr Jacobs!

Lakeith Jones Time management is not their strong suit! My wife and 2 year old made it to their appointment early and was not seen for 1 hour and thirty minutes. We assume the lady at the first desk did not check them in properly. Even so, she did not check on them, ask how they were doing as countless people went in before her who arrive after her. There was another more experienced lady who did not step in at any point. There is a chance that the other young lady was new. The usually staff and doctors got to work when they found out what had transpired and were very apologetic. They got them through swiftly when they were aware of what happened. We have never had any issues with the doctors but we forewarn you, stay on top of the check in process.

Rend Alzahawi Dr. Jacob is great. I gave one star due to the poor communication and low quality service starting with the nurse, front desk and other staff members who kept giving false information , because they didn’t want to put a little bit of effort to communicate properly with the doctor. The management of the clinic have the obligation to promote a better service to the patients through hiring hardworking staff.

Sara N Anzaldo So I get assigned this doctor, 3 months before I had a different doctor whom I had seen and started my referrals. Somehow now I need an appointment to "establish care" and another different appointment for my actual referrals. I ask why they basically say just because. Even though I had just seen a doctor. (So this doctor doesnt have access to me records??) All this seems FRAUDULENT and an attempt to just get more money out of me the patient. Total nonsense when I know I need an obgyn & mammogram.

Chad Adapon The people here are responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. Having resources like these accessible is important to my health and I thank everyone here for their work. I came in for respiratory issues and they served me directly and concisely by prescribing me medicine based off my symptoms. They asked me important and informed questions regarding my sickness like the duration of sickness, symptoms, my exposure to others, chronic conditions, etc. all while being attentive and supportive. I usually feel uncertain when going to healthcare clinics because of how toxic and profit-based they can be, but I feel looked after in general when I go to FHCSD.

Appointments with Primary Care took wayyy longern should of to schedule considering shes been mine for a few yrs: my visit is required by medicare & rules, a yearly physical, shots, full body check. Often instead sent to specialty outside Dr. for Visits in lieu a physical. Lab: very good. Needed refills -ok. Listening- passing buck. Too big hurry to listen. I had a Dr for 11 yrs there b4 current. Great like a doctor whos listening. Im 72yo and I need help wo being outshopped elsewhere and return visits to this Dr months away. The Dr is nice. I care little about nice, I want to be heard, seen, helped. I have not seen this Dr in so Many months I forget her face.

Daniza I originally started coming to this clinic for my prenatal appointments which are upstairs on the second floor. The front desk girls were nice over all, but the staff that care for you in the back were very cold and rude. If you have any questions for them they make you feel as if youre bothering them. The sonogram technician was very polite and helpful. But the two male OB/GYN doctors I saw were awkward. I have a feeling they are new doctors that are just trying to complete their residency hours. One of the male doctors I saw there was so rude he didnt want to even hear my questions. He would roll his eyes and act like I was wasting his time. Both male doctors seem very young and inexperienced. Plus have no empathy for pregnant women. Which makes me think why they would be in this line of work with that kind of attitude. I also went down stairs for a Healthy Adult Check Up (a physical with a primary physician) and they couldnt get me an appointment until almost 2 months out. Finally the day came when I show up for my appointment and they told me my appointment was canceled because the provider was out that day due to emergency. I understand emergencies happen but they shouldve called or texted me to tell me my appointment was canceled. The lobby is packed with people waiting to be seen and they make you wait so long even if you come to your appointment on time. The only reason why I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because I do physical therapy (on the second floor) and I love my physical therapist. Shes been a godsend. I have been so lucky to have her as my physical therapist and she has helped me tremendously. I no longer come to this location for prenatal appointments and I will be looking for another provider for regular doctors appointments as well. This place is just not a reliable, friendly, comfortable, or reasonable place to come to, unless youre in the physical therapy department - which seems to be the only great thing about this place.

maria Miranda This review is for the vision clinic. I took my son last Thursday. The front desk assistant and optometrist provided exceptional service. The assistant was a hispanic male I cannot recall his name his name but he was so good at explaining to my son every exam he would do and what the equipment would do so he was not scared or nervous at all. The optometrist was great at explaining the results. I highly recommend this vision clinic to adults and kids. Thank you again!

Nicholas Aguilar Vega is the worst primary Doctor I have ever had. She canceled appointments on me because she doesnt know how to do her job she doesnt care about her patience. She is very misleading and has wasted my time. I just found out the reason why she canceled on me specifically its because she wants more days off for herself. She should be fired as an MD. I needed referrals for mri & x-rays so I can have my surgery from a car accident I had. But because of her misleading me she is wasting my time and my body is in more pain than ever. If youre going to be a new patient do not go with Vega. Im being very serious someone used to fire her. Once again because of her misleading me and me having to go back and forth between other doctors that I cant see because I need referrals from her. My pain in my body has increased so much that Im taking more than pain medication. I cant rely on paij medication because im on blood thinners.

Dr. Huang needs to do better and get on top of his employees. And those girls need to get a different job if they don’t like what they do.

Two weeks later I had my insurance company investigate why I hadn’t received my HMO permission and was told they ( the insurance company ) didnt receive it until 2 weeks later than I was told. So office staff lies and my medical procedure will now be delayed and I’m switching doctors to one with more responsible staff

Jonathan Pena Nurses care more about socializing and gossiping with each other than the care for the patients. Should have chosen a different profession if that’s all they care about doing. Only time they seemed to care was when I was throwing up in the trash can they quickly came in and told me not to throw up in there. Very rude also there’s a huge lack of empathy and professionalism. No status updates or sense of urgency for patients in pain. Try to avoid this ER if possible. I recommend sharp memorial in Kearny. Was frequently being checked on and was more hospitable , the doctor there also told me some of the first ER medication they were giving me was actually making me worse.

Marcela Espino Most nurses there were working hard. But I was given antibiotics that made me go to the bathroom serveral times in a short period of time. Please keep all nurses informed as to the reactions the patient will have because of the medication. I was unaware there was a bathroom limit. I asked a different nurse if my medicine is the cause of so many trips to the bathroom she said yes. Inconsistent if I say so. My Doctors there were great swell as the rest of the staff. A few nurses complaining because I asked for assistance to use the bathroom, I felt like an animal rather than a person. These are the reason I rated as low as I did.

tiffany snyder Came in to receive care for my wife after Urgent care sent us here. We arrived at 8pm. Vitals and blood work done. After 3.5 hours we were told they were waiting on results from a blood work pregnancy test before CT scan. Then after 4.5 hours we were told that everyone needs a CT scan and its placed in order by severity. Nurse told us we should have planned to be here all night cause thats what happens when you go to an ER. This place is an absolute joke. The nurses dont check on you, dont give any updates as to whats going on and seem to not even care. Ive never waited like this in a hospital to recieve any sort of care. Do better!

Em Squared I called to schedule a first appt with Dr. Newmark and was transferred to “Intake Dept” where I waited on hold 10 mins. I finally got “Michelle,” who talked a mile a minute and I couldn’t understand her. I told her I was a bit hard of hearing and that I’d record this to transcribe later but could she please speak louder and repeat herself? She spoke louder but again, too fast for me to catch. I apologized profusely and said I was embarrassed but had to ask her again to kindly slow down. She got irritated and short and gave up on her scripted speech and said loudly that they needed a credit or debit card on file and would charge (1st it was $50, then she said $60), plus any co-pay, for appts xxld less than one business day. She asked for my name and was still clearly irritated and I gave it to her and apologized again for irritating her but she said she wasn’t irritated, however her tone and shortness w/me clearly indicated she was. I started getting really upset/teary and told her I’d need to call back but I don’t plan to. It was hard enough for me to get the nerve to call this time.

Laura Skillicorn I had the worst experience with their office in Chula Vista, California. I called their office and spoke with Cynthia. I had a question regarding a bill that was emailed to me and she was rude and quick to tell me that I would have to speak with the billing department. She would not provide me with the number or transfer my call. When I asked for a supervisor she said she did not have one site and would not provide me with any information regarding her supervisor. She also stated there was no one else in the office I could speak with. She didn’t even allow me to set up an appointment. I just wanted some clarity on an email that was sent regarding a bill that was due before it went to collections. Cynthia is definitely not suited for her job and/or needs further training regarding her current position.

Miramon Matthew (Matt) I had a scheduling issue here. I called to cancel an appointment with one provider and book with another. The proper process was not followed on Mindpath’s system to allow me to see a different Mindpath provider. I booked a new appointment myself and that was cancelled automatically by the system. After hearing nothing on the day of my new appt. I called back to ask about this, and Raquel answered the phone. When I let her know what was going on (I was a bit frustrated, but stayed respectful) I was told to stop being aggressive and to “let her help because that’s what she does, she helps people”. I did not need to be spoken to in this manner, I was not being inappropriate, and I am not a child. Especially while dealing with a mental health issue that I am seeking help for. The staff at Mindpath Chula Vista needs to learn how to speak to people dealing with Mental Health issues, since that is literally the business they are in.

Marie B Mapp I love my doctor but Mindpath on a business day is so unprofessional, I have double coverage and they keep threatening me that they will send me to collections and when I call they apologize over n over but keep up on your billing, I got a invoice for $15,000 saying I owe them and when I called the CSR said she can wave a portion of the bill and then I got an email saying disregard the bill that was sent to me by error. Love my doctor she the best ever.

Kyle Royer I wish there was a way to give negative stars because the service here is terrible. I’ve been a patient here for years. I’ve been trying to get a prescription refilled for 10 days with no response from my doctor. I’m currently looking for a new doctor. The office will not authorize a refill if the pharmacy asks for one. They require you to call your doctor for a refill but never told me that was their policy. There is no other doctor that can refill my medication at mindpath. I have asked multiple times for the office to call my doctor directly but they state they can only message her. This place was bad before they switched to mindpath health and somehow managed to make their service even worse. It’s a shame they do this to people suffering with mental health issues.

Marjorie Adams I live in Japan and came to visit stateside for a month and I got a bacterial infection on my foot/ankle but wasn’t quite sure....thought I’d ride it out but was too painful and I couldn’t wait until Monday to meet with my previous primary doctor. Big decision, do I go to ER or try urgent care that I just saw the other day driving around with my mom. Decided Sharp Urgent Care would be less time consuming over the weekend. BEST DECISION EVER AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. Loved my medical team, shout out to Lauren my attending PA (nope you don’t need a doc when they know their stuff and listen to you as a patient) my nurse John who made sure I was doing ok at all times and would check in on me, charge nurse Paul, my gentle giant who started my IV and drew blood and added lots of goodies into the IV. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge my X-ray tech and the lovely receptionist that checked me in. I had a lot of things done and I was in and out of there within 2 1/2 hours. I’ve sat in ER for 12 hours so this was such a treat. The Japanese are well know for their excellent customer service, it’s just their culture, but my medical team would definitely fall in that same category. It was a great experience domo arigato gozaimashita!

Scott Mudgett Went in On a Friday to have a look at my eye. Greeted with friendliness and courtesy. Advised of approximate wait times. Seen by Dr Nierva who took the time to really check it out and not make a quick diagnosis. Pushed my prescription through and had me out the door feeling like this is a pretty darned good Urgent Care.

Alicia Garcia Waited 2 hours for a drug screening and the front desk told me i was next in line. As i sat down i noticed 8 people getting called in front of me who had only waited maximum 30 minutes. The lady was rude and did NOT seem like she wanted to be there. I am Not happy.

Esmeralda Orejel Ive never had any issues , the staff is great , always very attentive and nice . My appointments are always given to me in a timely manner , even when I have to take my kid in for whatever reason Ive never had an issue getting an appointment for a same day visit. Dr Santiago is amazing , shes always attentive and redirects us to specialist if need to immediately. If theres any lab results she makes sure to give you a call back quickly Im extremely amazed by the efficiency. My kid and I we love her, she truly seems to love her job, she hears you out, shes patient and caring, she always makes sure our questions are answered.

Chloe L I took 2 days off a week. My boss has…Brought my son to see a doctor, but he never saw the doctor. He had a cough, headache, dizziness, vomiting, and stomachache the first time. I made an appointment 2 weeks later. 2 days later, he had a second cough, headache, dizziness, and stomachache, which became more severe and he couldn’t go to school. He cried out in pain when his stomach was touched. A woman said he couldn’t wait and could go to an emergency clinic…….

Rayven J. Johnson I love that I found a place that truly takes the time to care for my daughters. I also love that they offer after hours appointments which makes it convenient for my work schedule. All the staff here is incredibly friendly and warm and the doctors all show wonderful bedside manner and are great with kids. I couldn’t ask for anything more!

alejandra meneses They denied my daughter a walk-in even though she was sick and needed to see a doctor , they said they didn’t have appointments available and that they couldn’t see her, I will not be returning and I don’t recommend taking your children there.

Nick Decherd We have been here for three years. Doctors have been good, although they are often overbooked. This last year of service was particularly rough for our family as we noticed longer than normal wait times (not unusual to wait in excess of 30 minutes for our scheduled appointment). We have also been trying to get through to billing for three weeks to pay remaining bills for the year. The Voicemail system is in place and promises a call back, but we still have not received the call back. We give it two stars for now with hope that CPCMG will take notice and take action to hire more staff in order to serve their patients. Hopeful that changes will be made and we can update our review next year.

John Scharden Terrible. The staff is nice but Dr. Lopez was extremely rude he criticized my profession telling me I need to go to school or find a better job ( Im a security guard). He also did not listen to why I was here for the visit cut me off several tines during our conversation and then made me wait an additional hour just to get my prescriptions. I do NOT recommend visiting this office. Thats my last time there.

Andrew Roehr I had a good experience when I saw Jose R Lopez, but Ive been trying to help my wife set up a new patient appointment and Ive encountered nothing but utter incompetence by the staff. I have lost count of how many times I had to call in order to get them to confirm her insurance (which I ended up just giving up). They never called me back to let me know they couldnt get ahold of the insurance which took me 5 minutes or when they asked me to text her member ID card another day went by before I had to call and ask for an update. They basically played stupid whenever I called them out on this, how hard is it to give a call back? Had to change PCPs.

Marci Lambros If I could leave zero stars I would. I choose Dr. Lopez as my primary care doctor upon moving to San Diego. I asked for a referral to a knee surgeon since I have been putting off knee replacement for years. I had been to an orthopedic doctor before moving to San Diego and a knee replacement had been recommended, so this was not a whim. Dr. Lopez ordered chest X-rays, abdominal ultrasound, and multiple other tests that had nothing to do with knee surgery. He ordered some texts that I had recently had within a few months of seeing Dr. Lopez, but he wanted new ones instead of ordering anything from previous doctors. A month later, I still have no referral to a knee doctor. And thats not the only issue I have with his office. I talked to him about an instance of vertigo Id had just a few nights before my appointment. He gave me a prescription and said maybe I had a bad dream. I called back within a few days and asked for a referral to an ENT and his assistant said Id have to talk to him first. I told her Id already talked to him about the issue when I was in his office but she said he could do a telephone health check up and would call me that afternoon. I never received a phone call. Fortunately the vertigo has cleared up on its own. After a month, I still have not received a phone call or a referral to an ENT. And if that wasnt enough, I asked for a refill to a regular medication I take. I asked that they send it to my mail order pharmacy. He said talk to his assistant, Michelle. So I asked Michelle and she said they would send it. The mail order pharmacy did not receive it. I called Michelle back after a few days and asked if they could resend it. She said no, they already sent it. I persisted and said I realize you sent it but they dont have it and Im running out, could you please help me out and send it again. She reluctantly said yes. Later that day I received a call from my local Walgreens that they sent the prescription to them. This is a maintenance drug that Dr. Lopez said I could refill at 90 days at a time. They sent a prescription to the wrong place, and for only 30 days with no refills. I could go on about the incompetence of this doctor and his staff.

Rory Murphy My wife came in for a dog bite alone and scared. After providing her insurance information the gentleman(Kirk was the only name provided) who was "helping" her told her that her co-pay was $200, which she objected to because we have excellent insurance and an ER visit is less(is there some insurance where Urgent Care co-pay is higher?) . She confirmed with our insurance(which I later did as well, including confirming it is in-network) and should be only $20. She also requested to just be billed as she knew this was a mistake and he told her she could go somewhere else. She ended up just paying the $200, which he “fixed” later after she mentioned that her husband was on his way. This is not acceptable behavior for someone who should be providing services like this and I am deeply concerned by her treatment. I attempted to discuss these concerns with the administration and was ignored so I have decided to post it here. The rest of the staff seemed professional per her account, except the administrative response to me. Unsure if this was some form of discrimination or just plain incompetence by the employee. Doubt anything will happen, and all I wanted was an apology to her. Compassion should be the first response in a situation like this.

vivy gee I have covid and I waited 3 hours to get checked out. My symptoms were fever, rapid heart rate, lots of fatigue, throat pain and runny nose. After 3 hours all they did was tell me to go to the drug store and get some Tylenol. I told them I wanted paxlovid like my husband and my friend got (at other hospitals) and they denied it to me. I tried fighting them about it and they told me that my body needs to fight it on its own. I was literally in tears. It’s been a week and I haven’t gotten any better if I die it’s because of this pos hospital that didn’t care to help me

Pat Fune I just want to praise this SRS location’s Specialty Department (specifically my Allergy Nurse Joseph C., as well as the front desk staff including but not limited to: Joanna, Christina, and most recently Herman, & Melissa). Today, I just completed my 4-year allergy injection therapy to rid my sensitivity to all allergens I’ve suffered my entire life. The allergy injection therapy has been a game changer for me! No more Allegra, Claritin, Benadryl, Flonase, Zyrtec, etc. RN Joseph has been administering my allergy injections the entire time, and along with Dr Odhav (my allergy doctor from the Scripps Ranch location) have been wonderful in treating my lifelong allergies, which have been responsible for much of my asthma issues. With my allergies well under control without the constant need for OTC medications, my asthma related health issues have decreased significantly. It was always a pleasure coming in as often as I had because the staff has always been top notch! Every office visit, they were friendly, helpful, attentive and it felt like white glove service whenever I had an appointment here. All the desk help were awesome booking upcoming appointments up to 6 months out, accommodating me when conflicts came up and getting me setup with an alternative appointment date/time. If you have any reasons for visiting SRS’s specialty department for allergy, ENT, MSK, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Audiology, Nephrology, or Pacemakers, you’ll be in great hands! I can’t praise the staff here, especially RN Joseph in Allergy enough. They’re all great!

faline aguon Came here twice for a drug test and the staff on the second floor were the worst! The first day I came I waited 3hrs and they ended up closing one me saying "come back tomorrow or you can go to another location but all the locations are closed at the moment". So that was useless. I had to take off another day so I can come in right when they opened. I spoke with the same ladies at the front desk they remembered but when I first checked in they greeted me with "Youre going to have to wait but we may not get to you again" please note they had just opened. Seeing others check in for drug tests and getting it done before me when "drug tests are walk ins" but ive been sitting here for 4hrs to pee in a cup. Asked whats the approximate wait time and said "Cant give you a time since we may not get to you" but when others came in after me they were quoting "30mins". I came in when there were five people here now people are pouring in and now I have no choice but to wait. Please just make sure the managers and staff have better customer service. I waited quietly and patiently but for people who have a life be transparent and fair. This is my first time at Sharp but I know for sure I wouldnt want them as a provider if a simple drug test couldnt go smoothly and there customer service is so bad.

A R The facility itself is clean and inviting, though parking can sometimes be challenging. Dr. Woo is extremely friendly and approachable, but thats if you can get an appointment. The clinic does not answer phone calls and requires a voicemail to receive a call back which seems to delay care. Has potential to be great, but lacks fundamentals.

He is the opposite of welcoming had trouble scheduling an appointment with him and on top of that I noticed how badly he mistreats is coworkers, heard him reasoning his voice which in my opinion was very unprofessional for him to be talking like that in an office. Hope to see a change..

This is very sad to see as this person in particular is a handworker and always so nice to all the patients that she encounters. joe Diaz We took my mother-in-law to have them check her ears because they were hurting. We were told that she has an ear infection on both ears. The doctor told my wife that she was going to prescribe her ear drops with antibiotics for her infection. This was on 8/10/2023 and today is 8/21/2023, she is still waiting for her antibiotics medication. We keep calling this place to find out what is going on with her medication and they keep telling us that they dont know anything about her medication. They are very unprofessional and I do not recommend this to anyone. This place should not be in business!!.

Rachael Nesseth The front office staff, nurses, and Doctors are great. But watch out they double bill your insurance. We have been here three times and all three times our insurance has been billed for both an urgent care trip and an hospital outpatient trip. So we get billed for 2 separate co-pays. Currently fighting over them all. As no where is it listed as an ER or that it will be billed like on on top of being billed for urgent care. Other than that its great

Jessica Garcia The only reason I come to this location is because it’s the closes to my home and I do t want to be at an er for hours. It’s ridiculous when there was only one person in the waiting room when I came in. And I didn’t get fully checked in until 2 hours later because 8 people came in and got checked in and brought back to rooms right away and there was no communication to why they were taken in first before my son and I was. I had to wait two hours before I got fully checked in and still no apology for having to wait. If I wanted to wait 2 hrs or more I should have went to the er instead. The nurses need to understand us parents need to be communicated to when we are having to wait longer and being skipped to let others go in front of us when we came first before them. Training needs to be done. So I give this place 1 star for the wait my son and I had to endure when he was complaining to me that his ear hurts, the lack of communication that was given to us parents that had to wait longer to be checked in. The cleanliness of the place is great give a 4 for that.

Sara Heron I never review anything, but had to review this place. I would give them 6 stars if I could!! Doctors, nurses, and front desk staff were all amazing. Kind/caring, professional, knowledgeable, efficient. This was our first experience of urgent care with our 2 year old daughter and I was not looking forward to it. They made me feel so safe. They made a difficult/stressful experience with a sick kid as positive as it could possibly be. So grateful!!

S. Yadira Amaro We took our nephew to urgent care and said it was a stomach pain. Doctor was saying is a virus is going on she saw 7kids going through that today. She touch her stomach and saw my nephew on pain. She saw blood on is pee and said is normal for the stomach pain. And Right now my nephew is on a hospital with a burst appendix and can’t be operated because he is so weak. I rather do emergency hrs than going back to this place.

Maribel Valles Horrible experience!! I haven’t took my kids and years and since then the service has declined extremely. I made an appointment early in the morning for the only one available at 4:30pm. But decided that was too far out and went to wait before doors opened at 1:00pm. I arrived at the urgent care at 12:45pm which had a long line already before open hours. Fine. I waited in line outside in the cold just like every other parent and their sick kids Then the second line inside to check in. I told the lady at the computer I had an appointment at 4pm, but decided I didn’t want my son to suffer and came earlier to wait as a walk-in. She said oh I know or whatever words ( pretending ) to acknowledge me. She then said I was #14, which would make sense since the moms before me were 12 & 13. 2 hours pass with my son who has a fever and throwing up, when I hear them call #15 and assumed due to the crowded small area I must’ve not heard mine. I go up to the window with the larger lady in glasses, and I asked if she called 14? She said she didn’t see 14, then ended up finding it for 4:30pm. It’s 2:30pm at this point. I arrived at 12:45 then opened at 1….i said oh i had an appointment but I told the other older lady with glasses I didn’t want my son to suffer that long so I came earlier. She tells me “ you can’t just come in and expect an earlier appointment. “ I said, I did not expect an earlier appointment I came as a walk-in and let the other old lady know that I didn’t want my son to suffer longer so I waited as every other person did. The old lady with glasses butts I’m from far, somehow when she has a triple the size line out the door now, and goes no you didn’t you didn’t say that. I said yes I did I said I HAD an appointment at 4, but I didn’t want my son to suffer. I also said, even if I didn’t say that (which I did) isn’t it common sense you seen me check in really early. Why would I wait out the door at 12:45 to be seen at 4:30????? She says that isn’t common sense. Both were teaming up against me telling me I’m lying, oh well, and to come back at 4:30 or don’t come back at all. I have never had to get so frustrated at a doctors office or professional setting especially with kids. But to call me a liar absolutely not. Especially at their BIG OLD AGE. I told them instead of admitting it you made a mistake cus you’re so booked and over worked you’re lying that I didn’t tell you that and saying oh well to my sick son whose been waiting and throwing up the in the bathroom!! They continued to shout and call me a liar and say to leave at the same time, even the bigger old lady stands up like shes tough and scarey and said to leave. I said ofcourse I’m leaving why would I stay the some idiots who can’t even treat a place with sick children properly. Both are too old to be working for children. Both are careless. I took pictures of them; I will be going to corporate. Nasty people who don’t care for children’s well-being and calling people liars, instead of apologizing should not be working in health fields. Maybe other clients parents lets the mistreatment slide; but not me I will contact whoever and keep contacting until I hear back from hire up. I don’t take pictures of consent, but I was so furious since my son is my trigger and weakness, and for them to treat us awful. I sure did.

Susan K The PA is a really great guy, good doctor who spends time with me and is a great listener. However, the front desk people are worthless. The nurses who call you are terrible. I have to call and hassle them for results on anything and everything I do. The nurse is the one to call me about a polyp and when I go to read the actual medical notes some visits later it turns out it was polyps plural. She didnt say that. I had to call from another state to tell my Dr I needed a prescription and I called at 7am and they didnt get back to me until 4:45 even though I called again in the middle of the day. I will be switching offices. Your staff is terrible. Even the nurse who took my blood across the street from your office says your staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Yacine Chouaib Doctors are great however the people in charge of answering the phone and billing are terrible, I called to schedule a yearly check up, they coded it as an office visit, I have been trying to have them fix the coding error for 5 months, I received a voicemail from Liz in billing informing me that it will be written off and she suggested I find a new doctor, which I am ok with since I don’t want to deal with them in the future, a month later I’m still receiving a bill for it. When I called back, Denise mentioned ‘we are all frustrated and trying to stay open and pay medical workers’.....? What does that have to do with making a mistake and unable to make an effort to fix it and being all rude on the phone by suggesting to a patient to go find another doctor...? Please stop being rude and fix your coding errors and instead of educating your patients on what they should do in order to avoid your mistakes, you need to train your people better to minimize these administrative glitches Last place patients expect anxiety from is their doctors office.
