Maya Malekian Its rare to find a doctor as attentive and experienced as Dr. Cherik. Not only has he taken great care of my health, but is also a pleasure to speak with at every appointment. The staff and Dr. Cherik were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Cherik really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Cherik.

Harry NuTSaK Very helpful, listened to me completely (a Dr. that listens to you without rushing so he/she can get to the next appointment is hard to come-by these days). Remember negative posts are from people that didnt get what they want or expected. They are biased & not worth reading most of the time! I saw Dr. Cherik 7 years ago & now had to change up my medical, just so I can see him now What does that tell you? & I have seen 4 different neurologists. Cherik is a great Dr.

Michelle Maleky I truly believe these reviews do not do justice in revealing Dr. Cheriks expertise as a neurologist. I have gone in for a concussion and the appointment date set, and time spent waiting in the office is standard for any patient going into a doctors office. He was extremely helpful and informative during my visit. I was in and out in an efficient amount of time. If you want a good quality doctor, the wait is DEFINITELY WORTH IT.

Cyndi D Dr. Armen Cherik is an awful doctor/person. I waited so long to get an appointment and it was a total waste of my time and money. I suffer from 3 different conditions which I addressed with him. One thing that I have is severe restless leg syndrome. I can’t sleeps for days on end right. Cherik tells me not to worry because there are plenty of treatment options. He sends me for bloodwork and needs to get records from my previous neurologist. Tells me to come back in a month. A MONTH I’m suffering here and he says come back in a month. So I go back a month later and after sitting in the exam room for an hour waiting for him he walks in, sits down, and says ok let’s see what we have here. He hadn’t even reviewed my test results or gone over previous records. Again only addresses one problem, writes two prescriptions and get up to leave. I’m like hey what about my………….he looks at me writes something gives it to me says get this test and then literally walks out of exam room. I finally get my prescriptions because twice he wrote the prescription on the wrong prescription pad. AND THEN the office refuses to call the pharmacy and makes come back to the office to get a new one. The first time I took the medication I had a psychotic episode which had never happened to me before in my life. Remember I said earlier that he told me not to worry because there were plenty of treatment options, LISTEN TO ME when I called the office to discuss what happened he would not talk to me and asked the assistant to tell me that there was nothing else that he could do for me. End of story! I’m am now seeing my previous neurologist and paying out of my pocket because my insurance changed and her practice does not accept it. Now I have read some excellent reviews for him however he my experience was awful and would not go back to him if he said he’d see me for free. Good Luck to anyone who makes the choice to go to Dr. Armen Cheriks practice! My suggestion/option is RUN THE OTHER WAY!

Jeero Habeshian Dr. Mirzaian is very compassionate and easy to visit. He is genuine and mild-mannered, and not quick to push the pills like other doctors with whom I have experience. He encourages patients to research medications and make informed choices. His office is conveniently located and the parking is easy and always available. He has a great assistant who is always welcoming.

Helen I am in the process of changing insurance and my number one requirement is to keep Dr. Mirzaian. I cant say enough great things about him and his staff. I love Party and Stephanie and Dr. Mirzaian actually listens and takes his time with you.

Tish Marz Staff refused me to see Dr. Mizaria at my 4:00 medical until I paid my balance of $28.00. I made appt for my shoulder that I hurt when I fell. I gave staff my supplemental insurance card as well as my SSD medical card. I told them I would come in on Wednesday to pay bill when I received my SSD check. Staff told me to pay bill before I could see Dr. Mizarian. Given my health issues of PE, Heart Disease, cauda equina, and limited income, I walked out of the Doctors Office.

Robert Dixon My father was under the care of Dr. Mirzaian. No phone calls were returned, and he was never prescribed vitally needed supplies such as oxygen and wheel chair despire repeated requests. Managed health care IMO. Money is only made in volume, so individual attention is impossible. Either that or the good doc just doesnt care.

Big Dog This place is a disgrace to all American medical facilities. I have a 4 fractured ankle that is in Ridiculous amount of pain and all they want to give me is Extra strength, Tylenol and ibuprofen. I can’t sleep. I can’t eat from the amount of pain. It’s been over 10 days. I can’t even get a hold of an orthopedic doctor. This place is a disgrace to all people of California and the medical industry never use this place. They do not care about their patients. All they care about is running your medical.

Nazeli Karapetyan The WORST office ever!!!!!!!! Due to Maral at front desk and Maricris Sitjar (not processing simple information properly) had the worst patient experience! First of all, I am a very high risk pregnant, I have a note from my OB/GYN shared with them about all the complications that I have and I am required to see a high risk doctor before getting pregnant again! They set an appointment with their Nurse Practitioner, she sees me, gets my info and CONFIRMS that the doctor has to see me. They set me another appointment with the DOCTOR Galstyan, I wait for 1 MONTH for my appointment, and 30mins before the appointment they inform me that I am going to see the NP again!!!! Moreover, when I call them they CONFIRM come to the office and you will see the DOCTOR. I rush to the office and they say you are going to see the NP. REALLY??????? Can you even communicate each other properly?? PLUS they had my blood work for over a month and today they are telling me that you should see the NP as you have not done the blood work when I say its there, they suddenly find the results!!!! You are redicilous!!!!

Abby Perez I can’t wait until my foot rehab is done and I never have to come here again. I have had an appointment and still waited 1.5-2 hours for the dr to speak to me for 2 mins. They lost my insurance paperwork and have never followed up for my xrays before even when im told they will. Everytime i come here its a toss up - most of my appointments have ended up being a waste of my time due to them not telling me they didnt receive ppwrk or xrays. Also they rarely answer the phone :)

Roggie Tate If I could rate this office a -100 I most certainly would. My husband went here and saw Dr. Robert Reisch. I advise anyone going here to definitely go elsewhere. Not only does this office double and triple book their clients, your wait time no matter what you’re coming in for is always 1.5hrs or more. The front office is disgustingly rude. We have dealt with the front office personal by the name of Elesia or Alecia not sure how to spell her name, but this woman needs not to be in this profession. I had to do all the work due to the offices incompetence in simple paperwork. It took over a month for them to correctly submit an authorization, took them a couple weeks to correctly send over pre-op paperwork. Even the PMD was shocked at how rude they were when they called over to obtain the information. After all the hoops we had to go through with the front office surgery was scheduled. Did the surgery the end of February. Not even a week after the surgery the sutures fell out(wound was not healed or closed). Told the office, no one called us or filled up with us until post op appointment. The during the appointment informed the doctor of the lump that’s still there. He stated it’s just swelling. 3 weeks post op called the office again regarding this “swelling” that seems to be protruding out of his wrist now. The office never returned a call nor does the doctor. Finally makes an appointment 2 months post op and Dr. Reisch doesn’t even recall the patient. We inform him of our frustrations with the office and how the ball was dropped. He then informs me that they are “short staffed”. I told him that doesn’t give them a reason to be rude continuously. He then assures us that this will be taken care of and his office will get on it to schedule the procedure AGAIN. Fast forward to SEPTEMBER, we haven’t heard from the office since APRIL! They never submitted a auth never did anything. I called a hand specialist and she needed up removing a cyst that was down to the bone. The original surgery that was done NOTHING WAS REMOVED, patient just left with A LOT of scar tissue, which they had to cut through to actually remove the cyst. The cyst that was removed was the size of a golf ball or bigger because of the location. Which once he opened up his wrist he would’ve seen that also. So pleaseeeeee save your insurance and sanity from this place. They are rude and don’t actually do the work. If you want stress and botched work I would recommend this office.

Lil A Mary the receptionist is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and LAZY. We called to refill a prescription and Mary immediately told us that she is busy and for us to call her later to remind her to so. Mary then resorted to raising her voice and being combative. Dr. H, its unfortunate that you have these bad reviews and staff that conducts themselves in such poor manner. I hope that you provide them with the correct training to remedy this ill reputation of your office.

Iman Schrock Dr. Dilanchiyan is amazing. He had a calm energy about him and listened carefully and helped my mind at-ease which I really appreciate. He then immediately diagnosed my problem and fixed a nagging issue that was frightening me. Overall I was very pleased with my experience, he is an amazing doctor!!!1

Karoline Sarkees I came to Glendale Memorial Hospital yesterday to get my first ever surgery done and I was very nervous at first but my nurse was so good to me. His name is Edmar he was there for me from the beginning to the end very helpful very caring. I had to stay overnight and he was helping me with everything. I really like how they take care of you at this hospital during and after surgery so thankful.

David Hughes I went to Glendale Memorial for a hernia surgery this morning. Let me say this is a EXCELLENT hospital! From check-in this morning at 6:30 until 12:30 when I left, every step of the way wasfast, beyond professional and friendly! There was never a lag time between any of the steps, like a finely tuned machine. I only wish I knew everybodys names so I could thank them personally! Really a positive day! Also, the interior of the hospital is AWESOME! It looks brand new! Not a scuffed wall or a dirty floor in the whole place that I could see! Last but not least, I am very thankful and consider myself lucky and blessed to have such a skilled and experienced surgeon like Dr. Asok Doraiswamy to perform the procedure! I am very grateful and thank you sir!

Kelly Johnson The care team was exceptional, especially Dr Freling and Gary the transporter. They were skilled, efficient and compassionate, a rare yet necessary trifecta in health care The facilities were filthy. I would not go back due to extremely dirty surroundings from the ED lobby to the ED bay i was placed in. I was worried about infection the entire time and could not wait to get out. There was feces and blood in the entry, bandaids and used cups in the waiting area, and the actual room had bloody bandages and tourniquets on the floor along with just plain dirty floors that had not been scrubbed in a while. I was assured my gurney and the chair in the room had been wiped down?? There was also old and broken equipment in the hallways. Our healthcare providers cannot clean their own spaces. Please ensure they have the environment and materials to do their best work are supported by administrative decisions about allocation of adequate resources. Thank you!

Lou Nickerson My dad had a bad experience very recently. He was put in a shared room with a homeless man who had a TV on full blast day and night. I get the homeless epidemic in LA isn’t the hospital’s fault but why does he have to suffer?

Magdy Shenouda I had a surgery done and I didn’t feel good after so I went to this emergency room and they made me sit down on a chair for more than 6 hours not even a bed to lay down on and the solution that was hooked up to my arm had a broken device. After the doctor told me that I can leave, he told me that I was supposed to do a urine test. The nurse that was hooking the solution to my arm has absolutely no experience, my arm has a large bruise on it because of how inexperienced he was. All the doctors and nurses are very ignorant when it comes to the patient, they don’t care about them and all they care about is messing around and laughing while people are suffering. Please do not go to this emergency room it’s very bad.

Norik Davtian My mom has been very appreciative of Dr Avakian’s care as her primary care doctor. She recently went through a major cancer treatment and it was Dr. Avakians care and attentiveness that saved us going through hard times. Fortunately we were able to find out very early on and Dr Avakian referred us to specialists and got all of the labs scheduled for us beforehand to not waste any sensitive time. His office staff took care of all of the authorizations and speedy scheduling of all of the tests and referrals. Glad to have a family doctor as passionate about his patients as Dr. Avakian. Dr Saro Avakian is an exceptional and professional family care doctor we highly recommend.

Orchid Nejad My review is not about the doctor. It’s about the staff. Ladies in the front desk are absolutely unprofessional, rude and have no regards for patient and their medical condition. Older lady with dark hair and she’s somewhat tall I’ve never seen somebody that rude that works in medical field she looks like she is in charge. She refused to care or listen or help to make sure my father’s life is not in risk. Stopping a patient blood pressure is extremely Unacceptable. My mother and father both were patients of doctor saro my father had some problem with his insurance that was not aware of and then while we were on the process of getting everything on track the staff stoped sending his blood pressure prescription To our pharmacy because they wanted him to come for visit and pay $350 for visit. My father goes to 3 other doctors too non of those doctors have done that the entire time that he had problem with his insurance they made sure he is getting his medication. This is absurd. You should not risk patient live. And not to mention they have been paid by my fathers insurance for all of the visits. But still they refuse to send his blood pressure prescription to the pharmacy.

Aris Grigorians NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!! Dr. Khojayan, Most of your bad reviews are about your STAFF and our own experience is exactly the same, they’re so careless and not following up their patients needs. My parents are very sick and imagine they have to go to the office just to force your staff to send their medications to the pharmacy because asking that on the phone doesn’t work and this is just a simple example of all other major issues. I’ll definitely change my parent’s physician soon!!

J Berberian Dr. Khojayan is a true physician. He is an amazing caring man who has dedicated himself to patient care. He was there for my mother though thick and thin especially her most needed times and because of his care she lived many years more than anyone had expected. Our entire family goes to him and he is amazing. His office is very busy for good reason because he is caring for so many people. So have some patience and know you’re in good hands.

Tina Baghdasaryan I have been taking my grandma to Dr Khojayan for years, however, recently, it has been a struggle to contact the office. No one ever answers the phone or calls back. I had to wait 3 weeks to hear back after calling 5 times to get MRI readings and report. Office stuff has changed so that changed everything. Otherwise, he is an amazing doctor, very tentative to his patients.

Stevie Palmer Great doctor but this place overcharges and there is no way to dispute charges. Constantly getting false addresses and phone numbers. Were now in collections having to fight an overcharge. Going round in circles. Be warned. They will overcharge you and you have zero way to challenge it

Monique and one other employee so unprofessional can’t even describe how they talk. They wore a mask for a long time brain cells are dead unfortunately! I feel bad that an amazing Dr. has to work with such unprofessional and rude team!

Elizabeth Coro I’ve never felt more neglected by a doctor before. He’s overbooked. He couldn’t remember anything about me or our previous conversations. It was like meeting for the first time every single visit. He missed my last two visits before the baby, then missed the birth and missed the post visit. Horrible, neglectful, in it for the number of patients and nothing else.

Shushanik Arzumanyan Has been his patient for 1 year and visited him multiple times. I had a large ovarian cyst and he didn’t see that. He kept saying everything was ok. I changed my doctor and from the first appointment they saw the cyst and all the problems. I asked him a question during the visit and dr Valdes told me you should ask that question to tour fertility doctor because I am not making money on that. I was shocked. So he is just happy to help the patients that are already pregnant so he can collect money from Insurance every 3 weeks. And he is not willing or capable of helping patients with problems. Not professional at all and very rude when you ask too many questions.

Anna asatryan Based on my experiences Pre COVID-19 The office is always busy. Expect a minimum or 30 minute wait time. I have also run into issues with being skipped when I was still sitting there waiting (2.5 hours). Front desk also tried to cancel my appointment because I was 10 minutes late, mind you it was a one time event during my whole pregnancy. When I clearly had to wait over 30 Minutes almost every appointment i dont see how a ten minute tardy could throw them off so badly, anyway. I chose doctor Valdez because he was recommended by a friend. My initial experience with him was very pleasant, he seemed to care for me genuinely. Throughout my appointments things went well, he wasnt overly warm, but he was professional enough for me to be confident in my decision to have him lead me in such an important journey (first pregnancy). So why the one star, as far as prenatal visits go my only complain is that I dont have a single decent ultrasound( not a big deal now, since I can take all the pictures I want. But at the time it bothered me to not have any clear images before birth) The doctor deserves a one star because when it came time for my delivery he dropped in and informed me "I have plans tonight, I cannot come back for you." (While I am in labor, he managed to turn the most exciting and nervous day of my life into an argument). That was not the last of it, then he went on to bicker with my family who were there to support me. He pretty much wanted to do whatever to get to his plans and when I disagreed he decided he doesnt want me to come back as his patient. Guess what, I dont want you as my doctor at this point. I ended up giving birth with the on call doctor and he did not even stop by to apologize for his diva behavior. If you want to have any say in your physical care and be able to make a choice regarding your own body you should stay away from him. He does not like to be challenged whatsoever. Oh and he shamed me because I took epidural after I refused his plans to speed up my labor for his own convenience. All in all, during the brief time of my labor where he was my doctor he did things without clearly communicating what he was doing and was more concerned with structuring his schedule. He did find time to come quarrel though with a first time mom on her labor bed. Very disappointing!!!

Eugene Saint The best primary care physician!!! Dr. Protacio is never dismissive including NP Rose who works closely with him. They totally listen and are very detailed with their assessments, they treat you like family, the encounter is never rushed. Scheduling is easy and a request for expedited scheduling is accommodated when necessary. Kudos also to their office staff (Julie) who is always a delight to talk to, has excellent patient service and highly dependable.

martha blaise I don’t have anything against Dr Protacio. A very good MD but not his office staff. I understand that everytime we go there it’s really a long wait but when my mother has to go there for a ff up due to hospitalization. Her appointment was 0900 and I asked a favor from the staff via text if my mother could be seen first because she has an appointment at 1000. When we checked in, again I reminded them that we have to leave 9:40. We waited in the room but no MD or NP went to see my mom. I asked the lady staff and she said NP hasn’t arrived yet but patients were called in before us and I could here from the room next to us a female voice talking to the patient which I am pretty sure that’s the NP. We left the office without any words from them, in short my mother wasn’t seen by MD or NP. First time to asked a favor because my mother has another appointment, but that favor was ignored. Hope this office will not claim MD visit to my mother’s insurance because no follow up was done.

Dylan G Frias I brought my niece to this clinic. Dr. Protacio was not available, so, she was seen by the NP, Ms. Sarrah. Ms. Sarrah was very soft spoken and approached us with respect. She explained the care and medicine that my niece needed. Ms. Sarrah told us to call the office if there were concern. The new clinic is very clean and more inviting than the old one. I brought my daughter to her routine check-up, the staff is friendly and they do their job, but "the doctor" I dont know where she got her degree, she has 0 professionalism and doesnt know how to deal with a child, she yelled at me and pushed me because I didnt let her mistreat my daughter, I just stood up and left, I plan to look for a lawyer, I would never return to this place.

Jay H Love both Doctors but the MAs/staff are very unorganized and rude! They have called me multiple times giving wrongful information stating that my child s file has been faxed over to who knows whose office but directly gave me my childs name and birthday and stated at our request! I was in complete shock stating that I have not requested no file transfer. They argued after I have repeatedly and told him that I had not made such a request.. They have different staff but continue with the same issues. This is just one of many unpleasant experiences with the staff. I have given the office multiple chances due to the fact that it is convenient for me and Dr Sheila and her son are amazing but unfortunately we will probably be in search of a new office soon.

Bambi Heather Black I am so happy that I had a place close to the place I was living for so long. Also I am happy about the honesty and treatment that I have gotten from her and her son they are so sweet and insightful. I also appreciate her honesty about the booster and COVID vaccines.

Karo Hovhannisyan Terrible office change to another doctor before using them after a ACL tear in my knee and going to the emergency two days in a row they told me my primary doctor has to give me a MRI form I call there office and they tell me they might be able to get me in around a month or more to see the doctors and if I have a problem with that I should transfer to another doctor this place is a joke

Horrible service, receptionist is so rude, I call complaining about an emergency i’m having and instead of being caring and understanding she starts giving me attitude and being rude Like are you serious? How am i supposed to feel welcome and want to come when your receptionist is being rude. On top of that, I told them about the issue i’m having and how the hospital told me to get an authorization as fast as possible for the health concern i’m having and she tells me “that’s not how it work here honey, you need an appointment and the next available is end of next month” MIND YOU i told them i have a note from the emergency department stating that the authorization is urgent. Stay as FAR away from this place as you can if you want to stay alive. Go see any other doctor BUT them. Horrible horrible and horrible. get some better receptions and doctors.

Imma This was my first visit. Prior to the visit, I was prompted to confirm the appointment three times, once over the phone, then over email and again over text message. I also exchanged emails with a representative to confirm that the Nurse Practitioner would be comfortable assessing some of my concerns, since the doctor wouldnt be available. I was in front of the office door at exactly 2:10 PM. My appointment was made for 2 PM. No one answered the door when I knocked. Some patients eventually left and I was able to get in while the door was open. By that time it was 2:12--2:13. There was no one at the front desk, I walked in and a worker was taken aback to see me. She said they were closed and that they allow 15 minutes before canceling the appointment and it was 2:15 already, it was NOT 2:15. Then the front desk receptionist comes out and asks if this is an emergency and that the nurse can see me if it is. I say that I dont need to go to the ER or Urgent Care, but I got time off work and made sure to be here. She said shell "talk to the nurse." Then she left and there was whispering for a while. She comes back and hands me paperwork to fill out. At this point Im pretty shocked. Being made to feel an "inconvenience" at a first visit to this office was a major red flag. But I start filling out the paperwork anyway. Another worker passes by and the receptionist asks "Can you take her blood? Because so-and-so is gone already". At this point Im on page 3 of the form and I say and Im sorry, but Im uncomfortable being here and I will not be taking this appointment now. Everybody was already on their phones and ready to leave the office when I arrived. No appointment should be made for 2PM if the office clearly closes AT TWO. Horrible experience. Absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. The staff is always a clear representation of the practice as a whole, and Im very disappointed that this doctor allows his office to run this way.

Eileen M Comically bad. Reported them to the CA Osteopathic Medical Board for flagrant HIPAA violations. Those are patient medical charts lying out in the open. This office and the clowns that work here are a joke. You will never see the actual doctor associated with this practice (Zamorano) but medical students or nurse practitioners. They are always running at least two hours behind schedule. I chose this office because its close to my home, but these are low quality people and I wish I left the practice sooner.

DJD Ill start off with they are very disorganized. Ive now switched to a different PCP, but as I switched, LA Care asked why and I explained that Ive gotten blood drawn here for lab purposes and tests and at least 4 times they had me come back to redo them because they lost/couldnt figure out where my results were or my labs didnt get done correctly. Sometimes I went to get blood drawn within the same week which isnt the most fun. I also had an experience with Dr. Zamorano just flat out asking if I had a partner who was abusing me. With no sensitivity at all. I did not have an abusive partner either, but the way he asked made me VERY uncomfortable. I relayed this info to LA CARE and the Glendale Memorial responded with never losing labs, saying last time I went there in 2021 which is not true (I was there last year 2023. Might be because they are disorganized) and that I cancelled appointments a lot (When THEY would forget to call me with telehealth appointments. I had to call them to tell them no one called or followed up and they would apologize). The people working in the office were generally nice, but it hardly helped when I was always frustrated with my health experience and their disorganization. I dont recommend.

Francis Otanez This is so far the most unprofessional medical office I have ever been to. I found out I was pregnant the week before Christmas so I immediately called the office to go and have some blood work since I used the home pregnancy tests. (Just wanted to confirm) They told me I didnt need an appt, just to go as a walk in. So I did... Once I got to the office, the nurse said she couldnt do it because I needed to have a lab request. I explained to her I had previously called and told her the conversation I had with the receptionist. After explaining myself several times, she agreed to do the blood work. Once she was done, she mentioned the results will be delayed because of the holidays but they will give me a call as soon as they receive it and the authorization to see my OBGYN will be send out as well. It has been more than 3 weeks now and no one has called me to give me an update on the authorization nor to give me the test results. I called the office yesterday and the girl said the results are positive but theres no authorization on record. She said she was going to check my chart and will call me back later..... I am still waiting for her call. This is beyond unacceptable and I will definitely file a complaint with the MBC.
