Amanda Keppel Absolute worst office and dermatologist ever. The dermatologist was quick to cut me off in my concerns, and was super quick to prescribe creams. I got prescribes 4 or 5 creams in one quick 10 minute visit. He told me there was nothing to do about some of my concerns and only burnt off half of the patches on my hand leaving the other half untreated. To be frankly honest I dont know how some of these people got hired. Trying to make an appointment is near impossible and the staff is just overall super rude.

Frank Escobar I recently had the privilege of visiting the Palm Springs Skin and Cancer Institute, and I am delighted to share my experience with you. From the moment I walked through their doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for the exceptional care I received throughout my visit. First and foremost, the expertise of the medical staff at the Skin and Cancer Institute is truly commendable. The doctors and specialists are highly knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for their patients. They took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, thoroughly examined my skin, and provided me with a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plan. The facility itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Another Horrible experience, and it cost me time and money. If I could give zero stars I would. I scheduled an appointment, showed up 20 minutes early and the door was locked when I got there. I called them and I sat on hold for five minutes. When I finally talked to somebody, they told me the provider didn’t show up. I asked them why I drove all the way there and took time off work for this appointment and they couldn’t notify me and their response was we didn’t have your number on file, which I know I provided it and it’s included in my insurance information. Zero apologies and they said I just need to drive to La Quinta instead. This place is not run well at all and it’s a waste of time. Definitely go someplace else.

Annetta Garrett Initially I was hoping everything will be fine. The doctor listened and gave recommendations. Once I left I realized there was little to no follow-up. The staff was not very accommodating. They would cut me off mid conversation while requesting verification information. I was also told that the staff was "too busy" to address concerns. I was told I would get a call back at the end of the day but didnt receive it. I hope this is not the standard to receive care. Very rude and unpleasant as well as unprofessional. Its really sad. Definitely would not recommend.

Clyde MacLeod They sent a lab specimen out to a lab not covered by my insurance (which I had no way of knowing -- and I received a bill for 5x the normal rate), staff admitted their mistake but management will not respond to faxed and emailed requests to deal with the issue. PS: Complained to state regulatory agency, months later they eventually forced HealthNet to eat the overage. Never had a response from Advanced Dermatology.

Jordan Knight Dr. Gundry has been treating me and my entire family for over a decade. He has made us all healthier and I would put money on it that he is also adding decades to our lives! Yes, he does sell a lot of supplements- but honestly he makes good products. He provides so much information for free, he deserves to make a buck! This man is an encyclopedia and continues to learn and research to this day.

Melody S. I reached out to Dr. Gundrys office in July to help me with the aftermath of chemo. For the past 18 months, I have been battling stage three cancer and its toll on my body. My decision was influenced by his ad on Instagram, with promising solutions for inflammation and gut issues. Debbie, from his office emailed that a series of blood draws and labs would be required, for a cost of $1300 to $1600 which my insurance would not cover. The email listed two labs for me to contact, with a specific directive not to use Quest or Lab Corp. Tracy Brown from LL Labs called me, an entity not mentioned in the email, to schedule an appointment for an out of pocket fee. I was left perplexed as to how they acquired my contact, considering privacy laws. I soon learned that Laurie Acuna, the founder of LL Labs, is also an employee in Dr. Gundrys office. On 9/19 When Laurie arrived at my home, she did not use the vials provided by the lab companies. Instead, she took all the boxes containing the vials, which raised concerns about the handling of my medical information. On 10/2, Luz at Dr. Gundrys office emailed me, stating that the test called Myeloperoxidase (MPO) needed to be retested, as the phlebotomist had failed to provide a sample, requesting that I go to Quest for the redraw. When I contacted Tracy at LL Labs, she appeared displeased and promptly ended the conversation. On 10/5, I received an email from Susan Lokken, Dr. Gundrys office manager, saying that the error lay not with the phlebotomist but rather with Cleveland, for losing the vial. Once again, I reached out to Tracy at LL Labs, and her response was terse and unhelpful. I explained that shortly I would be undergoing two challenging surgeries, all while battling pneumonia. She agreed to send Laurie back for one vial of blood, albeit at a very high additional cost, which took me by surprise. I left a message for Dr. Gundrys office to try to resolve this issue. On 10/18, the day after my mastectomy, I received an email from Jessenia P. in Dr. Gundry’s office, asking me to go to Quest for the blood draw. In response, over email, I expressed my disappointment, explaining that the purpose of paying LL Labs was to avoid the long lines at a lab. I subsequently received an email from Susan Lokken, Dr. Gundrys office manager informing me, "there was no mistake made and no one failed". She said I had high potassium levels in my blood sample so they could not run the (MPO) test." She emphasized that this was not LL Labs fault. I encountered three different explanations for the missing vial of blood. Only two weeks prior, Ms. Lokken had emailed me that the Cleveland Lab had most likely lost the vial of blood. At every juncture, the priority seemed to be protecting their colleague, the founder of LL Labs. Unfortunately, I had no recourse with LL Labs, given that it is a family-run enterprise, leaving no avenue for addressing grievances. Ms. Lokken informed me that she was the only office manager for Dr. Gundrys practice and asserted that nothing unethical had occurred. She firmly defended LL Labs, and declared they did "NOTHING" wrong and there was nothing more to discuss, essentially dismissing my concerns. She further accused me of impoliteness toward staff, a matter that left me perplexed, as the majority of my interactions with Dr. Gundrys office occurred through email due to difficulties reaching anyone by phone. It is a familiar tactic, often employed by unprofessional office staff when faced with patient concerns - attempting to deflect the issue by blaming the patient for being abusive. I am left with concerns about the treatment of patients in this practice. While I understand that misunderstandings occur, I believe it is important to prioritize patient care, open communication, and empathy. I question whether these principles are consistently upheld within this office. Patients who seek out Dr. Gundrys office are dealing with very difficult health issues and should receive the highest standard of care and support. Unfortunately, that is not the case here.

Joseph Ramos I had major issues for about a year and a half. I had already read all Dr. Gundrys books and was following his mainstream advice so I thought going to his actual practice might be the answer. It took about 6 months to actually get to meet him in person. The office staff were nice to me and I had no issues there. When I looked at the other patients there, most seemed overweight and just generally not that healthy. I felt like 90% of them could have just read the plant paradox and fixed themselves. My only gripe with the doctor is that he treats leaky gut exclusively as a root cause when for me it was actually a symptom. All the advice he gave was valid though and I got some good insights into my bloodwork. I stopped seeing him after I realized he couldnt resolve my problem and am leaving this review now only because a year and a half later another doctor actually did find and resolve my issue. To most people Id say save your time and money and just read his books. If you have an auto immune condition that seems only to stay at bay by eating clean but never actually goes away I wouldnt look to conventional or functional medicine for the solution. The good news is youre at least not going to get bad advice or misdiagnosed as Ive seen with other doctors. I have great reverance and respect for the doctor, just docking 1 star as he wasnt able to resolve my paticular issue.

Barbara Ellis Doctor Gundrys program has changed my life is my life. I know more have achy joints I no more have heartburn and indigestion and I have more energy than ever. He does not push his products in fact there are some that he recommends from Costco . All the people who say its a scam they ought to try it 1st Before they start making false accusations.

Maureen Warkentine Dr. Steven Gundry is the Doctor I have searched my entire life for, and thats 70 plus years. My wish was to find an excellent physician who believes in prevention via nutrition vs pharmaceutical prescriptions. He is a brilliant Doctor, and if possible an even better researcher. He has written over 300 medical papers and continues with his in depth research. I dont know how anyone can dispute the scientific research done by this great Doctor and his peers. My husband and I have been on his Protocol for 7 months and our health is completely turning around. The supplements he recommended to us have improved all of our cholesterol numbers, we are no longer Pre-Diabetic and the very best is how we feel- which is fantastic. A Bonus has been the lost weight too. I am so grateful for Dr. G

Mental health services are also available and strongly recommend whether youve considered it or not? Cant hurt, I say. Has helped me tremendously in staying sober and creating structure in my life. (Not sure if PS location offers this also?) Great place, too, though.

Nancy Stevens I am a disabled person in a wheelchair who has lived in and received care at a local nursing home. I went to see dr Quinones (I should’ve read all past reviews on her at past locations of practice before seeing this provider) she yelled at me practically the whole time, repeating that she’s a Dr and doesn’t need me to talk bc she knows everything. She kept saying she’s a patient advocate and I’m not an advocate (belittled me most of the long appt) I kept asking to leave to file a complaint or speak with her supervisor and ask for a change of provider, but she laughed at me and told me she is the supervisor of the building, and to turn around and look at her. I cried 90% of the visit, kept telling me aggressively to look at her while she was talking, told me to look at the screen when I could t read one single word on the screen,, and she refused to sign any of my DMV placard, TRIP program for the disabled, or FMLA paperwork, would not let me explain anything about my very rare diseases that can attack every part of my body inside and out, stating she already knew everything about these diseases, she yelled at me to hang up the phone over and over, and poked me again and again pretty hard in my arm to tell me to hang it up, told me I don’t need anyone in my appointment with me. She said my mom is scamming the system by being one of my essential caregivers because she lives out of state, when it doesn’t matter where the essential caregiver lives. She told me to be quiet when I said she was inputting inaccurate medical symptoms. When I told her that my mom works as a claims adjuster for insurance and that I’m an advocate in the disability p, aging, and long term care sector, she did a complete 180, and dint continue telling me to hang up with my mom and talked on call with my mom, my mom had to defend herself saying she was not going to get any money from any govt agency, and stated that she helps with both mental and physical health needs. The provider still never let me speak unless I was answering her questions. She asked me some of the names of my orgs, then left the room, when she came back she held the exam room door open and I saw someone’s leg of a person standing outside the door. The only time she was calm or what resembled nice was the last 5 min. She asked me if I went to college or not. I told her no. She wrote in my moms portion of her FMLA when I asked her not to, she said just be quiet she knows wheat she is doing. She told me to tell her what to put down in her portion of the paperwork where it talked about my diseases in the last two min of my appointment, which was the opposite of what she kept saying prior…that she knows everything about my diseases when she kept telling me to stop talking, just let her talk. I don’t remember medical transport taking me home, and when I got back home to my nursing home, I was not able to move an inch and lost 5 hours from the retraumatization of CPTSD. The nurse was comforting when she came in at the very end after provider left. I won’t talk about that though. She has to deal with the provider at work. Provider came back to hand me her business card in front of nurse, and said “incase you need my full name”

Kiela Maldonado Horrible experience, I waited over 2 months to get an appointment, and I didn’t even want one with them, but had to get it in order to receive a referral to a specialist. I was given an appointment through video and I logged in 20 minutes before the appointment and no one ever showed up. Now the office is closed and I never received a call or notice at all. Horrible terrible office.

Sunny Rakes I came here from nor cal, in the process of finding housing but currently homeless. I went in to the urgent care which was in the dental area? And got seen quickly, but was treated absolutely horrific. I came to get 2 refills on both medications Ive been on for 4+ years... non narcotic. A face cream and an anti anxiety/mental health medication... the Dr. S. Talib, came in extremely rude with his first comments being that the medications arnt right for me and that I was probably prescribed it by a dr that just wanted me out of the office. Then proceeds too basically tell me Im lieing (when I had my empty bottle with me) saying he doesnt know if Im being honest, tells me he doesnt have my medical records, do i have them with me? Why dont I have them with me? I let him know I dont carry around my medical records. I am in the process of moving and just need my regulars... he told me he was not going to give me that dose, and questioned why I have the face cream telling me thats not correct either. In the middle he freaked out saying I was recording him and went on a rant for minutes when I immediately showed him I wasnt recording. Then tells me why didnt you just go to the ER? I told him it wasnt an emergency I just needed the meds... he then tells me hes making me an appointment for a regular psychiatrist and dermatologist cuz what Im on isnt right. The entire time Im holding back tears, he proceeds to tell me I have an attitude that he doesnt like. I did everything I could just to leave this place... I came out crying my eyes out feeling way worse then when I came in which I was having a full blown anxiety attack prior to even going in due to not having my medications. He ended up booking an appointment for a primary December 24th (its October 29th) while giving me 7 days of medications that arnt even the correct dose... I have no clue what this was but it was the worst urgent care experience Ive ever had and I do not plan on returning. Ever. Its extremely sad that people go to doctors hoping for help and get treated so horribly without anything being done to reprimand the doctor. So it just continues to hurt people and scare them away from getting the help they need so they live in suffering. We wonder why the world is how it is. If your in a position of power it doesnt mean you are above someone or can belittle them to make yourself feel better. Especially if theyre coming to you for help. You could end up pushing someone over the edge so they take their own life. You never know what someone is going through. I hope something is done about this quack because this was disgusting and something I truly did not need to experience. Let alone anyone.

Mike S This address is incorrect. The clinic is located at 415 SOUTH Palm Canyon Drive, NOT East. This causes an issue because if the link to this clinic listed on the Eisenhower Medical Centers website is clicked, it shows this large clinic 6 blocks farther south along Palm Canyon where this main street changes from SOUTH to EAST (it makes an "L" and heads EAST. This error could cause people to go to the private residence looking for their doctor, making them late, etc. Its the only EAST address in the entire area where the others all show SOUTH, so obvious error.

Susan Robbins It was 21yrs in October since I became a patient at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. I had breast cancer 21yrs ago and I had a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. I received wonderful treatment and care. Ive never stopped being a patient and see an oncologist every 6 months and have all my screenings and scans done there. My breast cancer returned last year and it was diagnosed at an early stage. I chose to have a mastectomy. Again, wonderful care and treatment. When youve been a continuous patient somewhere for 21yrs, you get a very strong feeling for the place. I feel no fear when I enter the building. I know Im going to receive the best treatment possible and that puts my mind at ease.

James Davis Everything about this center is a nightmare especially doing simple things like an MRI, making an appointment, switching an appointment and finding a direct phone number is impossible. I have been connected to tech support, maintenance and even had appointments that are confirmed not be there on the same day. Twice Ive reached a recording that says, “please enter your mailbox number. What? Today was 5 calls for a total of 50 minutes. What a mess.

Nancy Moynihan I have had excellent care at every visit. Professional, compassionate and comprehensive. I’ve never felt rushed and have always had my concerns taken seriously and my questions answered. I have been treated for cancer at a top notch large medical center in the Midwest and I like the small setting and friendly people I’ve met here. From the men & women who valet my car (free valet service) to the upstairs receptionist, phlebotomist, nurses, therapists and wonderful doctors. I feel well taken care of and supported here. Thank you Comprehensive Cancer Center!

v c My heart goes out to the patients here, the lack of professionalism from certain physicians that have no empathy and are quick to speak poorly about their own patients, nurses with egos that are combative and most definitely incompetent management that stirs up the drama filled days here, all while patients care suffers due to lack of responsibility. Treatment nurses are great, others not so much. Corporate Needs to do some spring cleaning. I would rather have my family seen at Eisenhower. And by the way some of the reviews are from staff like the very last one Teresa whipple who is main management who is supposed to be overseeing, but obviously doesnt do her job!

Also, when your doctor leaves the practice at that facility, they don’t notify you that your primary doctor has left. They need to work on communication with your patient letting me know you don’t have a doctor there anymore to me. That’s patient like Abandonment. they need to retrain all their staff and communicate way better than they do now

I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who lives in the area. I’ve had very bad experiences with other dental offices and their staff members where they just seem so miserable and are very rude. This dental office staff go above and beyond to meet you needs! Not only that they are on top of appointment reminders as well. Trust me if you have had any bad experiences in the past with dental offices. This dental office will change your way of trust towards dental offices!

Bob Hope I got new insurance and selected DAP for my primary care physician. It took me 6 phone calls, 3 visits to their physical location and 22 days before I could see my new doctor. Most of the 6 calls were due to the DAP staff actively trying to withhold information from me, so I had to keep calling over and over again to get simple answers. And I had to drive over multiple times because they continued to repeatedly refuse to tell me very basic information. After I realized that the staff was happy to go out of their way to NOT convey information to me, Ive lost confidence in the organization. It was made very clear to me that the staff of DAP doesnt care about about me, my health, or my time. So after only one appointment with my new doctor, Im changing doctors once again.

Basically cant see blood and dont know what is normal. For your own safety, do not see these people.

RIA BOUTTIER DONT BOTHER. My whole pregnancy I felt rushed through every appointment. Towards the end I was told to come in every week for Non Stress Test, at which point they tried to charge me $195 each visit ($65 copay x3) so another $800 the last month of my pregnancy they said because I was also seeing a nurse and the Dr for these apts. (Wasn’t that the case every other appointment?) When I called my insurance to see if this was correct they told me no, I should only pay my regular copay, and I refused to pay the next time they asked me. I never heard anything from my insurance that I would owe anything extra for those visits. It seemed really shady like they were trying to make extra money off me. When I asked which Dr would be delivering my baby they said whoever was on duty, they didn’t ever tell me that none of the Drs from this practice actually deliver across the street at Desert Regional where I was sent for an induction. So imagine my surprise when I go do deliver my baby via (ended up emergency c section) with OBGYNs I’ve never seen before. The icing on the cake was when I asked to get some paperwork filled out so my sister could take FMLA leave to come help me with the baby 3 weeks after c-section when my husband had to go back to work. They said NO that I did not need help since I didn’t have complications. I emailed and called repeatedly to speak to whoever made this decision and was told they wouldn’t talk to me about it. I had to find another doctor to see me and sign saying I had a c-section which is an 8 week minimum recovery. To get my maternity leave papers signed I was told I would have to physically bring them in and pick them up AND pay $25 for the luxury of having them fill it out. I live an hour away and after much protesting was finally able to get them to accept an email copy of the forms. I still had to pay $25. The whole thing was so stressful dealing with postpartum, c section recovery, and a newborn I was in tears multiple times. Finally my 6 week postpartum appointment I waited 45 minutes with a newborn in the waiting room, then once I saw the Dr she looked at my scar for two seconds, asked if I had any issues and had me swab myself. Never said anything about returning to exercise or sex, no information on c section recovery past that point. Nothing. Everything I learned I looked up myself. AND that was when they split the office in half and the other half of the waiting room and exam rooms are now a foot and ankle clinic. If you have any other option go there. I did not have a good experience with them and I’m going to look for care elsewhere now.

J. Denise Juarez I had an amazing experience with the Palm Springs office. I started to come here when my husband and I wanted to get pregnant. We wanted to make sure I was fertile and take the correct steps to get pregnant. They recommended blood work and ultrasound to see how fertile I am. Chelsea, the PA is such an amazing provider. She really sees you more than a patient and doesn’t leave the room until all your questions are answered. Once we got pregnant, every medical assistant that took care of us was super nice and friendly. I work in a doctor’s office myself and the receptionist was nice enough to work on my appointments first thing in the morning. Our daughter came early and Dr. Benitez caught what was going on with my pregnancy right away. I believe they took the correct precautions for my daughter and I. I met Dr. Pacini in the hospital and she let me know what was the birth plan right away. Dr. Hassan took over and was also on the same page and took her time to answer any questions before she was born. After birth she still came around to check on me and make sure I was doing okay before discharging me. My husband and I are very satisfied with this team. If and when we get pregnant again, we will definitely come back here.

Debra Nau Highly recommend Dr. Pacini!! I recently had surgery with Dr. Pacini and she was wonderful. She gave me stretches to do prior to surgery to prepare me so that it wasnt so hard on my body and was there well in advance of the procedure and spent a great deal of time talking to me about what she would be doing. A+ and very professional. Shes a very sweet person too! Every time I go into the office to see her, theres never a long wait and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Anthony Marshall The front desk girls and the Medical assistant (Melissa) were great! All greeted me with a smile. Melissa took my vitals and asked me questions about my symptoms and how long have I had them I explained that I just got over the cold a week in a half ago. Then I had got a sinus infection with a small cough, runny and stuffy nose, and a small sore throat. She asked about any headaches or fevers and Im like nope any pain and Im like nope. And she says ok let do your vitals and vitals came out great no fever nothing. Then the Dr came in shortly after he comes and sees me sitting on that bed with paper on it because thats where the patient usually sits. And I was like youre here to see me. Right off the bat I knew this doctor wasnt going to treat me for any of the symptoms Im having. He then begins to ask what are your symptoms and began explaing all my symptoms. Keep in mind Im not having any flu or covid like symptoms at all. He automatically assumed it was ok to test me for it. He didnt like in my throat or use the stesiscope to listen to my breathing he didnt feel around my glans if they were puffy nothing. He then proceeded to say so when has the symptoms worsen and I was like worsen i didnt say that my symptoms are not all that bad just regular sinus infection with a bit of a sore throat, small cough, and runny/stuffy nose thats. No pain and I was like I told you no pain no headaches no fevers. Hes like well Im treating you as covid and Im like Im telling you its not because wouldve have come sooner. Just test me for strep throat he says no Im testing you for covid and strep through because thats what it is. I then found out by the Pharmacy that I got pain medication not medication for my sinus infection. Never coming here again!!!!!!

Sasha Some of the best, empathic, experienced doctors/PA I’ve ever come across. The CMA/front desk are more so nonchalant/ doing their job plainly. But the doctors actually listen to you. Literally instead of going to my primary I come here. I’m planning to visit again because they know of all my ailments compared to my primary. Hopefully I can get a referral.

AJ Im an American citizen, and never have I been asked so many times by their staff if I speak English. I was in pain. Therefore, I wasnt speaking. I was given the medication info in English and a separate copy in Spanish. Very rude staff.

Virgo I wish we could choose negative stars or 0 star. If you love your family member please keep them out of this place. I remember taking my father for his appointment with this guy that calls himself a Dr and he is not only rude but has no patience, does not listen to his patient, laughs about the persons health state and is always in a rush. Switch to a good Dr.

Monica Castillo I am extremely grateful to have Dr. Ayoub as my physician. I appreciate how his persistence detected a health issue that could have lead to cancer. He immediately referred me out to the appropriate specialist and monitored my care with this issue for over a year. His diligence resulted in surgery within a few months versus over a year as recommended by another doctor. I have been his patient for many years. He is definitely a no nonsense person and I can see how that personality is not for everyone. Especially those patients that want to be nurtured and coddled. If you are seeking that, then its best you keep searching for another doctor. This doctor is definitely competent, firm, and loving in his unique way! Speaking of unique, he has the coolest office I have ever visited! Thank you Dr. Ayoub for your awesome care. Youre the best despite what these 1 star people say. Too sensitiveeeeeeee, get over it!!!

Shahram Farshadfar Its a madhouse. Politically chared and emotionally triggered doctor and staff. Dedicated to the big pharma. I used to go get b12 shots there. Then I walked out. I would not walk in that office if my life depended on it.

Joe Told me I had "pre diabetes" based on a blood sugar test. Told me I had "pre copd" and prescribed an inhaler. Told me if I didnt schedule appointments every two months that he wouldnt see me at all. What a jerk!...I went to Desert Oasis HC and they did tests for all of his "diagnosis" and turns out, Im perfectly healthy! This guy should be disciplined and restricted from practice. I wrote my complaints to his "group practice" and heard nothing in return. Avoid him at all costs.

Sarge S WOW! What a poor excuse of a Dr. From walking in to walking out, I was dumbfounded by this man. I was expected to show my vaccination card, which I did and wore my mask as I was instructed to do by the signs all over his office however, Dr. Ayoub didnt wear one at all. That was just the beginning. In all my 50+ yrs. I have never been to a doctor who berated me as this man did. He cared more about name dropping than the reason I was there. NEVER AGAIN! I should have read ALL the reviews before making my appointment.

Alina I LOVE this hospital. I had my son here 7 years ago and just got out of surgery for gallbladder removal yesterday. The Nurse Ellen I think her name is? Shes from Ireland and shes the sweetest, most patient, gentle and understanding person. Shes so genuine and sweet, Im so glad she picked this field of work because we do need people like her working in these facilities. I was so comfortable and taken care of the entire time. Procedure was fast and thorough. I just wish the doctor gave me a little more information about my recovery and medicine for post-opp. But everything else went well. Everyone there was friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you all.

Karley E Worst experience of my life. If I could give zero stars, I would. I went to the emergency room at Desert Regional and had a terrible experience from the start. This wasn’t even my first attempt at getting care—I had been there the night before, and a registration staff member named Teresa told me there would be a four-hour wait without even taking down my information. When I returned, the registration process was just as awful. The staff was rude, and one employee, Cuenta, even yelled at me, accusing me of “making faces” at her. I was completely exhausted—I hadn’t slept in three days and was in severe pain. I had no idea what “faces” she was talking about because I was barely holding myself together. When I asked for help, Supervisor Evelyn Ortega came over, not to resolve the issue, but to defend her staff. She told me they needed proof of insurance because Kaiser “sometimes doesn’t pay them.” That made no sense—I’ve never had billing issues at any other facility. She also stated that Desert Regional isn’t contracted with Kaiser and suggested I drive an hour to Eisenhower, a Kaiser-contracted facility. Why would I do that when my workplace is just five minutes away? Instead of helping, she made things worse. She stressed me out by talking about medical bills I might have to pay if Kaiser didn’t cover the visit. I originally came in for chest and back pain but left with even more anxiety and frustration. And let’s be real—I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was more than just a billing issue. Yes, I’m a brown girl, but I’m also an educated brown girl. The way I was treated felt less about policy and more about prejudice. The disrespect, the lack of basic human decency, and the dismissive attitude I received were unacceptable. It’s unfortunate that the front desk staff is so horrible because the doctors and actual nurses were really kind. They were the only bright spot in this entire experience.

The nurses in the ER were very kind and professional. He got sent to the PCU and nurse Cody and Susie took care of him and they were both so wonderful! They make you feel seen, heard and taken care of. They even care about the patients visitors. I was truly impressed with the nurses, they deserve a raise! Thank you Cody and Susie for such great care!

Christian Office staff is extremely rude and unprofessional and act like your bothering them when you ask a question! Also refused to see my child as an emergency walk in when she had a rash... They told us go to the ER if we needed an emercency visit because they dont do walkins or emergencies... Plus they said the other doctor (Dr. Cohen) in the office wont see babies under the age of 18 months...

Vita Lusty He tried to diagnose my baby as jaundice on her 2nd day of life. He said she was turning yellow. I didnt see any yellow. He said she had to go on formula. We were breastfeeding just great and we dont eat dairy, so I wanted to avoid formula. Then I was told 75% of babies born at Hi-Desert have jaundice. That seems like over-diagnosis to me. I asked to see the bilirubin chart. She was not in a crisis area. He refused to talk to me about the chart or findings. I left against medical advice and saw his partner, Dr. Cohen, in the next few days. He said there was no evidence of jaundice.

corinne elverd I saw Dr. Musch as a child when he was practicing in Baraboo, Wi. He was by far the sweetest, most caring doctor I have ever seen. It was a sad day when he closed his practice and moved out of state. I would absolutely take my boys to him if he was still around.

Birna Bjornsson My daughters pediatrician retired so I was referred to Dr. Musch. Horrible experience. The staff is very unfriendly. I was asked to pay my co-payment of $45 and in cash only. I didnt have the cash and was told their credit card machine didnt work. The receptionist did not apologize for this but told me I needed to go to an ATM machine and get the cash. I did so and came back and paid. I asked for an itemized receipt so I could send to my health spending account and get reimbursed. They had never heard of a health spending account before. She wrote me a small hand written receipt for $40 (not $45). I asked again if they could mail me an itemized receipt. She did not know what that was. The office was smelly with a horrible paint job and no books or toys for the kids. I ended up asking for my cash back and walked out. Will be taking my daughter somewhere else.

Betty Bennett Lets see if this get posted? On Aug 14, 2018 at 1030am my Husband had a appointment with Dr. Shermen. He was not only unprofessional , but extremely Rude. And wanted to change my husbands heart medication without even reviewing his past medical history from his former ep cardiologist. He wrote a post and sure enough, it was never posted. I feel if this doctor did not want to see my husband for a consult, he should have said so and we would not of wasted either of our time. I have notified my husbands HMO and our family attorney concerning this matter. Lets see if this gets posted.

Suki Chelner I want to hit no star but dont have that option. Office personnel are rude and often slam the phone down in mid-confersation. This has happened numerous to not only myself but others. The person is a female who wont give out her name. Dr. Sherman was a bigger disappointment. I am very ill and this Doctor never relayed any serious test results nor returned calls. He missed serious heart problems and never even requested tests taken at the Emergency centers I was rushed to. I hear he is leaving and pray he is retiring. I cannot say or warn anyone considering seeing him or using his practice. He may be relocating to Lancaster but from this review I will be contacting lawyers. He should have his license removed....long ago. I am seriously compromised due to his lack of checking my tests or even responding to emergency calls. I have never had to write such a serious report....I can only tell anyone with an appointment to cancel it at once!!!

Hector Ramirez Scheduled an appointment mid December was given an appointment for early January. I’ve had them reschedule it a total of 4-5 times sometimes on the day of even hours prior. Today was rescheduled this morning for a later afternoon time and then they cancelled 30 min prior to appointment time and are now booked until February. Don’t waste your time with these people. Maybe you’ll get to see one of the doctors when you end up in the ER.

Annabelle Bowers I am very disappointed in the care I received. Dr. Clark contradicted the initial recommendations he and his resident gave me when I followed up and I found out by reading my online visit summaries that they put errors/incorrect information in my medical records. During my follow up, he was dismissive, incomplete, and at times incorrect regarding my medical concerns. I have worked in healthcare for over 10 years and this is one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have had personally…it makes me feel so bad for my own patients and the experiences they tell me about.

Andrew Trofka THE WORSE OFFICE STAFF EVER! I have a referral from my insurance company and Ive been trying all day to have my phone call answered. All it does is ring and ring. When someone did answer she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She said they would call me once they received the referral, and, when asked how long that would take, she said 5 to 7 business days! I called my insurance company and they said that referrals are sent electronically and shouldnt take that long. Institute of Clinical Orthopedics and Neuroscience NEEDS TO WAKE UP and realize first impressions are everything. I contacted my insurance company to get a different referral to a better Orthopedics doctor.

Desiree Anderson My mother is receiving care from this office. Or should I say lack of care. It’s impossible to get through to her doctor and the staff is rude & incompetent. The most recent problem is she was denied anxiety meds for an MRI. No reason. The staff in that area of the hospital were shocked she wasn’t given anything. She is now suffering from side effects that could have been prevented. Again, no response from the office. She is hurting and is terrified, but they refuse to help her. Please don’t come here. Find another neurologist or you will live a nightmare. Update: My 65 year old mother, previously in great health, has rapidly gone downhill. She has extreme tinunitist now, ears are blocked, vertigo that keeps her in bed half the time & horrible panic attacks. The nurse practitioner recently told her that there’s nothing they can do to help. She’s simply old. I am horrified. Due to her being a veterans wife, she has limited options on who she can see. We’re trying to find her affordable treatment elsewhere.

Kayda Herrera I am absolutely appalled by the office staff at this clinic. We have been trying for over a week to get an appointment with the neurologist that saw my husband in the neurotrauma unit after his motorcycle accident Even with the proper insurance authorization, the front office and billing department are refusing to schedule an appointment. They were actually refusing to return calls to us and our case manager and when we finally got ahold of them, they were extremely rude to the case manager. We loved Dr. Aranga when we saw him in the hospital but his clinic staffs behavior is ruining the patient experience before they ever get to the office.

I’ve seen this therapist for 8 months. No closure, no concern about me , just abruptly said she’s no longer with Desert Oasis and we will be out sourcing your care. Really this is what I pay for. Then I am placed with a therapist who doesn’t read my chart or notes and drones on about all of her experience, I’m assuming that if you’re my new therapist with Desert Oasis your qualified. She then proceeds to ask me about how my dad died ( old age) but wants to know how???? He was 90 , if I needed to talk about him I would. NO WHERE in the notes would be anything concerning my father. Again what is happening, why am I wasting my time with this woman…the lack of professionalism and organization is astonishing. I’m changing my insurance, of course, if I can . Meanwhile while I’m on hold their advertising QAULITY care, really????
