Nikki Havens The care provided by the team at UCSF during my foot surgery in October was excellent. I had never had surgery before and was quite nervous but everyone was extremely friendly and informative as well as efficient. The paperwork and post-op reports were diligent and my mom appreciated the text alert updates while I was in surgery.

jim wilson Dr. Hansen and his staff are great.respecaly Rachel. But some things went VERY wrong!! I was given sedation and dont remember being transferred to the REST home. I should have stayed longer as I was VERY Ill with Diarrhea and votinimg. I almost died within 48 hours of leaving and ENDED Up in a Second hospital for another WEEK. I also must tell about the HORRIBLE way I was treated by a black woman DR. Im sorry I wasnt given her name. Im not being racist but thats all I know is call her. Frist Im the most liberal person ever.. SHe spoke Down to me like I was an animal. She said I should be GREAT FULL that I was THEIR. Elizabeth Mendoza 3+hours, still waiting! @ Emergency room. We are the only asian in Er, mostly nurse and doctor kept passing by and no one tried to help. The nurse who initially helps my sister left for the day. Very frustrating. The male nurse who I asked for help was very rude. He said nothing he can do. We just have to wait. No compassion.!

Kenneth Garcia On vacation away from home, chest tightness with exertion meant the only decision was what hospital to immediately head to. Being in San Francisco, the clear conclusion was UCSF by far. Its reputation is stellar, but it exceeded expectations. Within a day I was stabilized, catheterized, stented, and comfortable. All the staff were exceedingly capable and effective while simultaneously interacting very person-ably. There are only a handful of top-tier health centers in this country and UCSF for cardiology certainly qualifies within the highest ranks! There is no substitute for placing yourself, during those critical health crises, in the hands of the most competent people on the planet.

Bill Baranawitz Referred to UCSF by UC DAVIS with Acute Myeloid leukemia with only a very small chance of survival after one year. Within one month they found me a bone marrow donor and within 3 months I received my transplant. I spent 2 months in the hospital across the street and another 2 months in assisted care provided by UCSF. It’s now been almost a year since my transplant and my leukemia is in complete remission. Dr. Logan and his team of doctors did an amazing job. I can’t thank them enough for saving me from this nightmare.

Janice L Ive only been coming to SFAMC for a few months, but the exceptional and meticulous service we have received for our dog Mania has left me feeling truly cared for and completely confident in their ability to provide the best care! Our dog is reactive, but they have been able to provide us with some medication so shes more calm during her visits and they never try to push or force our pet to do anything uncomfortable. They are very prompt when responding to emails and they always get back to me even for questions that require a response from the doctor. They now offer 24/7 emergency visits so making a call for a vet appointment is very easy since theyre open all day, everyday!

Jeanie Oliva We came to see Dr Polidoro in November 2023, who was highly recommended when our 4 year old pittie needed a TPLO. From the moment we made the appointment with Melissa and walked through the doors of San Francisco Animal Hospital on the day of surgery everything was seamless. Dr Polidoro is the best! He took the time to explain the process of the surgery- and Jazmin seemed to like him. Melissa called before they started surgery as promised knowing how stressed I was. Dr Polidoro called when done as promised explaining how it went not rushing me off the phone, answering all my questions. That first week after surgery was a little rough, but Dr Polidoro and the staff were so understanding and patient with me, and always responding to my calls quite quickly. Oddly enough our 2 year old lab, Shelby, ended up needing a TPLO in both legs in April and October 2024. Of course we went back to Dr Polidoro to take care of her. We knew we were going to get the same excellent care as before. We have not been disappointed. On the night of Shelby’s second surgery, Camille (surgery tech), sent us a video of Shelby, that really touched us, and helped calm my nerves about her being at the hospital overnight. We are grateful to the wonderful care given to our girls in the last year. To an amazing staff just to mention a few Melissa, Naomi, Zoe, Camille and foremost Dr Polidoro for all you have done. We are forever thankful. Jeanie, Beth, Jazmin & Shelby

Camille B If you are a pet sitter and need to bring a pet here, just tell them you’re the owner unless you want to be turned away from receiving help for the animal. Waited an hour to be turned away by the team because I couldn’t get ahold of the cat’s owner because she was on a flight. I didn’t think an emergency vet could turn away a cat that was bleeding from their head. He was attacked by something and they just said sorry we can’t treat him unless the owner gives consent. I understand legal stuff is the reasoning behind this, but they just turned me away and didn’t give me any recommendations on where to go. Luckily I got into presidio way vet hospital which is amazing and they treated him right away. Sfamc should really be better at handling situations like this. The kitty is ok now, but he was in a lot of pain and they didn’t offer any help at all.

Erica Walker I had a wonderful experience at SFAMC. My 12 year old pup had to come in for what ended up being an emergency splenectomy surgery, and it was rough for me. I love my pup so much. Dr. Moore in emergency was incredibly kind, and took the time to walk me through the tests, determining that surgery would be our best treatment. The transition to work with the surgery team was smooth, and our coordinator Melissa was kind and understanding when I was having a rough time. She communicated with me along the way, and really put me at ease when I wasn’t okay. She made it so I could visit with my little girl before she went to surgery, and that meant so much. Thank you for your kindness! Huge shout out to my dog’s surgeon, Dr. Polidoro, and for how informative and professional he was across the board. Just took my little gal home from the hospital, and focusing on helping her recover back to her sassy old self.

camila costoya My cat Matcha needed emergency surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire staff was wonderful, but I want to give special thanks to Dr. Naomi and Dr. Melissa Robertson, that was incredibly patient with me, answering all of my questions and providing excellent care throughout Matcha’s recovery, especially during the complex post-op process. Her attention to detail and compassion made a stressful situation much easier.

Robert D I had the same experience as the other man. Dr. Hassid is nice but doesn’t offer any advice beyond common sense or webMD. For my annual exam, he double charged me for both my annual and for an office visit. The insurance company told me this was a common practice from greedy doctors who know how to overcharge and immediately add office visit to annual after goading you to say something that no longer qualifies for an annual exam, like asking about acid reflux for example. Fast forward to next visit, to review annual tests- $577 additional cost for office visit. I have been to many reputable doctors in the past and never had to pay roughly $1000 for an annual exam, blood work, and a follow up appointment. This guy cares about 1 thing - money. AVOID!
1 /5
R T I had a bad experience with Dr. Hassid. I went there for annual exam which is free from Cigna - but they billed me for $393 for annual exam. His bed side manners are good but he did not provide any diagnosis for my health issues. All he does is listen and has nothing to say or offer. He just keeps ordering me for more tests and asks me to see every month. This felt like a way of making money instead of diagnosing my issues. My liver reports were not great but he said to come back one month after. My second visit to him cost $625. Even after paying this much, I never got diagnosed for my ailment. Would not recommend him.

Trista Vanta Dr Hassid has been my Primary Care Doctor since 2020 and I am glad to be in his care. He listens to everything that is of concern to me and he is diligent in making sure that I receive the treatment that I need. I have had bouts of bad health problems the past 6 months and he has been super patient and addressed all the concerns I have and referred me to equally good specialists. It’s hard to find doctors like Dr. Hassid nowadays who truly sincerely values health and the wellbeing of his patients.

Jessica Boyer Dr. Hassid is the best doctor Ive had. He is thorough, he respects each persons journey and doesnt make assumptions. He is a kind person and it is clear through his communication that he really cares about others. His office staff is also very kind and helpful. Im very grateful to be a patient in his practice

Phil Conley Hands down the best doctor I have ever had! Been going to Dr. Hassid for over 20 years. Great appointment times - usually get in same day if needed. Always spends all the time with a patient that they need - never rushes. Very thorough and caring. THE BEST!!

Bailey McClain Amazing experience, their team is sooo nice and helpful! They truly go above and beyond to help their patients. 10/10 amazing team amazing communication. They had someone giving me bi-weekly updates by email the whole process and any questions or issues I had they answered/solved it quickly and kindly! All my appointments were very informative, professional, and friendly! Unfortunately due to health reasons I had to cancel and reschedule and they were so caring and sympathetic about it and worked so hard with insurance and the hospital to get me a new surgery date a few days later which was very convenient because I live across the country and put so much time/effort/money/preparation into the trip. If I had to do it over again I would choose them every time, highly recommend!!!! I saw some bad reviews about communication issues but whatever issues they had seem to be very much resolved!

Ryan Harrington Having reached out to multiple surgical centers, I can confidently say the team at GCC is professional, kind, and compassionate. I’ve spoken with Rosy and she has been incredibly helpful and considerate when it came to my questions and scheduling. Of the surgical centers I’ve spoken to, Rosy has been the most helpful and communicative out of all the contacts. I’ve also worked with Dr. Ley in the past and highly recommend her work and commend her conduct with patients; I highly recommend Dr. Ley!

Kaiden Najera My experience has been a never ending nightmare. It is impossible to ever get past the answering service to speak to someone actually with GCC. Medications were incorrect pre-op and had to be corrected. Day of surgery, the anesthesiologist failed to intubate me correctly so I woke up without surgery. This led to having to stay in SF for an additional 8 days which is an extreme financial burden + I had to change flights and find a new caregiver. They tried to blame my anatomy for the failed intubation rather than taking responsibility. I feel confident it was not my anatomy, but a skill issue on their end because 2 months prior I had a hysterectomy with no issue. I even reached out to that surgeon to confirm there were no complications. Then the new anesthesiologist for my top surgery 8 days later told me directly it had been a skill issue with the first doctor and that he had no issue when he did it. The morning of my surgery, after having been given anxiety meds to where I could not think clearly, Dr. Facque said "Remind me what we are doing today. The nurse did not draw up a chart for you for today" as he was marking my body mere hours before surgery. Fast forward to 4 months after surgery, I received an email stating I am owed a refund. After 3 months of not ever hearing more about it, I only received the refund because I had to send an email threatening to write a negative review which I really did not want to do. Two weeks after receiving the refund check, I get a "past due" notice in the mail stating I owe GCC more money. GCC was a nightmare on all fronts-- communication, billing staff, and actual medical staff. At this point, I simply want to be done with GCC forever yet now they are claiming I owe them more money after months of physical and mental stress.

Dee Greenwood Received my surgery October 3rd and I am very pleased with my results. I am also glad that I chose Dr. Scott Mosser. Everyone in his office that I met are friendly and know what they are doing. If I had to do my surgery again I would pick this center every time. They also gave me a robe at my post op appointment and it is very comfortable. Thank you for everything.

Lance Reyna Made an appointment with office and told only offers phone consultation which seemed pointless since not even virtual zoom to have any visual when I’m specifically wanting pectoral implants. I was then told could possibly stop by office at later date to see implants but would have questions so scheduled an in person appointment. Excited to finally make progress the office calls day before saying unable to show samples of implants. Please avoid this practice as the are a complete disappointment, lack transparency, have horrible communication and do not advocate for patients. Their office manager called but then had to cancel call because of a supposed emergency. I’ve been messaging office to following up and to no surprise they avoid you like the plague. The gender confirmation center has no integrity and only cares about money, money, money. What other provider for a major surgery thinks someone in their right frame of mind will agree to a blind appointment. Heads up this appointment with Dr. Mosser was after I had attempted to see Dr. Faque who is afraid to answer basic questions so do yourself a favor and be very frank with these providers otherwise you’re going to get the go around. Willing to share all the contradicting information and emails with anyone considering their surgery here so you do not have a similar experience.

Andrea Moran Please do not come here. I would rate this hospital lower than 1 star if I could but that alone should tell you that my review is not great. This hospital has taken advantage of my family, with only their interest in mind. That interest being money. They charge you for blankets, there’s no A/C, they’re not clean and are negligent. Tell me why my aunt has been here for months and just NOW, they’re saying she has a flesh eating disease. When people have been around her, touching her. When her tab is about to run out. So now more money has had to be deposited. What the hell have they been doing all this time? Where are the hazmat suits? Why is no one wearing gloves or a mask? Why are her sheets not being changed out? Ever? Why are the family members expected to help lift the patient instead of the nurses and doctors doing their job? And if they needed help, they could be polite about it but they’re not. My aunt’s health could’ve improved but because of this disgusting place and their unqualified staff, she could lose her life. She has been transferred elsewhere, to a general hospital where the care and environment are such a huge improvement from this dump that’s a private hospital, where the care should be equivalent to what you’re paying for, right? Seriously, go elsewhere.

Janneke Holzner I came to this hospital after a severe bout of food poisoning had left me severely dehydrated. I was seen in the emergency entrance within five minutes, and hooked up to a drip within ten minutes. The initial consultant spoke enough english to help and so did the doctor (most of the nursing staff just spoke Spanish, but were very helpful and friendly). They were very helpful with providing everything I needed for my travel insurance- but that said, the cost of all the consultation, a private room for the whole day, and the drips and follow up rehydration drinks came to about $200. Very much recommend if you find yourself in health troubles in El Salvador.

Gloribel Arjona This hospital provides great service. During my visit to El Salvador my youngest son had difficulty breathing, and as soon as we arrived to the emergency room they started taking care of him. Dr. Gonzales examined him and provided with the right diagnostic and treatment. In addition, everyone was professional and friendly, the food was excellent and the room was always clean. I recommend this hospital.

Blanca Moran If I could give this hospital a negative star rating I would in heart beat . This hospital only cares to take your money . They don’t care about your family members and how they are doing . They are rude, dirty, lazy and huge liars . They don’t change out the bed sheets like they do here in the states . My aunt’s sheets were dirty and full of blood all week long. They probably practice the same thing at home , like wear the same damn underwear all week long , nasty . Some of them didn’t wear gloves when treating my aunt , also nasty . I didn’t see them wash their hands before or after , also nasty . The negligence of these so called Dr’s and nurses is totally unacceptable. Don’t take your love ones here . They will die and they won’t care. They are money hungry and that’s all that matters when you step foot in that stuffy hospital with no AC. We had her moved to a General hospital in Santiago and WOW what a huge difference from actually having AC and having better bedside manners and being honest with you based on the test they ran . They don’t give you false hope like the private hospital did , knowing damn well she was terminal and that there was no cure for what she had other than a miracle from God to save her . But they continued to give you false hopes just to get you for more money . I’m so disgusted by this “private hospital “ and all the staff members . And just a heads up ,they also speak English to you when it’s convenient for them . Like for example , I told my mom , in English , let the nurses and Drs lift her off the bed mom, that’s not our job because we aren’t trained to do this , they are , and we can hurt our backs or even drop my Aunt . So the guy ,who was the surgeon on my aunts case, decides to butt in like a nosy woman, and say well you can help, in English . Like, the hell I won’t , this is your job , not mine . Would I tell you to help me draw up the blueprints for your home remodel ? Well I damn well wouldn’t ! I know you couldn’t because you didn’t go to school for that , I did . So same applies when it come to his profession . Here in the states that would be a law suit waiting to happen . Anyways , DON’T take your love ones here . I would have put names on here but they will read this and know exactly who they are . And they will definitely remember who I am .

Daniel I had a positive experience during my time at San Francisco Doctors Hospital. The medical staff was knowledgeable and professional, providing high-quality care and attention to my needs. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The registration and check-in process was efficient and organized, minimizing any unnecessary wait times. While the overall experience was great, I did encounter a few minor issues, such as longer-than-expected wait times for certain procedures. However, the attentive and friendly nature of the staff made up for these small inconveniences. I would recommend San Francisco Doctors Hospital to anyone in need of medical care in the area, as they provide exceptional service and quality care.

KT M If I could give it 0 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. If you are a cancer survivor specifically, DO NOT go here. I have been a cancer survivor since 2008 and all I wanted was to establish care with an after care doctor. My radiation oncologist recommended going to UCSF as they have "the best cancer care" in the Bay area. I established care with them last year and it has been nothing short of a medical nightmare. From doctors who refuse to call you back, to doctors that claim theyre able to diagnose if you have a tumor without even doing bloodwork or checking lab scans, to doctors who wont mark your upcoming mammography exam as urgent when you have symptoms, to doctors that tell you in November 2018 that they will put you in contact with an after care doctor, only to tell you in March when you come to find out that its not even the right type of doctor. Apparently the final straw for me was a doctor saying they were going to call me back after looking into if there was a better option than a hematologoist. This is now over 2 weeks ago and there has not been a call back. Also, news flash, you dont send cancer survivors to a hematologist. You send them to a high risk clinic to establish care with a Breast Cancer Surgeon because they know what signs to look for and specialize in this. Never going here ever again. Avoid this place at all costs.

Anna H Would be one star, but my doctor was nice. First, lost one of my lab samples. Second, told me they had sent a refill request to the pharmacy but, when I went to pick it up, it didn’t exist; when I followed up again through the app, they declined my refill request without including a reason. It is a medication I’m required to take daily, same dose I’ve been on for over two years, and I absolutely required a refill. This place is a mess.

Gustav Palma For the past three days, I have been going back and forth in this clinic trying to get my first appointment with a primary care doctor for my husband and myself. On the first day I was told that there are no available appointments in the next 30 days and that i was to call everyday preferably in the morning just in case there are cancellations. So the next two days , I spent one hour each morning and i went back to the clinic three times to check the availability. On the third day, the manager of the clinic came out and informed me that their clinic is not accepting new United Health Care Medicare Advantage PPO patients because they are in the negotiations process and that for my appointment I would have to basically self pay. Now why did they not tell me that in the first place. Why did this manager not communicate to her subordinates their policy of not accepting new patients because they are in the negotiations process still. It would have saves me the telephone efforts and the visits to their clinic if they had relayed that info in the first place. If they had just told me initially that they are not accepting new patients for United Health Care Medicare Advantage PPO period because they are in the negotiations process still, it would have saved all of these wasted time and efforts. Now is that efficient management for a clinic or not?

peijuechen My mother was coming in for blood infusion. She was checked in the hospital at around 2 pm. While waiting, I asked the nurse how long she needed to wait, she said that she wasn’t sure. Then I asked her to estimate it. She said about 1-2 hours. Then I asked if she could have some thing to eat while waiting. She said the eating would be the last part, after finishing the blood infusion. I said that would be very late, my mom would be very hungry. The nurse said, she had to wait, later on they can order something for her from the hospital kitchen. Although I disagree with her, I accept her explanation. However, at6:40 pm, my mom I was still waiting for the blood. A nurse came in to ask if my mom wanted some dinner. I said why the changed what they said. They said , oh , you can eat. My sister rushed back home to get some hot food for her. What I am complaining is that the nurse In That evening didn’t answer my question with concerns and care. When I wanted to transfer him to another hospital, they made if super difficult, they lied to the other hospital about his condition because they wanted all his Medicare benefits to be used up at this horrible place. My husband only had 4 weeks of benefits left and then he got transferred to a great place were he recovered fast in 4 weeks. I still can’t forgive my self for taking him to Kentfield. Please don’t take your love one to this place- they are con artists. They just live off the Medicare money, You can ring for help all day and no one comes, people are not changed for hours at a time, it’s very noisy and the night staff is loud and it’s a party there. I can go on and on about this place. I reported them to the State of California, they should be illegally shut down. Every Dr. And Nurse and office staff is a foreigner. They brought in from overseas. Please don’t leave your love ones in their care.

Amber Lum My mother received care at Kentfield Hospital following her stroke and craniectomy at UCSF. Entrusting strangers with a vulnerable loved one is incredibly daunting, but interacting with the staff at Kentfield gave me a sense of peace. I was quickly struck by how warm and inviting the staff are, and how kind and attentive the physical therapists and nurses were with my mom. Neha and her physical therapy team created an encouraging and uplifting environment that motivated my mother to engage in physical therapy exercises. They were very hands-on and happy to educate us as well. Nurses and staff like Jackie, Rutha, Joey, Yash, Liz, and many others ensured she was not only cared for but also treated with dignity and humanity. If you have a loved one in the hospital, I encourage you to visit often and connect with the staff if possible. It allows them to gain a fuller understanding of their patients and fosters a more positive experience for everyone involved. Thank you, Kentfield Hospital, for your kindness, sensitivity, humility, and humor. Because of you, we hold onto hope for my mother’s continued recovery. We are deeply grateful.

Jane Yue I have an allergic reaction that has happen for about a month getting worse every single time in the office at my workplace where I was coughing so much, and not only did I need medication to treat that allergies, but also a doctor’s note with recommendations to my manager to ensure good air quality in the work place. I was afraid to return to work, and now I feel confidence that this health condition will improve. Thank you!

Niccolette Portillo My friend has been trying to get treatment here for months and has yet to receive a reply. It can be understandable if they have no space for new patients, but they should at least respond. Her therapist did a clinical referral to this place but still, nothing. The other reviews are also terrifying

Angela Bufford Staff are kind and helpful. Meal staff work hard and are extremely kind and respectful. Food is definitely a 10. The place lacks nothing. The only minus would be the toilets not so clean, and would always have flies in the toilet bowl. But no real complaints !! Thanks for making my stay of close to 2 weeks so easy comfortable and pleasant !! ~Angela B

k b Saving lives is a God-sent gift. When ones life ends unexpectedly under medical care, this can incite anger, confusion, blame and grief. Zuckerberg medical staff did all they could. And my loved one still transitioned. 2 neurosurgeons 2 blood clots Severe stroke Pre-existing medical circumstances all came to a point where life could not be preserved. Every medical person and chaplain and social worker was Compassionate. Affirming. Accommodating. Communicative in laymans language and medical professionalism. I was waiting on a miracle from mans hands. I was waiting on a miracle from heaven. I was waiting for a clear & outstanding signal to comfort my disorientation. After I tearfully and anxiously read the 200+pages medical record my spirit was confirmed they did everything to try to save my loved ones life with as little and as much invasiveness allowed in hopes my loved one woukd have an expedient and hopeful recovery. The doctors even preserved not sharing how quickly my loved one was slowly becoming more illed. I saw the liquids changing color, and the Docs didnt want to psychologically influence me to make the most difficult decision a family member has to make. Machine living with no life. Or no life. And God spoke. From x-rays, to treatment, to invasive procedures. Man did what man could. And God did the rest. And my loved ones soul is resting. Like mine. Free from distraction of "what ifs", "maybes" and "do more." "Words are our breath. When you speak, use your breath to speak words that inspire the life force of anothers soul."

Richard Margoluis I wasted more than six years seeing local physicians, dentists, physical therapists, and massage therapists to deal with severe TMJ pain and immobility before ending up going to the Sol Silverman Oral Medicine Clinic. It is quite a trek from my home to San Francisco so I was reluctant to go. But now I wish it had been the first place I went rather than the last. I cant say enough positive things about Dr. Rashmi Mishra and her colleague, Dr. Nivethitha Nagarajan. They listened, analyzed, and problem-solved before jumping to treatment. They started with the least invasive procedure and basically cured 90% of my problems during my very first visit. What a relief! Thank you, Drs. Mishra and Nagarajan!

Maggie Mazzetti If I could give zero stars, I would. I’m shocked by how I’ve been treated by this clinic and after nearly 8 months, am STILL in an ongoing billing dispute with no end in sight. After initially being told they would take my insurance and no pre authorization was needed, I was shocked to receive a bill for over $500 for a short visit and 5 min phone call. I called numerous times to try and resolve this issue and no one ever called me back. I gave up and finally paid the bill, but was then told it was only half the amount owed. The reason? They were now penalizing me for trying to bill my insurance in the first place. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. UCSF is great; this clinic falls far below their standards.

Phillip Lohaus Absolute joke of a clinic. They are currently having accreditation issues and are trying to back bill patients because insurance companies will no longer pay for their sub-par care. $400 for a ten minute phone call? A disgrace to the UCSF name

Matthew Lau Caveat: I was a student at UCSF, and I saw the behind the scenes. The UCSF Oral Medicine Clinic is run by people who truly love what they do, and the patients that they see. The directors would not only workup cases--they would routinely scrutinize workups. There are a number of really great people at the forefront of their field. In particular Dr. Greenspan and her husband (the dean of research a the dental school) were the ones to find the link between HIV and hairy tongue leukoplakia. She continues to treat patients on the floor When there is a precancerous or otherwise questionable oral lesion that I cant identify, I send my patients here.

Maria This clinic has erroneously damaged my credit score and if you are seen here watch out for NEGLIGENT billing practices. They also delayed getting me a referral for blood tests for over month because of computer issues. No one responded when I emailed and called afer numerous attempts. This is the most disorganized and negligent medical office.

Rich Daigle The 2 stars are for the fact that they were close by and easy for us to get to but that’s about it. I understand that people are busy but the front desk staff are unfriendly and rude. The DRs seem to be just going through the motions (except Dr. Facuda, but we never got to see her) as they mindlessly shrugs they shoulders about any question you might have. The nurses were actually pretty great, that was the only good thing about this place. Lastly they will nickel and dime you for everything, including getting your child’s information to a new doctor, that was the last straw for us, I hope the nurses and Dr. Facuda escape that dead end, sad eyed place. Look elsewhere.

Meg D My daughter has been a patient here since birth (many years!). I have had many experiences with physicians and physicians offices for many years, also. While the physicians here are probably reputable, my history with their office staff is not favorable. My suspicion is that the group does not provide high enough compensation to attract the most dedicated office personnel. Recently, the physician ordered a referral to UCSF, and I was told that if I did not receive a call from UCSF in a day or 2 to call back. I did that at day 5. The office staff was insistent that they had sent the referral. Now its been a week. After my several calls to UCSF and to Pacific Pediatrics, no referral. I had to contact the doctor to get it going. If this was the first or only incident like this, I may have let it go. They need to hire staff that will follow through on administrative issues like this and take ownership. Instead the office staff become very defensive "who did you talk with" "oh, you were seen at our other office" responses like that. Think twice about signing up with this practice, due to the inefficiency o the staff.

Matan Zinger Our first son was born with a life threatening condition. The doctors and staff at Pacific Pediatrics went above and beyond in order to figure it out, as well as support us during those difficult few weeks at the hospital. pizza pizza I went here three separate times and its been nearly impossible to get these three appointments. Appointment times are getting longer and Dr Martin is nothing but a joke. Ive received zero help and Ive been strung along the entire way and my insurance continues to pay, and pay, and pay. He makes sure to see the patient one to two times a year to make sure that he actually gets paid from the insurance. Dont go here if you want actual help. Im being told in February that I have to wait till December for RESULTS I have been given zero help the entire time Ive been there. UCSF is now just a money-making trap. UCSF used to be an extremely helpful hospital but as the years go on they get more and more unreliable. If you actually love your loved ones dont take them here

Andrew Gao Front staff is awful…. Takes weeks to process a referral and then when the referral was processed I called them and they said they are not accepting new patients. Could you not have told me that before I went through the hassle of getting all the referrals done?

Super Superman I saw Dr. Pierre Martin at UCSF Neurology Clinic twice. He said my physical exam and diagnostics are normal. He concluded that my symptoms are mental and referred me to psychotherapy. I did not agree with Dr. Martin, so I saw another UCSF doctor who was able to pinpoint the cause of my symptoms from his physical exam. When comparing the physical exams done by both doctors, they both did the same tests but at different locations. Dr. Martins physical exam was localized, whereas the other doctor explored all the areas starting from where the nerve starts and ends. I feel that Dr. Martin could be a better doctor if he was more thorough in his physical exams. Or perhaps more up-to-date knowledge is needed in general. On the positive, he has a wonderful bedside manner, but I expected more from this Yale graduate.

Alisha Mccray I have had a neuro consult since 7/3/24. I am actually an employee of ucsf and have an uc HMO with the hospital but because the fellows and new residents have yet to place a new schedule into the system, I have yet to be able to even make an appointment: I get this is more of a UC system ERROR or maybe just their lack of persistence with a newly run system… but this ignorance and truly foreseen problem every year has yet to be resolved and now has people waiting to be seen at a world class hospital that runs worse than a community hospital.
