Brett B. I had a pretty bad experience with Dr. Rothman both in her capacity as a clinician and an administrator for One Medical Group. She supervises other physicians in the group and as a patient who has had to work with Dr. Rothman, the quality of care is poor.

Sami M This Doctor could care less about your care and spends no time explaining your condition or injury. I waited close to 7 hours in the E.R. at Marin General with a broken foot and he didnt bother to get around to handling my case for 7 hours and then he spent about 2 minutes being arrogant and rude and never showed me my XRAY or had any explanation for the injury. I had not fallen. He didnt do necessary blood work even after he was told that I likely again have Cellulitis and just dismissed it and said to go to my regular doctor. I was in excruciating pain for close to 7 hours and left in a corner room with little nursing assistance. I have been to Marin General before and had good care at the time. Dr. Jason Ruben is an inadequate ER doctor. Beware if you get seen by him at Marin General. I would not like to be under his care for something life threatening.

Karen Weinberger First, construction relocated the radiology department and the signage was poor. The iv tech ruptured my veins four times and blamed me. I was not given clear instructions and missed the prompts to "take a breath and hold it". I called out during the test and got no response. They say the pictures turned out OK, but they could be rubbish. No confidence. Kaiser is becoming a Third world health delivery system.

J M Absolutely terrible front staff and cookie cutter doctors; they never inform patients in head of time of policy changes, make you feel rude for politely asking your needs to be met, will transfer you to leave voicemails on staff members phones in order to be called back the next day to whom they could walk 10 feet and speak to in person - causing delays in care that are unacceptable such as making vital tests be delayed for over a week or delaying prescription refills for benign medications for up to ~5 days.

Jennifer Taylor The worst "care" I have ever received anywhere. Waited over three months for a new patient appointment. The practitioner, Rupali Chaudhuri was a complete joke. She did not listen to anything I said, chastised me for showing up on time, as per the confirmation texts I was provided. All I got out of this experience was an empty wallet, no listening, incredibly rude office staff and medical practitioner who has now recorded incorrect information on my medical records, because she apparently does not have the ability to listen. Such a flipping joke !!! Definitely NOT worth the wait or the effort. Not to mention the freakishly rude office staff. Medical care is difficult these days but wow, you all should just stay home if this is the best you can do!! Shame on you!

Tammy D I was truly impressed with my experience at the Marin Health Hospital emergency room. I was seen just 10 minutes after arriving, which was remarkable given my condition. The staff demonstrated genuine care and thoroughly evaluated my symptoms. The front desk personnel were kind and welcoming, and I appreciated their communication with the nurse regarding my situation. Shortly after, the nurse came to take me to see the doctor. The wait to consult with the doctor was brief, and I received treatment within 10 minutes. I am very grateful to all the staff, nurses, and doctors who assisted me during my visit.

Christine C Wow! I felt so well-cared for when I made the difficult decision to drive from West Marin to Marin General ER for GI pain. We arrived at 4 am. Check in was compassionate and efficient. I was moved to a room within 20 minutes. All staff members from lab techs to attending doctor were warm, caring people. The care provided was exactly what I needed: fluids, pain meds, and lab work, including CT scan (ruled out appendicitis). Would not hesitate to return. I’m sure the early AM arrival helped with regard to prompt care.

Evgeniia Sobolev Unfortunately for me, I had to come there twice for 2 last months( I dont like visiting hospitals) But I cant but say how great this hospital is! What nice people/doctors work there! And how fast they do everything! Thank you, doctors & nurses for all you do !

James Worth Incredible ER staff. The check-in folks, triage nurse and doc, and the other nurses were awesome. We got lucky because the wait time was only about a half hour, exactly what the website wait time listed. Hopefully we dont need to come back, but this is where we would go again for an emergency.

Omer Friedman Went to the ER with severe pain, which turned out to be a kidney stone. I was seen shortly after I arrived, quickly diagnosed (triage and them imaging), and given pain meds. Afterwards, I was attended to by a nurse and a doctor who walked me through my situation, options, and next steps. Overall, very happy with the experience - hopefully dont need to go again soon but if I do, I know Ill be in good hands!

Marguarite Selica Robin here... Dr Suh got a good review by Karyn, saying shes so fantastic, even wonderful... what a joke! The diabetes must have gone to Karyns head... unless it was her first appointment... uh, cuz otherwise she had to go to hospital by ambulance, under Dr Suhs care, no? Dr Suh seems to feel threatened whenever I suggest a, quite necessary actually, dosage change or practically any input into my healthcare. Things she should have volunteered, she refuses, for no reason. She seems threatened by my input and although she should have volunteered changes, without my asking, she adamantly refuses to the point of neglect because, it seems, shes determined not to, pathologically, just because I asked for it. As a result, my health is suffering, as Im writing, right now. Many doctors encourage patients to participate in their own healthcare... Not this doctor! With Marin Health, Im filling a complaint against her and office mgr, Tina. Tina literally slandered me in my own medical records. If Marin Health fires Tina and investigates Dr Suh, I probably wont go to this practice site and protest, collecting contact info of other patients who are suffering likewise so that other patients and I might act collaboratively and I may remove this post, if Marin Health manages appropriately.

Alla Krel I would give -1000 stars to the customer service. Horrible experience, absolutely unacceptable. Over the last 24 months, this practice canceled my appointments twice without ever calling back to reschedule. Eighter the doctor was sick or doctors resigned at the last minute. Things happen and I accepted it as unforeseen circumstances. Finally, my physician scheduled an appointment for me. Three minutes past the appointment, I received a call from the receptionist, Laly discarding "You had an appointment at noon". I was 4 minutes away and I explained that I was coming to the appointment. There was construction work in Greenbrae and I ended up arriving 8 minutes late instead of 4 minutes. She immediately accused me "You said youll be here in 4 minutes and now its 8 minutes", we need to reschedule your appointment". I explained the circumstances of being 8 minutes late. She still insisted on rescheduling though I was in time for the grace period, within 10 minutes of my appointment. I requested to speak with the Office Manager. The Office Manager was not available, but I was offered to speak to the medical assistant, Julianna. After waiting for Julianna for 6 minutes finishing with another patient, I heard Laly telling Julianna about her plan to reschedule me. After that, Juliana explained to me that my appointment was just before lunch time and thats why the doctor could not see me. I am still wondering what type of appointment would be if arrived in time, less than 8 minutes? After coming back to work, I received another call from the MarinHealth scheduling department asking if I wanted to keep an appointment that was already rescheduled. I hope the manager of this practice will take appropriate steps to train front desk people to improve their customer service skills. Unfortunately, I have not had an opportunity to meet with a doctor yet but my first impression about this practice is super negative and disappointing.

Oliver Mccallum-keeler I hate to say it but it was the most awful experience. I had a minor ear infection from a new piercing and i assumed she would suggest some antibiotics and send me on my way, but alas she had no intention of actually being helpful she immediately removed my earring without assessing the situation, this is the worst thing to possibly do with an infected ear and takes a fraction of a second to know that that is highly dangerous. Next she realized she made a mistake and began to attempt to put the earring back in irritating it even more. She then gave up and said to get it re-pierced, and said I should wash it, without giving any helpful information at all, all she did was worsen the situation!

Heidi Callowhill The front office staff was rude and lacked any sense of recognizing we are both potential clients and seniors in need of good support. When my wife was not able to join a Zoom session she lost her current appointment and then was told she would have to wait another ten weeks. This after having to submit a lot of paperwork and already waiting for a couple months. The doctor(s) may be excellent but after exposure to their extended team we have lost interest in using their service. We will contact our primary care physician and get a referral for a different practice. I think we were spared further poor experiences.

Kathy Bucedi Would give 0 if I could. Apparently Marin gastro doesn’t care if you’ve been a patient for 20 some years. They’ve left me high and dry with an injury requiring hospital care! And requiring a doctor to do his job and make sure I have the rxs I need to basically function. That’s not dr Malladi and it’s not here. They won’t even return phone call going on over a week now. This is not even close to what this practice used to be. Now it’s a joke. Well I’ve tried for 3 weeks to get somebody to return my call to try to get a new doctor. Nobody has even afforded me the courtesy I’ve left at least seven messages. All of these bad reviews are deserved, especially Malladi . What a jerk. I can’t believe how far downhill this practice has gone it used to be a good place to go. I wish the older docs were still available; they were professional.

Ben Gardner STAY AWAY! This place is awful. They charged $867 for a very brief Telehealth consultation. I had COVID and asked about getting Paxlovid. The doctor said I do not qualify and recommended taking Tylenol. They billed for a 52 minute call at a rate of $1000/hr. The call lasted approximately 5-10 minutes. I have been contacting them regularly to refute this. A supervisor promised me she was looking into and has subsequently ignored my phone calls and lied about getting back to me. A second associate made similar false promises.
1 /5
J Betz I was charged $575 for an appt that lasted 2 minutes, no exaggeration, even though the billing statement I received said it was a 30-45 minute visit. I did the math, this doctor would be making over $17,000/hour at this rate! Not only that but I was given a prescription for medication for pink eye and sent to our local CVS. They didn’t carry it. I went to a different pharmacy of my own choosing. They didn’t have it either. Had to drive all the way to San Anselmo to get it, the pharmacy was closed, had to return the next morning. Did the medication for a week as prescribed. The pink eye came back a day later. Called Marin Health about it, they never responded to my phone call. Thanks for nothing Marin Health! Your 2 min service (and exaggeration about my 30-45 min appt) and charges and medication selection and lack of response when calling you about my medication not working were awful. I won’t recommend your facility.

Jeff Corino My experience with this clinic has been very good so far. My cardiologist caught a dangerous tumor in my heart and got me into the hospital the same day. I was blessed that it was found so quickly. The only precipitating factor was a Covid vaccine shot during the prior 12 months. Now i see the Nurse Practitioner who covers for my primary doctor and so far she has been great. It is unfortunate that patients in these other reviews have had such terrible experiences. There is no excuse for that kind of shabby service at a Cardiology clinic with lots of senior patients. There should be an office manager who fields complains to improve the Clinics efficiency and reputation.

Ken Wilkes I have an appointment in March, but I need to see my 90 year old father, of poor health in Oregon at that time. But the earliest appointment I could get was in June, 3 months out. And this was a 6 month check up, which had turned into a 9 month check up. For a person with a heart condition that time period is unacceptable. I decided to go see my father before he passed away, instead of getting the check up. Hope this a good roll of the dice.

Ashley M. Halligan My doctor ordered an ECHO in mid-December from MarinHealth. I was supposed to wait for the clinic to reach out to schedule this test, though nobody did. So I called before Christmas and spoke to a receptionist who told me there is only one person who can schedule appointments for new patients, but that person was unavailable and would call me back "that afternoon." I explained that my situation was urgent because I was laid off — and my insurance would soon be lapsing. That call never came. A couple days later, I called again and left a voicemail for this one individual who is responsible for all new patient scheduling, nearly in tears, explaining that Id lost my job, that my insurance would only be valid for a particular window of time, and that if the test was performed without insurance it would be a hefty out-of-pocket expense. She still didnt call back. I followed up just after Christmas and was told by another receptionist that the reason I wasnt called back is because the test order did not include a "pre-authorization from my insurance," which they needed from the doctor ordering the test. I contacted my doctor who confirmed that no pre-auth was needed, but submitted a second order for the ECHO on 12/29 that included that note. In the meantime, I contacted my insurance who confirmed no pre-auth was needed. I followed up with MarinHealth the next day who said that they couldnt schedule the appointment because they also needed a "reference #" from the ordering doc. I called my doc back and she had no idea what they were asking for and assured me both orders were complete. In the meantime, I had her submit the same ECHO order to UCSF. I called UCSF that day who immediately scheduled my test, stating that they did not need an authorization or reference number of any kind. Given that doctors dont recreationally order ECHOs for young, seemingly healthy people, Im flabbergasted that MarinHealth made it impossible to schedule a basic cardiology test — especially given that another practice was able to schedule me immediately based on the same order that had been sent to them. I will never go to MarinHealth for any care unless its an emergency and I have no other option.

Sabrina Nucciarone MarinHealth billing is the worst system ever. The people who "help" on the phone dont have thick enough skin to help effectively, continually speaking over you like a spoiled child. They defer to the nasty word of "should" and think that explains everything. Even if you pay at the time for a rendered service, whatever you pay goes toward outstanding bills but they dont send you any proof or confirmation of the amount you sent/paid or to what service it was applied, rendering a co-pay/payment that youve already paid still outstanding. Its not a generally accepted accounting principle to do that and I dont know how they get away with it without evidence. Its bad enough I was already in the hospital, anything that has to do with money gets on my last raw nerve and "should" doesnt cut it and a brat for customer service representative is in poor taste. A single star is being generous.
