Shelby Schindler *IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I was a patient a year ago, my name has changed since I got married. I was treated badly by all office staff, not just Yelena. I was seen by Dr. Robert McDonald and have added pictures. Again, you are dismissing your office’s responsibility.
REVIEW: I want to write this review not out of anger or disgust, even though I feel both of those things, but out of a genuine desire to warn others. I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience so that anyone seeking care at this establishment is fully informed.
I apologize for the length of this review, but I strongly urge you to read it carefully before deciding to be seen here, bring your loved ones or your children to this clinic.
I was awaiting a very serious test result to determine if I had a cancerous or benign brain tumor—a situation no one should face with uncertainty or fear. Unfortunately, my experience was made worse by this office. My appointment was canceled four times, and when I expressed frustration after the fourth cancellation, Yelena at the front desk hung up on me. Never in my life have I had a health professional hang up on me, and I was appalled by this unprofessional behavior. At this point, I had been waiting for nearly four weeks for my results with no explanation for the repeated cancellations.
What made the situation even more distressing was that they refused to give me my results over the phone. I was told I had to come into the office to receive them from the doctor, which is why the repeated cancellations became so upsetting.
I was terrified, needing answers about potentially life-or-death information, and felt as though they were withholding crucial results with no regard for my emotional or physical well-being. I had hoped to be met with comforting words, reassurance, or at least some accommodation to receive my results over the phone due to their repeated cancellations, but instead, I was met with cold indifference, insensitivity, and outright disregard for my well-being.
After being hung up on, I called back, only to be treated just as poorly by the second staff member who answered my call. I understand everyone has bad days, but this was unacceptable and unprofessional behavior—especially from healthcare professionals.
Additionally, every time I came in for an appointment at this clinic, I arrived on time but still waited almost an hour to be seen. When I was finally seen, it often felt like no one genuinely cared about my situation. There was always confusion at the front desk about why I was there, which often carried into my appointments with the doctors. I specifically told the front desk staff that I preferred to be seen by a female doctor due to the sensitive nature of my women’s health concerns. Despite this, when I arrived for one of my appointments, I was met by a male doctor. My request had either been ignored or overlooked, and no one seemed to acknowledge my discomfort. I immediately voiced my concern but was told that if I wished to reschedule with the female doctor, it would be another two weeks before I could be seen. Once again, there was no regard for my discomfort or any attempt to accommodate the situation or take responsibility for their mistake. I felt forced to proceed with the appointment, knowing that if I didn’t, it would be weeks before I could get another chance to be seen. This made an already distressing experience even more uncomfortable.
No patient should ever be put in a situation where they feel unheard, uncared for, or forced into uncomfortable circumstances, especially when facing a situation as serious as mine.
I share this experience not to be vengeful but to make others aware of the lack of empathy, professionalism, and respect I encountered. I genuinely hope that this review serves as a reminder for healthcare providers of the critical importance of compassion and communication.
For anyone considering care at this clinic, please do your research and think twice before trusting them with your health or the health of your loved ones.

Heather Ibbitson I have been a patient of the McDonald clinic for about four years. Dr. Kathy seemed caring and efficient at the beginning, but I have been turfed to her husband the last two times I have needed to see someone. He is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever been to. There is no way I will be back to see him. He is rude has the greasiest longest hair I have ever seen. He is about the most unprofessional physician I have ever had the unfortunate experience to cross paths with. Sandals with white socks , really? In the back in the patient waiting rooms they had music blaring AC/DC George Thorogood Guns N’ Roses. Absolutely beyond belief. I have changed to a different physician and the care is like day and night. I really would think twice or three times or four times before I would choose them as my physician. Beware

A S Dr. Mary was great when we first
started here 5 years ago. Dr.Robert, SO unprofessional but so quick to give you a prescription. Most doctors offices have space in their schedule for sick people on the same day, not a WEEK out. Definitely go elsewhere, there’s better places out there.

Grant Waller All about the co-pay. Ive been a patient of the McDonalds for a few years now. Recently I was required to see Dr. McDonald to get a referral for a Dermatologist. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and was asked for a $45 co-pay which I immediately wrote a check. When I handed it to the receptionist, she said she needed to ask the Doctor if they would accept it. She returned and said they dont accept checks. I said I could go get cash but it will take a few minutes and she said we dont accept cash either. Unreal. Im not a new patient to this clinic, theyve always received payment from myself and family. I had a recent credit card issue due to identity theft and Credit was all they would accept. My time was wasted driving in for the appointment and now cant get the help I need.

Mark Miller The receptionist Jannette (I dont know if I spelled it right), is so helpful and informational. Shes super sweet and really puts her care towards patients.
Megan is also super kind and really puts patients first. I had to call to switch up referrals and without denying me like multiple other clinics when I had discrepancies, she did it immediately over the phone.
Dr. Robert Mcdonald is an amazing doctor. Super comedic, knows how to make patients comfortable. He is super informative and really puts the care needed to his patients. Im thankful for this clinic, its really assisted me in my treatment.
