We follow up with regular checkups. Very pleased.

(11) Reviews Lance T. Lee, MD:

Melissa Reid Dr. Lee at Tarichi Clinic is very helpful and thorough. But as he doesn’t accept Medical I can’t continue with my visits. I recently had to pay a Medicare copay of several hundred dollars. On a fixed budget I can not afford any more visits. It’s too bad because I was happy with the service.

Rachael Hill The triage, nurses, and other teams were amazing. The banter in the nurses station, however, was very inappropriate. All about drinking and bar hopping and taking shots. Very inappropriate hospital emergency room talk.

5 /5
Raymond Cordova Medical center is perfect the only complaint is that the nurses have a contest to see how many they can get fired in a year I was almost added to their list but I was cleared because it was discovered that I was always in compliance with state requirements for PPE. Overall great place to get your medical attention but not very nice to work there because of a few bored nurses who dont get any repercussions for bad behavior that cost people their jobs. Last thing to say about it is that the camera never lies ever be careful on what you accuse.

Alexa Scia Had a good experience. Everyone personable & professional and kept on time schedule & plans. Parking is very limited, no where to park for patients, unless you drop off because you have to park block or two from hospital...

melissa jinks We just moved to Chico from out of state and I noticed a breast lump. After calling many different offices to get an appointment, I was able to make an appointment with Dr Sloop for a breast exam. The receptionist took all my information by phone, asked for my health insurance (a cost sharing program which requires patients to pay in full at time of visit) and assured me the insurance was no problem. After driving an hour to Chico for my appointment, I was told they were unable to take my cash payment and I was not able to be seen. Incredibly frustrating. A waste of my 2 hours and gas and no further along on the breast lump. There was complete indifference on the part of the staff, just a curt “sorry.” I’m sure the providers are wonderful but they own the clinic and manage the staff.
2 /5
Michael Gillett Dr. Jay Randall Sloop is a VERY rare physician. VERY rare! 10-11 years working with providers within a hospital setting, NOBODY matches the level of overall versatile care he has & shows people. VERY grounded, pragmatic, presents patients with options, excellent following up to reassess patient condition to modify care if needed. Still boggles my head to this day.
5 /5
N Jimenez I am so grateful for Dr. Sloop’s medical team. Each time I have called or visited their office, I have received the most amazing care – from the person that answers the phone, to the one that checks my vital signs, to the thorough and kind doctors! Thank you!

(6) Reviews Timothy Rushmer MD:

Michelle Adkins After trying alternative pain specialists in the area and finding that most of them couldn’t care less about my situation, I truly couldn’t rave more about how dedicated Rushmer is about treating and caring for his patients. Finding good quality care is so rare in these parts and if you’ve lived here long enough I’m sure you can attest to that, so it was quite refreshing to find someone that not only wanted to relieve the symptoms but also wanted to find out the root cause, so score!
5 /5
Jay Gatton Dr. Rushmer is by far the best doctor I have ever met. He personally called me to chat about my symptoms for over an hour on a Sunday, he answered the phone at 10pm when I had an allergic reaction to the medical tape from my surgery, and then told me he would meet me at the ER if the medications he advised to take didn’t get me through the night. He personally called my wife after a surgery to update my wife… the list goes on and on. My only hope is that he stays in Chico for years to come.
5 /5
Julie Peterson When I met with Dr. Rushmer he was on time, patient and didnt make me feel rushed with my questions. He made me feel heard as I described my pain and he created a reasonable plan for me to gain some relief. He called me the day before my MRI (Im claustrophobic) to make sure I was comfortable with what he prescribed and offered additional suggestions to get thru the procedure. That kind of care is so appreciated, I and am thankful to have him as one of my care providers.

Craig Newton I severely injured my back, possibly an l34 herniated disc. I am very happy that Orthopedic Associates of Northern California took me in. I was in severe pain for 32 days because I had no records in this area. My prior spine surgeon referred me everywhere. I would have gone to surgery because of my pain. as a new patient moving to Northern California. When Dr Rushmers team called I was so thankful. There is so much hesitancy to prescribe Norco because of so much abuse. Rushmer took care of me and scheduled an MRI. I hate how insurance makes us wait for approval, but i waited it out forced to sleep only a few hours and in a recliner. In fact, getting worse everyday. Finally I was approved for a shot and that did it. Dr Rushmer thought the herniated L3/4 would need surgery but I am back to 100%. Dr Rushmer really knows how to treat pain. Hes the best in the west.
5 /5
Cindy Mitchell I can’t thank you Dr Rushmer, and your staff for the excellent care you give! The ladies in your office are so professional, knowledgeable and kind! Dr. Rushmer, you heard me and helped me when I told you, I didn’t want pain meds or surgery. Now I’m back to my yoga and other activities I missed due to chronic back pain. Thank you again, I remain, Sincerely yours, Cindy Mitchell

Charlene Brooks The doctors are good, but dont come late to an appointment. When you call ahead and notify them that youre running a few minutes late, they wont tell you that theyre going to refuse to see you until you get there. When the waiting room is empty and youre only 10 minutes late, it feels very punitive and petty. Thanks for the 60 mile round trip for nothing.

Mary Davis I had the best experience for such a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. Dr. Mathews treated me with care and dignity as if i were an old friend. Through out my cancer care he worked closely with my team. When i was ready for surgery he worked with his father and i went to surgery. I continue to see Dr. Mathews on problems my body has needed his attention. I have refered friends to his office as i have never had a problem with the staff as they are all awesome. The best word word i could use is COMPASSION and you dont see that in many situations of the medical community. Definetly for the best care i definitely recommend Dr. Douglas Mathews for excellent care.

Matt Zimmer Took months to get an appointment, finally got one, received text messages and phone calls and emails confirming my appointment, paperwork received in the mail for me to fill out prior to appointment and directions to go to various other places to get things managed and prepared for my upcoming appointment. Everything is done on my end, ready to go, paperwork filled out, Drs notes and cds of images ready, time taken off of work. Day of the appointment I get a voicemail saying my appointment has changed for tomorrow and to call back to confirm...WTF. Missing out on work today cost me 350, and without notice Im supposed to take another day off for another 350 and then pay you people too. F you, driving to Sacramento now to avoid these clowns. HORRIBLE. And yea my neck is still screwed up and Im still in pain, nut no way in hell am I now going to trust you to mess with my spinal cord. UPDATE, lack of options forced me back here and I have changed my 1 star review to 5 stars. Dr Kunnegellis has been wonderful and did an amazing job on my neck, what a turn around from where it was to where it is now! Great Job!!

Leana Faggard I was in severe back pain for 20yrs and couldnt find any one to help. Then I was referred to as pain management doctor who referred me to Dr. Whitlatch. After back surgery and recovery and rehabilitation, I am 100% pain free! Dr. Whitlatch is the most compassionate md I have ever met in my 65 years of life. He is a gift from God/Goddess with magic in his talented hands. Along with Dr. Eddelman I feel like a new person!

Keri Lynn Anderson From the moment you walk into the office the staff greets you with warmth and professionalism. The free consultation is thorough and I was able to book an appointment for my procedure on the spot without feeling any pressure. After meeting with Dr. Alonso, I left feeling confident about my choice. He was very honest and informative about what results to expect. On the day of the procedure everything went as described. It was a very relaxed environment. The staff took great care of me and I was in and out quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Alonso, Im sure you wont regret your decision. Thank you to Dr. Alonso and his staff for an easy experience that gives great results!

Paul Joseph I was a patient with Mr Alonso for many years , he then switched me over to a pa ( who I didnt know her background or experience) which caused all kinds of problems . "The whole problem was not consulting your patient before making such a move, ( unprofessional ) I signed up for a MD not a pa. I trusted in Mr. Alonso , which I now regret. If your going to be his patient make sure he tells you , hes going to be your MD as long as your with him , and not change you over to a pa , without your permission....

Paula Coleman-Rich Dr. Alonso is wonderful!! He is so responsive and caring. When I had COVID he immediately scheduled a virtual appointment for the same day. I also was stuck on the coast without a much needed medication and he answered the phone after hours and called the Rx for me after hours!!!

I’m claustrophobic and he made me feel at ease while in the body box, during testing. Dr. Dinesh Verma took time to explain what my test results meant and what could help me going forward. I would highly recommend this doctors office to anyone in need of a good pulmonary care.

Dilia Loe I wait over an hour at every appointment. Seriously he needs better staff. Please don’t wastes people’s time. At check in, I waited at the window while the staff chatted one with her back towards me and the other looking at me. This clearly happens often. Dr.Verma is very personable and informed. I appreciate his professionalism.

Destiny Montoya I have mixed feelings about my visit today. The lady at the front desk was so personable and helpful and so was my technician. But I was there for two hours total. 1 hour I spent in the waiting room while I watched everyone come and go. It felt like they forgot about me. The breathing test is hard! If you have any breathing problems be prepared. I was dizzy and nauseous but hopeful. The technician kept telling me that I would be able to get some answers so it was all worth it. When I talked to the doctor afterwards he was very nice, but very rushed. He kept telling me I was “fine”. There is a review on here that says his diagnosis is clouded by own personal experience and that is true. I Walked out with 140 heart rate, dizziness and shortness of breath. Some of my results were good. Some of them he said were irregular but “fine”. I walked out with more questions than answers. I walked in with CT images he didn’t care to look at. I would definitely get a second opinion and urge everyone to listen to their gut and be their own advocate.

Cher Tibbitts Very present during visits. Listens to all i have to tell her. Educates herself with my medical history and gives great suggestions and ideas on how to better manage my concerns and current issues. Kind and explains things good. Never makes me feel like she is in a rush to be done and somewhere else. So thankful i finally found a doctor like her. So deeply grateful because i survived colon cancer the previous doctor didnt even attempt to catch during many visits with my complaints that something wasnt right. This doctor i changed to after a major surgery and hospital stay followed by numerous chemotherapy sessions. She listened to everything and has been helping me get back to feeling normal again with the right meds this time like my colesterol, etc. Just so relieved and stress-free since i chose Dr. Tyagi as my primary care physician.

Clare Carbonell I am almost 7 years post my diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer de novo. I was given 3 years as an estimate of how long I would survive. After a comprehensive treatment plan that included chemotherapy, a mastectomy (which is not the standard with stage 4) and continued targeted chemo I am expected to live a usual life span. If I hadn’t listen to my primary and sought treatment at Enloe I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t have seen my 3 kids graduate from high school and my oldest from college. I am truly blessed to have found this facility and its wonderful staff.

Ali Nicole I cant recommend this place whatsoever, in fact I went to UCSF over them, even with a 4 hour drive one way. Its such a great improvement. All the doctors in San Francisco read all the dr. notes and cant believe their eyes of what I went through with enloe. With USCF, I am already receiving my cancer treatments and am on my 2nd round of chemo. Dr. Pathak said come back in 1 year...Id be dead. Theyd cancel my appointments and reschedule, yet still send me text messages to come in the day before. Id show up for nothing..but it gets worse. Ive been trying to call for at least hydration during chemo to save me a couple trips to San Fran and they are denying me, and/or not answering their phones. Dr. Pathak seemed to have no concern for me. Hed tell I only had cyst but never looked into if this was true. Even in my blood tests, I was concerned it could be cancer because my numbers elevated. He said cancer would be to rare so he wasnt worried. He did help with my blood clot but told me to come back after a year. He said that he would refer me to an oncologist just in case, which was never done. Under his care, my tumor went from 6 cm to 13 cm and he never noticed. Luckily, I got a 2nd opinion because what he told me was just a cyst is stage 2 sarcoma cancer. Im sad I wasted nearly a year of my life going to a doctor who doesnt care enough about my health to double check or hardly look at my leg. Save your life and avoid this place.

Melissa Reid When I first started treatment for bilateral breast cancer I was very anxious but the staff at radiation oncology were very caring and patient with me. At one point I thought they were going to give up on me but they didnt. They worked hard to make sure my treatment was accurate and safe. They are a dedicated professional staff and demonstrate that they care about their patients. Thank you for being there for me: Ken, Joy, Kim, Brittany, Tanya, Patty, and those whose names I have forgotten.

Jane Wood It has almost been a year since my mother passed away. Chemotherapy is listed before cancer as a cause of death on her death certificate. She was given a rigorous treatment plan after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She died less than a year after treatments began. I believe she was pushed by her doctor to continue the treatments after she expressed a desire to stop due to the side effects causing an increasingly poor quality of life. I strongly believe she would have lived longer with an alternative treatment or no treatment at all. She had a good quality of life before chemotherapy. Now I see they are breaking ground on a new Enloe Cancer Center on Bruce Road, right across from her former home. It pains me to drive by and see that sign. I cant help but wonder how much her treatments helped to fund the coming facility. Maybe chemo is a big money maker for them. I dont know, but for me it definitely created a lot of distrust in the operation of that medical establishment. I miss her everyday and feel she was taken from her family by a treatment plan that made the last 6+ months of her life one of sickness and suffering. They have probably helped save a lot of people, but they didnt help her. My young son will have few if any memories of his wonderful and loving Grammy.

Sharon Martin I could not have asked for better treatment. Everyone who works there is very professional and compassionate. Doctor Stickney and the radiation nurses were excellent. They do everything possible to make you comfortable. They were very supportive. The infusion nurses are absolutely amazing. Always smiling and working hard to keep you comfortable. Thank you for everything.
