Ayten Meremetci I’ve had experience with three physicians in this group, but I only needed Dr. Phong Le, DPM for surgery. Dr Le performed foot surgery on me, which consisted of a plate and seven screws; he did a phenomenal job. The surgery was performed at Mercy Hospital and I was most impressed with everyone there as well. They took excellent care of me. Before surgery, I could not stand for long before needing to be off my foot (15-20 mins), and in general I had a lot of foot pain. Post surgery was rough, but there was no avoiding it to get my foot in proper alignment. I had no complications after surgery, just pain from the “new” foot. I have a high pain tolerance but I must admit the pain was bad for many weeks following, however It was all worth it. I no longer have foot pain like I did and I can stand and be on my feet for 16 hours and longer with no problem. I have my life back. I tell anyone with foot problems who think they may need surgery or just a good foot doctor, to waste no time seeing Dr Le with Northern California Orthopedic Associates. They are the best. My husband had a successful knee replacement with them and soon he will have hip replacement with them as well. THANK YOU DR. LE, you changed my life for the better! Donna C.

Nathan Yant DR. Andrew Thomas is fantastic. If you have any trouble breathing at all, go see him! He will take the time to fully discuss and walk you through all steps of a procedure. Dr. Thomas cares about what he does and his patients. If you cant breath through your nose, he can help you!

Geordie Excellent overall. Staff behind the desk were great and Andrew is super-knowledgeable, friendly and takes his time to explain everything. Bonus: he has his own CT scanner onsite for immediate diagnosis and he charges only about one tenth the cost of a CT in a hospital.

Michelle Brady Dr. Andrew Thomas is a major plus to Nevada County and deserves a 10 star rating, I had sinus surgery a year and I feel amazing. Dr. Thomas always went above and beyond when I was there for my appointments, and goes out of his way to make you comfortable and answers all of your questions and concerns, making sure you understand everything before you leave the office. The Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable; I would definitely refer him to all of my friends and family. I hope he stays in Nevada County for years.

Nicole Weaver Being a huge baby and terrified of needles/surgery/all of that, I am grateful for Dr. Boyle and his staff. Pre-surgery he spent a lot of time with me going over the procedure and even drew me diagrams to take home so I would know exactly what would be happening and what to expect. Dr. Boyle was my 2nd opinion and I 100% decided to go with him instead of the other guy, who spent a whole 6 minutes with me and I left confused and scared. His office and surgery staff are highly organized, friendly and efficient and I felt extremely taken care of. He encompasses all the traits of what I think a great Doctor/Surgeon should be- cares, listens, spends as much time as you need, answers all your questions, makes eye contact and makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. He made this experience much less scary for me and Im healing up great!!

Patrick E Greedy! Not to mention the bumbling mistakes, be aware of hidden expenses. During my annual, no-cost wellness exam, I asked for a prescription refill that was originally filled by a different doctor from another practice. No problem, the Rx was written and I happily picked up the prescription from my local pharmacy hours later. Approximately 3 months later I received a bill for $118 for an outpatient visit for the very same date I was seen for the wellness exam. When I called in questioning this charge, I was told that because I asked to refill a prescription that was filled by another doctor, they had to charge me for this part of the exam by billing it as an "outpatient visit" - as if I had walked out of the office and walked back in for a new visit. Do you think it could have been mentioned that this service was not part of the wellness exam? One would think so, but never was it mentioned during the exam that to write the prescription for this drug would result in an out-of-pocket charge of $118.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! Its like asking the waiter or waitress if I can add an upgrade to my meal and getting charged for writing the add-on to the meal ticket. Absurd. The office person coldly said that I should deal with my insurance about this. Its not about the insurance, its about your GREED Bouchier-Pritchett Family Medicine! In the end YOU lose. My money will now be going to a different practice that has some moral integrity, and I hope others reading this review will move along as well.

Shawn Brower My husband and I are just DONE with this practice! Over the last year, weve fought to get referrals and testing we needed. Jed Coleman pushed back repeatedly on our request for testosterone and neurotransmitter testing, a referral to an endocrinologist and they are either unwilling or completely incompetent when it comes to the needs of gay men and their health issues, even simple STI testing and treatment. Most recently, they were unable to get the necessary medication and told us to just go into a clinic, so whats the point if you primary care physician is more of an obstacle than a resource. We could not be more disgusted with how weve been treated by this practice. Do better!

paul hauck My 96 year old mother experienced a sudden change in mental status. We took her to the emergency department and within four hours she had been triaged, had lab work, chest x-ray, and brain scan, been seen by the emergency room physician, was diagnosed and treated. Our experience there was nothing short of phenomenal. Each person we encountered was uniformly polite, friendly and professional. We are so fortunate to have this quality service in the small town.

Sharon Woolsey From pre-op joint class, to being released after knee replacement surgery same day, 2/3/25, ALL staff members were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, comforting, and efficient. They were all helpful and smiling and took away my fears. This is my second experience with this hospital. The first being the ER. Again, very professional and totally impressive. Their compassion and excellent care made a huge difference in my experience. Thanks to each and every one of the staff members I dealt with.

Tom Parilo My wife and I visited the Dignity Health urgent care facility on three occasions over the last two weeks. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, friendly and professional. You dont need an appoinment and there are rarely other patients in the waiting room. They take the time to properly evaluate your medical needs. We highly recommend Dignity Health Urgent Care.

Karuna Hodgson I had a barium enema procedure. The people helping me were wonderful but the initial equipment they used was faulty which created a fiasco. I felt like I had landed in a mud wrestling competition. Extremely awkward for me. But they kept trying and finally got proper equipment. I know it was very challenging for the 2 people helping me as well but they held their composure and helped me stay calm and we got through it. The doctor was in charge of taking pictures and removed himself from the messy glitches and came back when they sorted it out. I could tell he was frustrated with the situation but kindly refrained from exasperated outbursts which I believe he was on the verge of. I don’t think this kind of thing happens very often so I guess I drew the short straw that day. Grateful for the kindness of the crew on point.

Linda Ergo I was quickly admitted, and attended to, and I felt very cared for. My doctor was kind and extremely sympathetic . I came in for severe hypertension, and I thought I was having a heart attack or a stroke and I was very scared. I had several tests done and was only there for about four hours. Everything was extremely efficient. I didn’t have to wait forever for some kind of treatment. And I know the ER was busy because there were patients in every bed. All the people that attended to me were very kind and I appreciated that.

Kacee Casto Not a safe place. They have no responsibility or accountability for the destructive advice they give and encourage. But they will recommend therapy to recover from taking their advice which destroyed you. But the therapy they suggest wont be available either. So they just say good luck and leave you to suffer. Doesnt really matter if you live or die because they cant be held responsible and dont care. If they cant fix you with their little program and there is no ego gratification for them they will do much harm. Not a safe place

The receptionist promptly directed me to a counselor within the office who gave me excellent direction with the kindest most compassionate attitude. I am very impressed.
