Alina Muresan Do NOT recommend any of these doctors or facility. Do yourself a favor and seak a better doctor. Doctors are not knowledgeable, staff is extremely rude, refuse to provide copies of medical records needed for a second specialist visit even after 3-5 requests, constant fraudulent billing where preventative visits are billed as diagnosis and the billing recuses to give an explanation. Even when the insurance representative calls to solve the issue and inquire why the billing is done incorrect they are extremely rude to the insurance and refuse to collaborate. Save yourself a headache and wasted time on the phone. There are better doctors and staff that do not engage in fraud.

Recently, I had a serious issue and the Dr. Lee at DDDOC, and a physicians assistant Leslie Whitney were relentless in trying to find out what the problem was and cure me. This included numerous tests, procedures, home IV and home nurses and a referral to other related Dr specialities. I continue to be impressed with the staff for its efficientcy , and how kind all of the Dr and staff are. One thing I learned is to use their in-house website for even faster responses.

Umesh Jindal I was a new patient but got an appointment for the next week when I called. Check in was easy and was seated in the room to see the doctor within 20 minutes of my appointment time. The doctor was very attentive and listened to my history of present illness asking questions to understand my problem. He examined me thoroughly and was even able to do a simple procedure to treat my hemorrhoid in the same visit. Extremely satisfied with my visit.

The Skidmores Dr. Barrett and his staff deliver the very best healthcare imaginable. He has gone out of his way to help me in every way he can for years. He truly cares about his patients, and it feels great to be in the hands of such a professional.

Heidi Durian This is an update of a previous positive review, this doctor should be removed of his license. Patients be forewarned! Unethical practices, explosive, abusive, unstable doctor. I really think this Barrett has lost his mind. I had an upcoming surgery so I called the office to get an EKG and bloodwork. I made it very clear that the bloodwork needed to be in my hand by the following Thursday for the upcoming surgery on the next Monday. They indicated that there was “no problem“ and made me an appointment. I arrived at the office, the EKG machine was not working. The unit itself took all the information but it was not printing. I had to take a screenshot of the EKG. The following week I began to get nervous; as of Wednesday hadn’t received any word nor had I received my lab results from Dr. Barrett’s office. I called and was told that they would find out what was going on and get back to me. Thursday morning I had received no information so I called the office and left a message on the service. Barrett called me back and started screaming at me how dare I “demand“ anything from him or his staff. I was in shock. I was literally stunned. If it wasn’t his voice I wouldn’t of believed it was him. He is legally and ethically bound to provide my lab results and not only was he refusing he was being abusive! That is what I told him. He lied and claimed that he was not the doctor on call and that he “wasn’t working that day” yet I have recorded proof that he was in fact the doctor on call. Further he told me that his office doesn’t “offer EKGs“. Interesting. There is an EKG machine that I photographed and documented history of the staff making me an appointment for an EKG. Barrett refused to listen to me, he told me he wasn’t obligated to do anything for me and he HUNG UP ON ME. I started freak out because I was having surgery in a different state, my surgeon was relying on the information, and the surgery was on Monday! I called the service again, Barrett refused to return my calls. When the office opened I called and he got on the phone and screamed at me and told me he was going to hang up on me and told me never to call back. I did call back, he was illegally withholding my medical information. He also advised the staff to hang up on me, which they did multiple times. I was in tears, absolute panic. This was an unconscionable and purposeful effort to deny me of my medical information by Dr. Barrett, and at his direction, his staff. My husband called the office then and Barrett got on the phone screamed at him, and hung up again. There are multiple ethical violations here, the least of which, and any doctor knows very well what the protocol is for releasing a patient, and Barrett failed miserably. He and his staff have continued to charge me his medical fee on a monthly basis in spite of his having refused to provide medical services to me. I ended up having to go to another lab on an emergency basis to get the a whole new series of lab workups. I did not have my surgery specifically because of Barrett and his abusive refusal to legally provide MY medical information. Ironically a few days later, and apparently realizing he royally effed up and is looking at a lawsuit, he emailed me a contrite email saying that my results had been “lost“. Nice try Barrett. Any child knows that what Dr. Bart Barrett and his staff did is not only unethical, harmful, and immoral, it is also illegal. I will be posting all updates, as well as publicly available information on any lawsuits, results of said lawsuits and formal complaints and the results regarding this situation. This man may have been a good doctor once, but it is time for him to go. I don’t know, and I’m sure we will find out, what other patients he has treated this way. His staff too will be held accountable, and they might rightfully go after him for putting them in a position to follow his hysterical and illegal demands. This is completely unacceptable for a physician, who is legally and ethically bound to certain standards and laws.

mike A My stepson has been seeing Dr Hanna for over a year for his ADD. His medications are very important to him and to us as a family. While I have nothing negative to say about Dr Hanna’s treatment of my stepson, I do have slot to say about how her office is run, specifically when it comes to prescriptions and refills. This is now the third time in which her office has mishandled the refilling of prescriptions. This is the third time where my stepson is left days without his medications. He is still currently without his medications for the past three days and going into the weekend without any help from Dr Hanna’s office. Regardless of how many emails, voicemails, messages through the patient portal, etc you will not get any response and if they do finally respond they’ll screw it up again like they did today, by prescribing the wrong medication and sending that incorrect prescription to the pharmacy. This is a horrible way to treat patients and Pacific Neuropsychiatric Specialists (PNS) should really recognize the distress you put families in on a regular basis by your physicians actions.

Robert Magaw I went here during a difficult time in my life and let them know that I was in treatment recovering from substance dependence and had lost everything. They lead me to believe that they would bill my insurance at the current time and bill me for the copayments which I could pay a little bit later once I completed treatment. After seeing me multiple times putting me through painful tests, they canceled my last appointment which was to go over the results of all of those previous tests. They did this in a very humiliating fashion in front of other patients, even though they knew before they scheduled this appointment that I would have no way to pay any copay as I havent been able to at all up to this point and that I still had three weeks of treatment to complete.

Bryan Gallinger I have been a client of Dr. Paul McKinley and Elevated Health since 2020 and I am extremely happy with everything about Elevated Healths clinic, services and staff. The Western medical system is broken and it is very unfortunate. I have been battling two health conditions since 2008 so I have been studying holistic remedies in addition to medical protocols for over 15 years. My first consultation with Dr. Paul was refreshing. He spent over an hour with me asking me detailed questions about my medical background, lifestyle, symptoms, goals, and more. He never looked at his phone and no staff interrupted us. I am a detail guy so I have a LOT of questions. He answered them patiently, provided me with 3rd-party resources to research on my own and he gave me options while providing me with his recommendations. My endocrine system is compromised so I require daily medication for my thyroid and hormone treatments. I have Colitis and I also battle chronic sinus symptoms. I have had a dry cough for decades and typically had annual or quarterly sinus infections growing up. On average, I have needed at least one round of antibiotics annually. Dr. Paul is the only person that helped me get rid of my dry cough and I have not needed an antibiotic in 4 years. He taught me how to proactively avoid sinus infections. Much of what the average person deals with is due to our poor diet and lifestyle habits. Most doctors dont have enough time to really get to know their clients and help them treat to the root cause. I can text, call or email Elevated Health anytime I want and within 24 hours, someone will respond. Oftentimes, it is Dr. Paul himself who calls, texts or emails me back. I can swing by with or without an appointment anytime during business hours and they can almost always squeeze me in. Elevated Healths entire staff has been knowledgeable, professional, kind, helpful, and resourceful. EH uses great SMS software making it easy to communicate, ask questions and make appointments. They have a clean, modern clinic, filled with supportive amenities and a warm environment that is inviting and relaxing. In addition to Dr. Paul, I am really impressed with their team of qualified and professional employees. I have really enjoyed working with Yvette, Daniel and Heather over the years in addition to many others. I love that Dr. Paul is always educating himself on the latest products, services and technologies to help us maintain our optimal health. My quality of life has been much better since I became a client of Elevated Health.

Heather Collier Best experience with a doctor’s office ever! I didn’t have a primary care physician forever, even though I have really good insurance. It was hard to find anyone as a PCP without having to wait literally months to get in. My friend had similar, terrible experiences and finally tried Elevated Health. She raved about her experience with Dr. Matt and said it was worth every penny to finally be listened to (and actually heard) about her migraines and other concerns. They have many typical medications available when prescribed so you may not even have to go to the pharmacy. More than anything, this is how health care should be. You feel like the doctors and staff take the time to get to know you and your medical history as a long term investment. You are not just a number and you never leave the office feeling like your health concerns are just overblown. Like my friend had told me, I agree that the healthcare experience at Elevated is worth every penny.

Todd Lassig Ive lived overseas and used the socialized National Health services in those countries, and Ive used both HMO and PPO services here in the US. I think I have found what health care is supposed to be. A relationship with a doctor who is knowledgeable, and actually wants you to be healthy. You will not find a better bedside manner than that provided by Dr. Abinante. Ever. He is experienced, personable and I would send my whole family for their medical care. In fact, I did. I dont know how many patients he has, but if he has a quota, you might want to hurry before hes all full.

Dondee BB He lacks experience. I have Hashimoto that he failed to diagnose for a few years of going to him. I decided to leave his practice and Got an appointment with a PA instead who had some common sense and was able to order the right labs and was finally diagnosed and getting the help I need. I would not recommend him at all. If you do decided to take him on as a doctor, please get a second opinion. His lack of experience caused myself and my family alot of unnecessary stress and grief.

Eric Irwin I was undergoing a nightmare work comp case being bounced from doctor to doctor. I am so glad I finally landed here with Dr. Timothy Gibson. He agreed to take on the case, which many doctors decline with how hectic work comp can be, especially this tricky of a case. He got my surgery authorized, did the procedure and Im already recovering much better than last time. This office is quick and efficient and maintain a professional atmosphere. Id recommend Dr. Gibson highly!

James Last My appointment here was the worst experience I have ever had as a patient. I called inquiring about foot and knee issues I have. They said on the phone they could see me. Great, I made the appointment. X-ray tech was the rudest, roughest man I have ever encountered. Lucky for him my husband wasn`t with me this visit. Or if he would have been there maybe he would have been different. Either way, this guy was a jerk. Then the doctor comes in. I`m thinking he will be professional anyway. Far from it. After I told him why I was seeing him and cutting me off at every opportunity. He informs he doesn`t do feet. What?? That`s why I made the appointment with these people. So, after he tells me to lose weight, my problems will go away. By this time, I am in tears. So , then he finally looks at my X-rays and it shows the arthritis in my feet and knees, he starts to have some compassion. He tells me he can refer me to someone. Todd Lassig Dr. Aish was my Dr. for many years. He is very experienced and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is to the point but not an insensitive jerk. I have know doctors like that. The one down side is that because many people like to go see him, there is often a wait. That being said, he has made time when I had an emergency and needed to walk in. If you are looking for excellent care in Huntington Beach I cannot recommend him more highly.

Tim Dr. Aish is one of the best doctors Ive had yet. He is very complete with his physicals and his expertise in sports medicine is a huge plus when I have a injury. Busy office, but because is a great practice. 5 Stars

Jennifer Bulone What a joke! I wouldn’t trust my care to this office if they paid ME to go there. I signed in at 8:50 for my 9am appointment. 40 minutes later I told them I couldn’t wait any longer since I had a busy schedule and they advised they didn’t see me sitting there so didn’t call my name. Then was told they pulled my file and set it aside because they thought I was a phone appointment with Dr. Aish. How could I be a phone appointment if I physically signed in at the front desk? I asked if I could reschedule on a date they could get me in without having to wait almost an hour and was told they could not since it all depended on what the patient before me was being seen for. At that point instead of saying “can you reschedule me to be the first appointment of the day next time?” I went ahead and decided to find a new physician. If their office staff couldn’t figure this simple situation out there is no way I’m putting my healthcare needs into this group. Dr Aish helped me greatly with a concussion last year and I figured I’d make his office my primary but after this debacle I’m having all my records forwarded to a new primary care physician. Make sure when it’s regarding the health of your body you choose wisely.

doug M I spent almost two days contacting (phone calls & messaging via patient portal) my local medical facility (Op**m) trying to get a prescription for COVID (I’m fully vaccinated). I finally made a virtual appointment with Dr. Dangvu and within 5 minutes got the help needed. So great full and hope it will get me done with this.

Richard Rowe My wife and I have been seeing Dr Dangvu as our primary physician for at least 15 years. We have always been totally impressed and happy with his caring, broad knowledge and understanding, and prompt attention to whatever our needs are. We appreciate his genuine interest and concern with us as true friends and not just "patients". We both have strongly recommended him to our friends as our outstanding primary physician.

h goode Dr Dangvu has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is knowlegeble, professional and personable. Over the years I have had to try a few different "walk-ins" due to after hour issues - but I have often had to go to Dr Dangvu to modify the treatment to get it right!! Walk-ins may seem convenient - but not if they dont get the diagnosis correct. There is a reason Dr Dangvu has earned the trust of our family. Also special thanks to his office staff that are helpful, kind, and efficient.

Jeffrey Hirata I have been a patient of Dr. Peter Dangvu for a couple years now. He is very easy to speak with and I have had no issues so far. His staff does a great job as well. Theyre attentive and friendly. If they have you do bloodwork with labcorp I have suggestions. Make an online appt with labcorp. Show up on time to your appt. Make sure you have the bloodwork request form from Dr. Dangvus office. Happy wellness to all.

Paul Stafford Dr. Kockinis is at the top of my list for being one of the greatest doctors that I have ever had. He is very direct and to the point of what is needed without sugar coating it and seems to be genuinely concerned about his patients.

Sydney Abraham Dr. Kokanis and his wife have created a nice atmosphere in which I enjoy during my visits to the office. I had previously went to an urgent care for treatment in which the doctor there had mis-diagnosed (it happens) but Dr. Kokanis recognized my issue immediately without any delay. I can now regain my confidence since the treatment he recommended worked and I am now feeling great again.

Aries I LOVE Dr. K he was my doctor my entire childhood. HOWEVER his receptionist will not answer the phone. Ive called several times she only answered once to tell me shed call me back. Ive called several times since and no answer.

Jose Gaspar I had a great intake appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Kockinis himself was very personable and easy to talk to. I felt he gave me adequate space to explain my issues and asked relevant questions and gave appropriate referrals. I left feeling confident about the direction we are going in.

Brianna Alvarado I recently started a new insurance and picked my new doctor Dana yan. It was my first time going to this place. I was severely disappointed because the receptionist was beyond means extremely rude and it’s my first time there and she did not make it a pleasant experience…. Here I am looking for a new primary doctor and the receptionist steered me away. So I check in and introduce myself and say hi I’m here for my 10am appointment and I arrived at 10 am and the receptionist got so rude and rolled her eyes and sighed heavy like ugh well you should’ve came here 30 mins early. I said my appointment is at 10am. She tells me with a attitude someone should’ve told you to come 30 mins early and I said no one told me this is my complete first time here and new. Then she’s like I don’t think they will be allowed to take you now. And I said but my appointment is at 10am and I took off time from work and in a rude tone she says your going to have to reschedule. And so I wasted my time coming here being a “new patient first time visit” rude experience I told the lady honestly your being extremely rude right now and she said she was not trying to be rude and I said forget it I’ll find a new doctor at this point and left. So WARNING if you want a rude receptionist to greet you to your doctors appointments when all you want is help or if your a potential new patient… RUN . Run for the hills and find a new primary doctor at that point because if that’s the face of their facility and she’s being rude like that to me and possibly others it’s not right…. Save yourself and do yourself a favor and find another clinic or hospital. I was astonished my jaw was dropped whole time at the disrespect and her being so rude. Never caught her name. But all I can say is I will go elsewhere unfortunately …..

Laura Monahan Ashley was very pleasant, thorough, and knowledgeable. She ordered all my requisitions for upcoming tests and screenings in order to maintain my health. I would gladly recommend her as a health professional.

Kat Nguyen I went to the urgent care with a bacterial sinus infection symptoms which I have communicated with my provider. The provider was very quick to do an “exam” and prescribed Prednisone. I asked for an antibiotic but the provider said it was a viral infection and didn’t need to be treated with antibiotics. Three days later I have made another appointment, made sure to communicate it was a follow up, because my symptoms got severely worse and got prescribed antibiotics. I still got charged for the follow up visit and I disputed it through the portal. I never got an answer but the bill came in the mail. My personal experience was bad and I will not be going back.

Aside from being exceptionally well-informed about the current state of medicine, she is most focused on creating health in her patients instead of just treating illnesses which is the approach I am always looking for. Dr Bolton is also sympathetic and listens thoroughly, explaining her treatment approach, and what can and cannot be done. Her approach creates a partnership between doctor and patient. For me, this creates best possible outcomes for my own wellness both short and long term. Thank you Dr Bolton!

LINDA MORALES I have had the very good fortune of being Dr. Boltons patient many times over the years and every encounter has been a great one. You feel seen, heard and understood, letting you know that she genuinely cares to find solutions to your health problems. She really does check all the boxes! Most recently, she found the right medication to treat my Migraines; a feat that no other doctor has been able to accomplish. My family and I will be forever grateful.

Elliott Rodriguez Dr. Julie Bolton wrote me two prescriptions for two MRIs. I took the work day to have them done, but learned at the MRI center that Dr. Bolton had only turned in one authorization form to my insurance when two were required. Today I called the staff asking them to turn in the second authorization form. They told me “we don’t do that, and we shouldn’t have done that for your previous MRI.” Nice doctor but time wasted. Also one of Dr. Bolton’s staff wrote, “we don’t have the manpower to submit an authorization form.”
