He and the assistant, took excellent care of me and my dear dog. She is feeling so much better in just 24 hours. I just wish going to the vet was more affordable.

John California I actually like Rudolf and Austin now if this treatment is cordinated with them and the RN nurse. This optometry office is amazing as well. However, the other medical referrals have added unnecessary and inaccurate information to my medical records, leading to automatic diagnoses of depression, anxiety, and smoker!—neither of which applies to me im in pain and dont smoke tobacco i have tried thc gummies and smoked marijuna when I was a young adult and teens but that is just dismal for my pain. Because of this, they consistently deny me proper care, even at the hospital. The steroids I received worked effectively, thanks to the RN hotline AND today Gabaentin is working really well no pain and I have ton which is great relief for sure. I strongly recommend seeking care there. Im not good enough to get dental care here also since they wont just refer me to an orthodontist, which is obvious where I need to go. i guess I have TMJ stress-induced diagnosis, and I hope people go see the private ones to get an accurate understanding of whats going on. It costs a lot more obviously but they dont waste my time. Mental health Im very new to this but the xanax medication does work when i need it. For those with chronic pain I would keep mental health to yourself. I do not know if they will undo their mistakes but I hope they are doing the right thing. I have consulted my doctor friends and client doctors whom I trust, and they all said to pay for it now. RUN. Please dont risk your life. They looked into my file, and all of it led to severe pain and headaches left side, which needed a specialist and imaging. After seeing my own orthodontist i found the root issue and I luckily found Calidental since they finally advised me to see a dentist accepting new patients 1 year later after blocking me locally, its all the way in San Luis Obispo but Im happy to go there. What is going on? Thank God for steroids, though, so I could clearly seek my own professionals, but they all recommend surgery :( I dont have that time right now being so poor so I opted for paying for glasses to help with my light sensitivity and headaches. So far they make for good eye protection and to disquise my dented cheekbone. Hoping that maybe being stung by bees will be good for me at the moment. Bee Rockin Honey and I hunt for my own food. Survival is rough but it can be done I shouldnt say Im poor Im quite rich with my own land and a house on it deep in the cuts but with the cost of everything it requires all sweat equity. With the way things are going I will sell everything just to get treatment and start over :( oh well. At least I have something to keep going and blessed to have that at the very least. I moved here from a divorce and losing my job due to covid and I can prove it but who really cares I have learned and now I have a dog and my sanity to hopefully one day find the peace and happiness I dream of. If anyone lives in Alaska please let me know I hear its easier and more peaceful there for a person like me. God bless and hopefully yall find relief soon.

Julie O Id been looking for a caring, compassionate, knowledgeable Vet since my favorite Vet left the state some years back and FINALLY found Dr. Carol! She is my new favorite-ever Vet as she keeps up her continuing education so she is up-to-date on all Veterinary medicines and procedures.. She also properly diagnosed two of my cats who had been misdiagnosed by previous Vets. Two of them are special needs babies. Most of all she authentically cares about your fur children and is gentle and loving with them. She communicates very clearly, addressing all of your concerns in detail. I feel so fortunate to have found her and this clinic.

Aurora K I had my rats neutered here - I was quite nervous because I had read horror stories online about vets that aren’t familiar since it is not super common. But the vet was so great, he explained all the pros and cons and clearly wouldn’t have been judgmental if I decided not to do it. I did it because my boys were fighting. The surgery went great, they healed totally fine, and now they cuddle again like when they were babies. I wanted to post this since I picked this vet because someone else had posted a good review about their rat’s care - if you have rats, highly recommended!

Noneofyourbuisness Dr Forsyth is an excellent surgeon. Office staff is very courteous except for Lexi . Several times she has shown to be professionally discourteous on the phone . She Even fibbed once to me saying there was no one else I could speak to in the office, when i made a request to speak to someone else .However, I know for a FACT she was not there by herself..... UNPROFESSIONAL AND IMMATURE.

Vinicio Rosellini Outstanding, Professional Patient Care. Have been experiencing moderate to extreme pain in one of my knees for over a year. This resulted in very little weight bearing on my knee, and also causing me to bend forward while walking, and very painful. I went to see Dr. Forsythe on November 25, 2024. Dr. Forsythe looked at the knee xray, immediately diagnosed the problem and applied treatment. In about an hour I felt little to no pain in my knee. The knee has never felt this good in over a year. The knee can now bear wiegth and now I can walk upright without pain and not having to lean forward while walking. I highly recommend Dr. Forsythe.

Steven Smith This Dr. Forsythe has the best staff of any medical office Ive ever experienced. At the age of 70 Ive been to a number of other medical offices. He is also an extremely capable and caring Doctor. Highly recommend!

Carol Kardos I don’t understand why my experience was completely different from the other people. I was hospitalized for 3 days and saw the doctor a sum total of NOT more than 2 minutes once. I don’t want to go on & on...but I wouldn’t take my feral cats to him. It’s been 20 months since the total knee replacement with absolutely NO improvement in mobility or pain relief. Should have listened & went to Stanford.

Ann Dinh We were referred to Dr. DeClue by a friend and we are so happy we found her. She was kind, honest, and thorough. We recently had an exam with her after being given the run around with our last vet clinic. We live 30 minutes away from her office but are happy to keep making the drive in order to get honest and compassionate care. Best part is they are actually taking and everyone at the office was fantastic. Definitely would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing vet.

From the very first phone call I made with TONS of questions, to every single time I have called since then, the customer service I have received has been *outstanding*. They are patient, caring, and very empathetic with an honest desire to help you & your pet. The facility is clean, their equipment is up to date, and the doctors are super personable and communicative. My first experience with this clinic was to bring my dog in for PennHip & OFA radiographs in early 2022 (I drove up from Los Angeles after researching many different facilities, if that tells you anything). Most recently, I was on a camping vacation in the area and had a veterinary emergency with one of my dogs, and when I called they were completely booked with appointments but made time to see my boy due to the nature of the injury. It was close to closing time, but they did not make me feel rushed or that my dog’s care was compromised by this at all. I was able to take tremendous comfort in knowing the care that my dog was receiving For the record, I have a lifetime of work experience in the veterinary field, most recently coming up on my 18th year at a very large Veterinary Specialty and Emergency hospital in Los Angeles, so I am very aware of what good and bad customer service/medicine looks like. Veterinary Medical Center is an absolute gem among veterinary hospitals, and the people who live in this area are unbelievably fortunate to have access to such quality services and care for their pets. My only regret is that I don’t live closer.

Bret Boyle Dr. Sima has been fixing all my orthopedic injuries for years, most recently, I underwent Knee surgery, and everything went great! It was an outpatient procedure, and I was walking within a couple of hours after coming out of surgery. He sent me home with this awesome "Game Ready GRPro Cold and Compression Therapy Control Unit", which was a great tool for healing and drug-free pain relief. They have x-ray facilities right there in the office, so you dont have to trapse all over town getting them. Thats pretty cool. His staff are very professional, and efficient. Everyone is helpful and polite. Dr. Sima is also quite the photographer. His offices are decorated with some really great photos from local landmarks and wineries.

Leslie Neely I was able to be seen quickly. The front desk staff was friendly and quick. I was taken back soon after arriving and didnt wait very long for the Nurse Practitioner, Cassandra. She was pleasant and thorough. She listened to my symptoms and did a good exam. I have been to Carbon before and always gotten good care.

Maggie I needed urgent care and found Carbon Health just by looking on my phone. They turned out to be nearby and when I called, they were able to give me an appointment right away. The people there were warm and welcoming, easy to work with, knew what they were doing and were professional. They were able to do testing for me, have have the on-call doctor read the test, speak with me and clearly explain her diagnosis. She asked if I had any questions And I did not, so she wrote a prescription for me. It couldnt have been a better experience. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, including filling out all my information for them. I was amazed to learn that they are open seven days/week. I cant imagine going anywhere else if I need this kind of care.

Cam Boyd The Sunday I went was very quiet. I got right in, simple paperwork, I was seen immediately, staff was friendly and efficient. I can honestly say that this ranked up there with the least frustrating medical experiences I’ve had. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone with very little patience for all things medical. I’m sure it was partially a function of it being a very quiet day, but the experience deserves 5 stars nonetheless.

Carina A Waste Of TIME! Do not go there. The secretary seems like she is not being paid to work there, terrible attitude. I said "Good Morning", no response, nothing. They sent us to another place. This is a walk in clinic that should attend minor issues and give you what is needed. Nope. They dont care at all. In my opinion if youre looking for a place just go to another urgent care where they will treat you and give you what is needed.

Christopher W This morning, I called this urgent care to inquire about a doctor seeing my daughter for a possible UTI. Instead of offering assistance, the doctor advised us to go directly to the ER. Urgent care is designed to handle non-emergency issues to help alleviate the burden on emergency rooms. The fact that this doctor showed no willingness to evaluate my daughter and dismissed us over the phone demonstrates a concerning lack of care for families in the community and feels negligent. Luckily, Carbon Health up the street was more than helpful and looked after my daughter.

Claude Taylor Fantastic. Didnt have to wait, walked right in, and they took great care of me. In and out in no time, and it was super affordable. Also perfect customer service, which is a phrase I dont find myself using a ton when speaking about medicine or medical practices. 10/10

Don Landcaping I am new to the area and was searching for a medical provider for some time. Am so fortunate that I was recommended to this wonderful place. Everyone that works here is helpful, patient and caring. I receive amazing care here. I see Elise, the NP as well as Kerry Hughes, the functional nutritionist. They have both helped me so much with my numerous health issues. This is what all health care should be like. I am beyond thankful.

Lauren Blair I’m really happy with SLO Health. I had wanted to find a primary care doctor after bouncing around for years with doctors through my insurance. It would go like this: wait 4 to 6 months to get a new patient appointment to “establish care” where I felt rushed trying to cover my medical history in 10 minutes, then wait another 4 months or so to get an actual appointment, they would do some tests and it would take months to get in for the follow-up and by then, either the doctor had changed practices or insurance coverage had changed and I had to go through it all again with another doctor. I felt like I never saw the same doctor twice and there was no point in *technically* having a primary care doctor that I could never get in to see, causing me to end up just going to urgent care when something came up. After telling a friend about my frustrations, she recommended I try a “direct primary care” doctor. I did think it sounded a little strange at first, but I’ve been really happy with SLO Health. Selena at the front desk is super helpful and I’m able to get an appointment when I need to (I see Elise the nurse practitioner and she’s great). I would definitely recommend this place : )

Theresa Ontiveros I found Dr. Blacketer to be friendly and very concerned about my health. She educated me about some of my medications and helped me devise a future health plan. I felt she showed me her full attention and explained things really well. I was happy with my visit and very glad I met her. All the staff were very friendly.

travis sitler For those who have C.H.c., if you are looking for a great primary doctor, and if you want to have it at a really good location, then the following information might be very important! First of all, if you choose to go to the Templeton C.H.C. location, they are the most friendliest people, very inviting, and well organized! They are also very punctual when they confirm your appointments, if anything got canceled, and anything in between. Plus, if you use their pharmacy for your prescriptions, they are super efficient and fast! However, it does not stop there. If you need a really good primary Doctor at that location, Bethany Blacketer is the one to have! I must say, she is very thorough, she totally knows about high blood pressure, how to control it, what to do in terms of weight loss, and she can get you going in the right direction. She is very warm, upbeat, and she makes you feel better if you are one of those who is apprehensive about going to the doctor. When it comes to having your lab work read, she is very self-explanatory about your labs, she can give you some ideas about some improvements, and anything that might be important. Plus, if you have any questions, she will always answer your questions! She listens, she is very understanding, and she earns a gold star, perhaps a platinum.

Jenny Beck Dr Blacketer is legit the BEST provider. Very competent and thorough. Always gets to the root of the problem - a great diagnostitian. I will stay with her, no matter how my insurance changes, as long as shes in this area.

Teresa Littman Dr Blacketer took care of me today about asthma allergy that I have not had problems with for over 30 years. She did not require me to do extensive testing. She believed that I knew what was happening. She is great!

Avery OBrien I just re established care and had an appointment with Leanne Kent. I can’t say enough good things! She took the time to review my medical history very throughly, was educational and beyond pleasant to engage with. I know PCP isn’t accepting new patients currently but Leanne is worth the wait.

Kim Snyder Really, I am not sure if I want to tell anyone else in town how amazing SLO PCP is. I love coming here and like the ability to get an appointment. A friend recommended this office as I was again searching for a new primary care doctor (I’ve had one move, one quit, and one go into boutique practice in the last five years.) I’ve seen a number of providers here and I’ve sent my partner, mother, MIL, and a handful of friends here. Everyone has been satisfied with the care received. The staff is kind and will both answer the phone AND return calls. I’m always amazed at how on top of stuff they are. Both my mother and partner have some health issues that require prescriptions and refills and this office gets it taken care of.

A R The first provider I was assigned to left the practice two months later. He was practically asleep during my initial appointment with him. The second provider I was assigned to also left the practice within a few months after I first saw her. The turnover at this practice hasnt given me any confidence in the care theyre supposed to be providing me. Ill be looking elsewhere now.

The entire process was made so smooth thanks to the incredible staff, nurses, and doctors. They were very supportive and took the time to explain every step in detail. They fostered a positive environment that helped me recover faster and provided up-to-date information in advance, which brought me peace of mind. I’d like to recognize the amazing team: Nurses: Lesli, Karen, Gina, Irene, Brittany, Brittany and nurse director. Doctors: Dr. Grace Lee, Dr. Tan, Dr. Chan, Dr. Patel, and the other staff present during my delivery. I apologize if I have not mentioned the nurses and doctors names that have helped me during my delivery. I had a C-section delivery, and even after being discharged, I’ve been recovering quickly thanks to the guidance provided by the nurses and doctors on what to expect at home. A special thank you to the lactation team, Nurse Cindy and Nurse Jen. I had difficulty with breast engorgement, and when I called the hospital the same day, they responded promptly and provided helpful advice that resolved my issue. The hospital also followed up after my discharge to ensure both the baby and I were doing well. Thank you to the Los Robles team for providing such positive, supportive, and comprehensive care that helps patients heal both physically and mentally. I would highly recommend this hospital for labor and delivery! Thank you again, it was the best delivery experience I had with my second baby.

Finally off stage I am more qualified than most of your clientele to rate your surgical crew in the Cardiology Operating Room. I have been in operating rooms for 9 surgeries and 2 procedures. I think they are a crack crew that are all dedicated to doing their jobs and are attentive to their patients. They did their best to make me feel safe and comfortable. Ronette Judson From the moment I went in, it was incredible. The woman in admittance could tell I was in pain. And she got a wheelchair and took me to radiology for my stress test. The people there were quiet and helpful and called the technician immediately. The technicians where the nuclear stress test was administered explained every step for me and were even patient when I couldn’t lie still. When I went back, they had a pillow for me to lie on. They were each so very helpful and understanding. Everyone was so patient and helpful and my visit which I was so nervous about turned out to be a very positive one.

Tim Baker Magnificent nurse and very friendly technicians. My check-in nurse, Sophia, was wonderful. She put me at ease and was extremely kind while she was working to get me set up for the procedure. Dr Kar and his staff were exceedingly professional and proficient, as was the Anesthesiologist. Laura Bickel I appreciated everyone who was there to help. I was checked in right away and it didn’t take long before the first part of my visit was done. I did have to wait for a doctor, but so did others. While sitting in the hall I observed several other people being cared for in a cheerful and friendly manner. When it was my turn my needs were met efficiently and I was finished. I was there about two hours, so that wasn’t too long. Everyone I encountered was professional, calm and helpful.

Lisa Campbell I have had two successful back surgeries with Dr. Carr. He also operated on my husband’s neck years ago. We have been so happy with the results and his office staff has been great. Highly recommend him!!

Sandy Macias Dr. Carr did a fusion in 2017. Something is just not right. My back goes out then I can’t even take a step forward without so much pain I almost pass out. He insists there is nothing wrong. If there is one piece of advice I can give anyone is do not have back surgery. Biggest regret of my life. I’m a registered nurse and I can’t say I’ve ever seen success. I was also put off when he told me to see him after a MRI and when I called. His staff said “that’s why we are here, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about “. Very unprofessional. While waiting in the waiting room overheard staff arguing with a patient on the phone then heard all about it after the call. I’m finally finished with this office. So many bad experiences and I keep going back hoping he can help me. He can’t.

I was a candidate for surgery in 2015 and FINALLY, after years of PT and two short-lived pain-relief epidurals, I came back to Dr. Carr, who was my second opinion orthopedist in 2017. I had successful, LONG OVERDUE, COFLEX device placed, that has been LIFE CHANGING for me in so many ways I just dont have room here . . . Tiffany Avina First time patient at Posada Ambulatory Surgery Center having a salpingectomy. Outside of waiting in the office lobby for 30 minutes my overall experience was great. The nurse who stood out the most was Sunny. She is kind hearted, funny, personable and just a beautiful person inside and out.

Sunny especially helped make the pre-surgical time less scary for me, in the waiting room I started feeling very nervous (light headed) but as soon as Sunny took over her personable demeanor made me feel calm and less alone.

They performed great diagnostics, were up front about costs and risks and really helped me make the best decision for my kitty. I never want anyone to have to go to the pet ER, but if you do, this is the place. Also both times were way more affordable than I expected them to be with what was going on.

Amy Pupa We had a wonderful experience getting our puppy neutered here. The staff was friendly and informative, and it was hundreds of dollars more affordable than our vet in SLO. Very glad I made this choice and would recommend to anyone! He was back to his normal self the next day and never bothered the stitches once. Great work is done here!!

Jennifer I am giving four stars rather than five Because of how I was treated by Roxy on the phone during an emergency. My dog Candy Has been diagnosed with IVDD. We are currently out of town and candy has suddenly lost the ability to walk normally. I called Atascadero animal hospital for advice as to what I should do to get her back home without pain so she can be seen. Roxy shared with me that I have multiple accounts with them. She was not interested whatsoever in Candy just why I have multiple accounts. I informed Roxy that me having multiple accounts is not my problem. My dog is my problem now. She hung up on me and when I called back, she said that I was yelling at her. I was not yelling at Roxy, I was trying to get her to understand that I don’t care about the multiple accounts. I care about my dog Candy and getting her home safely without pain. Roxy was completely unprofessional and uncaring about our situation. I have never had any problems with any of the staff at Atascadero Animal Hospital and have spoken highly of all the staff. It’s unfortunate that during a very trying time for me I was treated badly. I will continue to bring Candy here and hope to never have this experience again.

Catherine LaGrange After 8 years of care I have never been treated so poorly. I have always carried health insurance and fell on hard times. I was told by the office staff that Dr Berry no longer would be able to be my care provider. I was told to go to the Health Dept. I have been a private pay patient for over 5 years and always paid my bills. I never knew that the Hypocratic Oath had a clause stating doctors only care for patience with insurance. Her office staff is horrible. I waited 2 weeks for a call from her office regarding lab results and then I had to call. PATIENTS BEWARE

Erika Fromhold Dr Berry has been my doctor for over 15 years. When I moved out of state I continued to see her as my primary when I visited paso twice a year. I did not have insurance for 2 years and was a private payer and there was no issue on keeping me as a client. I write this because of a previous reviewer. I trust dr berrys staff as well. Thank you

Kai Sanson This review is mostly for Dr. Clark. I have seen Dr. Clark 2 times and can say that she has been one of the best physicians I have ever been to. She has a perfect balance of being both professional and caring. She takes time to explain things in detail and also took into account that I was worried about a huge bill after my visit, so we tried basic solutions first for my tinnitus and it is working. Ive had a long history of ear issues, and she took the time to hear my story and go from there. I would highly recommend her and I have no doubt she will be swamped with clients soon. Review would be 5++ stars for Dr. Clark. The office is going through huge transitions and was difficult to contact, needed a referral from my primary, and other hiccups, but the staff was doing their best.

Vanessa Tambayong Medical Clinic at Higuera aka Pacific Central Coast Health Center - The WORST hospital I’ve ever gone to in my life. My biggest regret! They don’t even deserve a star at all. Is there an option to give them NEGATIVE STARS? I had to wait for 7 months to schedule a preventative care. And on the day of my appointment, I had to wait for over 3.5 hours just to be seen by the doctor. The doctor never followed up on my blood test result nor responded to my message. And their billing process is a nightmare. It took over a year to answer my multiple inquiries on the billing code and they accidentally sent me over to collection while I was waiting for their response with unanswered follow-ups. At the end, they still overcharged me. If you want to go to a healthcare provider which focuses on MONEY MAKING only, then go here. They don’t even care if you are dead or alive, as long as they take your money.

Christina Delekta This office is in chaos. One Dr is retiring, one quitting, leaving Dr Clark. Had an Audiology test with Sandi, who was very kind. Waited to see Dr Clark, did go over the test results, looked in my ears, and told me to go to Costco for hearing aids. When I asked about my sinus condition, she dismissed me. I figured she was busy, or maybe the insurance only covers one body part at a time. EXCEPT, she totally falsified her report! Even wrote that my tonsils were symmetric, they were removed 50 yrs ago! She never looked at anything except my ears!

Brad Cambra This clinic has been very frustrating to say the least. Staff 9/10 times will not complete referrals in a timely manner. My wife originally saw Dr.Goodmen he never once spoke of diet impact like I have read in other reviews nor treated as if they genuinely cared didn’t discuss if maybe environmental issues causing any of her complaints just medication recommendations even when being fully aware of her sensitivities to most pharmaceuticals to me this is just a band aid fix that can add more problems later on down the line. Some how when she tried to make her future appointments Dr.Robles became her physician looks like she was pushed off to someone else maybe in frustration of not wanting to only resort to pharmaceuticals?? It didn’t seem to get much better with this new doctor my wife consistently came in with high blood pressure and immediately she wanted to start her on bp medication.. no discussion on what maybe causing or what her diet is like or monitoring her over a course of time ?? When my wife needed referrals from Dr.Robles as she suffers from uterine fibroid which have been very painful for her she asked for a repeat of pelvic imaging as she explained how she’s had an mri and ultrasound. Instead she put a CT scan. Lastly when asking for a pelvic floor therapist due to her pelvic pain from the fibroids/endometriosis she then sends her to a physical therapist for abdominal pain! As anyone knows the run around and wait time for referrals can get pretty lengthy especially for someone in pain/sick. Just frustrating our search for a good doctor still continues …

Timothy Taylor The female Dr that saw me was so amazing! Ive literally been to countless Drs and ruined my credit with over 20k in medical bills trying to find out why Ive been sick. She was attentive and kind. I told her where the pain was. She actually put on gloves and stuck her fingers in my throat and found the lump Ive been complaining about the other Drs wouldnt believe me about or would try and say oh you have swollen nodes... Im Like no its not that. So she found it... thank God for this woman! Now shes getting it scanned and biopsied to make sure its not cancer. This is the kind of Dr that saves lives. .if only more Drs cares like she does... I cant remember her name but once I get it I will come back to share that.
