Unfortunately it wasn’t enough and too late to save him last year but I appreciated the fact that he tried and never gave up and came right away when I called him.

Cristina Cortez Was referred to Riverway medical by a co worker. I hadn’t heard of it before but they provide primary care, urgent care and even women’s health. I see Dr. Abel, he’s been great. Very attentive and caring. I love that it’s not as big or busy as other clinics. Feels more personal. 1000% recommend it.

Alexandria James Although I’ve heard nothing but positive words about Dr. Potts, I did not have a good experience with one of his receptionist. She was very rude, because my insurance card was digital. She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her, so I just left. The way you speak to someone is very telling. She was snapping, and her facial expressions said a lot! First, I’m already nervous about what is happening in my breast, and already having second thoughts about even keeping this appointment that is 45 minutes away. I left feeling disappointed and ready to just give up. Decorum in that profession is essential. I didn’t have to leave, I could of sat in that waiting room and waited for my appointment but I was not confident enough in my emotional stability at that moment to not say something rude back to her. I can match energy really good. The kicker is now I have to look for a different breast specialist and it’s crazy that this is breast cancer awareness month and even though I’ve gone to countless doctors appointments in the last month, I still am not aware of what is going on in my breast. Daniel and I better not find out. My insurance was charged for me not showing up to an appointment that I definitely showed up to. I removed myself from what appeared to be a hostile environment. I refused that toxicity in my life. Especially if I have to pay for it. I sure hope Dr. Potts knows you’re nasty attitude lost him a patient.

Elizabeth Noel Oh my goodness! I’ve never felt so cared for, so heard! Doctor Potts is absolutely amazing and I trusted him whole heartedly right from the bat. His front office girls are AMAZING as well! So sweet and kind. I would definitely recommend this office!

Shery Russ Dr. Potts is the very first doctor in my care team that I saw when I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. He has an amazing staff -- they took care of me and treated me with kindness, respect, and patience from the very beginning (and they still do!). Whenever I went in for procedures and treatments at other places and I am asked who my doctors are, every single nurse, medical assistant, health worker, social worker, etc. had nothing to say but great things about Dr. Potts. They said he is the best in the valley and that I am in very good hands. I cannot agree more! He is patient and easy to talk to -- he takes the time to explain things and he genuinely listens. I am fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Brisa Fregoso Diaz I’m thankful for Dr. Potts, he performed a cyst removal on my neck, and also performed a partial thyroidectomy. I highly recommend him, he is so attentive, professional, and above all genuinely cares for his patients. Yes, waiting time varies, but is because he takes time with each of his patients. I preferred that then a quick careless rush. He is informative, and explains himself very clearly depending on patients understanding. His staff is amazing, and his medical assistant is truly amazing. As well, my mom was diagnosed with Breast cancer this year, but what gave us peace was that Dr. Potts was her surgeon. I was not able to be with her during her appointments and recent surgery, but couldn’t be more thankful for him being there for her. Thank you Dr. Potts, you are truly a gifted Surgeon. Your experience and knowledge shows every time.

Raymond Saldana Dr Maj spends time to get to know you and ask you what is the problem. He seems like he is honestly trying to help and explains in detail what he does. We are going to start with blood work and take it from there. Most drs give you a minute or less and this was not the case with Dr Maj. He has some great solutions that are natural and I like that because I never have been one to take meds.

Angelica Cory Visited Dr Maj for the first time today and was very pleased with how thorough his initial exam was. He spent almost an hour with me, asking insightful questions and not afraid to call other specialists (during my appt!) to ensure he was prescribing the best medicine for me. Ive been working with another semi-alternative physician and was disappointed in his approach to my health issues, hence the change. Overall Im very optimistic that Dr Maj will finally get to the root of what is causing my health to decline.

Navarro Sandy “Arenita” Dr. Lee was my doctor for my surgery with my meniscus tear. It was the best decision for me. After 3 weeks of recovery I was able to slowly go back to work and into working out. I completed my 8 sessions of PT and was cleared by Dr. Lee. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable and professional.

Kathleen Yager Staff are compassionate, caring and competent. I’ve had two knee replacements with Dr. Duncan, who is a superb surgeon. In both cases, he made his recommendations with good information, and then worked with me as I baby-stepped my way into the surgery. He is very knowledgeable. His craft is state of the art. His outcomes are incredible. Dr Duncan has helped keep me active and able to work and play. When I tell people I’ve had two knee replacements, they are shocked because I move with such ease and comfort. He’s also been able to recommend physical therapists who prepared me before surgery and worked with me after surgery to achieve great results. Also: Kori is excellent! She’s a great practitioner in her own right. As is the Jennifer Nelson/Dr Daniels team. Altogether a superb group at Orthopedic Associates.

We had to wait two hours to see you, but it was worth it. You sat with us, explained everything and got us on board with recovery. And we really liked your PA too. When he came and saw Mom in the hospital, he was so patient and kind and reviewed mom‘s films with her on the in-room computer and it really helped being that she’s a retired nurse. She liked seeing the films, so thank you for that.

Terri Rufert Dr. Liu is an excellent doctor. He is not quick to rush to surgery. He drives different methods to solve the medical issue. He does a great job of explaining. He is in high demand, so expect to wait when you have an appointment.

sonia giron I had a really good experience Dr. Lui is great at what he does he was the one to do both surgeries on both right and left hand and you can’t even notice the scar after the healing. I highly recommend him to anyone who need carpal tunnel surgery. Not to mention his helpers are also very kind and sweet.

Denise Levine I have been going there for awhile. I had carpal tunnel surgery in both hands. The surgeries went very very well. I have no complaints about the surgeries you can’t see scars. The recovery was great. The only thing I can say is the waiting time to get in is sometimes exhausting but it’s definitely worth the wait, everybody is so nice and apologetic when you have to wait it’s just he’s a good doctor.

Rosa Cabello My husband and I have always had a great experience with our vitamins infusion. I’ve gone 3 times because I have back pain, and some joint pain so for me after my infusion, I feel a lot better! My husband walks a lot at his job, he has stated his feet don’t hurt as much. I also recommended the vitamins infusion to my sister since she suffers from fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression from having so much joints pain! So we did a “sister’s day” vitamins infusion and Eugene was Awesome with my sister, it took several tries to get an IV going but Eugene was gentle and kind with her which I really appreciate!! I followed up with my sister praying the infusion helped her, she stated that she felt so much better!!. She said “I actually had the energy to get up and go without struggling with all the aches and pains! We continue to go for our infusion because it helped us!!! I Highly recommend Eugene! To give it a try, even if you’re skeptical about it like I was but I gave it a chance and it worked great for me! High five to Eugene, NP and all the great staff!!!!!

Ivan Rubio Been here for 2 hours and I had an online appointment! Get my vitals checked. Then they check 4 other patients virals after me and those four patients get a room before I do? Make it make sense!!!! Might as well went to the Damn ER. Then I go say something and they tell me they don’t know how they skipped over me. If I don’t say anything I’m there for 3 plus hours in the waiting room waiting!!!!!

They said we don’t go by pain level they go by first come first serve. But they never served me. They were rude and I’ll never be back. Told me to go to the hospital. No way the wait would have been a day wait. Ended up going to the Adventist health. Kaweah health will kill you. They are awful and I will Never be back

A. G The wait time was OK considering there were a few ppl in front of us, better than going to the ER. However, the tall girl at the front seemed to take things personal...Im unsure why, I get it, work is stressful. Im a stressed parent taking my child to receive a level of care that starts at the registration. I called to confirm if they had an Xray machine, since it was the 3rd Urgent care I called. The first thing she said, with a snobby attitude "um do you have a question." I got there 5 min after with my kid, no line....she immediately knew I was the one that called. She said in 30 min I would be called JUST to register, it was passed the 30 min and she kept walking passed me like three times kind of like (look at me) type of attitude. Just to call someone else who came after us... everyone that came after us were all seen first than my child who needed urgent care. This is not a popularity contest, its a medical professional establishment, and people who work there need to be held at a high standard. Please do better.

Bob Bourdette Had an appointment at 1:30pm 1/06/2025. Waited almost an hour to be seen and then needed X-Ray. Technician was rude. Asked staff how long should we wait for X-Ray results she said should be about 5 mins. It has now been 20 mins no communication.

The provider was incredibly gentle, attentive, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I never felt rushed, and all my concerns were addressed with patience and professionalism. It is my first time and hopefully will not be my last. Front desk was fast and professional. Usually they confirm your personal information out loud but in here they are sensitive about your information and find the way to communicated. This location is way much better than the location at 1101 Cherry St at Tulare. Thank you for caring and understanding the sensitive matter of each patient.

Jessica Aguilar Dr. De La Cruz is amazing. He really advocated for my daughter’s health and was very adamant towards her getting further evaluation. Because of his persistency I was able to have my daughter’s cancer diagnosed ASAP. He constantly called to reassure how her process was going in the beginning of her journey. I had never dealt with such a professional caring Doctor, I 100% recommend him and it’s great, clean clinic.

Mary Garza I always come here for all my Dr appt. And I always make an appt before I come in. Place is always clean. They have a TV on so you can watch it. Restrooms are always clean. People here are very nice. My Dr. Ramos is amazing.

Then the nurses assigned to me for my recovery were absolutely wonderful caring for me during my rough recovery from the anesthesia effects. They went above and beyond staying and caring for me late till I was in a state to be discharged. Very professional and caring and competent nursing staff. We were very impressed and grateful for such good service and care.

Isabel Villegas Best ER experience I’ve had. Everyone was so attentive and nice and actually take your pain seriously. Dr Castro was amazing along with my nurse. They even followed up the next day to see how I was doing and helped set me up an appointment with a pcp. Even the medication he prescribed felt like it was specially catered to my needs.. I usually just get set with a narcotic that leaves me without being able to function right but not this time! I could go on and on about the great care! I’m just so happy we have this type of hospital here where everyone actually remembers why they went into medicine.

Veronica Schmidt It’s been a long time since I have been at the Tulare hospital. I usually go to another hospital because of the way Tulare Hospital has been run. When Adventist Health took over, it improved so much more care more compassion, good bed, side manners, so as of yesterday when they took care of me, they treated me very well. They went out of their way to keep an eye on me and to talk to me, which helped a lot continue the good work and continue the compassion bedside manner service with And you will get the Tulare residence back to their home town hospital. I don’t know the Last names of the staff that was taken care of me, but please Place your hand on these nurses and doctor that took care of me a big shout out to Marjorie and Alice they were my nurses they had so much compassion and understanding Marjorie had a very soft voice who was helping me breathe when I was hyperventilating talking to me letting me know everything was OK. Just her touch on my hand and her soft voice made me feel so much better and Alice was also a very heartwarming person so much compassion and caring for her job and her patience. These are the type of nurses that deserve so Recognition and I feel that they deserve to be paid more. Those are the nurses that deserve it. You can tell when nurses are doing it because they care and not that they care for the money so please do a big shout out to those two nurses that showed so much care for me. And I’m not going to forget a big shout out to the ER staff admissions, outstanding heart of Gold

During my grandmother’s surgery he didn’t check her for anything before and uite literally left the hospital during her surgery and she ended up dying because of internal bleeding. Something that could have been detected if he would have checked her before surgery and been present during surgery. I never got to meet her because of this.
