1 /5 Andrea Maribojo: I have scheduled an appt two weeks ago, I think, for Wednesday 3/26 2pm. Now, I called today to cancel my appt tomorrow but I was told that there is a $50 cancellation fee because they want 48 hrs ahead cancellation. I told the lady who answered my call that I actually tried canceling on Sunday through online since the clinic is closed, but they have no option to cancel online. I tried canceling on a Sunday evening because I just got my work schedule for the week. They lady said that they sent me a text message on Saturday to confirm my appt, I wasn’t paying attention much on my phone and did not remember that I got a message from them. Now, I explained to the lady on the phone that I would’ve been able to cancel it 48 hrs ahead if there is an option to cancel online or if their office was open on a Sunday, but none was available for cancellation. I just think that if they have that policy to cancel 48hrs ahead, they should send the reminder texts 48 hours before the scheduled appt and not waaaayy ahead of time. I understand the policy but they should also be considerate to their clients. For people that works full time, it is so easy to forget things. That’s human nature. I wish that the lady that I spoke with earlier was a little nicer and handled the conversation differently. When your client is frustrated, you don’t raise your voice to them because that’s more aggrevating. Is $50 really worth losing clients? I’m definitely going somewhere else, so as my family.
