5 /5 R. Craig Burton: On a recent long-distant trip, my family and I found ourselves stranded on the side of I-8 with a couple of broken axles and bad brakes on our car. By chance, our car was towed to American Collision and Auto Repair. It was a hot day and we had been through a number of "adventures" just to meet up with our car after it had been towed. One of the mechanics, Tom, met us in the parking lot with cold water and concern at our misfortune. By the time we got there they had already put the car on the lift and had diagnosed the problems. Because we were planning to be in the area less than 24 hours, Tom said theyd get working on it and had the car ready for us the following morning. All employees were pleasant to work with and we appreciated the explanations of what had gone wrong, the celerity with which the repairs were accomplished, and the ability to get back on the road the following day with a car ready to drive the 400 miles home. We were blessed to have our car towed there and appreciate all they did for us. Thanks!!!
