Asilomar State Beach - Pacific Grove (CA)

B Matt In a town of butterflies, the Butterfly House is really the cherry atop of the sundae. There are so many little details to take in, it’s definitely worth visiting when you’re in town. Though this is a private residence, so you should certainly be respectful of the occupants and their neighbors.

B Matt This is a town of statues and Otter Sculpture is one of the many statues that you can take in along the beach walk.

Will Roberts Adam and this ghost tour are amazing! Cannery row has such history and the ghost and the stories around the row are just … fun! A must see ghost tour!

Terrie Snell This place is Amazing!! It is absolutely beautiful. It is so neat and clean. The exhibits are very impressive. The vibrant colors of some are awe-inspiring. There is definitely plenty to see and do. All of the children that I observed seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I definitely will be back!

Ron Clonts A large outdoor space with plenty of room for parties at picnic tables, grilling at the BBQ pits, or walking, cycling, or team sports. There are multiple parking areas and easy access on paved sidewalks or ramps. Two playgrounds are on both sides of the lake. The only place to avoid is the creek running south as there is lots of trash in the grass.

BrittanyAlexisSky There are so many stores to look and shop at. Everything you can think of is here. Theres parking but its 30 or 40 dollars in the close area. The location is beautiful. I love looking at the ocean while Im shopping.

Tony Bess Loved the view on a beautiful clear day throughout Monterey/pacific Grove. If you get an opportunity to bring a bike or rent one It would be suggested for some great opportunities to see the area from a different perspective.

Jerrie Donovan This is a small but powerful state reserve. We spent all day there and walked the whole park we clocked 10miles. The views are amazing and to see the wildlife going about their life was captivating. It was windy and cool on one side and warm on the other side. There are several parking areas to not have to walk the whole park, but that takes away from enjoying the park.

Sandra Diaz We love this small museum! It has tons of things for small children to do from a playing area to finding a fossil in a rock pit. It was awesome to find out that they have special event on the last Saturday of the month. When I went it was free and there is a beautiful park across perfect for a picnic and it’s a small walk to the beach for longer visits.
