5 /5 Bill Christner: Wanted to share my recent experience with Auburn Body Shop. Generally you make an appointment, take your vehicle in for repairs, repairs are made, you come in and pick up your vehicle and drive away happy with your ride. But what happens when the repairs don’t hold? That’s when you find out exactly what kind of business you’re dealing with. Do they stand behind their work, or do they find something else to blame the failure on. Auburn Body Shop is the former. A repair to my Honda pickup got contaminated and failed. I stopped into Auburn Body Shop on a Friday to show them the issue. They didn’t flinch. They pulled the file, verified the work had been done there, and got me in the following Monday, not 6 weeks out like they were scheduling new work. They made the repairs, and I picked up my truck that Friday (4.5 days in the shop). All for no charge. They apologized multiple times, but only once was necessary. Their integrity speaks volumes for how the business is run.
On a similar note, my daughter had her spoiler painted by Auburn Body Shop. When we came in to pick it up the owner noticed a very, very small blemish/scuff. He told me “I won’t let it leave my shop in this condition.” He had it repainted and we picked it up 3 days later. Integrity. You can’t put a dollar sign on that.
