Review for Chevron Gas Station – 1549 S Novato Blvd, Novato, CA I’ve been to a lot of air stations around Novato and have often found that the pumps don’t work correctly, causing more air to escape from my tires rather than filling them up. However, when I visited this Chevron location, I was able to get an accurate reading and fill my tires without any issues. The air sensor on my car turned off as expected, and I was done in no time. I would absolutely recommend this station if you need reliable air for your car tires! 3/19/25

Nikey Castillo If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. My tire popped in the middle of the road while I was moving into my new house, my first day in Novato. Luckily I was able to get a spare on and I called Toscalito first because of their good reviews. Aaron answered and was so kind on the phone and was able to see me right away for a new tire. The wait wasn’t long but while I was there I heard all 3 of the guys at the front (Tony, Aaron and Eric? I hope that’s his name) answer phone calls and speak to customers and their customer service is truly exceptional. I chatted with them up front for awhile after my car was done and it felt like talking with old friends. I am so grateful for my experience here, I will only use Toscalito and recommend them, you have a customer for life! Thank you guys for helping welcome me to Novato

Su Yi I’m so impressed of the service we got here. It’s hard to find a honest mechanic these days… plus some that gives exceptional service! My son bought his first used car and we were told to take it there to get it checked out before my son bought it. They were very thorough and understood how my son was buying it all on his own. Bottom line they were caring and very reasonable! Thank you so much for your help! My son will be taking care of his auto care there from now on!!

IYM RETURN SOLUTIONS I have had the pleasure of working with Able Tire and Brake since 2022 when I first me their GM Jayme. I had a 2010 Subaru Legacy that had been well-maintained by a close friend for many years. When I purchased the car, I had it thoroughly checked out at the dealership where it had always been serviced since the prior owner purchased it. At the time, they had advised that the tires and wheels were in good shape. About a year later, we were driving one Sunday and noticed a strong vibration in the steering wheel. Northgate Automotive, where we service the car, suggested contacting Jayme over at Able Tire & Break, and Im so glad that I did because it was the beginning of a GREAT RELATIONSHIP SO FAR. They examined the car and advised that I needed new tires. Whoa, a RED FLAG went up as I had been informed earlier that year that the tires were fine. I asked to speak with the GM, Jayme, and he came over with a big smile and in a "VERY KIND" voice and politely asked (which is not often the case today as, Please and Thank You are frequently forgotten in business today), "How can I help you?" My reply was probably nowhere near as kind, not rude, but most likely Excited and Flustered. I asked, "Your advisor has informed me that I need four new tires, but just a few months ago, the dealership indicated that the tread depth is sufficient. Why do I need four new tires?" His reply was calm and made perfect sense. "You have a large blister on the inside of your back inner tire, causing the vibration, and youre lucky it didnt blow out on the freeway coming over here. Additionally, the tires are more than 5 years old and have large cracks, making them unsafe to drive on. Im a big advocate for "Trust but Verify," so I asked him to show me, and thats precisely what he did. Everything he told me was 100% correct, and my concern for being taken for a ride was no longer. My great experiences dont end there, but Ill keep them brief and let the results speak for themselves. On our second car, I also needed new tires, but this was due to wear and tear. It was discovered that two of the rims were bent. So Jayme got me a price for two new rims. When it came to ordering them, the vendor advised that they had made an error in the cost and couldnt honor the quoted price. Jayme suggested, Dont worry about it; Ill find you another pair at that price or as close to it as I can. Which is precisely what he did. When the pair arrived, they were not in the best condition, and he transformed them into as good as new. I just purchased two more rims from him that came in excellent condition. This time, I asked for pictures first, as they were already used. So if you want to know where to go for Tires and Brakes in Marin, Jayme over at Able Tire and Brake is the place to go, and you dont even need an appointment. They are located just across from the Chevrolet dealership in Novato on Redwood Highway. Thank you, Jayme. My wife and I appreciate what you have done for us and will continue to do for us as long as youre working there.

Philip Halsey Big Garage, with plenty of car lifts! Also, a very nice crew of gentlemen that assist you, and a nice waiting area. Oscar fixed me an appointment and no time and got my car out with the cheapest synthetic oil change in the area. Went to Leonardis initially and they had a 7 hour wait, and a tiny crew. Im glad I went to DNA instead. Good crew and good work Thanks yall
