Calvary Chapel of South Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe (CA)

Cindy Rodriguez Our first day visiting Tahoe fell on a Sunday. We went to the 8 am Masa to make the most of our day. We werent sure if wed get in because we didnt have reservations but we had no problem at all. The greeter at the door was funny and the priest was even more amusing. He was loud, in a good way, and very charismatic. The church practiced safety precautions with social distancing and mask wearing. My highlights were the stained glass art and the prayer garden put back with a replica of Michaelangelos pieta.

Norma Tauro A place filled with peace and serenity. Had been there on Sunday morning mass. Loved the church.

Sprogis Kyle (KS) The people here are very warm and friendly. I got to help out in the sunday-school sunbeams class. Probably 90% of the people that came are visitors. The parking lot is small and crammed, but there was plenty of parking on neighborhood streets. It feels like a home away from home. I will definitely come back the next time Im vacationing in this area.

P Pruett Friendly congregation, the priest was welcoming and stuck to the gospel on her homily without mixing in politics. Parking was a bit of a challenge as its limited. A little hard to find since its not visable from the street. Watch for the Episcopal sign to turn in.

JeAnn Cherie This is a lovely little church that is always a pleasure to visit. The people are very friendly and inviting. They always make you feel like home! The love of Jesus and the Word of God is shared here. I encourage you to visit them!.

Elisha Clark Gorgeous place to behold. Quite a wonder sitting about in an area that is very secluded a respectable. Like something out of a pine mountain romance novel. Great place if you wanna have the photos make people think its a fake fantasy scape back drop, but its real!

Sean Johnson Came up from Reno to attend with friends. Everyone was friendly, and such a beautiful setting. Pastor Terrence gave an intelligent, engaging and relevant sermon, and spent a long time afterwards discussing and helping me on my journey.
