5 /5 Johanna Mullen: Ernie saved the day for me once again today. The battery light came on in my car this morning. I took it to a national chain to have the battery tested and replaced. After paying for service, I turned on the car, and the battery light was still on. I was confused. I asked them about it, and only then did they test the battery. Turns out it was the alternator. I called Ernie. He looked at the car right away, said they should have checked it BEFORE replacing the battery, and that the new battery was not going to last long without a functioning alternator. He ordered one right away and replaced it for me. I was very grateful for his fast and expert assistance. As always, he goes through the pricing with customers to ensure they know exactly what they was paying for, and what their options are (e.g., Did I want a new alternator, or an after market one, and what the prices were, and what the pros/cons were.)
