1 /5 Joseph Mully: I really don’t want to give a family business a bad review, but I have to be honest about the experience. I had the front bumper repainted, and when I picked up the car, I was already disappointed. The finish had orange peel, visible wobbles, and dust trapped inside the paint. Vince Senior convinced me that it was the best he could do, and out of respect for him and because I was planning to sell the car anyway, I decided to accept it.
However, things have only gotten worse. The car is driven by my wife, who never even drives on the freeway, and yet the smallest rock chip causes huge chips in the bumper. The car has only been driven about 400 miles, and it already looks like it’s been driven 100,000 miles, with chips everywhere from just regular driving on surface streets.
I spoke to Vince Junior about how unhappy I was with the paint job, and I told him that the problem is that they’re using cheap, low-quality paint that chips way too easily. He tried to tell me that this is normal, but I explained that the bumper didn’t look anything like this before the paint job, even with 90,000 miles on it. Now, just 400 miles later, it’s a complete mess.
At this point, I feel like I have no choice but to warn others and let them know about my experience. I really can’t recommend this shop to anyone, and I definitely won’t be going back.
