If a part doesn’t need fixing, Darwin will say so. Services are timely and straightforward. But they are busy, so it may take a few days to get in for routine service.

5 /5 Harry Schlough: 3/4/2025 Experienced an intermittent starting issue with my Audi A4 Avant. Diagnosing the issue was challenging, but once again Darwin and his team isolated the problem, AND were able to obtain the necessary parts and repair the same day! I continue to value their honesty, expertise and customer service. 12/12/2024 Our LR3 had the rear passenger window broken while parked in the city. I called them for help, and the CR Automotive Team obtained OEM glass from Land Rover quickly and replaced quickly. Once again, the quality and timeliness of the work, and exceptional customer service are unmatched! 05/17/2024 Continued great service from CR Automotive. While driving in my Audi A4 Wagon, the alternator light came on and the car quickly shot down completely before I could get to my location. I had the car towed to CR Automotive. Once the car arrived at CR Automotive, Darwin quickly called and provided me a clear estimate. I gave him the go ahead, and they obtained a new alternator and replaced it by end of day. My car is running great! Once gain, I cant stress enough the superior customer service, quality of the work, and CR Automotives honesty and integrity. 1/25/2024 Once again the CR Automotive team provided above and beyond service for my nearly 20 year old Land Rover. They listened to my concerns while successfully diagnosing the problems, and made the necessary repairs quickly. Its running great! They also informed me at pickup, that they had successfully obtained warranty coverage on some previously installed repair parts, and also credited their own labor associated with those previous repairs - I never even asked - as Darwin said "We value our customers and stand behind our work." I cant stress enough, not only the quality of the work, but CR Automotives honesty and integrity. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Another recent visit (November 2023,) this time for my Audi A4 Wagon - Once again the CR Automotive team provided excellent service, along with great communication, honesty and genuine value. I will never go elsewhere. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Im a long time and repeat customer. Recently had another excellent experience with the CR Automotive Team. My Land Rover LR3 was misfiring and losing power, with Engine System Fault displayed. They diagnosed the problem quickly, and made all the necessary repairs, including obtaining new parts, within one day. Running smoothly now. Once again, great service at a fair price, with complete honesty!

5 /5 DeLee Lantz: I feel so lucky that CR Automotive was recommended to me by my San Francisco auto service company some years ago after I moved to Marin. My first experience with CR was after Id been told by AAA roadside service that I needed a new battery. After the charge by AAA, I got to CR Automotive. After checking the battery, they told me that I didnt need a new battery; the battery just needed a charge. Many other places would have just sold me the new battery that Id said I needed. Darwin and Jimmy are not only great lead mechanics, but also great communicators. They give so much helpful information that other mechanics dont usually take the time to do. For instance, the last time I was there, I learned from Darwin the difference between oxygen and nitrogen molecules inside tires that determine tire pressure maintenance! And that pressure is lost even if a car just sits in a garage and isnt driven. Plus how outside temperature affects tire pressure readings. CR has kept my 15-year-old car running well and safely AND at a reasonable price.

5 /5 Marlene Siminow: My 2001 BMW had unfortunately been service neglected for too long. I went to CR Automotive on a friends referral. Darwin treated my car like his own, checked it from top to bottom, found important issues I thought had been resolved, didnt need to fix the problem another shop told me I had, and took time to explain everything to me and plan the repair. My car drives like new and CR Automotive has a regular customer in me from now on.
