4 /5 Sean Robertson: Ive relied on Davies for two to three years to maintain my 30-year-old Lexus. Their mechanics are consistently competent, and I consider the owner an honorable man. The front desk staff are mechanics themselves and very knowledgeable. Though prices are a bit high, I recognize the challenges of operating a business in California. Recently, my old car broke down a couple of times, and a minor mistake by Davies led to a few extra visits. But considering the cars age and the desert summer, I found the owner and staff receptive. They researched thoroughly, and we reached a fair, amicable solution. I truly believe the owner cares about his customers and the reputation of the business hes built over those last many years.

1 /5 Koyote Cow: Took my Range Rover sport 2019 in for a diagnostic because I had charging issues. They charged me $85 for a diagnostic. They said my alternator was good and I just needed a Range Rover battery. I asked them what they use to test the alternator and they said their software system that plugs into the vehicle. I asked him did they do any manual test with a multimeter on the alternator itself and they said they didnt because somehow this software system accomplishes it. They tried saying my battery wasnt recharging because of a misaligned fan which would cause $2100 to repair before they could even diagnose any other issue with the charging system. This was all on a bunch that the technician said he experienced working on another Range Rover. All I did was China flashlight at the fan trying to say its not spinning perfectly even though it wasnt even coming close to hitting anything or even rubbing against anything. Then I asked him how much oil change would be and they said it would be $500 and Im like thats more than Range Rover charges. So I took it to Range Rover Dealership service center for a diagnostic. They said the battery is good and I dont have to have a Range Rover battery as long as the CCA is above 850 which the battery was 900. They said theres nothing wrong with the fan. Is it the fan wouldnt be causing electrical problem. Maybe engine overheating or air condition might not run as well but it wouldnt be causing an electrical problem. Especially if it wasnt hitting anything. I took it to another shop to do the work on the alternator. They replaced the alternator with the same battery that Davies said was bad. Car has been running perfectly since.

5 /5 Thomas Tyle: Davies Auto Care is my trusted mechanic service. Its across-town for me, and were now a one-car household, so I have to wait there while work is done. This trust goes a long way in helping me justify the time and expense. Ive left restaurants/films/relationships because of dis-trust, and that is NOT the case here. Good business, good people. Only one request: As were so tied to our phones, and sometimes the wait is necessary, maybe wifi access to internet for customers might help in diffusing the time. Also, if *I* could do a little proactive research, Id like to find a food place nearby, walking distance.
