Even though we lived in the Bay Area and away from Monterey, each time we came south, we always passed by to enjoy the playground. Very few things have changed so all is familiar. Even now my kids are adults, they still enjoy this playground. Bring yours. We highly recommend it.

5 /5 Chris C: Hands down one of the best playgrounds around!! And theres only one entrance, so you can send the 5 and up kids on their own and relax a bit. Theres a snack bar at the ball park next door where you can get candy, popcorn, and even burgers and hot dogs. Bathrooms are clean enough.
