Elias immediately understood the importance of an accurate diagnosis and made time in his fully-booked schedule. The accurate diagnosis was different and the issue less urgent, but the repair was completed within a day and at a very reasonable price. This was our first experience with Hernandez Automotive, but well be sure to return for any future repairs.

5 /5 Peter Ting: Highly Reliable and Honest Mechanic! I came to Hernandez needing an installation for my 2019 Toyota Camry. Initially, I got a quote from Toyota Sunnyvale, and they wanted over $600 just to install a new driver-side mirror! That’s when Hernandez stepped in. He was empathetic, understanding, and was able to accommodate me the same day my parts arrived from Toyota Sunnyvale. If it weren’t for Hernandez, I’d have ended up paying more than three times the price at the dealership. I’m proud to say that Hernandez has become my go-to for all maintenance and repairs. He’s consistent in delivering on his promises and providing outstanding customer service. He’s incredibly analytical, pays attention to every detail, and always goes the extra mile to save me money. Another example of Hernandez’s dedication to saving me money: when my 2012 Kia Rio was having trouble starting due to a battery issue, other mechanics would have jumped straight to suggesting costly repairs. But Hernandez took the time to troubleshoot the problem from the ground up, exhaustively exploring all options before even considering any repairs. He truly cares about getting to the root of the issue and not pushing unnecessary services. I can’t recommend Hernandez enough—he’s trustworthy, skilled, and always looking out for the customer’s best interests.

5 /5 Brian Meek: I’m so glad I found Elias Hernandez! He’s a good man and a great mechanic who takes pride in his work - he does it right! I do a lot of my own car maintenance tasks, but I’m not messing with wheel bearings (don’t have the equipment for one thing). When I suspected I needed new wheel bearings and walked into Hernandez Automotive for the first time, Elias hopped in the car for a quick drive and confirmed the diagnosis, and THEN we set a time for an appointment where I would bring my choice of quality parts (I bought hub assemblies with the bearings in place to save labor). He installed them properly for a fair price. I’ve been back a few times, and I’ll probably do less of my own car work moving forward because I’ve found a great mechanic (I like his growing team too)!
