Japanese Auto Service - Tracy (CA)

D L I rarely write reviews, but felt I needed to write one because of my great experience here! (This experience was from a couple months ago but now just getting time to write review) First, my car (i have an old white prius) broke down in the middle of the street so I called towing and this guy named Jay came within 10 mins. He was extremely helpful and nice. He also told me that I should take my car to Tracy Auto Repair (its sister company to the towing company) instead of another one (like Toyota) because itd be more reasonable priced and the work would be better. I was a bit hesitant because maybe he was just trying to sell. Also I couldnt find much reviews for tracy auto repair. But I didnt have much options so decided to trust him and Im so glad I did! It turned out I needed to replace my head gasket. They quoted me for 1600 which based on my quick google search was reasonable. Anyways, came back to pick up car and the car is now working well! Also I asked my other friends since who r more knowledgeable and they said the work and price was great...just like they said it would be! Also, everyone at the shop was friendly and transparent. Ill definitely be coming back here later if I have problems!

KP Naidu I got my 2005 Prius serviced at City Auto Care & Tire. Work involved replacing the front and rear shocks and struts, replace the water pump, exchange transmission and brake fluids, replace spark plugs, engine and cabin air filters replaced, wheel alignment, replace front and rear wiper blades. The work was completed in one day. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Also, got a 15% discount as a Costco member. The car runs great now. Very happy to recommend them.

Certified Dirty Idle Took my Mercury here to replace the blend door actuator and was very satisfied with the service. Estimated price was half of what I expected and was repaired in a timely manner. Would recommend this shop to anyone and I’ll be sure to bring any other of my vehicles here if necessary.

Steve Dittrich They are the best! Everyone that I’ve come in contact with at Tracy Mazda has taken really good care of us and our new CX-70. A special thanks to Shannon in Service, for resolving an issue with my fob, WHILE she was checking my mileage for the service visit. Amazing! If you want a Mazda, this is the place you should start. I was treated very professionally and fairly (without having to go through the usual car buying ordeal). Ask for Jennifer when you hit the lot - you’ll be glad you did.

Stacee I just brought my truck home after having some window assembly work done. I am a 50 year old single woman who constantly has to be concerned about being treated fairly when getting any kind of work like this done and I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I cannot remember the last time i had such awsome service by a more trustworthy group of guys. I wont take my truck any place else.

Raquel Castro This review is long over due. I took my 2011 Lexus here on my moms recommendation for the first time 2 years ago, for a water pump issue. I was stressed at the time with my cash flow as we often are when major car issues arise and every where else was quoting me three times plus what this shop did. I wasnt sure if this place was the right move for my car as I had always taken my car directly to Lexus for maintenance. Over these next few years, my car has been here for all its maintenance needs, including plugs, breaks and more recently, transmission. The job here is always done right and I always know Im getting an honest fair price. Im grateful to have found the Aquilles team for my cars needs. I recommend this place 100%

Drew Topher If you’re looking for an honest place to take your car this is absolutely the best repair shop in town. They are family owned and operated with no upsells and hassles like the dealership or other mainstream shops. I’m very thorough in my research, trust me. I got there when they opened and was able to get my car in right away. Karen was so kind. The price breakdown for the labor and parts is the best value compared to the dealership; especially for me being low income (i paid half of what they quoted me at nissan). My car was ready THE SAME DAY. I support this business, I will be back. Thank you!!

Christopher Hurst Today SpeeDee Oil Change in Tracy, CA saved me about $100. My drivers-side headlight went out. Because its not easy for me to get at, I searched around for estimates. The average was about one-hundred bucks, again mostly because its a lot of twisty work to get to and change the bulbs. Being open Sundays, I went to SpeeDee today and was expecting to drain my wallet a bit. However, the head mechanic took one look at my light, managed to get his hand down to electrical connector, flicked it, and the bulb came to life. Turns out it wasnt burned out; it was just loose. The SpeeDee folks said no-charge and I was on my smiling way. You know Ill becoming back there the next time I need something done! You just earned a loyal customer; thanks SpeeDee!
