J&M Transmission and Auto Care - Tracy (CA)

D L I rarely write reviews, but felt I needed to write one because of my great experience here! (This experience was from a couple months ago but now just getting time to write review) First, my car (i have an old white prius) broke down in the middle of the street so I called towing and this guy named Jay came within 10 mins. He was extremely helpful and nice. He also told me that I should take my car to Tracy Auto Repair (its sister company to the towing company) instead of another one (like Toyota) because itd be more reasonable priced and the work would be better. I was a bit hesitant because maybe he was just trying to sell. Also I couldnt find much reviews for tracy auto repair. But I didnt have much options so decided to trust him and Im so glad I did! It turned out I needed to replace my head gasket. They quoted me for 1600 which based on my quick google search was reasonable. Anyways, came back to pick up car and the car is now working well! Also I asked my other friends since who r more knowledgeable and they said the work and price was great...just like they said it would be! Also, everyone at the shop was friendly and transparent. Ill definitely be coming back here later if I have problems!

Henry Kangas I have been taking my 2015 Jeep to EZ Automotive for a while. I had a blown head gasket on one side and Gabe informed me the best way was to do both. Very informative and gave me a very reasonable price. Keep me in the loop with texted and pictures all along the process. Very knowledgeable and a super great guy. He is now the only mechanic I use now.

Stacee I just brought my truck home after having some window assembly work done. I am a 50 year old single woman who constantly has to be concerned about being treated fairly when getting any kind of work like this done and I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I cannot remember the last time i had such awsome service by a more trustworthy group of guys. I wont take my truck any place else.

Robert Pogue I was traveling home and got a screw in my tire and made it to their shop slightly before closing. They were friendly and helpful and got my tire fixed even though they had to stay a little late. Thank you !

Michael Arellano I hadn’t been in an accident in many years so I was nervous about the whole process and Central Valley Collision really took care of me. The process was seamless and quick! Within 3 days I had my front bumper, grill, and headlight replaced on my 2021 BMW 330i. They even cleaned the inside and outside of my car! They did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends! Thank you Gerardo and team for the excellent customer service and for making my car look brand new!

Zhian Safavi Jose is a great mechanic, 2003 Acura timing belt kit, also this cars catalytic converter was stolen for precious metal that it contains. Jose found us a replacement and did a fantastic job in installing it. Jose does a great job in forming the pipes and even a greater job in welding. Ty

Jenny Lewis Sarah and her team really helped me with my car trouble. I got stranded in town, from out of town, needing to replace an alternator to get back home. They got my car up and running in no time, and even helped me with some additional issues that Ive been putting off. Check out the beautiful job they did on my headlights! (Before and after pictures attached) Since my car needs a lot of work, Ill definitely come back! Friendly and competent staff. Totally recommend this location.

Certified Dirty Idle Took my Mercury here to replace the blend door actuator and was very satisfied with the service. Estimated price was half of what I expected and was repaired in a timely manner. Would recommend this shop to anyone and I’ll be sure to bring any other of my vehicles here if necessary.
