Clifton Luke I have been attending Metropolitan Community Church in San Diego for over one year. I moved here from San Francisco (where I lived for 25+ years) and hoped to find a loving church community. Throughout my adult life, I have visited many churches but never really found anything that felt like a good fit. The moment I entered my first service at the Met, I immediately felt welcomed. Everyone is friendly, inviting, and non-pushy. The churchs philosophy is "come as you are." You dont have to hold any specific religious beliefs. The outlook is that everyone is on their own spiritual journey. Its a very accepting church. Anyone that wants to may take communion. This gentle, loving approach is what draws me to the Met, and the people are truly loving, kind, and supportive. There is no pressure to believe or do anything. Another major upside is that the church is financially stable (for example, it owns its own building), so there is also no pressure to contribute generously. I am confident you will find that this church will warmly welcome you and provide you the space, support and loving respect to nurture your deeply personal relationship with God, whatever it is meant to be for you.

P Harris Great new church. Casual atmosphere. Sort of a mix of Baptist and non-denominational. Lots of young adults. Pastor is a good Bible teacher that adds in humor, stories and illustrations; I enjoy him! Members worked together and gave the community a wonderful outdoor service and carnival.

Jasmine Wilson Captivate Church is absolutely awesome. Everyone at Captivate is so welcoming, friendly, and welcoming. I love Captivates focus on building friendships and community. The family atmosphere is so nice. They even serve free coffee, donuts, and lunch every week after services. All of the pastors are truly gifted and insightful. I am deeply blessed to be able to benefit from their messages. Thank you so much for your service to the community and to God! An A+. Highly recommend.

Paul Dal "Fresh. Real. Powerful" , Ive been attending Awaken Church for 4 years now and my life has truly been transformed. Just like those three words, every sermon is fresh, you wont hear the same message preached twice (unless you jump to different campuses) , its real and raw as the speakers are transparent, and powerful because the Word of God is preached and has the power to shift hearts, break bondages, and transform lives. I grew up Catholic and never knew what a true relationship with God looks like. I can keep on, but heres just a gist of it :). If youre on the fence, just go and experience it for yourself, bless!

Sarah McFadden They have A. Room that is, for donations, food clothing. Hopefully Blinkit and they allow people to come there when they need resources which is awesome. Because Ive been in that situation. Where I just dont have anything that would make me feel like being.

Dawn Schofield The best church, hands down! Its light, funny, the music is awesome and Pastor Jared and Pastor Josh are very passionate about their sermons. Been attending for 6 years.

Wanda Brothers Flood is a wonderful church with a passion for making the world a better place instead of being self-righteous and telling people how they should live. Its quite refreshing and the pastoral staff are wonderful human beings. I highly recommend this church. They set up a wonderful family experience for Easter including bunnies to pet and a wonderful flower backdrop to take Easter pictures to post
