LA Open Door Church - Los Angeles (CA)

Hans Luna I visited the Blessed Sacrament Hollywood with my better half for Sunday Mass. Its in a convenient spot right in the heart of Hollywood, which made it easy to get to and there is ample parking. The staff—especially Martha, Samantha, and Janine—were friendly, engaging, and accommodating, which helped us feel at ease and welcomed. Father Paul gave a sincere, well-thought-out sermon that seemed to really connect with the parishioners. It was relatable and heartfelt. Their website is simple to navigate, and they keep their Instagram pretty active, which is nice if you want to stay updated. Its a great place to deepen your faith with a grounded, approachable community. We will definitely be part of the parish.

Jay Vale This was my second private baptism, and both experiences have been exceptional. The first was in 2021, and the second was today. Both services were incredibly special, and I cant thank the team enough. Todays service was conducted by Rev. Corral. My son was woken early, fell asleep in the car, and was hard to wake up again, so he wasnt exactly in the mood for the ceremony. But Rev. Corral was so patient and accommodating, even allowing my older son to join in the ceremony. I often gripe about the price, but honestly, its so worth it. Having my family together, able to enjoy the ceremony in their own way, is truly a blessing. Thank you so much, Rev. Corral – you made this experience a pleasant experience for a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. Our entire family enjoyed the ceremony.

An Beni Love this church since I was little, and still love and come to this church. You feel peace when you come inside, and the mass is very understandable and organized, I love when Father Rafael does mass.

Petra Richard The anointing absolutely fell and I spoke in tongues for the first time (nobody knew or pressured me) it just fell on me during worship and I let the Holy Spirit move. It was beautiful as I left full of hope, not judged but loved. There is one pastor Ebeneezer that preaches longer sometimes on tangents but his messages aren’t bad, just more simple and motivational rather than some of the females are more bold.

Savannah Aldridge I was looking for a church to visit while on vacation, and I was definitely enticed by the fact that the Enchantment Under the Sea dance from Back to the Future was filmed here. While at the church, I was welcomed kindly and got to participate in worship with a Christ-loving community. I was especially delighted that I had stumbled upon the day of the church picnic and was invited to stay. Through the picnic, I met some wonderful parishioners who really showed me God in a way I didnt expect when I went into church that day.
